1Reovirus,isolated from SARS patients显示文摘Beijing has been severely affected by SARS, and SARS-associated coronavirus has been confirmed as its cause. However, clinical and experimental evidence implicates the possibility of co-infection. In this report, reovirus was isolated from throat swabs of SARS patients, including the first case in Beijing and her mother. Identification with the electron microscopy revealed the characteristic features of reovirus. 24 of 38 samples from other SARS cases were found to have serologic responses to the reovirus. Primers designed for reovirus have amplified several fragments of DNA, one of which was sequenced (S2 gene fragment), which indicates it as a unique reovirus (orthoreovirus). Preliminary animal experiment showed that inoculation of the reovirus in mice caused death with atypical pneumonia. 3Adaptive sampling immune algorithm solving joint chance-constrained programming显示文摘This work investigates one immune optimization algorithm in uncertain environments, solving linear or nonlinear joint chance-constrained programming with a general distribution of the random vector. In this algorithm, an a priori lower bound estimate is developed to deal with one joint chance constraint, while the scheme of adaptive sampling is designed to make empirically better antibodies in the current population acquire larger sample sizes in terms of our sample-allocation rule. Relying upon several simplified immune metaphors in the immune system, we design two immune operators of dynamic proliferation and adaptive mutation. The first picks up those diverse antibodies to achieve proliferation according to a dynamical suppression radius index, which can ensure empirically potential antibodies more clones, and reduce noisy influence to the optimized quality, and the second is a module of genetic diversity, which exploits those valuable regions and finds those diverse and excellent antibodies. Theoretically, the proposed approach is demonstrated to be convergent. 4Flotation bubble seed image filling algorithm based on boundary point features显示文摘Bubble seed image filling is an important prerequisite for the image segmentation of flotation bubble that can be used to improve flotation automatic control. These common image filling algorithms in dealing with complex bubble image exists under-filling and over-filling problems. A new filling algorithm based on boundary point feature and scan lines (PFSL) is proposed in the paper. The filling algorithm describes these boundary points of image objects by means of chain codes. The features of each boundary point, including convex points, concave points, left points and right points, are defined by the point's entrancing chain code and leaving chain code. The algorithm firstly finds out all double-matched boundary points based on the features of boundary points, and fill image objects by these double-matched boundary points on scan lines. 5Preventive effect of chrysin on experimental autoimmune uveitis triggered by injection of human IRBP peptide 1-20 in mice显示文摘Uveitis is a common cause of blindness worldwide.Experimental autoimmune uveitis(EAU)is an animal model of noninfectious uveitis.Chrysin(5,7-dihydroxyflavone)is a member of the flavonoid family and has anti-inflammatory effects.We immunized C57BL/6J mice with human interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein peptide 1–20 to induce EAU.Chrysin was administered intragastrically at 25 mg/kg daily to the chrysin-treated mice from 3 days before immunization to 21 days after immunization.Vehicle was administered to the mice in the control group according to the same protocol.Lower clinical and histopathological scores,increased integrity of the blood–retinal barrier(BRB)and higher expression of tight junction proteins were observed in the chrysin-treated mice.Chrysin significantly decreased the proportions of Th1,Th17 and CD4^(+)CD3^(+)CD62L^(+)Th0 cells,and increased the proportion of Treg cells.Both macrophage infiltration and the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase in the retina were efficiently inhibited by chrysin treatment.In chrysin-treated mice,the expression of interferon-γ,interleukin(IL)-17A,IL-6,IL-1βand tumor necrosis factor-αwas reduced in the retina,whereas higher levels of transforming growth factor-βwere detected.Furthermore,NF-κBp65 was downregulated after chrysin treatment.In conclusion,as an anti-inflammatory molecule,chrysin exerts a preventive effect on EAU by modulating the balance among helper T-cell subsets and suppressing ocular inflammation,thereby maintaining the integrity of the BRB.Xiangda Meng Sijie Fang Zhuhong Zhang Yang Wang Caiyun You Jingkai Zhang Hua Yan 2017Cellular & Molecular Immunology2017,14,8:3
6Laser mass spectrometry for high sensitive and multi-component analysis of exhaust gas from vehicles显示文摘Laser mass spectrometry is a newly developed method for pollutant detection. It combines resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) and time-of-flight mass spectro- metry (TOF-MS). It may detect pollutants with high sensitivity, high selectivity and in a multi-component way. In this note, laser mass spectrometry was used to detect the pollutants in exhaust gases from vehicles. With one-color REMPI (at 266 nm), several aromatic hydrocarbons, including benzene, toluene, xylene, C3-benzene, etc., were detected. These substances were selectively ionized by (1+1) REMPI and their mass resolution was detected by a TOF mass spectrometer. 8Construction of Air Quality Evaluation System Based on FCM Algorithm and BP Neural Network显示文摘In order to solve the limitations of existing air quality evaluation system,a new air quality evaluation system was established based on FCM,the BP neural network,with the aim to provide scientific bases for the targeted and efficient control of air pollution,formulation of prevention and control strategy,and improvement of living environment. Based on the existing data of 6 air quality indices,the air quality data were reclassified by using FCM algorithm,obtaining the clustering center,which minimized the cost function of non-similar index.
