2Reovirus,isolated from SARS patients显示文摘Beijing has been severely affected by SARS, and SARS-associated coronavirus has been confirmed as its cause. However, clinical and experimental evidence implicates the possibility of co-infection. In this report, reovirus was isolated from throat swabs of SARS patients, including the first case in Beijing and her mother. Identification with the electron microscopy revealed the characteristic features of reovirus. 24 of 38 samples from other SARS cases were found to have serologic responses to the reovirus. Primers designed for reovirus have amplified several fragments of DNA, one of which was sequenced (S2 gene fragment), which indicates it as a unique reovirus (orthoreovirus). Preliminary animal experiment showed that inoculation of the reovirus in mice caused death with atypical pneumonia. 3Effect of Phosphatization on Element Concentration of Cobalt-Rich Ferromanganese Crusts显示文摘A detailed study on a small scale of the effect of phosphatization on the chemistry of marine cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts supplies useful information for the evaluation and comprehensive utilization of crust mineral resources. Sub-samples from top to bottom of a 10-cm thick sample from the NW Pacific Magellan seamount were taken at 5 mm intervals. The concentration profiles of ore-forming and rare earth elements show that obvious differences exist between young unphosphatized crusts and old phosphatized crusts. In the old crusts Fe, Mn, Si, Al, Zn, Mg, Co, Ni and Cu elements are depleted and Ca, P, Sr, Ba and Pb elements are enriched. The order of depletion is Co > Ni > Mg > Al > Mn > Si> Cu > Zn > Fe, while the order of enrichment is P > Ca > Ba > Pb > Sr. The phosphate mineral controls the concentration variation of the ore-forming elements in crusts and causes loss of the main ore-forming elements such as Co and Ni. The phosphatization also affects the abundance of REEs in the crusts. REEs are more abundant and the content of Ce in old crusts is higher than that in young crusts, however, the pattern of REEs and their fractionation characteristics in new and old crusts are not fundamentally changed. 5A high over-potential binder-free electrode constructed of Prussian blue and MnO2 for high performance aqueous supercapacitors显示文摘Extending the potential window of aqueous supercapacitors (SCs) up to 2.0 V is still a great challenge.Based on their good dynamic structural reversibility and open framework structure,the coordination superamolecular networks (CSNs) exhibit rapid charge/discharge ability and excellent cycle stability.As a typical coordination superamolecular network (CSN),Prussian blue (denoted as CSN-PB),which self-assembled by the CN-ligand and iron ions is firstly in-situ grown on carbon cloth,followed by electro-deposition of MnO2 to form CSN-PB/MnO2 composite electrode.Benefiting from synergistic effect of the constituent components,as well as the open framework structure of CSN-PB,this composite electrode reaches a high potential window of 1.4 V (vs.Ag/AgCl) and delivers a good specific capacitance of 315.3 F·g^-1 in aqueous electrolyte.An aqueous asymmetric device,constructed with CSN-PB/MnO2 composite as cathode and activated carbon as anode,can work in a stable potential window of 2.4 V,exhibits a high energy density of 46.13 Wh·kg^-1 and excellent cycling stability with 85.5% capacitance retention after 20,000 cycles.This work provides a new concept of high dynamic structural reversibility from CSNs to increase the cell voltage of asymmetric SCs for further boosting energy density.Gaowei Zhang Hua Yao Feng Zhang Zitao Gao Qiujun Li Yangyi Yang Xihong Lu 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:5
6Early Paleozoic Magmatism and Gold Mineralization in the Northern Altun, NW China显示文摘This paper discusses the relationships between granitic magmatism and gold mineralization and the exhumation history of the Dapinggou gold deposit in northern Altun, NW China based on the geochronological data, including zircon U-Pb ages, Rb-Sr isochron age and ^40Ar-^39Ar dating and MDD modeling data. The main granitic magmatism age in this area is attained from the ID TIMS U-Pb geochronology of zircons from the Kuoshibulak granite, the biggest granite in the northern Altun area, which gives a concordant age of 443±5 Ma in the Late Ordovician. Zircon ID TIMS U-Pb geochronology of the West Dapinggou biotite granite west of the Dapinggou gold deposit gives concordant ages around 485±10 Ma, representing the early stage of Ordovician magmatism. The Rb-Sr isochron age (487±21 Ma) of 6 quartz inclusion samples from quartz veins in this gold deposit is very close to that of the West Dapinggou granite. MDD modeling of step heating ^40Ar-^39Ar data of K-feldspar from the same West Dapinggou biotite granite gives a rapid cooling history from 300℃ to 150℃ during 200-185 Ma. According to the age data and the geological setting of this area, we conclude that the Dapinggou gold deposit was formed at the early stage of the Early Paleozoic granitic magmatism in northern Altun, and exhumed in the Early Jurassic due to the normal faulting of the Lapeiquan detachment. The Early Paleozoic magmatism may provide heat source and produce geological fluids, which are very important for gold mineralization. 7Excavation-induced deep hard rock fracturing:Methodology and applications显示文摘To analyze and predict the mechanical behaviors of deep hard rocks,some key issues concerning rock fracturing mechanics for deep hard rock excavations are discussed.First,a series of apparatuses and methods have been developed to test the mechanical properties and fracturing behaviors of hard rocks under high true triaxial stress paths.Evolution mechanisms of stress-induced disasters in deep hard rock excavations,such as spalling,deep cracking,massive roof collapse,large deformation and rockbursts,have been recognized.The analytical theory for the fracturing process of hard rock masses,including the three-dimensional failure criterion,stress-induced mechanical model,fracturing degree index,energy release index and numerical method,has been established.The cracking-restraint method is developed for mitigating or controlling rock spalling,deep cracking and massive collapse of deep hard rocks.An energy-controlled method is also proposed for the prevention of rockbursts.Finally,two typical cases are used to illustrate the application of the proposed methodology in the Baihetan caverns and Bayu tunnels of China.Xia-Ting Feng Cheng-Xiang Yang Rui Kong Jun Zhao Yangyi Zhou Zhibin Yao Lei Hu 2022Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2022,14,1:4
8A local homogenization approach for simulating the reinforcement effect of the fully grouted bolt in deep underground openings显示文摘Fully grouted bolts are a key component of the support system for underground openings.Although considerable effort has been made in the simulation of the reinforcement effect of the fully grouted bolts on the rock masses surrounding underground openings,most of the work has limited significance since the structural element approach is used.This study proposes a local homogenization approach(L-H approach)that integrates elastoplastic mechanics,composite mechanics,and analytical approaches with numerical simulation to effectively simulate the reinforcement effect of the fully grouted bolt on deep surrounding rock masses.In the L-H approach,the representative volume of bolted rock mass(RVBRM)with a fully grouted bolt is established based on the original mesh model utilized in the rockbolt element approach.The RVBRM is a regular quadrangular prism with a cross-sectional size equal to the bolt spacing and a length equal to the bolt length.The RVBRM is homogenized by the L-H approach from a unidirectional bolt-reinforced composite into a homogeneous transversely isotropic medium whose mechanical properties are described by a new transversely isotropic elastoplastic model.The L-H parameters for the RVBRM are obtained using analytical approaches,composite mechanics,and known parameters of the rock mass and bolt.Using the L-H approach,the reinforcement effect of the fully grouted bolt on the bolted rock specimen and the surrounding rock mass in Jinping II Diversion Tunnel#2 with a depth greater than 2000 m is simulated.The results show that the predictions of the L-H approach are more in agreement with the physical model results of bolted rock specimen and provide a more realistic response of the bolted surrounding rock mass.The L-H approach demonstrates that fully grouted bolts with common bolt spacings and diameters substantially enhance the elastic modulus,shear strength,and tensile strength of the rock mass in the direction of the bolt axis.Dingping Xu Xiuyang Liu Quan Jiang Shaojun Li Yangyi Zhou Shili Qiu Fei Yan Hong Zheng Xiang Huang 2022International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2022,32,2:3
9Experimental investigation on fracturing process of marble under biaxial compression显示文摘In this study,servo-controlled biaxial compression tests were conducted on marble specimens to investigate their failure characteristics and fracturing process.The complete stressestrain curves were obtained,and the three-dimensional(3D)features of the failure surfaces were acquired by 3D laser scanning.Acoustic emission(AE)monitoring and moment tensor(MT)analysis were used in combination to better understand the fracturing mechanism of marble under biaxial compression.It was noted that a type of 3D stepwise cracking behaviour occurred on the fracturing surfaces of the examined specimens.The stress dropped multiple times,and a repeated fracturing mode corresponding to the repeated stress drops in the post-peak regime was observed.Three substages,i.e.stress stabilisation,stress decrease and stress increase,were identified for a single fracturing mode.Then quantitative and statistical analyses of the fracturing process at each substage were discussed.Based on the testing results,it was found that at the stress stabilisation substage,the proportion of mixed-mode fractures increased.At the stress decrease substage,the proportion of mixed-mode fractures decreased,and the tensile or shear fractures increased.At the stress increase substage,the proportion of mixed-mode or tensile fractures decreased,and the shear fractures increased.Finally,a conceptual model for the stepwise crack formation was proposed.Zhaofeng Wang Xia-Ting Feng Chengxiang Yang Yangyi Zhou Hong Xu Qiang Han Yaohui Gao 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,5:3
10Effect of Lamb Age and in vitro Culture System of Oocytes on JIVET Technology显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to investigate the effects of lamb age and in vitro culture system of oocytes on the results of juvenile in vitro embryo transfer( JIVET). [Methods]Ten Dorper × small-tailed Han lambs aged 5 to 10 weeks were induced to superovulate via i. p. injection of pregnant mare's serum gonadotropin( PMSG). The oocytes were matured in basal maturation solution or modified maturation solution,which was prepared by adding 200 μmol/L cysteine to the basal maturation solution. Then,the oocytes were fertilized in fertilization medium I containing 2% estrus sheep serum( ESS) or fertilization medium II containing 3 mg/ml bull serum albumin( BSA). Finally,the number of oocytes,oocyte maturation rate and cleavage rate of the lambs of different ages were determined. [Results]The average number of oocytes recovered per lamb was( 111. 00 ± 16. 97),( 139. 50 ± 28. 99),( 108. 50 ± 17. 68) and( 42. 00 ± 11. 31) for5-,7-,8-and 10-week-old Dorper × small-tailed Han lambs,respectively. The number of oocytes obtained from 5-,7-and 8-week-old lambs was significantly higher than that from 10-week-old lambs( P < 0. 05),but there was no significant difference among 5-,7-and 8-week-old lambs( P > 0. 05). The maturation rate of oocytes cultured in modified maturation solution was 3. 64% higher than that in basal maturation solution. The cleavage rate of oocytes in fertilization medium I was very significantly higher than that in fertilization medium II( P < 0. 01). 12Highly N/O co-doped ultramicroporous carbons derived from nonporous metal-organic framework for high performance supercapacitors显示文摘A new nonporous Zn-based metal-organic framework(NPMOF) synthesized from a high nitrogencontaining rigid ligand was converted into porous carbon materials by direct carbonization without adding additional carbon sources.A series of NPMOF-derived porous carbons with very high N/O contents(24.1% for NPMOF-700,20.2% for NPMOF-800,15.1% for NPMOF-900) were prepared by adjusting the pyrolysis temperatures.The NPMOF-800 fabrica ted electrode exhibits a high capacitance of220 F/g and extremely large surface area normalized capacitance of 57.7 μF/cm~2 compared to other reported MOF-derived porous carbon electrodes,which could be attributed to the abundant ultramicroporosity and high N/O co-doping.More importantly,symmetric supercapacitor assembled with the MOF-derived carbon manifests prominent stability,i.e.,99.1 % capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles at 1.0 A/g.This simple preparation of MOF-derived porous carbon materials not only finds an application direction for a variety of porous or even nonporous MOFs,but also opens a way for the production of porous carbon materials for superior energy storage.Yangyi Gu Ling Miao Ying Yin Mingxian Liu Lihua Gan Liangchun Li 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4:2
13JIVET Research on Texel Sheep显示文摘The present study was conducted to explore ways of JIVET research on Texel sheep,and to provide technical support for the improvement of the JIVET technology system for research on Texel sheep.Superovulation was conducted on 4-8-week old Texel sheep,and in-vivo ovum collection,in-vitro oocyte maturation and fertilization,and fertilized-embryo culture and transplantation were adopted to perform JIVET research on Texel sheep.The results showed that 296 available oocytes were obtained at an average of 74 oocytes per sheep;205 fertilized eggs were obtained at the 2-4 cell stage at an average of 51.25 eggs per sheep and a cleavage rate of 69.26%;and 66 of the fertilized eggs were transplanted to 11 receptor sheep.Six sheep were conceived at a conception rate of 54.55%,and 11 lambs were born.These results indicated that the present test could be used as a method for the study of JIVET technique on Texel sheep.Yangyi MAO Huidi LUO Xi LI Peng ZHAO Jun LI Sujun WU Hongyu GUO 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,5:2

20AlGaN solar‐blind APD with low breakdown voltage显示文摘A p-i-i-n type AlG a N heterostructure avalanche photodiodes(APDs)is proposed to decrease the avalanche breakdown voltage and to realize higher gain by using high-Al-content AlG aN layer as multiplication layer and low-Al-content AlG aN layer as absorption layer.The calculated results show that the designed APD can significantly reduce the breakdown voltage by almost 30%,and about sevenfold increase of maximum gain compared to the conventional Al GaN APD.The noise in designed APD is also less than that in conventional APD due to its low dark current at the breakdown voltage point.Moreover,the one-dimensional(1D)dual-periodic photonic crystal(PC)with anti-reflection coating filter is designed to achieve the solar-blind characteristic and cutoff wavelength of 282 nm is obtained.Kexiu Dong Dunjun Chen Yangyi Zhang Yizhe Sun Jianping Shi 2017光电工程2017,44,4:1
