2Guided Wave Based Damage Detection Method for Aircraft Composite Structures under Varying Temperatures显示文摘Guided waves based damage detection methods using base signals offer the advantages of simplicity of signal generation and reception,sensitivity to damage,and large area coverage;however,applications of the technology are limited by the sensitivity to environmental temperature variations.In this paper,a Spearman Damage Index-based damage diagnosis method for structural health condition monitoring under varying temperatures is presented.First,a PZT sensor-based Guided wave propagation model is proposed and employed to analyze the temperature effect.The result of the analysis shows the wave speed of the Guided wave signal has higher temperature sensitivity than the signal fluctuation features.Then,a Spearman rank correlation coefficient-based damage index is presented to identify damage of the structure under varying temperatures.Finally,a damage detection test on a composite plate is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the Spearman Damage Index-based damage diagnosis method.Experimental results show that the proposed damage diagnosis method is capable of detecting the existence of the damage and identify its location under varying temperatures.Dongyue Gao Yunlong Ma Zhanjun Wu Yuebin Zheng Hongbo Lu 2021Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2021,15,1:1

4Monitoring of Real-Time Complex Deformed Shapes of Thin-Walled Channel Beam Structures Subject to the Coupling Between Bi-Axial Bending and Warping Torsion显示文摘Structural health monitoring(SHM)is a research focus involving a large category of techniques performing in-situ identification of structural damage,stress,external loads,vibration signatures,etc.Among various SHM techniques,those able to monitoring structural deformed shapes are considered as an important category.A novel method of deformed shape reconstruction for thinwalled beam structures was recently proposed by Xu et al.[1],which is capable of decoupling complex beam deformations subject to the combination of different loading cases,including tension/compression,bending and warping torsion,and also able to reconstruct the full-field displacement distributions.However,this method was demonstrated only under a relatively simple loading coupling cases,involving uni-axial bending and warping torsion.The effectiveness of the method under more complex loading cases needs to be thoroughly investigated.In this study,more complex deformations under the coupling between bi-axial bending and warping torsion was decoupled using the method.The set of equations for deformation decoupling was established,and the reconstruction algorithm for bending and torsion deformation were utilized.The effectiveness and accuracy of the method was examined using a thin-walled channel beam,relying on analysis results of finite element analysis(FEA).In the analysis,the influence of the positions of the measurement of surface strain distributions on the reconstruction accuracy was discussed.Moreover,different levels of measurement noise were added to the axial strain values based on numerical method,and the noise resistance ability of the deformation reconstruction method was investigated systematically.According to the FEA results,the effectiveness and precision of the method in complex deformation decoupling and reconstruction were demonstrated.Moreover,the immunity of the method to measurement noise was proven to be considerably strong.Rui Lu Zhanjun Wu Qi Zhou Hao Xu 2019Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2019,13,3:1
5Use of 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm wavelength lasers for vascular cutting in a porcine model of liver and stomach bleeding显示文摘Objective The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(Nd:YAG) lasers for use in liver and gastroepiploic vessel vaporization and coagulation. Methods The effects of 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm Nd:YAG lasers were compared for gastroepiploic vessel hemostasis in porcine liver.Results The results were observed and measured under the same parameters and dose conditions. The 1.32-μm laser showed greater vaporization width and depth than the 1.06-μm laser. Both lasers controlled active bleeding. The coagulation band with the 1.32-μm laser was thinner than with the 1.06-μm laser, at nearly 3 mm. After cutting of 1-and 2-mm porcine vessels, no grossly visible bleeding was apparent. Intravascular thrombus was visible under the microscope. The length of vessel thrombosis in the experimental group was 2 mm and the diameter was 2 mm; the control group exhibited thrombi as 2.3–4.9 mm in length. 7Spatio-temporal variation prediction on Cd content in the rice grains from Northern Zhejiang Plain during 2014–2019 based on high-precision soil geochemical data显示文摘In recent years,Cadmium(Cd)pollution has been found in many soil geochemical surveys in Northern Zhejiang Plain,a crucial rice production area in East China,located in the lower Yangtze River.To more scientifically predict the effect of soil Cd on rice safety,data including 348 local rhizosphere soil-rice samples obtained in 2014 were used in this study.Meanwhile,we extracted 90% of random samples as variables based on soil Cd content(Cd_(soil)),soil organic matter(SOM),pH,and other indicators.In addition,a multivariate linear model for rice Cd content(Cd_(rice))prediction based on the indicators including the soil Cd content(Cd_(soil)),the soil organic matter(SOM),and the pH value.The remaining 10%of random samples were used for the significance test.Based on the 2014 soil Cd content(Cd_(soil14))and the 2019 soil Cd content(Cd_(soil19)),this study predicted Cd content in 2019 rice grains(Cd_(p-rice19)).The spatio-temporal variation of Cdrice was contrasted in the five years from 2014 to 2019,and the risk areas of rice safety production were analyzed using the Geographical Information System(GIS).The results indicated that compared with the actual Cd content in 2014 rice grains(Cdrice14),the proportion of Cd_(p-rice19),which exceeded the standard food level in China(GB2762-2017),increased dramatically.Moreover,the high-value areas of Cdrice distributed greatly coincidentally in these two years.By contrast,both Cdrice and Cdsoil show very different spatial scales.The dominant reason is the distribution of the local canal systems,indicating that economic activities and agricultural irrigation may aggravate the risk of soil Cd pollution,thus threatening safe rice production.YIN Hanqin LU Xinzhe SUN Rui HUANG Chunlei KANG Zhanjun XU Mingxing WEI Yingchun CAI ZiHua 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,2:0
