| 2 | Diversity characterization and association analysis of agronomic traits in a Chinese peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) mini-core collection显示文摘Association mapping is a powerful approach for exploring the molecular basis of phenotypic variations in plants.A peanut(Arachis hypogaea L.)mini-core collection in China comprising 298 accessions was genotyped using 109 simple sequence repeat(SSR)markers,which identified 554 SSR alleles and phenotyped for 15 agronomic traits in three different environments,exhibiting abundant genetic and phenotypic diversity within the panel.A model-based structure analysis assigned all accessions to three groups.Most of the accessions had the relative kinship of less than 0.05,indicating that there were no or weak relationships between accessions of the mini-core collection.For 15 agronomic traits in the peanut panel,generally the Q t K model exhibited the best performance to eliminate the false associated positives compared to the Q model and the general linear model-simple model.In total,89SSR alleles were identified to be associated with 15 agronomic traits of three environments by the Q t K model-based association analysis.Of these,eight alleles were repeatedly detected in two or three environments,and 15 alleles were commonly detected to be associated with multiple agronomic traits.Simple sequence repeat allelic effects confirmed significant differences between different genotypes of these repeatedly detected markers.Our results demonstrate the great potential of integrating the association analysis and marker-assisted breeding by utilizing the peanut mini-core collection. | Huifang Jiang Li Huang Xiaoping Ren Yuning Chen Xiaojing Zhou Youlin Xia Jiaquan Huang Yong Lei Liying Yan Liyun Wan Boshou Liao | 2014 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,2: | 14 |
| 3 | Neuroprotective effects of minocycline on focal cerebral ischemia injury: a systematic review显示文摘To review the neuroprotective effects of minocycline in focal cerebral ischemia in animal models.By searching in the databases of PubMed,ScienceDirect,and Scopus,and considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study.Studies were included if focal cerebral ischemia model was performed in mammals and including a control group that has been compared with a minocycline group.Written in languages other than English;duplicate data;in vitro studies and combination of minocycline with other neuroprotective agents were excluded.Neurological function of patients was assessed by National Institute of Health Stroke Scale,modified Rankin Scale,and modified Barthel Index.Neuroprotective effects were assessed by detecting the expression of inflammatory cytokines.We examined 35 papers concerning the protective effects of minocycline in focal cerebral ischemia in animal models and 6 clinical trials which had evaluated the neuroprotective effects of minocycline in ischemic stroke.These studies revealed that minocycline increases the viability of neurons and decreases the infarct volume following cerebral ischemia.The mechanisms that were reported in these studies included anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,as well as anti-apoptotic effects.Minocycline also increases the neuronal regeneration following cerebral ischemia.Minocycline has considerable neuroprotective effects against cerebral ischemia-induced neuronal damages.However,larger clinical trials may be required before using minocycline as a neuroprotective drug in ischemic stroke. | Yazdan Naderi Yunes Panahi George E. | 4 | Chemical characteristics of haze particles in Xi'an during Chinese Spring Festival: Impact of fireworks burning显示文摘Fireworks burning releases massive fine particles and gaseous pollutants, significantly deteriorating air quality during Chinese Lunar New Year(LNY) period. To investigate the impact of the fireworks burning on the atmospheric aerosol chemistry, 1-hr time resolution of PM_(2.5) samples in Xi'an during the winter of 2016 including the LNY were collected and detected for inorganic ions, acidity and liquid water content(LWC) of the fine aerosols. PM_(2.5) during the LNY was 167 ± 87 μg/m^3, two times higher than the China National Ambient Air Quality Standard(75 μg/m^3). K^+(28 wt.% of the total ion mass) was the most abundant ion in the LNY period, followed by SO_4^(2-)(25 wt.%) and Cl-(18 wt.%). In contrast, NO_3^-(34 wt.%) was the most abundant species in the haze periods(hourly PM32-2.5> 75 μg/m), followed by SO_4(29.2 wt.%) and NH_4^+(16.3 wt.%), while SO_4^(2-)(35 wt.%) was the most abundant species in the clean periods(hourly PM_(2.5)< 75 μg/m^3), followed by NO_3^-(23.1 wt.%) and NH_4^+(11 wt.%). Being different from the acidic nature in the non-LNY periods, aerosol in the LNY period presented an alkaline nature with a pH value of 7.8 ± 1.3. LWC during the LNY period showed a robust linear correlation with K_2SO_4 and KCl, suggesting that aerosol hygroscopicity was dominated by inorganic salts derived from fireworks burning. The cloud cavitation was treated as a homogeneous liquid-vapor mixture and the effects of turbulent eddy viscosity were reduced in cavitation regions near the hydrofoil and in the wake. The numerical results(in terms of the vapor shedding structure and transient pressure pulsation due to cavitation evolution) agree well with the available experimental data, showing the validity of the FBDCM method. Furthermore, the interaction of vortex and cavitation was analyzed based on the vorticity transport equation, revealing that the cavitation evolution has a strong connection with vortex dynamics. | 9 | Image formation of brain function in patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis treated with moxibustion显示文摘OBJECTIVES:Functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) technology was used to study changes to the resting state blood flow in the brains of patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA) before and after treatment with moxibustion at the acupoint of the left Dubi(ST 35) and to probe the cerebral mechanism underlying the effect of moxibustion.METHODS:The resting state brain function of 30 patients with left KOA was scanned with fMRI before and after treatment with moxibustion.The analytic methods of fractional amplitude of low frequency fluctuation(fALFF) and regional homogeneity(ReHo) were used to observe changes in resting state brain function.RESULTS:The fALFF values of the right cerebrum,extra-nucleus,left cerebellum,left cerebrum and white matter of patients after moxibustion treatment were higher than before treatment,and the fALFF values of the precentral gyrus,frontal lobe and occipital lobe were lower than before treatment(P<0.05,K≥85).The ReHo values of the thalamus,extra-nucleus and parietal lobe of patients were much higher than those before moxibustion treatment,and the ReHo values of the right cerebrum,left cerebrum and frontal lobe were lower than before treatment(P<0.05,K≥85).CONCLUSION:The influence of moxibustion on obvious changes in brain regions basically conforms to the way that pain and warmth is transmitted in the body,and the activation of sensitive systems in the body may be objective evidence of channel transmission.The regulation of brain function by moxibustion is not in a single brain region but rather in a network of many brain regions. | Hongwu Xie Fangming Xu Rixin Chen Tianyou Luo Mingren Chen Weidong Fang Fajin Lü Fei Wu Yune Song Jun Xiong | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2: | 7 |

| 11 | Correlation between muscular strength and basal nuclei ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke-induced corticospinal tract injury,as detected by diffusion tensor imaging and tractography显示文摘BACKGROUND:Conventional neuroimaging diagnosis does not assist with the monitoring or evaluation of basal nuclei ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke,or motor functional recovery.Magnetic resonance,diffusion tensor imaging,and diffusion tensor tractography have all been used to observe features of cerebral white matter fibrous structures.In addition,diffusion tensor tractography is the only non-invasive imaging method to display the corticospinal tract in vivo.OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the impairment degree of corticospinal tract induced by basal nuclei ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke through the use of magnetic resonance,diffusion tensor imaging,and diffusion tensor tractography,and to analyze the correlation to muscular strength.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A retrospective case analysis was performed at the Department of Medical Imaging,Neurology and Neurosurgery,Fuzhou General Hospital of Nanjing Military Area Command of Chinese PLA between November 2002 and June 2008.PARTICIPANTS:A total of 15 patients with acute or subacute cerebral ischemic stroke and nine with hemorrhagic stroke in the basal nuclei were selected.METHODS:Magnetic resonance,diffusion tensor imaging,and diffusion tensor tractography results and data were analyzed.Fractional anisotropy and directionally encoded color maps were obtained.Three-dimensional tractography of bilateral corticospinal tract was created,and corticospinal tract integrity was graded.Fractional anisotropy of infarct region and corresponding contralateral normal regions were measured,and hematoma volume in hemorrhagic stroke patients was determined.Hand motor function ability was evaluated using Brunstorm criteria.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Fractional anisotropy of infarct region and corresponding contralateral normal regions;hematoma volume in hemorrhagic stroke patients;correlation between muscular strength and corticospinal tract impairment degree in ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke patients before and after treatment.RESULTS:In ischemic stroke patients,the fractional anisotropy value was significantly lower in the infarct area of white matter than in the normal hemisphere(P < 0.01).The impairment degree of corticospinal tract negatively correlated with muscular strength of the corresponding hand(r =-0.97 P < 0.01).The hematoma volume of hemorrhagic stroke patients significantly negatively correlated with Spearman test results for muscular strength of the corresponding hand(r =-0.88,P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:Corticospinal tract impairment severity negatively correlated with muscular strength and motor functional recovery,which suggested that diffusion tensor imaging and diffusion tensor tractography could be used to evaluate corticospinal tract motor function. | Shangwen Xu Ziqian Chen Jinhua Chen Youqiang Ye Yuning Lin Ping Ni Hui Xiao Gennian Qian | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,13: | 7 |
| 12 | Spatiotemporal simulation and predication of heavy metal(loid) concentrations in coal chemical industrial areas with a soil environmental capacity model显示文摘Heavy metal (loid)(HM) accumulation in the soil and the HM spatiotemporal distribution have important implication for soil pollution prevention and remediation. The present study investigated the concentrations and spatiotemporal distributions of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), chromium (Cr) and arsenic (As) in the topsoil of a coal chemical plant in Ningxia Aulonomous region (Ningxia), China. Topsoil samples (/?= 153) were obtained using the checkerboard method, and the HM concentrations were determined. The soil residual rates of the five HMs were measured with leaching experinients and were applied in a soil environmental capacity model to predict the quarHitiHive variation of the HM concentrations. The predicted results were employed to estimate the HM spatiotemporal distribution within 2() years with the Kriging technique. The number of sampling sites, where all five HM concentratio ns exceed their corresponding background values in Ningxia, would be increased from 0 to 90% within 1() years of the plant operation. In addition, Pb and Cd were distributed along the traffic routes. Mercury and As were distributed near fuel gas emission vents. Chromium was mainly accumulated in slag dumps. | 13 | Molecular Characterization of Avian-like H1N1 Swine Influenza A Viruses Isolated in Eastern China, 2011显示文摘Currently, three predominant subtypes of influenza virus are prevalent in pig populations worldwide: H1N1, H3N2, and H1N2. European avian-like H1N1 viruses, which were initially detected in European pig populations in 1979, have been circulating in pigs in eastern China since 2007. In this study, six influenza A viruses were isolated from 60 swine lung samples collected from January to April 2011 in eastern China. Based on whole genome sequencing, molecular characteristics of two isolates were determined. Phylogenetic analysis showed the eight genes of the two isolates were closely related to those of the avian-like H1N1 viruses circulating in pig populations, especially similar to those found in China. Four potential glycosylation sites were observed at positions 13, 26, 198, 277 in the HA1 proteins of the two isolates. Due to the presence of a stop codon at codon 12, the isolates contained truncated PB1-F2 proteins. In this study, the isolates contained 591Q, 627E and 701N in the polymerase subunit PB2, which had been shown to be determinants of virulence and host adaptation. The isolates also had a D rather than E at position 92 of the NS1, a marker of mammalian adaptation. Both isolates contained the GPKV motif at the PDZ ligand domain of the 3' end of the NS1, a characteristic marker of the European avian-like swine viruses since about 1999, which is distinct from those of avian, human and classical swine viruses. The M2 proteins of the isolates have the mutation (S31N), a characteristic marker of the European avian-like swine viruses since about 1987, which may confer resistance to amantadine and rimantadine antivirals. | 14 | Self-Healing,Self-Adhesive and Stable Organohydrogel-Based Stretchable Oxygen Sensor with High Performance at Room Temperature显示文摘With the advent of the 5G era and the rise of the Internet of Things,various sensors have received unprecedented attention,especially wearable and stretchable sensors in the healthcare field.Here,a stretchable,self-healable,self-adhesive,and room-temperature oxygen sensor with excellent repeatability,a full concentration detection range(0-100%),low theoretical limit of detection(5.7 ppm),high sensitivity(0.2%/ppm),good linearity,excellent temperature,and humidity tolerances is fabricated by using polyacrylamide-chitosan(PAM-CS)double network(DN)organohydrogel as a novel transducing material.The PAM-CS DN organohydrogel is transformed from the PAM-CS composite hydrogel using a facile soaking and solvent replacement strategy.Compared with the pristine hydrogel,the DN organohydrogel displays greatly enhanced mechanical strength,moisture retention,freezing resistance,and sensitivity to oxygen.Notably,applying the tensile strain improves both the sensitivity and response speed of the organohydrogel-based oxygen sensor.Furthermore,the response to the same concentration of oxygen before and after self-healing is basically the same.Importantly,we propose an electrochemical reaction mechanism to explain the positive current shift of the oxygen sensor and corroborate this sensing mechanism through rationally designed experiments.The organohydrogel oxygen sensor is used to monitor human respiration in real-time,verifying the feasibility of its practical application.This work provides ideas for fabricating more stretchable,self-healable,self-adhesive,and high-performance gas sensors using ion-conducting organohydrogels. | Yuning Liang Zixuan Wu Yaoming Wei Qiongling Ding Meital Zilberman Kai Tao Xi Xie Jin Wu | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,3: | 5 |
| 15 | Humidity Sensing of Stretchable and Transparent Hydrogel Films for Wireless Respiration Monitoring显示文摘Respiratory monitoring plays a pivotal role in health assessment and provides an important application prospect for flexible humidity sensors.However,traditional humidity sensors suffer from a trade-off between deformability,sensitivity,and transparency,and thus the development of high-performance,stretchable,and low-cost humidity sensors is urgently needed as wearable electronics.Here,ultrasensitive,highly deformable,and transparent humidity sensors are fabricated based on cost-effective polyacrylamide-based double network hydrogels.Concomitantly,a general method for preparing hydrogel films with controllable thickness is proposed to boost the sensitivity of hydrogel-based sensors due to the extensively increased specific surface area,which can be applied to different polymer networks and facilitate the development of flexible integrated electronics.In addition,sustainable tapioca rich in hydrophilic polar groups is introduced for the first time as a second cross-linked network,exhibiting excellent water adsorption capacity.Through the synergistic optimization of structure and composition,the obtained hydrogel film exhibits an ultrahigh sensitivity of 13,462.1%/%RH,which is unprecedented.Moreover,the hydrogel film-based sensor exhibits excellent repeatability and the ability to work normally under stretching with even enhanced sensitivity.As a proof of concept,we integrate the stretchable sensor with a specially designed wireless circuit and mask to fabricate a wireless respiratory interruption detection system with Bluetooth transmission,enabling real-time monitoring of human health status.This work provides a general strategy to construct high-performance,stretchable,and miniaturized hydrogel-based sensors as next-generation wearable devices for real-time monitoring of various physiological signals. | Yuning Liang Qiongling Ding Hao Wang Zixuan Wu Jianye Li Zhenyi Li Kai Tao Xuchun Gui Jin Wu | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,11: | 5 |
| 16 | Efficacy and safety of Aloe vera syrup for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease: a pilot randomized positive-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the use of Aloe vera(A.vera) for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) symptoms and compare its effects with those of omeprazole and ranitidine.METHODS: In this pilot, randomized controlled trial, 79 subjects were allocated to A. vera syrup(standardized to 5.0 mg polysaccharide per m L of syrup)at a dose of 10 m L/d, omeprazole capsule(20 g/d)or ranitidine tablet(150 mg in a fasted state in the morning and 150 mg 30 min before sleep at night)for a period of 4 weeks. | 19 | Dynamic leakage mechanism of gas drainage borehole and engineering application显示文摘Borehole leakage not only affects the gas drainage effect but also presents considerable risk to human security. For the research on the leakage mechanism of gas drainage borehole, the rheological and visco-elastic-plastic characteristics were considered to establish the mechanical model of coal mass around borehole, which is used to analyze the leakage mechanism and deduce the dynamic leakage model. On the basis of the real coal seam conditions, the variation rules of the stress, leakage ring, and air leakage amount were analyzed through numerical simulation, and the influence factors of air leakage amount were also investigated to provide the theoretical basis for the sealing technology. Results show that the air leakage amount of borehole is inversely proportional to the increase in supporting stress and sealing length, and directly correlated with the increase in borehole radius and softening modulus. Using theoretical analysis, we design a novel active supporting sealing technology that can use grouting material to seal the fractures to reduce the leakage channels and also provide supporting stress to prevent borehole deformation. The engineering test results indicate that the average gas concentration with the novel active supporting sealing technology is increased by 162.12% than that of traditional polyurethane sealing method. | 20 | Production and emission of phosphine gas from wetland ecosystems显示文摘Phosphine is a part of an atmospheric link of phosphorus cycle on earth, which could be an important pathway for phosphorus transport in environment.Wetland ecosystems are important locations for global biogeochemical phosphorus cycle.In this study, production and emission fluxes of free phosphine from four wetlands types in southern China were observed in different seasons.The results showed that the concentration of phosphine liberated from wetlands was at pg/m3-ng/m3 level.The emission concentrations of different wetlands followed the sequence:paddy field(51.83 ± 3.06) ng/m3 marsh(46.54 ± 20.55) ng/m3 > lake(37.05 ± 22.74) ng/m3 coastal wetland(1.71 ± 0.73) ng/m3, the positive phosphine emission flux occurred in rice paddy field(6.67 ± 5.18) ng/(m2·hr) and marsh(6.23 ± 26.9) ng/(m2·hr), while a negative phosphine flux of(-13.11 ± 35.04) ng/(m2·hr) was observed on the water-air interface of Lake Taihu, suggesting that paddy field and marsh may be important sources for phosphine gas in atmosphere, while lake may be a sink of atmospheric phosphine gas during the sampling period.Atmospheric phosphine levels and emission flux from Yancheng marsh and rice paddy field varied in different seasons and vegetational zones.Both diffusion resistance in aqueous phase and temperature were dominating factors for the production and transportation of phosphine to atmosphere. | Chao Han Xueyuan Gu Jinju Geng Yuning Hong Rui Zhang Xiaorong Wang Shixiang Gao | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,9: | 5 |
