1Development of a new high resolution waveform migration location method and its applications to induced seismicity显示文摘Locating seismic events is a central task for earthquake monitoring.Compared to arrival-based location methods,waveformbased location methods do not require picking phase arrivals and are more suitable for locating seismic events with noisy waveforms.Among waveform-based location methods,one approach is to stack different attributes of P and S waveforms around arrival times corresponding to potential event locations and origin times,and the maximum stacking values are assumed to indicate the correct event location and origin time.In this study,to obtain a high-resolution location image,we improve the waveform-based location method by applying a hybrid multiplicative imaging condition to characteristic functions of seismic waveforms.In our new stacking method,stations are divided into groups;characteristic functions of seismic waveforms recorded at stations in the same group are summed,and then multiplied among groups.We find that this approach can largely eliminate the cumulative effects of noise in the summation process and thus improve the resolution of location images.We test the new method and compare it to three other stacking methods,using both synthetic and real datasets that are related to induced seismicity occurring in petroleum/gas production.The test results confirm that the new stacking method can provide higher-resolution location images than those derived from currently used methods.SiYu Miao HaiJiang Zhang YuYang Tan Ye Lin 2021Earth and Planetary Physics2021,5,6:3

4Optical properties of Zn-diffused InP layers for the planar-type InGaAs/InP photodetectors显示文摘Zn diffusion into InP was carried out ex-situ using a new Zn diffusion technique with zinc phosphorus particles placed around InP materials as zinc source in a semi-closed chamber formed by a modified diffusion furnace.The optical characteristics of the Zn-diffused InP layer for the planar-type InGaAs/InP PIN photodetectors grown by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) has been investigated by photoluminescence(PL) measurements. The temperature-dependent PL spectrum of Zn-diffused InP samples at different diffusion temperatures showed that band-to-acceptor transition dominates the PL emission, which indicates that Zn was commendably diffused into InP layer as the acceptor. High quality Zn-diffused InP layer with typically smooth surface was obtained at 580 °C for 10 min. Furthermore, more interstitial Zn atoms were activated to act as acceptors after a rapid annealing process.Based on the above Zn-diffusion technique, a 50 μm planar-type InGaAs/InP PIN photodector device was fabricated and exhibited a low dark current of 7.73 pA under a reverse bias potential of.5 V and a high breakdown voltage of larger than 41 V(I < 10 μA). 5Full moment tensor inversion constrained by doublecouple focal mechanism for induced seismicity显示文摘In this study,we propose a new method to determine full moment tensor solution for induced seismicity.This method generalizes the full waveform matching algorithm we have developed to determine the double-couple(DC)focal mechanism based on the neighbourhood algorithm.One major difference between the new method and the former one is that we adopt a new misfit function to constrain the candidate moment tensor solutions with respect to a reference DC solution in addition to other misfit terms characterizing the waveform matching.Through synthetic tests using a real passive seismic survey geometry,the results show the new constraint can help better recover the DC components of inverted moment tensors.We further investigate how errors in the velocity model and source location affect the moment tensor solution.The synthetic test results indicate that the constrained inversion is robust in recovering both the DC and non-DC components.We also test the proposed method on several real induced events in an oil/gas field in Oman using the same observation system as synthetic tests.While it is found that the full moment tensor solutions without using the DC constraints have much larger non-DC components than solutions with the DC constraints,both solutions are able to fit the observed waveforms at similar levels.The synthetic and real test results suggest the proposed DC constrained inversion method can reliably retrieve full moment tensor solutions for the induced seismicity.Yuyang Tan Haijiang Zhang Junlun Li Chen Yin Furong Wu 2020Earthquake Science2020,33,4:0
6Characterization of the temperature and oxygen concentration field in a decentralized solid‑waste incinerator for villages and towns显示文摘Decentralized solid-waste incinerators(DSWIs)have certain advantages for waste disposal from villages and towns.However,the incineration condition is always affected by the distribution of temperature and oxygen concentration,which causes difficulties in operation and maintenance.In this study,the temperature and oxygen concentration distribution of DSWI were characterized using different air flow rates and bottom ash volumes.The results showed that the adjustment of air flow has no significant influence on the heating process of the DSWI,while the retention of bottom ash did affect the temperature and oxygen concentration fields in the furnace.When the air flow rate was increased without the retention of bottom ash,99%of the furnace volume temperature was observed between 780℃ and 800℃.However,once the bottom ash was retained,the whole furnace temperature was steadily maintained between 800℃ and 850℃.When the air flow rate was increased without bottom ash,the highest furnace volume percentage of oxygen concentrations higher than 3%maxed out at 11%volume,while it could reach 100%when bottom ash remained.The distribution of the temperature and oxygen concentration in the DSWI characterized by this research provides strong support for the operation and management of such systems.Dongsheng Shen Wenxiang Li Foqin Sun Shengqi Qi Hao Tan Chen Chen Yuyang Long 2022Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2022,4,1:0
7Construction of cobalt vacancies in cobalt telluride to induce fast ionic/electronic diffusion kinetics for lithium-ion half/full batteries显示文摘Designing novel electrode materials with unique structures is of great significance for improving the performance of lithium ion batteries(LIBs).Herein,copper-doped Co_(1-x)Te@nitrogen-doped carbon hollow nanoboxes(Cu-Co_(1-x)Te@NC HNBs)have been fabricated by chemical etching of Cu Co-ZIF nanoboxes,followed by a successive high-temperature tellurization process.The as-synthesized Cu-Co_(1-x)Te@NC HNBs composite demonstrated faster ionic and electronic diffusion kinetics than the pristine Co Te@NC HNBs electrode.The existence of Co-vacancy promotes the reduction of Gibbs free energy change(ΔG_(H^(*)))and effectively improves the Li~+diffusion coefficient.XPS and theoretical calculations show that performance improvement is ascribed to the electronic interactions between Cu-Co_(1-x)Te and nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)that trigger the shift of the p-band towards facilitation of interfacial charge transfer,which in turn helps boost up the lithium storage property.Besides,the proposed Cu-doping-induced Co-vacancy strategy can also be extended to other conversion-type cobalt-based material(CoSe_(2))in addition to asobtained Cu-Co_(1-x)Se_(2)@NC HNBs anodes for long-life and high-capacity LIBs.More importantly,the fabricated LiCoO_(2)//Cu-Co_(1-x)Te@NC HNBs full cell exhibits a high energy density of 403 Wh kg^(-1)and a power density of 6000 W kg^(-1).We show that the energy/power density reported herein is higher than that of previously studied cobalt-based anodes,indicating the potential application of Cu-Co_(1-x)Te@NC HNBs as a superior electrode material for LIBs.Lei Hu Lin Li Yuyang Zhang Xiaohong Tan Hao Yang Xiaoming Lin Yexiang Tong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32:0
8A novel aptasensor strategy for protein detection based on G-quadruplex and exonuclease Ⅲ-aided recycling amplification显示文摘The detection of biomarkers is of great significance in the diagnosis of numerous diseases,especially cancer.Herein,we developed a sensitive and universal fluorescent aptasensor strategy based on magnetic beads,DNA G-quadruplex,and exonuclease Ⅲ(Exo Ⅲ).In the presence of a target protein,a label-free single strand DNA(ssDNA)hybridized with the aptamer was released as a trigger DNA due to specific recognition between the aptamer and target.Subsequently,ssDNA initiates the ExoⅢ-aided recycling to amplify the fluorescence signal,which was caused by N-methylmesoporphyrin IX(NMM)insertion into the G-quadruplex structure.This proposed strategy combines the excellent specificity between the aptamer and target,high sensitivity of the fluorescence signal by G-quadruplex and ExoⅢ-aided recycling amplification.We selected(50-1200 nmol/L)MUC1,a common tumor biomarker,as the proof-of-concept target to test the specificity of our aptasenso r.Results reveal that the sensor sensitively and selectively detected the target protein with limits of detection(LODs)of 3.68 and 12.83 nmol/L in buffer solution and 10%serum system,respectively.The strategy can be easily applied to other targets by simply substituting corresponding aptamers and has great potential in the diagnosis and monitoring of several diseases.Huan Shi Tian Jin Jiewen Zhang Xiaoting Huang Chunyan Tan Yuyang Jiang Ying Tan 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,1:0
