1The role of chemosensory protein 10 in the detection of behaviorally active compounds in brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens显示文摘Chemosensory proteins(CSPs)play important roles in insects’chemoreception,although their specific functional roles have not been fully elucidated.In this study,we conducted the developmental expression patterns and competitive binding assay as well as knock‐down assay by RNA interference both in vitro and in vivo to reveal the function of NlugCSP10 from the brown planthopper(BPH),Nilaparvata lugens(Stål),a major pest in rice plants.The results showed that NlugCSP10 messenger RNA was significantly higher in males than in females and correlated to gender,development and wing forms.The fluorescence binding assays revealed that NlugCSP10 exhibited the highest binding affinity with cis‐3‐hexenyl acetate,eicosane,and(+)‐β‐pinene.Behavioral assay revealed that eicosane displayed attractant activity,while cis‐3‐hexenyl acetate,similar to(+)‐β‐pinene significantly repelled N.lugens adults.Silencing of NlugCSP10,which is responsible for cis‐3‐hexenyl acetate binding,significantly disrupted cis‐3‐hexenyl acetate communication.Overall,findings of the present study showed that NlugCSP10 could selectively interrelate with numerous volatiles emitted from host plants and these ligands could be designated to develop slow‐release mediators that attract/repel N.lugens and subsequently improve the exploration of plans to control this insect pest.Muhammad Irfan Waris Aneela Younas Muhammad Muzammal Adeel Shuang-Gang Duan Sundas Rana Quershi Rana Muhammad Kaleem Ullah Man-Qun Wang 2020Insect Science2020,27,3:9

4Connective tissue growth factor expression hints at aggressive nature of colorectal cancer显示文摘BACKGROUND Connective tissue growth factor(CTGF)is a mediator of transforming growth factor-beta signaling and plays a key role in connective tissue remodeling,inflammatory processes and fibrosis in various illnesses including cancer.AIM To investigate the role of CTGF in colorectal cancer(CRC)progression and to compare the CTGF expression with different clinicopathological parameters.METHODS Real-time polymerase chain reaction,immunohistochemistry and Western blotting was performed to evaluate the CTGF expression and the results were statistically analyzed against the clinicopathological variables of patient data using STATA software version 16.RESULTS CTGF expression levels in tumor specimens were significantly higher than their paired normal specimens.The higher protein expression levels showed a significant association with smoking,staging,tumor grade,invasion depth,necrosis of tumor tissue,and both lymphovascular and perineural invasion.As per the cox regression model and classification tree analysis,tumor-nodemetastasis stage and perineural invasion were important predictors for CTGF expression and prognosis of CRC patients.Survival analysis indicated that CTGF overexpression was associated with poorer overall and disease-free survival.CONCLUSION Expression of CTGF was increased in CRC and was linked with poor overall and disease-free survival of CRC patients.These findings support prior observations and thus CTGF may be a possible prognostic marker in CRC.Ishrat Parveiz Bhat Tahseen Bilal Rather Irfan Maqbool Gowhar Rashid Kulsum Akhtar Gulzar A Bhat Fazl Q Parray Besina Syed Ishrat Younas Khan Mohsin Kazi Muhammad D Hussain Mudassar Syed 2022World Journal of Gastroenterology2022,28,5:1

6Appraisal of MsepCSP14 for chemosensory functions in Mythimna separata显示文摘Chemosensory proteins (CSPs) have great contributions in performing diverse functions in insects. However, physiological appraisal of chemosensory protein genes still remains elusive in insects. We studied expression patterns and binding affinities of MsepCSP14, a chemosensory protein, in Mythimna separata. The distinct functions of MsepCSP14 were validated by employing different molecular techniques. The MsepCSP14 had high resemblance of sequence with chemosensory proteins of other insect family members. The MsepCSP14 expression was higher in antennal tissues of females than other tissues. Fluorescence binding assay validated that binding of nine out of 21 ligands to MsepCSP14 was higher at pH 7.4 than at pH 5.0. Three dimensional modeling (3D) and docking analysis predicted that amino acid residues of MsepCSP14 were involved in binding of compounds, and behavior assay displayed that adults of M. separata considerably responded to four volatiles from compounds demonstrating strong binding ability to MsepCSP14. Numerical results are obtained for solving the nonlinear governing momentum, energy and concentration equations with slip boundary condition, ramped wall temperature and ramped wall concentration on the surface of the vertical plate. 13An Abstractive Summarization Technique with Variable Length Keywords as per Document Diversity显示文摘Text Summarization is an essential area in text mining,which has procedures for text extraction.In natural language processing,text summarization maps the documents to a representative set of descriptive words.Therefore,the objective of text extraction is to attain reduced expressive contents from the text documents.Text summarization has two main areas such as abstractive,and extractive summarization.Extractive text summarization has further two approaches,in which the first approach applies the sentence score algorithm,and the second approach follows the word embedding principles.All such text extractions have limitations in providing the basic theme of the underlying documents.In this paper,we have employed text summarization by TF-IDF with PageRank keywords,sentence score algorithm,and Word2Vec word embedding.The study compared these forms of the text summarizations with the actual text,by calculating cosine similarities.Furthermore,TF-IDF based PageRank keywords are extracted from the other two extractive summarizations.An intersection over these three types of TD-IDF keywords to generate the more representative set of keywords for each text document is performed.This technique generates variable-length keywords as per document diversity instead of selecting fixedlength keywords for each document.This form of abstractive summarization improves metadata similarity to the original text compared to all other forms of summarized text.It also solves the issue of deciding the number of representative keywords for a specific text document.To evaluate the technique,the study used a sample of more than eighteen hundred text documents.The abstractive summarization follows the principles of deep learning to create uniform similarity of extracted words with actual text and all other forms of text summarization.The proposed technique provides a stable measure of similarity as compared to existing forms of text summarization.Muhammad Yahya Saeed Muhammad Awais Muhammad Younas Muhammad Arif Shah Atif Khan M.Irfan Uddin Marwan Mahmoud 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,3:0
14Molecular and in vitro biochemical assessment of chemosensory protein 10 from brown planthopper Nilaparvata lugens at acidic pH显示文摘Chemosensory proteins(CSPs)are important molecular components of the insect olfactory system,which are involved in capturing,binding,and transporting hydrophobic odour molecules across the sensillum in sensillar lymph in regulating insect behavior.This protein family(CSPs)is also involved in many other systems that are not linked to olfactory receptors in olfactory sensilla.The brown planthopper(BPH)is a monophagous pest of rice that causes damage by sucking phloem sap and transmitting a number of diseases caused by viruses.In this study,fluorescence competitive binding assay and fluorescence quenching assay at acidic p H were performed as well as homology modelling to describe the binding affinity of Nlug CSP10.Fluorescence competitive binding assay(FCBA)demonstrated that Nlug CSP10 bound strongly to nonadecane,farnesene,and 2-tridecanone at acidic p H.The results of FCBA indicated that Nlug CSP10 bound different ligands at the physiological p H(5.0)of the bulk sensillum lymph.Fluorescence quenching assay demonstrated that Nlug CSP10 generated a stable complex with 2-tridecanone,while two ligands nonadecane and farnesene collided due to molecular collisions.The interaction of selected ligands with the modelled structure of Nlug CSP10 was also analyzed,which found the key amino acids(Gln23,Gln24,Gln25,Asn27,Met33,Ser34,Ile35,Tyr36,Asn42,Met43,Val45,Asn46,Asn93,Arg96,Ala97,Lys99,and Ala100)in Nlug CSP10 that were involved in binding of volatile compounds.The present study contributes to the binding profile of Nlug CSP10 that promotes the development of behaviorally active ligands based on BPH olfactory system.Muhammad Irfan WARIS Aneela YOUNAS Rana Muhammad Kaleem ULLAH Fatima RASOOL Muhammad Muzammal ADEEL WANG Man-qun 2022Journal of Integrative Agriculture2022,21,3:0
15Dynamics of exact soliton solutions to the coupled nonlinear system using reliable analytical mathematical approaches显示文摘Nonlinear Schrödinger-type equations are important models that have emerged from a wide variety of fields,such as fluids,nonlinear optics,the theory of deep-water waves,plasma physics,and so on.In this work,we obtain different soliton solutions to coupled nonlinear Schrödinger-type(CNLST)equations by applying three integration tools known as the(G’/G^(2))-expansion function method,the modified direct algebraic method(MDAM),and the generalized Kudryashov method.The soliton and other solutions obtained by these methods can be categorized as single(dark,singular),complex,and combined soliton solutions,as well as hyperbolic,plane wave,and trigonometric solutions with arbitrary parameters.The spectrum of the solitons is enumerated along with their existence criteria.Moreover,2D,3D,and contour profiles of the reported results are also plotted by choosing suitable values of the parameters involved,which makes it easier for researchers to comprehend the physical phenomena of the governing equation.The solutions acquired demonstrate that the proposed techniques are efficient,valuable,and straightforward when constructing new solutions for various types of nonlinear partial differential equation that have important applications in applied sciences and engineering.All the reported solutions are verified by substitution back into the original equation through the software package Mathematica.Muhammad Bilal Usman Younas Jingli Ren 2021Communications in Theoretical Physics2021,73,8:0

17A Quantum Spatial Graph Convolutional Network for Text Classification显示文摘The data generated from non-Euclidean domains and its graphical representation(with complex-relationship object interdependence)applications has observed an exponential growth.The sophistication of graph data has posed consequential obstacles to the existing machine learning algorithms.In this study,we have considered a revamped version of a semi-supervised learning algorithm for graph-structured data to address the issue of expanding deep learning approaches to represent the graph data.Additionally,the quantum information theory has been applied through Graph Neural Networks(GNNs)to generate Riemannian metrics in closed-form of several graph layers.In further,to pre-process the adjacency matrix of graphs,a new formulation is established to incorporate high order proximities.The proposed scheme has shown outstanding improvements to overcome the deficiencies in Graph Convolutional Network(GCN),particularly,the information loss and imprecise information representation with acceptable computational overhead.Moreover,the proposed Quantum Graph Convolutional Network(QGCN)has significantly strengthened the GCN on semi-supervised node classification tasks.In parallel,it expands the generalization process with a significant difference by making small random perturbationsG of the graph during the training process.The evaluation results are provided on three benchmark datasets,including Citeseer,Cora,and PubMed,that distinctly delineate the superiority of the proposed model in terms of computational accuracy against state-of-the-art GCN and three other methods based on the same algorithms in the existing literature.Syed Mustajar Ahmad Shah Hongwei Ge Sami Ahmed Haider Muhammad Irshad Sohail M.Noman Jehangir Arshad Asfandeyar Ahmad Talha Younas 2021Computer Systems Science & Engineering2021,36,2:0
18Automated Test Case Generation from Requirements: A Systematic Literature Review显示文摘Software testing is an important and cost intensive activity in software development.The major contribution in cost is due to test case generations.Requirement-based testing is an approach in which test cases are derivative from requirements without considering the implementation’s internal structure.Requirement-based testing includes functional and nonfunctional requirements.The objective of this study is to explore the approaches that generate test cases from requirements.A systematic literature review based on two research questions and extensive quality assessment criteria includes studies.The study identies 30 primary studies from 410 studies spanned from 2000 to 2018.The review’s nding shows that 53%of journal papers,42%of conference papers,and 5%of book chapters’address requirementsbased testing.Most of the studies use UML,activity,and use case diagrams for test case generation from requirements.One of the signicant lessons learned is that most software testing errors are traced back to errors in natural language requirements.A substantial amount of work focuses on UML diagrams for test case generations,which cannot capture all the system’s developed attributes.Furthermore,there is a lack of UML-based models that can generate test cases from natural language requirements by rening them in context.Coverage criteria indicate how efciently the testing has been performed 12.37%of studies use requirements coverage,20%of studies cover path coverage,and 17%study basic coverage.Ahmad Mustafa Wan M.N.Wan-Kadir Noraini Ibrahim Muhammad Arif Shah Muhammad Younas Atif Khan Mahdi Zareei Faisal Alanazi 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,5:0
