1Effect of defect complex on magnetic properties of (Fe, Mn)-doped ZnO thin films显示文摘We have observed room temperature ferromagnetism in Mn-doped and (Fe, Mn)-codoped ZnO thin films grown under different oxygen partial pressures by pulsed laser deposition. The X-ray diffraction and optical transmission spectra studies demonstrate the natural incorporation of Fe and Mn cations into wurtzite ZnO lattices. The effects of transition metal doping and defects on the magnetic properties was investigated. It is found that room temperature ferromagnetism is sensitive to oxygen vacancy and Zn vacancy. 2Quantifi cation of the Atmospheric Corrosion of 304 and 2205 Stainless Steels Using Electrochemical Probes Based on Thevenin Electrochemical Equivalent Circuit Model显示文摘Stainless steel(SS)is one of the most widely used engineering materials in marine engineering.However,its corrosion in the marine atmospheric environment due to the high concentration of Cl-is a problem.The SS corrosion is a threat to the development and security of marine industry;therefore,evaluating the corrosion resistance of SSs is necessary.In this work,atmospheric corrosion detection probes based on a symmetrical electrode system were used to study the corrosion behaviors of 304 SS and 2205 duplex stainless steel(DSS)in a simulated marine atmosphere.A theoretical model for electrochemical noise(EN)data analysis based on the Thevenin electrochemical equivalent circuit(EEC)model was established.The relationship between the EN characteristic parameters and the corrosion rate was obtained.The Thevenin EEC model analysis showed that the relationship between the noise resistance(Rn),the noise impedance[Rsn(f)],and the impedance modulus(|Z(f)|)was Rn≈Rsn=■.Thus,Rn and Rsn can be used as indicators for quantitative corrosion evaluation.The results of EN detection for the 304 SS and 2205 DSS showed that in a simulated marine atmospheric environment,the passive fi lms on the two SSs were relatively intact at the initial exposure stage,and their dissolution rates were slow.The corrosion resistance of the 2205 DSS was higher than that of the 304 SS.With the deposition of Cl-on the SS surface,pitting was initiated and the dissolution rate increased.The pitting initiation process on the SS surface was random,and part of the active pores could be repassivated.Yu Zhu Yang Song Likun Xu Zhenbo Qin Shizhe Song Wenbin Hu Da-Hai Xia 2020Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,3:2

6Downward continuation of aeromagnetic data to the marine surface显示文摘The existing methods of downward continuation of potential field cannot be used to continue the aeromagnetic data to the marine surface because of the limited continuation distance. An iteration method for the downward continuation of potential field with a much larger continuation distance has been developed,which can continue the aeromagnetic data to the marine surface and get the marine-magnetic chart with the same scale as the aeromagnetic data.This downward continuation method will greatly raise the efficiency of marine-magnetic investigation. The principle of the iteration method is presented. The method is demonstrated on synthetic models and real aeromagnetic data. Also,the error brought by continuation is discussed. 7Robustness of structural superlubricity beyond rigid models显示文摘Structural superlubricity is a theoretical concept stating that the friction force is absent between two rigid,incommensurate crystalline surfaces.However,elasticity of the contact pairs could modify the lattice registry at interfaces by nucleating local slips,favoring commeasure.The validity of structural superlubricity is thus concerned for large-scale systems where the energy cost of elastic distortion to break the lattice registry is low.In this work,we study the size dependence of superlubricity between single-crystal graphite flakes.Molecular dynamics simulations show that with nucleation and propagation of out-of-plane dislocations and strained solitons at Bernal interfaces,the friction force is reduced by one order of magnitude.Elastic distortion is much weaker for non-Bernal or incommensurate ones,remaining notable only at the ends of contact.Lattice self-organization at small twist angles perturbs the state of structural superlubricity through a reconstructed potential energy surface.Theoretical models are developed to illustrate and predict the interfacial elastoplastic behaviors at length scales beyond those in the simulations.These results validate the rigid assumption for graphitic superlubricity systems at microscale,and reveal the intrinsic channels of mechanical energy dissipation.The understandings lay the ground for the design of structural superlubricity applications.Shizhe FENG Zhiping XU 2022Friction2022,10,9:0
8Carbazole-Based Donor-Acceptor Conjugated Microporous Polymers for Efficient Visible-Light-Driven Photocatalytic H_(2) Evolution显示文摘Conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) featuring extended π-structures, large specific surface area and tailor-made functionalities are a class of promising organic photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) from water. However, the photocatalytic activities of most CMPs are severely hindered by slow charge transfer rate and fast charge recombination process. Herein, we develop a strategy for the synthesis of donor-acceptor CMPs through nickel(0)-catalyzed Yamamoto cross-coupling of 3,6-dibromo-9-(4-bromophenyl)carbazole (CZ) with 5,5'-dibromo-2,2'-bipyridine (DBPy) for efficient HER from water. The PCZN-4 prepared with a 2 : 3 stoichiometric ratio of CZ to DBPy exhibited the highest photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate of 7160 μmol·g^(–1)·h^(–1), which was nearly equal to 179 times and 143 times that of PCZN-1 (40 μmol·g^(–1)·h^(–1)) and PCZN-6 (50 μmol·g^(–1)·h^(–1)) obtained by Yamamoto homocoupling of CZ and DBPy, respectively. Compared to the homocoupling counterparts, the enhanced photocatalytic activity of PCZN-4 results from improved separation efficiency of charge carriers. Interestingly, the photocatalytic H2 evolution performance of PCZN-4 could be further improved up to 17080 μmol·g^(–1)·h^(–1) by adjusting pH of the aqueous solution.
