| 1 | Association of emergency room visits for respiratory diseases with sources of ambient PM2.5显示文摘Previous studies have reported associations of short-term exposure to different sources of ambient fine particulate matter(PM2.5)and increased mortality or hospitalizations for respiratory diseases.Few studies,however,have focused on the short-term effects of source-specific PM2.5 on emergency room visits(ERVs)of respiratory diseases.Source apportionment for PM2.5 was performed with Positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)and generalized additive model was applied to estimate associations between source-specific PM2.5 and respiratory disease ERVs.The association of PM2.5 and total respiratory ERVs was found on lag4(RR=1.011,95%CI:1.002,1.020)per interquartile range(76μg/m3)increase.We found PM2.5 to be significantly associated with asthma,bronchitis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)ERVs,with the strongest effects on lag5(RR=1.072,95%CI:1.024,1.119),lag4(RR=1.104,95%CI:1.032,1.176)and lag3(RR=1.091,95%CI:1.047,1.135),respectively.The estimated effects of PM2.5 changed little after adjusting for different air pollutants.Six primary PM2.5 sources were identified using PMF analysis,including dust/soil(6.7%),industry emission(4.5%),secondary aerosols(30.3%),metal processing(3.2%),coal combustion(37.5%)and traffic-related source(17.8%).Some of the sources were identified to have effects on ERVs of total respiratory diseases(dust/soil,secondary aerosols,metal processing,coal combustion and traffic-related source),bronchitis ERVs(dust/soil)and COPD ERVs(traffic-related source,industry emission and secondary aerosols).Different sources of PM2.5 contribute to increased risk of respiratory ERVs to different extents,which may provide potential implications for the decision making of air quality related policies,rational emission control and public health welfare. | Rui Chi Hongyu Li Qian Wang Qiangrong Zhai Daidai Wang Meng Wu Qichen Liu Shaowei Wu Qingbian Ma Furong Deng Xinbiao Guo | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,12: | 8 |
| 2 | A 5D simulation method on post-earthquake repair process of buildings based on BIM显示文摘The post-earthquake repair process of buildings is one of the key components of building seismic resilience.Understanding the details of the repair process in advance will benefit the evaluation and decision making for the seismic resilience of buildings.To this end,a five-dimensional(5 D)simulation method on the post-earthquake repair process of buildings is proposed based on building information modeling(BIM),by which the repair activities can be presented in the way associated with a 3 D model,time(denoted as the fourth dimension),and the related costs(denoted as the fifth dimension).First,a decision-making model of repair schemes based on the interval index of the possibility degree is created to determine the optimal post-earthquake repair schemes for a damaged building.Subsequently,an algorithm based on separate flowrepetitive process is designed to automatically make the repair schedule on a BIM platform according to the determined repair schemes.Finally,an algorithm of automatic mapping between the components in BIM and their repair schedules is developed,so that a 5 D simulation of a post-earthquake repair process can be implemented.A six-story office building is selected as a case study,and the details of the post-earthquake repair process(e.g.,the costs of labor,material and equipment over the repair time)are presented by the proposed 5 D simulation method.The outcome of this study can be used to evaluate the seismic resilience of buildings and also to facilitate the decision making for seismically resilient buildings by providing the detailed guidance of the repair process. | Xu Zhen Zhang Furong Jin Wei Wu Yingying Qi Mingzhu Yang Yajun | 2020 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020,19,3: | 4 |
| 3 | Response of organic carbon burial to trophic level changes in a shallow eutrophic lake in SE China显示文摘Lakes are an important component of terrestrial carbon cycling. As the trend of eutrophication in many lakes continues, the mechanisms of organic carbon(OC) burial remain unclear. This paper aims to understand the distribution of OC and the effect of trophic level changes on OC burial in Chaohu Lake, a shallow eutrophic lake located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, SE China. Two hundred and one surface sediment samples(0–20 cm) and 53 subsurface samples(150–200 cm) from the lake were collected.The OC accumulation rates(OCARs) are relatively low, with an average of 10.01 g/m2/year in the surface sediments. The spatial distribution of the OCARs is similar to that of allochthonous OC. The difference in total phosphate(TP) content between the surface and subsurface sediments(ΔTP) is significantly correlated with the autochthonous OC,suggesting that TP loading is a critical limiting nutrient for the lake's primary productivity.It is concluded that allochthonous OC is the dominant source of total OC in surface sediments compared to autochthonous OC. The primary productivity of Lake Chaohu increased due to increasing nutrient loading. However, the autochthonous OC contributed11% of the total OC in the surface sediments. | 4 | Dysregulated ceramides metabolism by fatty acid 2-hydroxylase exposes a metabolic vulnerability to target cancer metastasis显示文摘Whereas it is appreciated that cancer cells rewire lipid metabolism to survive and propagate,the roles of lipid metabolism in metastasis remain largely unknown.In this study,using esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)as a pulmonary metastasis model,we find that the enzyme fatty acid 2-hydroxylase(FA2H),which catalyzes the hydroxylation of free fatty acids(FAs),is enriched in a subpopulation of ESCC cells with high metastatic potential,and that FA2H knockdown markedly mitigates metastatic lesions.Moreover,increased FA2H expression is positively associated with poor survival in patients with ESCC.Lipidomics analysis identifies that two dihydroceramides—Cer(d18:0/24:0)and Cer(d18:0/24:1)—are increased in FA2H-depleted metastasizing ESCC cells.Upon administration,Cer(d18:0/24:0)and Cer(d18:0/24:1)impair the formation of overt metastases in a mouse experimental metastasis model.Then,forkhead box protein C2(FOXC2)and FA2H are found to be co-upregulated in metastatic ESCC cell populations and ESCC specimens,and FA2H expression is further experimentally verified to be transcriptionally induced by FOXC2,which is boosted per se by tumour necrosis factorα(TNFα),a critical pro-metastasis cytokine in the tumour microenvironment,in metastasizing cells.Together,these results demonstrate that TNFα-FOXC2-FA2H is a novel signaling axis to promote metastasis,and its downstream dihydroceramide products could be promising drugs to intervene in metastasis. | Xuantong Zhou Furong Huang Gang Ma Wenqing Wei Nan Wu Zhihua Liu | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,11: | 2 |

| 6 | Cardiorespiratory Effects of Indoor Ozone Exposure Associated with Changes in Metabolic Profiles among Children:A Repeated-Measure Panel Study显示文摘Ozone is one of the major gaseous pollutants associated with short-term adverse cardiopulmonary effects,even at concentrations below the current indoor air quality limits.However,the underlying biological mechanisms of cardiorespiratory changes with exposure to ozone remain unclear.To further explore molecular linkages between indoor ozone exposure and relevant cardiorespiratory effects,a repeated-measure panel study including 46 schoolchildren was conducted and real-time exposure measurements including ozone were performed inside classrooms every weekday during the study period.Repeated health measurements and urine sample collection were conducted in each participant.Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry and meet-in-metabolite approach were used in metabolomics analysis.Methods including mixed-effect models were adopted to identify metabolites associated with ozone exposure or health indices.Nine metabolites were found to be associated with ozone after mixed-effect model analysis,which are mainly involved in amino acid and bile acid metabolism.Boys may have a greater decrease in bile acid and RNA related metabolites.Four of the nine ozone-related metabolites were also associated with cardiorespiratory function indices.Furthermore,26.67%of the positive association between ozone and heart rate was mediated by cholestane-3,7,12,25-tetrol-3-glucuronide.Exposure to ozone below the current indoor standards was associated with the deteriorated cardiovascular function by disturbing bile acid and endogenous nitric oxide-related oxidation and inflammation,and associated with the exacerbated airway inflammation by reducing GPx-related anti-oxidation.The results provide metabolic evidence of the cardiorespiratory effects of indoor ozone exposure.Indoor ozone pollution should be controlled further,and more attention should be paid to preventing its adverse health effects,especially in children. | Shan Liu Qingyu Huang Xi Zhang Wei Dong Wenlou Zhang Shaowei Wu Di Yang Bingru Nan Jie Zhang Heqing Shen Xinbiao Guo Furong Deng | 2021 | The Innovation2021,2,1: | 1 |

| 8 | Occurrence Characteristics of Saline-Lacustrine Shale-Oil in the Qianjiang Depression,Jianghan Basin,Central China显示文摘The amount of shale oil and its characterization are key issues in the study of shale oil.At present,many scholars use a variety of methods to evaluate the amount of shale oil,and use the calculated amount of hydrocarbons to analyze its influencing factors;however,there is lack of detailed research on the storage space for shale-oil and it’s influencing factors.In view of this issue,gas chromatography(GC),gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS),soxhlet extraction(SE),fieldemission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM),low-temperature nitrogen adsorption(LTNA),highpressure mercury intrusion(HPMI),and X-ray diffraction(XRD)were used to analyze and compare samples from two wells located in different deposition locations.The unconventional Well BYY2 and BX7 s were drilled in the depocenter and distal area of the Qianjiang Formation,respectively.Controlled by differences in the organic matter type and sedimentary environment,the organic matter in Well BYY2,which was found to be characterized by laminar shale,mainly originated from aquatic algae.The results showed that as the total organic carbon(TOC)content increased,the amount of shaleoil in the pores increased.Shale-oil was mostly stored in mesopores and macropores that had been preserved by dolomite minerals of a biogenic origin and also occurred in pores sized 5–200 nm and>1μm.Dolomite minerals of a biogenic origin and clay minerals contributed to the occurrence of shaleoil.In comparison,the organic matter in Well BX7 has been greatly influenced by terrestrial organic matter.Pores in the massive mudstones from Well BX7 were determined to be mainly mesopores preserved by clay minerals and quartz,and the shale-oil was mostly stored within the pores of<40 nm.When the TOC content was~2.5 wt.%,the generated shale-oil reached saturation.Clay minerals contributed to the occurrence of shale-oil,whereas quartz only contributed to the occurrence of shale-oil in macropores. | Zhongliang Sun Zhiliang He Furong Wang Yuanjia Han Sheng He Yuguang Hou Jing Luo Youheng Zheng Shiqiang Wu | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,4: | 1 |

| 10 | Programmable robotized‘transfer-and-jet’printing for large,3D curved electronics on complex surfaces显示文摘Large,3D curved electronics are a trend of the microelectronic industry due to their unique ability to conformally coexist with complex surfaces while retaining the electronic functions of 2D planar integrated circuit technologies.However,these curved electronics present great challenges to the fabrication processes.Here,we propose a reconfigurable,mask-free,conformal fabrication strategy with a robot-like system,called robotized‘transfer-and-jet’printing,to assemble diverse electronic devices on complex surfaces.This novel method is a ground-breaking advance with the unique capability to integrate rigid chips,flexible electronics,and conformal circuits on complex surfaces.Critically,each process,including transfer printing,inkjet printing,and plasma treating,are mask-free,digitalized,and programmable.The robotization techniques,including measurement,surface reconstruction and localization,and path programming,break through the fundamental constraints of 2D planar microfabrication in the context of geometric shape and size.The transfer printing begins with the laser lift-off of rigid chips or flexible electronics from donor substrates,which are then transferred onto a curved surface via a dexterous robotic palm.Then the robotic electrohydrodynamic printing directly writes submicrometer structures on the curved surface.Their permutation and combination allow versatile conformal microfabrication.Finally,robotized hybrid printing is utilized to successfully fabricate a conformal heater and antenna on a spherical surface and a flexible smart sensing skin on a winged model,where the curved circuit,flexible capacitive and piezoelectric sensor arrays,and rigid digital–analog conversion chips are assembled.Robotized hybrid printing is an innovative printing technology,enabling additive,noncontact and digital microfabrication for 3D curved electronics. | YongAn Huang Hao Wu Chen Zhu Wennan Xiong Furong Chen Lin Xiao Jianpeng Liu Kaixin Wang Huayang Li Dong Ye Yongqing Duan Jiankui Chen Hua Yang Wenlong Li Kun Bai Zhouping Yin Han Ding | 2021 | International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2021,3,4: | 1 |

| 13 | Multiomics approach reveals the ubiquitination-specific processes hijacked by SARS-CoV-2显示文摘The Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is a global pandemic that seriously threatens health and socioeconomic development,but the existed antiviral drugs and vaccines still cannot yet halt the spread of the epidemic.Therefore,a comprehensive and profound understanding of the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2 is urgently needed to explore effective therapeutic targets.Here,we conducted a multiomics study of SARS-CoV-2-infected lung epithelial cells,including transcriptomic,proteomic,and ubiquitinomic.Multiomics analysis showed that SARS-CoV-2-infected lung epithelial cells activated strong innate immune response,including interferon and inflammatory responses.Ubiquitinomic further reveals the underlying mechanism of SARS-CoV-2 disrupting the host innate immune response.In addition,SARS-CoV-2 proteins were found to be ubiquitinated during infection despite the fact that SARS-CoV-2 itself didn’t code any E3 ligase,and that ubiquitination at three sites on the Spike protein could significantly enhance viral infection.Further screening of the E3 ubiquitin ligases and deubiquitinating enzymes(DUBs)library revealed four E3 ligases influencing SARS-CoV-2 infection,thus providing several new antiviral targets.This multiomics combined with high-throughput screening study reveals that SARS-CoV-2 not only modulates innate immunity,but also promotes viral infection,by hijacking ubiquitination-specific processes,highlighting potential antiviral and anti-inflammation targets. | Gang Xu Yezi Wu Tongyang Xiao Furong Qi Lujie Fan Shengyuan Zhang Jian Zhou Yanhua He Xiang Gao Hongxiang Zeng Yunfei Li Zheng Zhang | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,10: | 1 |
