| 16 | Role of tannin pretreatment in flotation separation of magnesite and dolomite显示文摘Flotation separation of magnesite and its calcium-containing carbonate minerals is a difficult problem.Recently,new regulat-ors have been proposed for magnesite flotation decalcification,although traditional regulators such as tannin,water glass,sodium carbon-ate,and sodium hexametaphosphate are more widely used in industry.However,they are rarely used as the main regulators in research because they perform poorly in magnesite and dolomite single-mineral flotation tests.Inspired by the limonite presedimentation method and the addition of a regulator to magnesite slurry mixing,we used a tannin pretreatment method for separating magnesite and dolomite.Microflotation experiments confirmed that the tannin pretreatment method selectively and largely reduces the flotation recovery rate of dolomite without affecting the flotation recovery rate of magnesite.Moreover,the contact angles of the tannin-pretreated magnesite and dolomite increased and decreased,respectively,in the presence of NaOl.Zeta potential and Fourier transform infrared analyses showed that the tannin pretreatment method efficiently hinders NaOl adsorption on the dolomite surface but does not affect NaOl adsorption on the magnesite surface.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and density functional theory calculations confirmed that tannin interacts more strongly with dolomite than with magnesite. | Xiufeng Gong Jin Yao Jun Guo Bin Yang Haoran Sun Wanzhong Yin Yulian Wang Yafeng Fu | 2024 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2024,31,3: | 0 |
| 17 | Microstructural evolution of directionally solidified DZ125 superalloy castings with different solidification methods显示文摘The properties of Ni-base superalloy castings are closely related to the uniformity of their as-cast microstructure,and different solidification methods have serious effect on microstructural uniformity.In this paper,the influences of high rate solidification(HRS) process(with or without superheating) and liquid metal cooling(LMC) process on the microstructure of DZ125 superalloy were investigated.Blade-shape castings were solidified at rates of 40 μm·s-1 to 110 μm·s-1 using HRS process and a comparative experiment was carried out at a rate of 70 μm·s-1 by LMC process.The optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM) were used to observe the microstructure and the grain size was analyzed using electron back scattered diffraction(EBSD) technique.Results show that for the castings by either HRS or LMC process,the primary dendrite arm spacing and size of γ' precipitates decrease with increasing the withdrawal rate;the dendrites and γ' precipitates at the upper section of the blade are coarser than those in the middle,especially for the HRS castings without high superheating technique.When the withdrawal rate is 70 μm·s-1,the castings by HRS with high superheating technique have the smallest PDAS with fine γ' precipitates;while the size distribution of γ' precipitates is more homogenous in LMC castings,and the number of larger grains in LMC castings is smaller than that in the HRS castings.Moreover,high superheating technique yields smaller grains in the castings.Both the LMC method and HRS with high superheating technique can be used to prepare castings with reduced maximum grain size. | Ge Bingming Liu Lin Zhang Jun Li Yafeng Fu Hengzhi Liu Xiaofu | 2013 | China Foundry2013,10,1: | 0 |
| 18 | Elevating photoluminescence properties of Y_(3)MgAl_(3)SiO_(12):Ce^(3+)transparent ceramics for high-power white lighting显示文摘Compared with Y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12):Ce^(3+),Y3MgAl3SiO12:Ce^(3+)(YMASG:Ce^(3+))reveals great potential for highpower white lighting with red-shift spectrum.Herein,YMASG:Ce^(3+)transparent ceramics were explored to be synthesized in the air following hot isostatic pressure(HIP)treatment to obtain tunable and optimized optical properties.Then phase purity,microstructure,transmittance,and photoluminescence of YMASG:Ce^(3+)ceramics were investigated.The emission peak of YMASG:Ce^(3+)transparent ceramic can be tuned from 573 to 592 nm with the variation of Ce^(3+)doping concentration.It should be noted that this YMASG:0.2 at%Ce^(3+)transparent ceramic with emission peak at 579 nm under 450 nm excitation exhibits the highest internal/external quantum efficiency(72%/65%).The white LED device using YMASG:0.2 at%Ce^(3+)transparent ceramic with a 0.4 mm thickness demonstrates a luminous efficiency(LE)of 106 lm/W,correlated color temperature of 3158 K,and color coordinate(0.3933,0.3265).Thermal stability can be significantly imporoved by the incorporation of Lu^(3+)in YMASG transparent ceramic,and the Y3-yLuyMgAl3SiO12:0.2 at/Ce^(3+)(y=0-2.5)transparent ceramics were fabricated.The highest thermal stability(88%@150℃of the integrated emission intensity at 25℃)can be achieved wheny=2.5.The maximum LE of 154 Im/W can be obtained from Y_(0.5)Lu_(2.5)MgAl_(3)SiO_(12):0.2 at%Ce^(3+)transparent ceramic.These results indicate that YMASG:Ce^(3+)transparent ceramics with optimized properties can be regarded as an encouraging candidate for highpower white lighting. | Shaowei Feng Yongchang Guo Xiaoming Sun Jie Fu Jianqiang Li Jun Jiang Haiming Qin Hui Wang Yafeng Yang | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,5: | 0 |
| 19 | Kunming mouse strain is less susceptible to elastase-induced abdominal aortic aneurysms显示文摘Background:Porcine pancreatic elastase(PPE)is successfully used to induce abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA)in mice.However,differences between mouse strains in susceptibility to PPE induction have been reported.Kunming mouse is one of the most frequently used strains in China but whether it is suitable for induction of AAA by PPE application remains unclear.Methods:PPE infusion(1.5 units/ml)in temporary controlled aorta was performed to induce AAAs in both C57BL/6J and Kunming mice.Phosphatebuffered saline(PBS)application was used as vehicle control.The aorta diameters of all mice were measured at days 0 and 14 after surgery to evaluate the AAA formation.Results:After 14 days of PPE or PBS infusion,all mice were sacrificed and aorta tissues were collected for histological staining analysis.At the 14th day after infusion,PPE successfully induced aortic dilation in Kunming mice and typical AAA in C57BL/6J mice.The aorta diameter increased by 0.23 mm in Kunming mice after PPE infusion,while it was 0.72 mm in the C57BL/6J strain.PPE induced mild elastin degradation,smooth muscle cell(SMC)depletion and mural leucocyte infiltration in Kunming mice,but in PPE-sensitive C57BL/6J mice,it induced total loss of SMCs,elastin disappearance and diffused infiltrated leucocytes in aortic aneurysmal segments.The effects of PPE in inducing angiogenesis and upregulating matrix metalloproteinase 2 and 9 expression in Kunming mice were also weaker than that in C57BL/6J mice.Conclusion:At the reported dose of PPE,Kunming mouse is not as susceptible to AAA formation as C57BL/6J mice.The failure of PPE to induce AAA formation in Kunming mice may be associated to its inability to boost a strong inflammatory response. | Haole Liu Kangli Tian Congcong Xia Panpan Wei Boyu Xu Weilai Fu Yankui Li Yafeng Li Liang Bai Rong Wang Weirong Wang Baohui Xu Enqi Liu Sihai Zhao | 2022 | Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,1: | 0 |
| 20 | Observer-based State Feedback Control to Suppress Stick-slip Vibrations in Oil Well Drill-string显示文摘In drilling field, stick-slip vibrations of the drill-string are the main reason for the failure of the drilling system. To suppress the undesired stick-slip vibrations, an observer-based state feedback control method is proposed. The drilling system is described by a lumped parameter model including a Karnopp friction torque model. A state observer is designed to estimate the bit velocity in bottom hole and a state feedback controller is proposed to control the top drive velocity. By simulation, the performance of the control algorithm is demonstrated. Based on the control algorithm, a stick-slip vibration control system is developed.
