| 2 | In Situ Stress Measurements in the Lhasa Terrane,Tibetan Plateau,China显示文摘Tectonic activities are frequent in the Lhasa terrane because of the ongoing collision between the India and Eurasia plates. Knowledge of the stress state is critical to evaluate the crustal stability and the design of underground excavations. Because of the limitations imposed by natural conditions,little research has been performed on the present crustal in situ stress in the Tibetan Plateau,and further study is imperative. In this study,hydraulic fracturing measurements were conducted in Nyching County(LZX) and Lang County(LX),Lhasa terrane to characterize the shallow crustal stress state. The results indicate that the stress state in the LZX borehole is markedly different from that in the LX borehole,in both magnitude and orientation. At the same measurement depths,the magnitudes of horizontal principal stresses in the LX borehole are 1.5–3.0 times larger than those in the LZX borehole. The stress regime in the LX borehole favors reverse faulting characterized by SH>Sh>Sv,where SH,Sh,and Sv are maximum horizontal,minimum horizontal,and vertical principal stresses,respectively. The SH and Sh values are approximately three and two times greater than Sv. Fracture impression results reveal that SH in the LX borehole are predominantly N–S,while in the LZX borehole the maximum horizontal principal stress is mainly in the NNE-direction. The heterogeneity of the regional stress state might be a result of the population and distribution of local structures and seismic activities. The stress state in the LX borehole has exceeded the critical state of failure equilibrium,and there is an optimally orientated pre-existing fault near the borehole. It can be concluded that the optimally orientated fault is likely to be active when the stress has built up sufficiently to destroy the frictional equilibrium; it is suggested that research focus should be placed on this in future. | 3 | Joint Task Scheduling, Resource Allocation, and UAV Trajectory under Clustering for FANETs显示文摘This paper establishes a new layered flying ad hoc networks(FANETs) system of mobile edge computing(MEC) supported by multiple UAVs,where the first layer of user UAVs can perform tasks such as area coverage, and the second layer of MEC UAVs are deployed as flying MEC sever for user UAVs with computing-intensive tasks. In this system, we first divide the user UAVs into multiple clusters, and transmit the tasks of the cluster members(CMs) within a cluster to its cluster head(CH). Then, we need to determine whether each CH’ tasks are executed locally or offloaded to one of the MEC UAVs for remote execution(i.e., task scheduling), and how much resources should be allocated to each CH(i.e., resource allocation), as well as the trajectories of all MEC UAVs.We formulate an optimization problem with the aim of minimizing the overall energy consumption of all user UAVs, under the constraints of task completion deadline and computing resource, which is a mixed integer non-convex problem and hard to solve. We propose an iterative algorithm by applying block coordinate descent methods. To be specific, the task scheduling between CH UAVs and MEC UAVs, computing resource allocation, and MEC UAV trajectory are alternately optimized in each iteration. For the joint task scheduling and computing resource allocation subproblem and MEC UAV trajectory subproblem, we employ branch and bound method and continuous convex approximation technique to solve them,respectively. | 11 | Construction of spontaneously polarized ceramic via synergistic mechanical activation-Biomimetic mineralization for activating air and water显示文摘Spontaneously polarized crystals with intrinsic electric dipole moment have attracted immense interest as excellent functional materials for extensive applications.It is of great significance to engineer sustainable spontaneously polarized materials with fascinating characteristics and performance for activating air and water.Herein,a novel strategy based on the synergy of mechanical activation(MA)and biomimetic mineralization(BM)was created to construct spontaneously polarized ceramic.MA induced the structural damage of clay and promoted the dissolution of ions and the release of free proteins,contributing to the formation of silicate precursor in BM process.After high temperature firing,the silicate precursor in clay was converted to form KCa_(3)AlCa_(3)Si_(4)O_(16)(hexagonal crystal system,L^(6)symmetry type,and P63 space group)in the resulting spontaneously polarized ceramic.The non-centrosymmetric structure of KCa_(3)AlCa_(3)Si4O_(16)and the high intrinsic electric dipole moments contributed by K(1)polyhedrons resulted in high spontaneous polarization(0.2322μC/cm^(2))and far-infrared emissivity(0.951)of spontaneously polarized ceramic.In air,spontaneously polarized ceramic can activate H_(2)O and O_(2)molecules to form negative air ions owing to surface electric field.In water,spontaneously polarized ceramic can disaggregate large water clusters to form small water clusters ascribed to surface electric field and far-infrared emission;water pH can be regulated from weak acidity to approximate neutrality via the capture of electrons by H+ions to produce releasable hydrogen gas.This work provides great promise for rational design and synthesis of spontaneously polarized materials for functional applications. | Wuxiang Zhang Hongguang Zhang Ying Zhu Zuqiang Huang Yanjuan Zhang Tao Gan Huayu Hu Yuben Qin | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,34: | 0 |
| 12 | Late Quaternary Activity and Strong Earthquake Recurrence Interval along the North Segment of the Longling-Ruili Fault显示文摘According to field investigation and interpretation of remote sensing images,the north segment of the Longling-Ruili fault is a Holocene dextral strike-slip fault with a small amount of normal faulting.Based on large-scale geological mapping at some typical locations and quantitative geomorphologic deformation measurement and dating analysis,this fault is a Holocene active fault.The strike-slip rate of the Longling-Ruili fault is 2.2 ~2.5mm / a and vertical slip rate is 0.6mm /a since the late Pleistocene epoch.The strike-slip rate of the Longling-Ruili fault is 1.8~3.0mm /a and vertical slip rate is 0.5mm /a since the Holocene epoch.Based on the Poisson model,lognormal model and BPT model,the occurrence probability of strong earthquakes in 50 years is estimated to be 6.32%,0.08%and 0.05%,respectively.Then,a 1.82% probability of occurrence of characteristic earthquake for the north segment of the Longling-Ruili fault is obtained by setting a weight of 0.28,0.36 and 0.36 to the Poisson model,lognormal model and BPT model,respectively. | Du Yi Zhang Xiaoliang Huang Xuemeng Du Yuben Xie Furen | 2013 | Earthquake Research in China2013,27,3: | 0 |
