| 1 | Linear Quadratic Differential Game Strategies with Two-pursuit Versus Single-evader显示文摘In order to intercept the future targets that are characterized by high maneuverability, multiple interceptors may be launched and aimed at single target. The scenario of two missiles P and Q intercepting a single target is modeled as a two-pursuit single-evader non-zero-sum linear quadratic differential game. The intercept space is decomposed into three subspaces which are mutually disjoint and their union covers the entire intercept space. The effect of adding the second interceptor arises in the intercept space of both P and Q (PQ-intercept space). A guidance law is derived from the Nash equilibrium strategy set (NESS) of the game. Simulation studies are focused on the PQ-intercept space. It is indicated that 1) increasing the target's maneuverability will enlarge PQ-intercept space; 2) the handover conditions will be released if the initial zero-effort-miss (ZEM) of both interceptors has opposite sign; 3) overvaluation of the target's maneuverability by choosing a small weight coefficient will generate robust performance with respect to the target maneuvering command switch time and decrease the fuel requirement; and 4) cooperation between interceptors increases the interception probability. | LIU Yanfang QI Naiming TANG Zhiwei | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2012,25,6: | 19 |
| 2 | Famitinib in combination with concurrent chemoradiotherapy in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma: a phase 1, open-label, dose-escalation Study显示文摘Background:Famitinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor against multiple targets,including vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2/3,platelet-derived growth factor receptor,and stem cell factor receptor(c-kit).Previous studies have demonstrated anti-tumour activities of famitinib against a wide variety of advanced-stage solid cancers.We aimed to determine the safety and efficacy of famitinib with concurrent chemoradiotherapy(CCRT)in patients with locoregionally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).We also evaluated the feasibility of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(D-CEUS)as a predictor of early tumour response to famitinib and to correlate functional parameters with clinical efficacy.Methods:The trial was conducted in subjects with stage III or IVa-b NPC using a 3+3 design of escalating fami-tinib doses.Briefly,subjects received 2 weeks of famitinib monotherapy followed by 7 weeks of famitinib plus CCRT.D-CEUS of the neck lymph nodes was performed at day 0,8 and 15 after famitinib was administered before starting concurrent chemoradiotherapy.End points included safety,tolerability and anti-tumour activity.Results:Twenty patients were enrolled(six each for 12.5,16.5 and 20 mg and two for 25 mg).Two patients in the 25 mg cohort developed dose-limiting toxicities,including grade 4 thrombocytopenia and grade 3 hypertension.The most common grade 3/4 adverse events were leukopenia,neutropenia and radiation mucositis.D-CEUS tests showed that more than 60%of patients achieved a perfusion parameter response after 2 weeks taking famitinib alone,and the parameter response was associated with disease improvement.In the famitinib monotherapy stage,three patients(15%)showed partial responses.The complete response rate was 65%at the completion of treatment and 95%3 months after the treatment ended.After a median follow-up of 44 months,the 3-year progression-free survival(PFS)and distant metastasis-free survival were 70%and 75%,respectively.Subjects with a decrease of perfusion parameter response,such as peak intensity decreased at least 30%after 1 week of famitinib treatment,had higher 3-year PFS(90.9%vs.44.4%,95%CI 73.7%-100%vs.11.9%-76.9%,P<0.001)than those with an increase or a reduction of less than 30%.Conclusions:The recommended famitinib dose for phase II trial is 20 mg with CCRT for patients with local advanced NPC.D-CEUS is a reliable and early measure of efficacy for famitinib therapies.Further investigation is required to confirm the effects of famitinib plus chemoradiotherapy. | Qiuyan Chen Linquan Tang Na Liu Feng Han Ling Guo Shanshan Guo Jianwei Wang Huai Liu Yanfang Ye Lu Zhang Liting Liu Pan Wang Yingqin Li Qingmei He Xiaoqun Yang Qingnan Tang Yang Li YuJing Liang XueSong Sun Chuanmiao Xie Yunxian Mo Ying Guo Rui Sun Haoyuan Mo Kajia Cao Xiang Guo Musheng Zeng Haiqiang Mai Jun Ma | 2018 | Cancer Communications2018,38,1: | 6 |

| 5 | Novel SFTSV Phylogeny Reveals New Reassortment Events and Migration Routes显示文摘Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus(SFTSV),the causative agent of a febrile human disease,was first identified from central and eastern provinces in China,and later in Japan and South Korea.Hubei Province is one of the major SFTS epidemic areas in the central part of China.This study reported the isolation of 11 new SFTSV strains from patients in Hubei Province collected in 2017.Extensive phylogenetic analyses were conducted based on the complete coding sequences of SFTSV segments including the new strains.It was suggested that five different SFTSV genotypes were circulating in Hubei,and 15 reassortment patterns and migration pathways correlated with each genotype were identified,which was more than previously recognized.Hubei Province was more involved in the evolutionary events of SFTSV than that previously thought in which the evolutionary events of SFTSV were reported to be independent from those in other epidemic regions.Further divergence of SFTSV strains was suggested by pairwise comparison of SFTSV sequences from each genotype and sequence identity normalized to representative strain in genotype C1.Subsequently,amino acid variations specific for genotype(s),strain(s),or cluster(s)were inspected,which may be related to differential biological activity of SFTSV strains/genotypes.In conclusion,we analyzed the current status of SFTSV phylogeny in Hubei Province and discussed the possible events correlated to SFTSV evolution.It provided an in-depth insight into SFTSV evolution,raising concerns for the use of proper SFTSV strains in future studies. | Xiaoli Wu Mingyue Li Yanfang Zhang Boyun Liang Junming Shi Yaohui Fang Zhengyuan Su Mengmeng Li Wenjing Zhang Ling Xu Jun Wang Qiaoli Wu Shuang Tang Hualin Wang Tao Zhang Cheng Peng Xin Zheng Fei Deng Shu Shen | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,2: | 2 |

| 12 | Identification of a key G-protein coupled receptor in mediating appressorium formation and fungal virulence against insects显示文摘Fungal G-protein coupled receptors(GPCRs)play essential roles in sensing environmental cues including host signals.The study of GPCR in mediating fungus-insect interactions is still limited.Here we report the evolution of GPCR genes encoded in the entomopathogenic Metarhizium species and found the expansion of Pth11-like GPCRs in the generalist species with a wide host range.By deletion of ten candidate genes MrGpr1–MrGpr10 selected from the six obtained subfamilies in the generalist M.robertsii,we found that each of them played a varied level of roles in mediating appressorium formation.In particular,deletion of MrGpr8 resulted in the failure of appressorium formation on different substrates and the loss of virulence during topical infection of insects but not during injection assays when compared with the wild-type(WT)strain.Further analysis revealed that disruption of MrGpr8 substantially impaired the nucleus translocation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)Mero-Fus3 but not the MAPK Mero-Slt2 during appressorium formation.We also found that the defect ofΔMrGpr8 could not be rescued with the addition of cyclic AMP for appressorium formation.Relative to the WT,differential expression of the selected genes have also been detected inΔMrGpr8.The results of this study may benefit the understanding of fungus-interactions mediated by GPCRs. | Junmei Shang Yanfang Shang Guirong Tang Chengshu Wang | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3: | 1 |

| 14 | A harlequin ichthyosis pig model with a novel ABCA12 mutation can be rescued by acitretin treatment显示文摘Harlequin ichthyosis (HI) is a severe genetic skin disorder and caused by mutation in the ATP-binding cassette A12 (ABCA12) gene. The retinoid administration has dramatically improved long-term survival of HI, but improvements are still needed. However, the ABCA12 null mice failed to respond to retinoid treatment, which impedes the development of novel cure strategies for HI. Here we generated an ethylnitrosourea mutagenic HI pig model (named Z9), which carries a novel deep intronic mutation IVS49-727 A>G in the ABCA12 gene, resulting in abnormal mRNA splicing and truncated protein production. Z9 pigs exhibit significant clinical symptom as human patients with HI. Most importantly, systemic retinoid treatment significantly prolonged the life span of the mutant pigs via improving epidermal maturation, decreasing epidermal apoptosis, and triggering the expression of ABCA6. | 16 | Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Ti–Ta Composites Prepared Through Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing显示文摘In this study, an innovative approach was used to fabricate Ti–Ta composite biomaterials through cold spray additive manufacturing followed by a diff usion treatment. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated in detail using field emission scanning electron microscopy, electron backscatter diff raction, 3D X-ray computed tomography, tensile test, nanohardness test and resonance vibration test. The obtained results indicated that the prepared composites have inhomogeneity in their microstructure and composition. A unique microstructure, composed of Ti-rich, Ta-rich and diff usion regions, was evolved in the composites due to incomplete diff usion between Ti and Ta splats. Further, Kirkendall pores were formed in the composites due to uneven diff usion of the two phases(of Ti and Ta) during high-temperature heat treatment. The prepared composites simultaneously showed low elastic modulus and high tensile strength which is required for a good biomaterial. Low elastic modulus was associated with the residual pores and the alloying eff ect of Ta in Ti, while high tensile strength was related to the solid solution strengthening eff ects.
