1Russia's Vision of the Belt and Road Initiative:From the Rivalry of the Great Powers to Forging a New Cooperation Model in Eurasia显示文摘The article aims to highlight Russian approaches to Chinese One Belt-One Roadinitiative. It examines possible opportunities and challenges for co-development of theEurasian Economic Union and the Belt project. Both projects and their co-developmentmay reduce the uncertainty in Eurasia, caused by significant structural changes ininternational relations and the world economy, the emergence of new trade regimesand the erosion of leadership in international affairs. Russian interests in this regardare determined by the need for modernization and long-term development, which couldalso help to address acute security issues. These particular factors encouraged Russiato come up with an ambitious plan of the Extensive Eurasian Partnership, although theprospects of its implementation currently are uncertain. 2A deep convolutional neural network for real-time full profile analysis of big powder diffraction data显示文摘We present Parameter Quantification Network(PQ-Net),a regression deep convolutional neural network providing quantitative analysis of powder X-ray diffraction patterns from multi-phase systems.The network is tested against simulated and experimental datasets of increasing complexity with the last one being an X-ray diffraction computed tomography dataset of a multi-phase Ni-Pd/CeO_(2)-ZrO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3) catalytic material system consisting of ca.20,000 diffraction patterns.It is shown that the network predicts accurate scale factor,lattice parameter and crystallite size maps for all phases,which are comparable to those obtained through full profile analysis using the Rietveld method,also providing a reliable uncertainty measure on the results.The main advantage of PQNet is its ability to yield these results orders of magnitude faster showing its potential as a tool for real-time diffraction data analysis during in situ/operando experiments.Hongyang Dong Keith T.Butler Dorota Matras Stephen W.T.Price Yaroslav Odarchenko Rahul Khatry Andrew Thompson Vesna Middelkoop Simon D.M.Jacques Andrew M.Beale Antonis Vamvakeros 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:5

4Expression of auxin synthesis gene tms1 under control of tuber-specific promoter enhances potato tuberization in vitro显示文摘Phytohormones, auxins in particular, play an important role in plant development and productivity.Earlier data showed positive impact of exogenous auxin on potato(Solanum tuberosum L.) tuberization. The aim of this study was to generate potato plants with increased auxin level predominantly in tubers. To this end, a p Bin B33-tms1 vector was constructed harboring the Agrobacterium auxin biosynthesis gene tms1 fused to tuber-speci fi c promoter of the class I patatin gene(B33-promoter) of potato. Among numerous independently generated B33:tms1 lines, those without visible differences from control were selected for detailed studies. In the majority of transgenic lines, tms1 gene transcription was detected, mostly in tubers rather than in shoots. Indoleacetic acid(IAA) content in tubers and the auxin tuber-to-shoot ratio were increased in tms1-expressing transformants. The organ-speci fi c increase in auxin synthesis in B33:tms1-transformants accelerated and intensi fi ed the process of tuber formation, reduced the dose of carbohydrate supply required for in vitro tuberRization, and decreased the photoperiodic dependence of tuber initiation. Overall, a positive correlation was observed between tms1 expression, IAA content in tubers,and stimulation of tuber formation. 7Large-size niobium disulfide nanoflakes down to bilayers grown by sulfurization显示文摘Atomically thin layers of group VB transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs)provide a unique platform for studying two-dimensional (2D) superconductivityand charge density waves. Thus far, the bottom-up synthesis of these 2D TMDshas often involved precursors that are corrosive or toxic, and their lateral sizesare typically only a few micrometers. In this paper, we report the growth ofNbS2 nanoflakes with a thickness down to bilayers and a lateral dimension upto tens of micrometers without using harsh chemical species. NbS2 nanoflakeseither standing or lying with respect to the sapphire substrate were obtained bysulfurization of niobium oxide films that were prepared via pulsed laser deposition.Standing nanoflakes are considered to grow epitaxiaUy on the sapphire substrateaccording to their ordered orientation, while lying nanoflakes with randomorientations were grown directly on top of the niobium oxide films. The Ramanspectra of the 3R-phase exhibit strong dependence on the layer thickness, wherethe A1 mode softens as the layer number decreases. In contrast to the stable bulkNbS2, the ultra-thin nanoflakes were oxidized on their top surfaces after prolongedexposure to air, as revealed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
