1Construction of porous covalent organic polymer as photocatalysts for RhB degradation under visible light显示文摘In the present work,a novel porous,and chemically stable amine-based covalent organic polymer(POP-1) was designed and synthesized under solvothermal conditions.The porosity,crystallinity,chemical stability,electrochemical properties,and diffuse reflectance of POP-1 were investigated via N_2 sorption experiment,power X-ray diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis,cyclic voltammetry,and ultraviolet visible near infrared spectrometry,respectively.POP-1 exhibits good chemical stability in both acidic and alkaline aqueous solutions,as well as in organic solvents.Undoped POP-1 can be directly used as a photocatalyst for rhodamine B irradiation degradation under light-emitting diode and natural light.The E_a of POP-1 for RhB degradation is 82.37 kJ/mol.Furthermore,POP-1 can be reused as a catalyst in RhB degradation without degraded catalytic activity.Pingxiao Liu Lingbao Xing Hongtao Lin Haining Wang Ziyan Zhou Zhongmin Su 2017Science Bulletin2017,62,13:2

3Urban structure and the risk of influenza A(H1N1) outbreaks in municipal districts显示文摘Changsha was one of the most affected areas during the 2009 A(H1N1)influenza pandemic in China.Here,we analyze the spatial–temporal dynamics of the 2009 pandemic across Changsha municipal districts,evaluate the relationship between case incidence and the local urban spatial structure and predict high-risk areas of influenza A(H1N1).We obtained epidemiological data on all cases of influenza A(H1N1)reported across municipal districts in Changsha during period May 2009–December 2010 and data on population density and basic geographic characteristics for 239 primary schools,97 middle schools,347 universities,96 malls and markets,674 business districts and 121 hospitals.Spatial–temporal K functions,proximity models and logistic regression were used to analyze the spatial distribution pattern of influenza A(H1N1)incidence and the association between influenza A(H1N1)cases and spatial risk factors and predict the infection risks.We found that the 2009 influenza A(H1N1)was driven by a transmission wave from the center of the study area to surrounding areas and reported cases increased significantly after September 2009.We also found that the distribution of influenza A(H1N1)cases was associated with population density and the presence of nearest public places,especially universities(OR=10.166).The final predictive risk map based on the multivariate logistic analysis showed high-risk areas concentrated in the center areas of the study area associated with high population density.Our findings support the identification of spatial risk factors and highrisk areas to guide the prioritization of preventive and mitigation efforts against future influenza pandemics.Hong Xiao Xiaoling Lin Gerardo Chowell Cunrui Huang Lidong Gao Biyun Chen Zheng Wang Liang Zhou Xinguang He Haining Liu Xixing Zhang Huisuo Yang 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,5:1

12Sodium Abundances in Very Metal-poor Stars显示文摘Chemical composition of very metal-poor(VMP)stars can provide observational constraints on current models of nucleosynthesis and the chemical evolution of the Galaxy.It has been found that the scatter of[Na/Fe]versus[Fe/H]in VMP stars is very large in contrast with most other elements.Moreover,a negative slope in[Na/Fe]versus[Fe/H]was found for giants,which is very unlikely according to the theory of nucleosynthesis.For the sample of93 VMP stars in the metallicity range-4.25<[Fe/H]<-1.64 we obtained NLTE sodium abundances using the line profile fitting method by employing accurate atmospheric parameters determined when taking into account NLTE line formation for both FeⅠand FeⅡ.Originally selected from the LAMOST low-resolution spectral database,the spectra of stars were obtained with the High Dispersion Spectrograph of the Subaru Telescope.For 57turn-off stars in metallicity domain-3.04<[Fe/H]<-1.64,we obtained mean[Na/Fe]=-0.29±0.14 and positive slope 0.09±0.06.For 21 giants distributed over metallicity-3.59<[Fe/H]<-2.19,we found mean[Na/Fe]=-0.35±0.1 and positive slope 0.07±0.07.Our[Na/Fe]trend is lower by~0.2 dex,compared to the modern GCE model.We believe the GCE model should be adjusted,by considering the associated scatter.Twelve stars in our sample are found to be outliers,with too low or too high Na abundances.Yu-Fu Shen S.A.Alexeeva Gang Zhao Shuai Liu Zeming Zhou Hongliang Yan Haining Li Tianyi Chen Xiaodong Xu Huiling Chen Huawei Zhang Jianrong Shi 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,7:0
13Geographically Distinct Expression Profile of Host Defense Peptides in the Skin of the Chinese Odorous Frog, Odorrana margaretae显示文摘Odorrana margaretae(Anura: Ranidae) is widely distributed in the southern provinces of China. Previously, 72 antimicrobial peptides(AMPs) belonging to 21 families were identified from the skin of O. margaretae, which were captured in the Hunan province. In the present study, five O. margaretae frogs were captured from the Guizhou province and a total of 28 cDNAs encoding 17 host defense peptides(HDPs) belonging to 14 families were cloned from the skin cDNA library of O. margaretae. Among the 17 HDPs, only one(brevinin-1-Omar5) had been characterized. The distinct HDP expression profiles for O. margaretae in the previous and present study may be attributed to the environmental differences between the sampling locations and the genetic divergence among O. margaretae populations. Besides, 11 of the 17 HDPs identified in the present study were novel for ranids. In order to understand their roles in host defense reactions, three HDPs(odorranain-H-OM1, odorranain-M-OM and ranatuerin-2-OM), which possess low sequence similarity with the known amphibian HDPs, were selected for further chemical synthesis and functional analysis. Odorranain-H-OM1 showed direct antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi. Odorranain-M-OM exhibited concentration-dependent anti-oxidant activity. Ranatuerin-2-OM showed lectin-like activity and could strongly hemagglu-tinate human intact erythrocytes with or without the presence of Ca2+.
