| 1 | Density functional theory study on the insertion reaction mechanism of dibromocarbene with formaldehyde显示文摘The insertion reaction mechanism of CBr2 with CH3CH2O has been studied by using the B3LYP/6-311G(d) and CCSD(T)/6-311G(d) at single point. The geometries of reactions,transition state and products were completely optimized. All the transition state is verified by the vibrational analysis and the internal re-action coordinate (IRC) calculations. The results show that reaction (1) is the dominant reaction path,which proceeds via two steps: i) two reactants form an intermediate (IM1),which is an exothermal re-action of 8.62 kJ·mol?1 without energy barrier; ii) P1 is obtained via the TS1 and the H-shift,in which the energy barrier is 44.53 kJ·mol?1. The statistical thermodynamics and Eyring transition state theory with Wigner correction are used to study the thermodynamic and kinetic characters of this reaction in temperature range from 100 to 2200 K. | 3 | A general alternate loading technique and its applications in the inverse designs of centrifugal and mixed-flow pump impellers显示文摘For the inverse designs of centrifugal and mixed-flow pump impellers,clarifying the generation process of secondary flows and putting forward corresponding suppression measures is an important approach to improve the impeller performance.In this paper,to provide a better qualitative insight into the generation mechanism of secondary flows in the impeller,a simple kinematic equation is derived based on the ideal assumptions,which indicates that the potential rothalpy gradient(PRG)is the most important dynamic source that actively induces secondary vortical flows.Induced by the natural adverse PRG on the S1 and S2 stream surfaces,two typical secondary flows,H-S and P-S secondary flows,are clearly presented.To specially suppress these typical secondary flows,a general alternate loading technique(GALT)is proposed,aiming to adjust the real blade loadingδp to control the PRG features.At the blade fore part,theδp on the hub streamline should be slowly increased to avoid breakneck growth of the potential rothalpy to reduce adverse streamwise PRG on the S2 streamsurface.At the blade middle part,theδp should be moderately decreased to reduce adverse streamwise PRG on the S1 streamsurface.At the blade aft part,the difference in theδp between the shroud and hub streamlines should be decreased faster to control the exit uniformity.By applying the GALT to the impeller designs of three typical pump types in hydraulic engineering,the organizational effect of the PRG on fundamental flow structures is proven.The GALT can effectively control the PRG distributions and suppress the secondary flows,thereby widening the pump’s high-efficiency zone,improving flow uniformity and suppressing pressure fluctuations.Compared with the current Z-G method and the ALT,the GALT can meet the requirements of'de-experience'better,thereby enabling the designers to obtain good products explicitly and quickly. | WANG ChaoYue WANG FuJun AN DongSen YAO ZhiFeng XIAO RuoFu LU Li HE ChengLian ZOU ZhiChao | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,4: | 7 |

The geometries of reactions, transition state and products were completely optimized. All the energy of the species was obtained at the CCSD(T)/6-31G(d) level. All the transition state is verified by the vibrational analysis and the internal reaction coordinate (IRC) calculations. The results show that the propionaldehyde (~HP1) is the main product of CH_2 insertion with CH_3CH_O. The calculated results indicated that all the major pathways of the reaction were obtained on the singlet potential energy surface. The singlet CBr_2 not only can insert the C_α-H [reaction I(1)]) but also can react with C_β-H [reaction II(1)]. The statistical thermodynamics and Eyring transition state theory with Wigner correc- tion are used to study the thermodynamic and kinetic characters of I(1) and II(1) in temperature range from 100 to 2200 K. The results show that the appropriate reaction temperature rang is 250 to 1750 K and 250 to 1600 K at 1.0 atm for I(1) and II(1) respectively. | 6 | In vitro Inhibitory Activity of Shisandra chinensis and Polygonatum sibiricum against Vibrio harveyi and Its Biofilms显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to analyze the in vitro inhibitory activity of Shisandra chinensis and Polygonatum sibiricum against Vibrio harveyi and its biofilms. [Result] By agar diffusion test,in vitro inhibitory activity of S.chinensis and P. sibiricum against V. harveyi was investigated. The minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC) a nd minimal bactericidal concentration(MBC) of S.chinensis and P.sibiricum against V.harveyi were determined by doubling dilution method. The inhibitory activity of S. chinensis and P.sibiricum on the formation of V.harveyi biofilms was evaluated by modified MTT assay. [Result]Both S.chinensis and P.sibiricum had inhibitory activity against V.harveyi. The inhibition zone diameter of S.chinensis against V.harveyi was 17.95 mm; MIC and MBC of S.chinensis were both 3.125 mg / ml. The inhibition zone diameter of P. sibiricum against V.harveyi was 12.22 mm; MIC and MBC of P.sibiricum were 3.125 and 6. 250 mg / ml,respectively. | 8 | Effect of pulsatile perfusion during cardiopulmonary bypass in terms of radial artery sphygmogram显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate a quantitative method for using radial artery pulse waveforms to assess the effect of pulsatile flow during cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).METHODS: A total of 34 adults with heart disease who underwent open-heart surgery between April2010 and January 2011 were randomized into a pulsatile perfusion group(n=17) and a non-pulsatile perfusion group(n=17). Radial arterial pulse waveforms of pulsatile and non-pulsatile perfusion patients were observed and compared before and during CPB.RESULTS: No pulse waveform could be detected at patients' radial artery in both groups when the aorta was cross-clamped. Pulse waveforms could be detected at pulsatile perfusion patients' radial artery, but could not be detected at non-pulsatile perfusion patients' radial artery during CPB. | 9 | Mixing of Enriched Lithospheric Mantle-Derived and Crustal Magmas: Evidence from the Habo Cenozoic Porphyry in Western Yunnan显示文摘New zircon U–Pb ages, whole-rock geochemistry and zircon Hf isotopes from the Habo porphyry Western Yunnan, China, were determined to provide constraints on the timing of uplift of the Eastern Tibetan Plateau. The intrusive rocks consist of shoshonitic porphyry(syenite porphyry and monzonite porphyry). Zircon laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(LA-ICPMS) U–Pb dating indicates coeval emplacement ages of ~35 Ma. The porphyries have alkaline affinities, enrichment in large ion lithophile elements(LILEs) and light rare earth elements(LREEs)(e.g., Rb, Th, U, Pb), with depletion of high field strength elements(HFSEs)(e.g., Nb, Ti, Ta) and weak Eu anomalies. They display uniform Lu–Hf isotopic compositions with negative zircon εHf(t) values ranging from-3.9 to-0.6. The chemical characteristics of the syenite porphyries indicated that they most likely originated from the lower crust, with mantle-derived material involved in their generation. Geochemically, the monzonite porphyries are similar to the syenite porphyries; however, the lower MgO contents suggest that they were produced by different degrees of partial melting of the same lower crust source. | 14 | 10E8-like neutralizing antibodies against HIV-1 induced using a precisely designed conformational peptide as a vaccine prime显示文摘Recent studies have demonstrated that the membrane-proximal external region(MPER)of human immunodeficiency virus 1(HIV-1)glycoprotein 41 contains a series of epitopes for human monoclonal antibodies,including 2F5,Z13e1,4E10,and10E8,which were isolated from HIV-1-infected individuals and show broad neutralizing activities.This suggests that MPER is a good target for the development of effective HIV-1 vaccines.However,many studies have shown that it is difficult to induce antibodies with similar broad neutralizing activities using MPER-based peptide antigens.Here,we report that 10E8-like neutralizing antibodies with effective anti-HIV-1 activity were readily induced using a precisely designed conformational immunogenic peptide containing the 10E8-specific epitope.This immunogenic peptide(designated T10HE)contains a 15-mer MPER-derived 10E8-specific epitope fused to T-helper-cell epitopes from tetanus toxin(tt),which showed a significantly stabilized-helix structure after a series of modifications,including substitution with an(S)--(2-pentenyl)alanine containing an olefin-bearing tether and ruthenium-catalyzed olefin metathesis,compared with the unmodified T10E peptide.The stabilized-helix structure of T10HE did not affect its capacity to bind the 10E8 antibody,as evaluated with an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and surface plasmon resonance binding assay(SPR assay).The efficacies of the T10HE and T10E epitope vaccines were evaluated after a standard vaccination procedure in which the experimental mice were primed with either the T10HE or T10E immunogen and boosted with HIV-1 JRFL pseudoviruses.Higher titers of 10E8-like antibodies were induced by T10HE than that by T10E.More importantly,the antibodies induced by T10HE showed enhanced antiviral potency against HIV-1 strains with both X4 and R5 tropism and a greater degree of broad neutralizing activity than the antibodies induced by T10E.These results indicate that a 10E8-epitope-based structure-specific peptide immunogen can elicit neutralizing antibodies when used as a vaccine prime. | YU Yang TONG Pei LI Yu LU ZhiFeng CHEN YingHua | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,1: | 2 |

| 16 | Effect of uneven noise source and/or station distribution on estimating the azimuth anisotropy of surface waves显示文摘With the development of the dense array,the surface wave velocity and azimuthal anisotropy under the array can be directly obtained by beamforming the noise cross-correlation functions(NCFs). However, the retrieval of the Green's function by cross-correlating the seismic noise requires that the noise source has a uniform distribution. For the case with uneven noise source, the azimuthal dependence on the sources in the expression for the spatial coherence function, which corresponds to the NCF in the time domain,has the same form as the azimuthal dependence of the surface wave velocity in weakly anisotropic media. Therefore, the uneven noise source will affect the surface wave anisotropy extraction. In this study, three passive seismic methods, i.e.,beamforming, SPAC(spatial autocorrelation), and NCF, are compared to demonstrate that an uneven source distribution and uneven station distribution have equivalent effects on the outcome from each method. A beamforming method is proposed to directly extract the velocity and azimuthal anisotropy of surface waves. The effect of uneven noise source and/or station distribution on estimating the azimuth anisotropy of surface waves was investigated using data from the ChinArray Phase Ⅱ.
