1Carbonyl emissions from heavy-duty diesel vehicle exhaust in China and the contribution to ozone formation potential显示文摘Fifteen heavy-duty diesel vehicles were tested on chassis dynamometer by using typical heavy duty driving cycle and fuel economy cycle. The air from the exhaust was sampled by 2,4-dinitrophenyhydrazine cartridge and 23 carbonyl compounds were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography. The average emission factor of carbonyls was 97.2 mg/km, higher than that of light-duty diesel vehicles and gasoline-powered vehicles. Formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acetone and propionaldehyde were the species with the highest emission factors. Main influencing factors for carbonyl emissions were vehicle type, average speed and regulated emission standard, and the impact of vehicle loading was not evident in this study. National emission of carbonyls from diesel vehicles exhaust was calculated for China, 2011, based on both vehicle miles traveled and fuel consumption. Carbonyl emission of diesel vehicle was estimated to be 45.8 Gg, and was comparable to gasolinepowered vehicles(58.4 Gg). The emissions of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and acetone were 12.6, 6.9, 3.8 Gg, respectively. 2The Homo sapiens Cave hominin site of Mulan Mountain,Jiangzhou District,Chongzuo,Guangxi with emphasis on its age显示文摘One of the most hotly debated and frontal issues in paleoanthropology focuses on the origins of modern humans. Recently, an incomplete hominin mandible with a distinctly weaker mental protuberance than modern human and a great variety of coexisting fossil mammals were unearthed from the Homo sapiens Cave of Mulan Mountain, Chongzuo, Guangxi. The mammalian fauna from the Homo sapiens Cave characterized by the combination of Elephas kiangnanensis, first occurring Elephas maixmus, and Megatapirus augustus, and strikingly different from the Early Pleistocene Gigantopithecus fauna and the Middle Pleistocene Ailuropoda-Stogodon fauna of South China could be regarded as an early representive of the typical Asian elephant fauna. Faunal analysis, biostratigraphic correlation, and, most importantly, U-series dating all consistently support an estimate of ca. 110 ka for the age of the fossil Homo sapiens and coexisting mammalian fauna, that is, the early Late Pleistocene. The fauna is mainly made up of tropical-subtropical elements, but grassland elements have a much greater variety than forest elements, which probably indicates a drier climate at that time. 3Distribution of stable carbon isotope in coalbed methane from the east margin of Ordos Basin显示文摘The commercial recovery of methane from coal is well established in the coalbed methane(CBM) blocks at the east margin of Ordos Basin, China. CBM forms with various carbon isotopic ratios(δ13CPDB) due to the carbon isotopic fractionation in biogenical or thermogenical processes. Based on the geologic evolution of coalbed reservoir and studies on the characteristics of δ13 CPDB values distributed spatially(e.g., horizontal CBM well location area, vertical coal burial zone, coal rank, etc.) and temporally(e.g., geologic evolution history), we explored the formation mechanism of carbon isotopic of methane. The relatively low δ13 CPDB values are widely distributed along the research area, indicating a trend of 'lighter-heavier-lighter' from north to south. From a combination analysis of the relationship between δ13 CPDB and the relative effects, the essential aspects in determining CBM carbon isotope being light in the study area are: the genesis of secondary biogas in the north; water soluble effects in the active hydrodynamic areas in the middle; desorption fractionation effect promoted by tectonic evolution in the south; and the sudden warming hydrocarbon fractionation accelerated by magmatic event in particular areas(e.g., Linxian).LI Yong TANG DaZhen FANG Yi XU Hao MENG YanJun 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,8:6
4Comparative Study of Trajectory Tracking Control for Automated Vehicles via Model Predictive Control and Robust H-infinity State Feedback Control显示文摘A comparative study of model predictive control(MPC)schemes and robust Hstate feedback control(RSC)method for trajectory tracking is proposed in this paper.The main objective of this paper is to compare MPC and RSC controllers’performance in tracking predefined trajectory under different scenarios.MPC controller is designed based on the simple longitudinal-yaw-lateral motions of a single-track vehicle with a linear tire,which is an approximation of the more realistic model of a vehicle with double-track motion with a non-linear tire mode.RSC is designed on the basis of the same method as adopted for the MPC controller to achieve a fair comparison.Then,three test cases are built in CarSim-Simulink joint platform.Specifically,the verification test is used to test the tracking accuracy of MPC and RSC controller under well road conditions.Besides,the double lane change test with low road adhesion is designed to find the maximum velocity that both controllers can carry out while guaranteeing stability.Furthermore,an extreme curve test is built where the road adhesion changes suddenly,in order to test the performance of both controllers under extreme conditions.Finally,the advantages and disadvantages of MPC and RSC under different scenarios are also discussed.Kai Yang Xiaolin Tang Yechen Qin Yanjun Huang Hong Wang Huayan Pu 2021Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,4:6

6Electro-conductive Nanocrystalline Cellulose Film Filled with TiO_2-ReducedGraphene Oxide Nanocomposite显示文摘Imparting electro-conductive properties to nanocellulosebased products may render them suitable for applications in electronics,optoelectronics, and energy storage devices. In the present work, an electroconductive nanocrystalline cellulose(NCC) film filled with TiO2-reducedgraphene oxide(TiO2-RGO) was developed. Initially, graphene oxide(GO) was prepared using the modified Hummers method and thereafter photocatalytically reduced using TiO2 as a catalyst. Subsequently, an electro-conductive NCC film was prepared via vacuum filtration with the as-prepared TiO2-RGO nanocomposite as a functional filler. The TiO2-RGO nanocomposite and the NCC/TiO2-RGO film were systematically characterized. The results showed that the obtained TiO2-RGO nanocomposite exhibited reduced oxygen-containing group content and enhanced electroconductivity as compared with those of GO. Moreover, the NCC film filled with TiO2-RGO nanocomposite displayed an electro-conductivity of up to 9.3 S/m and improved mechanical properties compared with that of the control. 8Hippocampus is more vulnerable to neural damages induced by repeated sevoflurane exposure in the second trimester than other brain areas显示文摘During the rapidly developing and sensitive period of the central nervous system (CNS), a harmful stimulus may have serious consequences. The effect of anesthetic exposure on the development of the offspring’s CNS during pregnancy is still unclear and has been widely concerned. In the present study, we compared the susceptibility of the hippocampus with those of other brain regions in offsprings when the mother mice were exposed to repeated sevoflurane. We found that other than affecting motor sensation, emotion, or social behavior of offspring mice, repeated sevoflurane exposure induced significant memory deficiency. Compared with other brain regions, the hippocampus, which is the key component of the brain serving for learning and memory, was more vulnerable to repeated sevoflurane exposure. We also found that repeated sevoflurane exposure to mother mice could inhibit the axon development of hippocampal neurons. We also predicted that N6-methyladenosine modification of mRNA might play an essential role in the vulnerability of the hippocampus to sevoflurane, while the underlying cellular mechanism needs to be explored in the future. 9Preparation and Characterization of Co_(3)O_(4)/Graphene/Cellulose Nanofiber Composite Films显示文摘Nanocellulose has served as an eye-catching nanomaterial for constructing advanced functional devices with renewability,light weight,flexibility,and environmental friendliness.In this study,Co_(3)O_(4)/graphene/cellulose nanofiber(CNF)flexible composite films,in which the CNF acted as a spacer for the graphene,were prepared via a facile and scalable vacuum filtration method.The effects of the CNF on the microstructure,hydrophilicity,thermal stability,tensile strength,surface resistance,and electrochemical performance of the Co_(3)O_(4)/graphene/CNF composite films were systematically investigated.The results showed that the synergistic interaction of the CNF and graphene substantially improved the overall properties of the Co_(3)O_(4)/graphene/CNF composite films,particularly their hydrophilicity and tensile strength.Meanwhile,Co_(3)O_(4)/graphene/CNF composite films with a CNF content of 4%appeared to have the optimal electrochemical performance,with an area specific capacitance of 56 mF/cm^(2) and prominent capacitance retention of 95.6%at a current density of 1 A/g after 1000 cycles.This work demonstrated that the prepared Co_(3)O_(4)/graphene/CNF flexible composite films have great application potential in the field of flexible energy storage devices.Zejun Ding Tianying Chen Yiming Zhou Peng Zhu Feiyun Li Yanjun Tang 2022Paper And Biomaterials2022,7,2:2
10Variation of fluxes of water vapor, sensible heat and carbon dioxide above winter wheat and maize canopies显示文摘Surface energy fluxes were measured using Bowen-Ratio Energy Balance technique (BREB) and eddy correlation system at Luancheng of Hebei Province, on the North China Plain from 1999 to 2001. Average diumal variation of surface energy fluxes and CO2 flux for maize showed the inverse 'U 'type. The average peak fluxes did not appear at noon, but after noon. The average peak CO2 flux was about 1.65 mgm-2 s-1. Crop water use efficiency (WUE) increased quickly in the morning, stabilized after 10:00 and decreased quickly after 15:00 with no evident peak value. The ratio of latent heat flux (λE) to net solar radiation (Rn) was always higher than 70% during winter wheat and maize seasons. The seasonal average ratio of sensible heat flux (H) divided by Rn stayed at about 15% above the field surface; the seasonal average ratio of conductive heat flux (G) divided by Rn varied between 5% and 13%, and the average G/Rn from the wheat canopy was evidently higher than that from the maize canopy. The evaporative fraction (EF) is correlated to the Bowen ratio in a reverse function. EF for winter wheat increased quickly during that revival stage, after the stage, it gradually stabilized to 1.0, and fluctuated around 1.0. 12Hyperactive PI3Kδ predisposes naive T cells to activation via aerobic glycolysis programs显示文摘Activated phosphoinositide 3-kinaseδsyndrome(APDS)is an autosomal-dominant combined immunodeficiency disorder resulting from pathogenic gain-of-function(GOF)mutations in the PIK3CD gene.Patients with APDS display abnormal T cell homeostasis.However,the mechanisms by which PIK3CD GOF contributes to this feature remain unknown.Here,with a cohort of children with PIK3CD GOF mutations from multiple regions of China and a corresponding CRISPR/Cas9 gene-edited mouse model,we reported that hyperactive PI3Kδdisrupted TNaive cell homeostasis in the periphery by intrinsically promoting the growth,proliferation,and activation of TNaive cells.Our results showed that PIK3CD GOF resulted in loss of the quiescence-associated gene expression profile in naive T cells and promoted naive T cells to overgrow,hyperproliferate and acquire an activated functional status.Naive PIK3CD GOF T cells exhibited an enhanced glycolytic capacity and reduced mitochondrial respiration in the resting or activated state.Blocking glycolysis abrogated the abnormal splenic T cell pool and reversed the overactivated phenotype induced by PIK3CD GOF in vivo and in vitro.These results suggest that enhanced aerobic glycolysis is required for PIK3CD GOF-induced overactivation of naive T cells and provide a potential therapeutic approach for targeting glycolysis to treat patients with APDS as well as other immune disorders.Yanjun Jia Qiuyun Yang Yanping Wang Wenyan Li Xuemei Chen Tao Xu Zhirui Tian Minxuan Feng Liang Zhang Wenjing Tang Na Tian Lina Zhou Wenxia Song Xiaodong Zhao 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,7:2
13Two Ultraviolet Radiation Datasets that Cover China显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has significant effects on ecosystems, environments, and human health, as well as atmospheric processes and climate change. Two ultraviolet radiation datasets are described in this paper. One contains hourly observations of UV radiation measured at 40 Chinese Ecosystem Research Network stations from 2005 to 2015. CUV3 broadband radiometers were used to observe the UV radiation, with an accuracy of 5%, which meets the World Meteorology Organization's measurement standards. The extremum method was used to control the quality of the measured datasets. The other dataset contains daily cumulative UV radiation estimates that were calculated using an all-sky estimation model combined with a hybrid model. The reconstructed daily UV radiation data span from 1961 to 2014. The mean absolute bias error and root-mean-square error are smaller than 30% at most stations, and most of the mean bias error values are negative, which indicates underestimation of the UV radiation intensity. These datasets can improve our basic knowledge of the spatial and temporal variations in UV radiation. 14Effect of the electro-acupuncture on senile plaques and its formation in APPD/PS1D double transgenic mice显示文摘Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a progressive neurodegenerative disease and its incidence will increase with age and is aggravating.The senile plaques(SPs)are one of three main pathological features in AD patients,which are formed by amyloid b-protein(Ab)overaccumulation.b-amyloid precursor protein(APP),b-site APP cleavage(BACE1),and insulin degrading enzyme(IDE)proteins participate in the process of Ab production and degradation.At present,the pathogenesis of AD is not yet clear and the current treatment methods can only relief the related symptoms of AD.The electro-acupuncture(EA)is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment combined the acupuncture and electrical stimulation and the treatment effect can also be controlled by transform the electrical frequency.Thus,in this experiment,we carried out behavioral test,immunohistochemistry(IHC),and Western Blot(WB)after different period treatments to the model mice by electro-acupuncturing“Baihui”and“Shenshu”acupoints in APPt/PS1t double transgenic mice.It was found that the EA therapy can improve the ability of learning,memory and spatial exploration,and reduce the deposition of SPs in brain of AD model mice,and reduce the expressions of APP and BACE1,increase the expression of IDE protein.These results prompt that EA can effectively alleviate the pathological process of AD.We speculate that EA may play a comprehensive role in preventing the development of AD,considering the previous data.Qinghua Yang Shujuan Zhu Jin Xu Chenglin Tang Kaihui Wu Yanjun Wu Yiying Wang Huajun Sheng 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,3:2
