1Cellulose fibers-reinforced self-expanding porous composite with multiple hemostatic efficacy and shape adaptability for uncontrollable massive hemorrhage treatment显示文摘Uncontrollable hemorrhage leads to high mortality and thus effective bleeding control becomes increasingly important in the military field and civilian trauma arena.However,current hemostats not only present limitation when treating major bleeding,but also have various side effects.Here we report a self-expanding porous composites(CMCP)based on novel carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)fibers and acetalized polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)for lethal hemorrhage control.The CMC fibers with uniform fibrous structure,high liquid absorption and procoagulant ability,are evenly interspersed inside the composite matrix.The obtained composites possess unique fiber-porous network,excellent absorption capacity,fast liquid-triggered self-expanding ability and robust fatigue resistance,and their physicochemical performance can be fine-tuned through varying the CMC content.In vitro tests show that the porous composite exhibits strong blood clotting ability,high adhesion to blood cells and protein,and the ability to activate platelet and the coagulation system.In vivo hemostatic evaluation further confirms that the CMCP presents high hemostatic efficacy and multiple hemostatic effects in swine femoral artery major hemorrhage model.Additionally,the CMCP will not fall off from the injury site,and is also easy to surgically remove from the wound cavity after the hemostasis.Importantly,results of CT tomography and 3D reconstruction indicate that CMCP can achieve shape adaptation to the surrounding tissues and the wound cavities with different depths and shapes,to accelerate hemostasis while protecting wound tissue and preventing infection.Yansen Wang Yifan Zhao Longxue Qiao Faxing Zou Yajie Xie Yudong Zheng Yong Chao Ying Yang Wei He Siming Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,7:6
2Deep plug-and-play priors for spectral snapshot compressive imaging显示文摘We propose a plug-and-play(Pn P) method that uses deep-learning-based denoisers as regularization priors for spectral snapshot compressive imaging(SCI). Our method is efficient in terms of reconstruction quality and speed trade-off, and flexible enough to be ready to use for different compressive coding mechanisms. We demonstrate the efficiency and flexibility in both simulations and five different spectral SCI systems and show that the proposed deep Pn P prior could achieve state-of-the-art results with a simple plug-in based on the optimization framework. This paves the way for capturing and recovering multi-or hyperspectral information in one snapshot,which might inspire intriguing applications in remote sensing, biomedical science, and material science. 3Correlation between the physical parameters and the electrochemical performance of a silicon anode in lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Lithium-ion battery anode used as silicon particles were obtained from different major suppliers,and they were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques and evaluated by electrochemical experiments.Correlations between the key physical parameters and electrochemical properties of the silicon particles were investigated.Silicon particle size,surface oxygen content,-OH content and physical appearance are found to strongly influence the electrochemical properties of the Si anode.The particle size of 100 nm has great promise for the practical application of Si nanoparticles in the lithium-ion battery industry.An inverse correlation between the oxygen content and the reversible capacity or first coulombic efficiency was obtained.The-OH content by surface treatment contributes to enhanced cycling stability by the improved affinity between the Si particle and the water-soluble binder.Spherical Si particles perform better compared to irregular particles,and agglomeration dramatically decreases the cycling stability of the Si anode.Among the investigated Si particles,the sample that exhibited a reversible capacity of more than 2500 mAh g^(-1),a first coulombic efficiency of 89.26%and an excellent cycling stability,has great potential for use in the battery industry.Guobin Zhu Yan Wang Siming Yang Qunting Qu Honghe Zheng 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,2:2

5Construction of Lactuca sativa Plastid Transformation Vector and High-level Expression of gfp Gene in Escherichia coli显示文摘Using genomic DNA of bolting-tolerant lettuce as a template,flanking fragments of lettuce plastid rpo A gene were amplified and cloned by PCR. Targeting the sites of these two fragments,homologous recombinant fragments of exogenous gene were integrated to construct lettuce plastid expression vector p Brpo AGFP,which harbored the expression cassette Prrn-gfp-aad A-Tpsb A. The results showed that the amplified flanking fragments were 1.2 and 1.1 kb in size. After sequencing,restriction digestion,ligation and transformation,lettuce plastid expression vector containing expression cassette Prrn-gfp-aad A-Tpsb A was constructed and confirmed by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. The results of SDS-PAGE electrophoresis indicated that gfp gene was efficiently expressed under the regulation of plasmid specific promoter Prrn and terminator Tpsb A. GFP accounted for 45. 6% of total soluble proteins; inclusion bodies accounted for 47.5 % of bacterial proteins,which reached relatively high expression levels. 9Construction of eukaryotic expression vector of humanarresten gene and its secreted expression in HEK 293 cells显示文摘The eukaryotic expression vector of human arresten gene was constructed and its secretive expression in human embryonic kidney(HEK 293)cells was detected.Human arresten gene was amplified from recombinant plasmid pGEM-Arr by polymerase chain reaction(PCR),and then digested with restriction endonucleases BamH I and EcoR I.The target fragment was inserted into the BamH I and EcoR I restriction sites of eukaryotic expression vector pSecTag2 to construct pST-AT.Restric-tion analysis and DNA sequencing indicated that the arresten gene was successfully inserted into pSecTag2.The recombinant plasmid was subsequently transfected into HEK 293 cells with LipofectAMINETM2000 Reagent,and the expression of the target gene was detected.Reverse transcription PCR(RT-PCR)revealed that the mRNA of the target gene was transcribed in the transfected HEK 293 cells.Western blot analysis verified that the recombinant protein in supernatants was correct.The supernatants of transfected cells were prepared,and 3-(4,5)-dimethylthiazol(-2-y1)-3,5-di-phenyltetrazoliumbromide(MTT)assay was carried out to assess their effects on the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells,which showed that the recombinant protein could significantly suppress the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells in vitro.These results provided a solid foundation to explore the usage of arresten in tumor anti-angiogenic gene therapy.Wei LI Zifang SONG Qichang ZHENG Jun XIONG Dan SHANG Siming GUAN Xiaogang SHU 2009Frontiers of Medicine2009,3,3:0

11Cloning and Sequence Analysis of Polygalacturonase(PG) Promoter in Tomato显示文摘In this study,1 500 bp PG gene promoter was amplified from leaves of tomato cultivar‘Zhongshu No.4'.The bioinformatic analysis of PG promoter sequences was conducted.PG promoter elements were predicted and analyzed by PLANTCARE and PLACE.The results showed that tomato PG promoter contained multiple cis-acting regulatory elements such as typical basic elements TATA-Box and CAAT-Box,light responsive elements 3-AF1 binding site,AT1-motif,ATCTmotif,Box 4,Box I,GA-motif,GT1-motif,Sp1 and MRE,heat stress-responsive element HSE,ethylene-responsive element ERE,meristem-specific regulatory element CCGTCC-box,endosperm expression-related regulatory elements GCN4_motif and Skn-1_motif,defense and stress responsiveness element TC-rich repeats,and circadian control-related element circadian,indicating that the expression of tomato PG gene is related to light,temperature,hormone,stress and other factors.This study laid the foundation for subsequent research about regulation of PG gene expression in plants.Siming HOU Liying ZHOU Lulu BU Chunlei YANG Ting GAO Tian TIAN Zheng'an YANG 2016Agricultural Biotechnology2016,5,2:0
