| 1 | Ultrahigh performance concrete–properties, applications and perspectives显示文摘Over the last twenty years,remarkable advances have taken place in the research and application of ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC),which exhibits outstanding mechanical properties and excellent durability.It has shown great potential for the next generation infrastructure construction from the sustainability point of view.This paper will give an overview on UHPC,with particular focus on the properties,applications and perspectives.After several decades of development,several types of commercial UHPC materials are available in the market,and the properties of UHPC have been characterized by numerous experimental and field tests.Generally speaking,the performance(e.g.mechanical properties and durability)of UHPC is much better than normal concrete(NC)and high performance concrete(HPC).Therefore,the uses of UHPC are growing all over the world,in both fields of new construction and retrofitting.Nevertheless,it is still a special material and technology,which is not worldwide accepted.So some application prospects of UHPC are briefly introduced in the paper,and the efforts,which have to be made to turn UHPC into a widespread‘regular’technology,are discussed.This paper aims to help designers,engineers,architects and infrastructure owners to know the capacities of UHPC and thus to increase the applications of this material. | GU Chun Ping YE Guang SUN Wei | 2015 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,4: | 28 |

| 3 | Long-term outcomes of endoscopic resection for small(≤4.0cm) gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors originating from the muscularis propria layer显示文摘AIM To evaluate the long-term efficacy of endoscopic resection(ER) for small(≤ 4.0 cm) gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs) originating from the muscularis propria layer.METHODS Between June 2005 and February 2015, we retrospectively analyzed 229 consecutive patients with gastric MP-GISTs who underwent ER with a follow-up at least 36 mo. The main outcome measurements included complete resection rate, complications, and long-term follow-up outcomes.RESULTS ER included endoscopic muscularis excavation in 179 cases, endoscopic full-thickness resection in 32 cases, and submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection in 18 cases. The median size of GISTs was 1.90 cm. Of the 229 GISTs, 147 were very low risk, 72 were low risk, 8 were intermediate risk, and 2 were high risk. Shortterm outcomes showed the complete resection rate was 96.5%, and 8 patients(3.5%) had complications. Of the 8 patients with complications, only one patient required surgical intervention. Long-term outcomes showed 225 patients were actively followed-up until composition of this manuscript. The remaining 4 patients were lost because of unrelated death. During the follow-up period(median, 57 mo), no residual, recurrent lesions, or distant metastasis were detected in any patients. | 4 | Decrease of Glomerular Filtration Rate may be Attributed to the Microcirculation Damage in Renal Artery Stenosis显示文摘Background: The decrease ofglomenllar filtration rate has been theoretically supposed to be the result of low perfusion in renal artery stenosis (RAS). But the gap between artery stenosis and the glomerular filtration ability is still unclear. Methods: Patients with selective renal artery angiogram were divided by the degree of renal artery narrowing, level of estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), respectively. The different levels ofeGFR, renal microcirculation markers, and RAS severity were compared with each other, to determine the relationships among them. Results: A total of 215 consecutive patients were enrolled in the prospective cohort study. Concentrations of microcirculation markers had no significant difference between RAS group (RAS ≥ 50%) and no RAS group (RAS 〈 50%) or did not change correspondingly to RAS severity. The value ofeGFR in RAS group was lower than that in the no RAS group, but it did not decline parallel to the progressive severity of RAS. The microcirculation markers presented integral difference if grouped by different eGFR level with negative tendency, especially that plasma cystatin C (cysC) and urinary microalbumin to creatinine ratio (mACR) increased with the deterioration ofeGFR, with strong (r= -0.713, P 〈 0.001 ) and moderate (r = -0.580, P 〈 0.001 ) correlations. In the subgroup analysis of severe RAS (RAS 〉 80%), the levels of plasma cysC and urinary mACR demonstrated stronger negative associations with eGFR, (r = -0.827, P 〈 0.001) and (r= -0.672, P 〈 0.001 ) correlations, respectively. | 6 | Resveratrol induces AMPK and mTOR signaling inhibition-mediated autophagy and apoptosis in multiple myeloma cells显示文摘Resveratrol,a natural compound extracted from the skins of grapes,berries,or other fruits,has been shown to have anti-tumor effects against multiple myeloma(MM)via promoting apoptosis and inhibiting cell viability.In addition to apoptosis,autophagy also plays a significant role in anti-tumor effects.However,whether autophagy is involved in anti-MM activity of resveratrol remains unclear.In this study,human MM cell lines U266,RPMI-8226,and NCI-H929 were treated with resveratrol.Cell Counting Kit-8 assay and colony formation assay were used to measure cell viability.Western blot analysis was used to detect apoptosis-and autophagy-associated proteins.3-Methyladenine(3-MA)was applied to inhibit autophagy.Results showed that resveratrol inhibited cell viability and colony formation via promoting apoptosis and autophagy in MM cell lines U266,RPMI-8226,and NCI-H929.Resveratrol promoted apoptosis-related proteins,Caspase-3 activating poly-ADP-ribose polymerase and Caspase-3 cleavage,and decreased the protein level of Survivin in a dose-dependent manner.Additionally,resveratrol upregulated the levels of LC3 and Beclin1 in a dose-dependent way,indicating that autophagy might be implicated in anti-MM effect of resveratrol.Furthermore,3-MA relieved the cytotoxicity of resveratrol by blocking the autophagic flux.Resveratrol increased the phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase and decreased the phosphorylation of mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)and its downstream substrates p70S6K and 4EBP1 in a dose-dependent manner,leading to autophagy.Therefore,our results suggest that resveratrol exerts anti-MM effects through apoptosis and autophagy,which can be used as a new therapeutic strategy for MM in clinic. | Ruye Ma Dandan Yu Yu Peng Hongfei Yi Yingcong Wang Taofang Cheng Bingqing Shi Guang Yang Weiming Lai Xiaosong Wu Ye Lu Jumei Shi | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6: | 7 |
| 7 | Comparative investigation on soil salinity leaching under subsurface drainage and ditch drainage in Xinjiang arid region显示文摘This study was carried out to explore the effects of leaching salinity under subsurface drainage and mulched drip irrigation on saline and alkaline land from the year 2012 to 2014 in Xinjiang Region of China.Three sampled points were both set up in the subsurface drainage and ditch drainage areas.Soil samples were obtained at varied depths.Through observing the underground water table under each sampled point and measuring the electrical conductivity(EC)of the soil extracts,the following results were obtained:(1)after draining,the underground water table ranged from 1.6 m to 2.2 m in the ditch drainage area,and ranged from 1.5 m to 2.2 m in the subsurface drainage area.Thus,both irrigations could control underground water table below 1.5 m which is deeper than the main water-absorbing layers of crop root systems;(2)for subsurface drainage,the closer to the pipe,the better to leach salinity;decreased from the initial 13.54-22.95 g/kg to 8.20-11.47 g/kg;(3)compared with the amounts in 2012,soil total salt at each sampling point at depths of 0-200 cm in subsurface drainage area decreased by 42.99%,36.84%and 24.41%respectively in 2014;and in ditch drainage area decreased by 46.85%,38.12%and 30.80%respectively in 2014.The results showed both ditch and subsurface drainage could leach salinity effectively. | He Xinlin Liu Hongguang Ye Jianwei Yang Guang Li Mingsi Gong Ping Aernaguli Aimaiti | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,6: | 6 |
| 8 | Relationship between Migration and HIV Risky Behavior: a Comparative Study of Returning Migrants and Non Migrants Based on Rural Out-of-school Youth in Jilin, China显示文摘Objective To estimate the relationship between migration and HIV risky behavior when controlling for gender, age, and educational levels and to evaluate the gender differences in migration, HIV knowledge, and HIV risky behaviors among rural youth in China. Methods A cross-sectional, anonymous, investigative questionnaire for 1710 unmarried, out-of-school rural youth, aged between 15 and 24 years, was handed out in Gongzhuling county of Jilin province, China. Results 58.5% of participants had a history of migration, irrespective of gender. There were gender differences observed in other factors such as drug abuse(4.3% for males and 5.5% for females, P<0.01), multiple sexual partners(24.1% for males and 44.1% for females, P<0.01), and HIV knowledge rate(35.2% for males and 25.5% for females, P<0.001). While controlling for gender, age, and educational levels, the relationships between migration and drug abuse, selling sex, and non usage of condoms during last instance of sexual activity were found to be significant. The cases of premarital sex and multiple sexual partners were both not found to be related to migration. | 9 | Technique for Advanced Electrochemical Oxidation Treatment of Nanofiltration Concentrate of Landfill Leachate显示文摘Landfill leachate treated with combined process of 'pretreatment +biological treatment +advanced treatment(NF)' to produce nanofiltration concentrate, which bio-chemical ratio(B/C) is less than 0.1 and CODcr concentration is 2 000-2 500 mg/L, high salt content. Which cannot be discharged under existing environmental standards. According to analysis based on electrochemical advanced oxidation mechanism, a two-step electrochemical technique was recommended. In the first step, a pulse electrochemical technique was adopted. With Fe as consumption electrode and current density of 10 mA/cm2, the pollutants were removed by means of Fenton reaction, electroflotation and electrocoagulation. In the second step, a double function electrode was used to perform electrocatalytic oxidation by means of titanium metallic oxidates. In the condition that current density being 12.5 mA/cm2, the pollutants were further removed by oxidation and electrolytic deposition. | 10 | Oxidation behavior of Hf-modified platinum aluminide coatings during thermal cycling显示文摘Platinum aluminide coatings with different Hf contents were fabricated by using HfCl_4. The oxidation kinetics and the rumpling behavior of oxide scale were investigated. After thermal cycling, the coating with 0.46 wt% Hf showed least weight gain. With the increase of Hf content, rumpling extent of the scale decreased. Meanwhile, HfO_2 preferentially formed in the scale resulting in the increase of scale thickness. The oxidation of excessive Hf even caused the spallation of the scale. | 12 | Soil Nitrogen Distribution and Plant Nitrogen Utilization in Direct-Seeded Rice in Response to Deep Placement of Basal Fertilizer-Nitrogen显示文摘Deep placement of controlled-release fertilizer increases nitrogen (N) use efficiency in rice planting but is expensive. Few studies on direct-seeded rice have examined the effects of deep placement of conventional fertilizer. With prilled urea serving as N fertilizer, a two-year field experiment with two N rates (120 and 195 kg/hm2) and four basal N application treatments (B50, all fertilizer was broadcast with 50% as basal N;D50, D70 and D100 corresponded to 50%, 70% and 100% of N deeply placed as basal N, respectively) were conducted in direct-seeded rice in 2013 and 2014. Soil N distribution and plant N uptake were analyzed. The results showed that deep placement of basal N significantly increased total N concentrations in soil. Significantly greater soil N concentrations were observed in D100 compared with B50 at 0, 6 and 12 cm (lateral distance) from the fertilizer application point both at mid-tillering and heading stages. D100 presented the highest values of dry matter and N accumulation from seeding to mid-tillering stages, but it presented the lowest values from heading to maturity stages and the lowest grain yield for no sufficient N supply at the reproductive stage. The grain yield of D50 was the highest, however, no significant difference was observed in grain yield, N agronomic efficiency or N recovery efficiency between D70 and D50, or between D70 and B50, while D70 was more labor saving than D50 for only one topdressing was applied in D70 compared with twice in other treatments. The above results indicated that 70% of fertilizer-N deeply placed as a basal fertilizer and 30% of fertilizer-N topdressed as a panicle fertilizer constituted an ideal approach for direct-seeded rice. | 13 | Regeneration of Ag_XO@SBA-15 for reactive adsorptive desulfurization of fuel显示文摘Adsorbent regeneration is critical for a continuous adsorption–regeneration process and often underestimated. In this work,the regeneration of bifunctional AgXO@SBA-15 for [O]-induced reactive adsorptive desulfurization of liquid fuel is reported and further investigated. The spent AgXO@SBA-15 was regenerated in various types of solvents followed by calcination and tested in multiple desulfurization–regeneration cycles. The effects of regenerate solvents were also compared systematically. The original and regenerated AgXO@SBA-15 was characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, N_2 adsorption, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic absorption spectrometry. The recovery of desulfurization capacity using various solvents follows the order of acetonitrile [ acetone [ ethanol [ methanol [ water. Owing to the complete reduction of silver species to Ag^0 and severe agglomeration of Ag^0, the bifunctional AgXO@SBA-15 demonstrating [ 85%(2.60 mg-S/g) of sulfur removal dramatically reduced to \ 46%(1.56 mg-S/g) after only 1 st-cycle regeneration. It is suggested that polar organic species strongly adsorbed(or residual) on the spent AgXO@SBA-15, in that case, after solvent wash may contribute to the accelerated decomposition of Ag^+ to Ag^0 in the following calcination step. The desulfurization capacity decreased rather mildly in the later regeneration runs. | 14 | Effects of increasing panicle-stage N on yield and N use efficiency of indica rice and its relationship with soil fertility显示文摘Because of the higher nitrogen(N)recovery efficiency(NRE)of panicle-stage fertilization compared with basal and tillering fertilization,increasing the proportion of N topdressing at the booting stage(panicleN)is recommended and commonly practiced in parts of China.To investigate the effects of increasing panicle-N on grain yield and N use efficiency(NUE)and the relationships of the increase and the rice cultivar and soil fertility status,we increased the percentage of panicle-N from 20%to 40%by correspondingly reducing the N amount applied only at the tillering stage in both high-and low-fertility blue clayey paddy fields in 2018 and 2019.Four indica cultivars with diverse panicle types were used,and their grain yield,dry matter accumulation,and NUE were compared.In high-fertility soil,increasing topdressing panicle-N from 20%to 40%reduced tillering ability and reduced the effective panicle numbers of the multi-and medium-panicle cultivars Huanghuazhan(HHZ),C Liangyouhuazhan(CHZ),and Tianyouhuazhan(THZ).These cultivars gave the greatest yield when 30%of N was supplied as panicle fertilizer,whereas the yield,NRE,N agronomic efficiency(NAE),and nitrogen physiological efficiency(NPE)of the heavy-panicle inbred cultivar Yangdao 6(YD6)continued to increase,resulting in improved dry matter accumulation and grain filling in the late growth stage.The yield,NAE,NRE,and NPE of YD6 peaked when the panicle-N constituted 40%.While in low-fertility soil,the multipanicle cultivar HHZ showed the greatest yield when 30%of fertilizer-N was applied once at the panicle initiation(PI)stage,while the medium-panicle cultivar CHZ showed the greatest yield when the panicle-N percentage was 40%.Our results suggest that the percentage of panicle-N fertilizer should not exceed 30%for multipanicle cultivars,while can be appropriately increased to 40%for heavy-panicle indica cultivars.The effect of increasing topdressing panicle-N on the yield of medium-panicle cultivars was related to soil fertility.The optimum panicle-N percentage was 30%in the high-fertility soil and 40%in the low-fertility soil. | Chang Ye Hengyu Ma Xiu Huang Chunmei Xu Song Chen Guang Chu Xiufu Zhang Danying Wang | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,6: | 3 |
| 15 | Direct cardio-protection of Dapagliflozin against obesity-related cardiomyopathy via NHE1/MAPK signaling显示文摘Obesity is an important independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases,remaining an important health concern worldwide.Evidence shows that saturated fatty acid-induced inflammation in cardiomyocytes contributes to obesity-related cardiomyopathy.Dapagliflozin(Dapa),a selective SGLT2 inhibitor,exerts a favorable preventive activity in heart failure.In this study,we investigated the protective effect of Dapa against cardiomyopathy caused by high fat diet-induced obesity in vitro and in vivo.Cultured rat cardiomyocyte H9c2 cells were pretreated with Dapa(1,2.5μM)for 1.5 h,followed by treatment with palmitic acid(PA,200μM)for 24 h.We showed that Dapa pretreatment concentration-dependently attenuated PA-induced cell hypertrophy,fibrosis and apoptosis.Transcriptome analysis revealed that inhibition of PA-activated MAPK/AP-1 pathway contributed to the protective effect of Dapa in H9c2 cells,and this was confirmed by anti-p-cJUN fluorescence staining assay.Using surface plasmon resonance analysis we found the direct binding of Dapa with NHE1.Gain and loss of function experiments further demonstrated the role of NHE1 in the protection of Dapa.In vivo experiments were conducted in mice fed a high fat diet for 5 months.The mice were administered Dapa(1 mg·kg^(-1)·d^(-1),i.g.)in the last 2 months.Dapa administration significantly reduced the body weight and improved the serum lipid profiles.Dapa administration also alleviated HFD-induced cardiac dysfunction and cardiac aberrant remodeling via inhibiting MAPK/AP-1 pathway and ameliorating cardiac inflammation.In conclusion,Dapa exerts a direct protective effect against saturated fatty acid-induced cardiomyocyte injury in addition to the lowering effect on serum lipids.The protective effect results from negative regulating MAPK/AP-1 pathway in a NHE1-dependent way.The current study highlights the potential of clinical use of Dapa in the prevention of obesity-related cardiac dysfunction. | Ke Lin Na Yang Wu Luo Jin-fu Qian Wei-wei Zhu Shi-ju Ye Chen-xin Yuan Di-yun Xu Guang Liang Wei-jian Huang Pei-ren Shan | 2022 | Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,10: | 3 |
| 16 | Determination of levels of adenosine phosphates in blood by ion chromatography显示文摘A new method was developed for simultaneous determination of levels of AMP,ADP and ATP in blood by anion-exchange chromatography.The three adenosine phosphates were separated by Dionex IonPac AG18(50 mm×4 mm) guard column and IonPac AS 18(250 mm×4 mm) analytical column using a gradient method and detected with a suppressed conductivity detector. The 1/3 < 111] and 1/6 < 211] step dislocations on coherent twin boundaries reveal the interactions of glissile 1/2 < 101> dislocations with the coherent twin boundaries.An abnormal stacking fault was found adjacent to the coherent twin boundary.
