| 1 | Biomass-Derived Porous Carbon-Based Nanostructures for Microwave Absorption显示文摘Currently,electromagnetic(EM) pollution poses severe complication toward the operation of electronic devices and biological systems.To this end,it is pertinent to develop novel microwave absorbers through compositional and structural design.Porous carbon(PC)materials demonstrate great potential in EM wave absorption due to their ultralow density,large surface area,and excellent dielectric loss ability.However,the large-scale production of PC materials through low-cost and simple synthetic route is a challenge.Deriving PC materials through biomass sources is a sustainable,ubiquitous,and low-cost method,which comes with many desired features,such as hierarchical texture,periodic pattern,and some unique nanoarchitecture.Using the bio-inspired microstructure to manufacture PC materials in mild condition is desirable.In this review,we summarize the EM wave absorption application of biomass-derived PC materials from optimizing structureand designing composition.The corresponding synthetic mechanisms and development prospects are discussed as well.The perspective in this field is given at the end of the article. | Huanqin Zhao Yan Cheng Wei Liu Lieji Yang Baoshan Zhang Luyuan Paul Wang Guangbin Ji Zhichuan J.Xu | 2019 | Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2: | 12 |
| 2 | Effects of Straw Incorporation Methods on Nitrous Oxide and Methane Emissions from a Wheat-Rice Rotation System显示文摘The incorporation of straw with a microbial inoculant(a mixture of bacteria and fungi, designed to accelerate straw decomposition)is being increasingly adopted within the agricultural sector in China. However, its effects on N and C trace gas emissions remain unclear.We conducted a field experiment to investigate the effects of different straw incorporation methods(with and without microbial inoculant) in the wheat season on nitrous oxide(N_2O) and methane(CH_4) emissions from a wheat-rice rotation system in China.The treatments comprised N, P, and K fertilizers only(NPK), NPK plus rice straw(NPKS), NPKS plus Ruilaite microbial inoculant(NPKSR), and NPKS plus Jinkuizi microbial inoculant(NPKSJ). Rice straw incorporation before wheat sowing significantly decreased N_2O emissions during the wheat season and stimulated N_2O and CH_4 emissions during the subsequent rice season. Compared with the NPKS treatment, the NPKSR and NPKSJ treatments decreased N_2O emissions during the wheat season, but had no effect on N_2O or CH_4 emissions during the subsequent rice season. Annually, the two treatments were comparable regarding N_2O emissions.Although the global warming potentials of the NPKSR and NPKSJ treatments were lower than that of the NPKS treatment during the wheat season, no significant differences were observed during the subsequent rice season, or over the entire rotation cycle. The annual greenhouse gas intensity was slightly lower in the NPKSR and NPKSJ treatments than in the NPKS treatment. | 3 | Ultrasonic Nondestructive Signals Processing Based on Matching Pursuit with Gabor Dictionary显示文摘The success of ultrasonic nondestructive testing technology depends not only on the generation and measurement of the desired waveform, but also on the signal processing of the measured waves. The traditional time-domain methods have been partly successful in identifying small cracks, but not so successful in estimating crack size, especially in strong backscattering noise. Sparse signal representation can provide sparse information that represents the signal time-frequency signature, which can also be used in processing ultrasonic nondestructive signals. A novel ultrasonic nondestructive signal processing algorithm based on signal sparse representation is proposed. In order to suppress noise, matching pursuit algorithm with Gabor dictionary is selected as the signal decomposition method. Precise echoes information, such as crack location and size, can be estimated by quantitative analysis with Gabor atom. To verify the performance, the proposed algorithm is applied to computer simulation signal and experimental ultrasonic signals which represent multiple backscattered echoes from a thin metal plate with artificial holes. The results show that this algorithm not only has an excellent performance even when dealing with signals in the presence of strong noise, but also is successful in estimating crack location and size. | 4 | Synthesis of water-soluble Cu nanoparticles and evaluation of their tribological properties and thermal conductivity as a water-based additive显示文摘Efficient and sustainable use of water-based lubricants is essential for energy efficiency.Therefore,the use of water-lubricated mechanical systems instead of conventional oil lubricants is extremely attractive from the viewpoint of resource conservation.In this study,water-soluble Cu nanoparticles of size approximately 3 nm were prepared at room temperature(around 25 °C) via in-situ surface modification.The tribological behavior of the as-synthesized Cu nanoparticles as an additive in distilled water was evaluated using a universal micro-tribotester.The results show that the as-synthesized Cu nanoparticles,as a water-based lubricant additive,can significantly improve the tribological properties of distilled water.In particular,the lowest friction coefficient of 0.06 was obtained via lubrication with a concentration of 0.6 wt% of Cu nanoparticles in distilled water,which is a reduction of 80.6% compared with that obtained via lubrication with distilled water alone.It is considered that some Cu nanoparticles entered the contact area of the friction pairs to form a complex lubricating film and prevent direct contact of the friction pairs.Furthermore,some Cu nanoparticles in the solution accelerate the heat transfer process,which also results in good tribological properties. | Junhua ZHAO Guangbin YANG Chunli ZHANG Yujuan ZHANG Shengmao ZHANG Pingyu ZHANG | 2019 | Friction2019,7,3: | 6 |
| 5 | Variations of Stable Carbon Isotopes of CH4 Emission from Three Typical Rice Fields in China显示文摘Little is known about the stable carbon isotopes of methane(CH4) emitted(δ^(13)CH_(4emitted)) from permanently flooded rice fields and double rice-cropping fields.The CH4 emission and corresponding δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) under various field managements(mulching,water regime,tillage,and nitrogen(N) fertilization) were simultaneously measured in three typical Chinese rice fields,a permanently flooded rice field in Ziyang City,Sichuan Province,Southwest China,a double-rice cropping field in Yingtan City,Jiangxi Province,Southeast China,and a rice-wheat rotation field in Jurong City,Jiangsu Province,East China,from 2010 to 2012.Results showed different seasonal variations of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) among the three fields during the rice-growing season.The values of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) were negatively correlated with corresponding CH4 emissions in seasonal variation and mean,indicating the importance of CH_4 production,oxidation,and transport associated with isotopic fractionation effects to the δ^(13)CH_(4emitted).Seasonal variations of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) were slightly impacted by mulching cultivation,tillage,and N application,but highly controlled by drainage.Meanwhile,tillage,N application,and especially mulching cultivation had important effects on seasonal mean CH4 emissions and corresponding δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) with low emissions accompanied by high values of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted).Seasonal mean values of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) from the three fields were similar,mostly ranging from —60‰ to — 50‰,which are well in agreement with previously published data.These demonstrated that seasonal variations of δ^(13)CH_(4emitted) mainly depended on the changes in CH4 emission from rice fields and further indicated the important effects of methanogenic pathways,CH4 oxidation,and CH4 transport associated with isotope fractionation effects influenced by field managements on δ^(13)CH_(4emitted). | ZHANG Guangbin MA Jing YANG Yuting YU Haiyang SHI Yaping XU Hua | 2017 | Pedosphere2017,27,1: | 6 |
| 6 | Multifunctional Integrated Transparent Film for Efficient Electromagnetic Protection显示文摘Silver nanowire(Ag NW)has been considered as the promising building block for the fabrication of transparent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding films.However,the practical application of Ag NW-based EMI shielding films has been restricted due to the unsatisfactory stability of Ag NW.Herein,we proposed a reduced graphene oxide(rGO)decorated Ag NW film,which realizes a seamless integration of optical transparency,highly efficient EMI shielding,reliable durability and stability.The Ag NW constructs a highly transparent and conductive network,and the rGO provides additional conductive path,showing a superior EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)of 33.62 dB at transmittance of 81.9%.In addition,the top rGO layer enables the hybrid film with reliable durability and chemical stability,which can maintain 96%and 90%EMI SE after 1000 times bending cycles at radius of 2 mm and exposure in air for 80 days.Furthermore,the rGO/Ag NW films also possess fast thermal response and heating stability,making them highly applicable in wearable devices.The synergy of Ag NW and rGO grants the hybrid EMI shielding film multiple desired functions and meanwhile overcomes the shortcomings of Ag NW.This work provides a reference for preparing multifunctional integrated transparent EMI shielding film. | Gehuan Wang Yue Zhao Feng Yang Yi Zhang Ming Zhou Guangbin Ji | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,5: | 5 |

| 8 | Effects of magnetic ionic liquid as a lubricant on the friction and wear behavior of a steel-steel sliding contact under elevated temperatures显示文摘A magnetic ionic liquid(abridged as MIL)[C_(6)mim]_(5)[Dy(SCN)_(8)]was prepared and used as the magnetic lubricant of a steel-steel sliding pair.The tribological properties of the as-prepared MIL were evaluated with a commercially obtained magnetic fluid lubricant(abridged as MF;the mixture of dioctyl sebacate and Fe_(3)O_(4),denoted as DIOS-Fe_3O_4)as a control.The lubrication mechanisms of the two types of magnetic lubricants were discussed in relation to worn surface analyses by SEM-EDS,XPS,and profilometry,as well as measurement of the electric contact resistance of the rubbed steel surfaces.The results revealed that the MIL exhibits better friction-reducing and antiwear performances than the as-received MF under varying test temperatures and loads.This is because the MIL participates in tribochemical reactions during the sliding process,and forms a boundary lubrication film composed of Dy_(2)O_(3),FeS,FeSO_(4),nitrogen-containing organics,and thioether on the rubbed disk surface,thereby reducing the friction and wear of the frictional pair.However,the MF is unable to form a lubricating film on the surface of the rubbed steel at 25°C,though it can form a boundary film consisting of Fe_(3)O_(4) and a small amount of organics under high temperature.Furthermore,the excessive Fe_(3)O_(4) particulates that accumulate in the sliding zone may lead to enhanced abrasive wear of the sliding pair. | Jiajia JIA Guangbin YANG Chunli ZHANG Shengmao ZHANG Yujuan ZHANG Pingyu ZHANG | 2021 | Friction2021,9,1: | 2 |

| 15 | Responses of the methanogenic pathway and fraction of CH4 oxidization in a flooded paddy soil to rice planting显示文摘Rice planting(RP)is significant to methane(CH4_(4))emissions from paddy fields,but its effect on the relative contribution of the acetoclastic methanogenesis to total CH4_(4) production(F_(ac))and the fraction of CH4_(4) oxidized(Fox)is poorly understood.To quantify the responses of the F_(ac) and Fox to RP,we investigated CH4_(4) fluxes,CH4_(4) production and oxidation potentials,dissolved CH4_(4) concentrations,and their stable carbon isotopes in a flooded paddy soil.The mcrA and pmoA gene copies were also determined by quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR).Compared with the unplanted soil(control,CK),the seasonal CH4_(4) emissions from the planted soil were significantly enhanced,13.6 times,resulting in large decreases in the CH4_(4) concentrations in the soil solution.This indicated that much more CH4_(4) was released into the atmosphere by the RP than was stored in the soils.Acetoclastic methanogenesis became more important from the tillering stage(TS)to the ripening stage(RS)for the CK,with F_(ac) values increased from 17%-20% to 46%-55%.With RP,the F_(ac) values were enhanced by 10%-20%,and it significantly increased the copy numbers of the mcrA gene at the four rice stages(TS,booting stage(BS),grain-filling stage(GS),and RS).Furthermore,the effect of the RP on the abundance of the mcrA gene was highly concurrent with the effect on the F_(ac) values.At the TS,the Fox values at the soil-water interface were around 50%-75% for the CK,being 15%-20% lower than those of the RP in the rhizosphere.It increased to 65%-100% at the GS,but was reduced by 20%-30% after the RP.These differences might be because the copy numbers of the pmoA gene were significantly raised at the TS while lowered at the GS by the RP.This was further demonstrated by the strong correlations between the effect of the RP on the abundance of the pmoA gene and the effect on the Fox values.These findings suggest that RP markedly impacts on the abundances of the mcrA and pmoA genes,affecting the pathway of CH4_(4) production and the fraction of CH4_(4) oxidization,respectively. | Yuting YANG Guangbin ZHANG Jing MA Qiong HUANG Haiyang YU Kaifu SONG Xiaoli ZHU Xi MIAO Hua XU | 2021 | Pedosphere2021,31,6: | 1 |
