1Policy iteration based Q-learning for linear nonzero-sum quadratic differential games显示文摘In this paper, a policy iteration-based Q-learning algorithm is proposed to solve infinite horizon linear nonzero-sum quadratic differential games with completely unknown dynamics. The Q-learning algorithm, which employs off-policy reinforcement learning(RL), can learn the Nash equilibrium and the corresponding value functions online, using the data sets generated by behavior policies. First, we prove equivalence between the proposed off-policy Q-learning algorithm and an offline PI algorithm by selecting specific initially admissible polices that can be learned online. Then, the convergence of the off-policy Qlearning algorithm is proved under a mild rank condition that can be easily met by injecting appropriate probing noises into behavior policies. The generated data sets can be repeatedly used during the learning process, which is computationally effective. 2The YDA-MKK4/MKK5-MPK3/MPK6 Cascade Functions Downstream of the RGF1-RGI Ligand-Receptor Pair in Regulating Mitotic Activity in Root Apical Meristem显示文摘The mitotic activity of root apical meristem(RAM)is critical to primary root growth and development.Previous studies have identified the roles of ROOT GROWTH FACTOR 1(RGF1),a peptide ligand,and its receptors,RGF1 INSENSITIVEs(RGIs),a clade of five leucine-rich-repeat receptor-like kinases,in promoting cell division in the RAM,which determines the primary root length.However,the downstream signaling components remain elusive.In this study,we identify a complete mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK or MPK)cascade,composed of YDA,MKK4/MKK5,and MPK3/MPK6,that functions downstream of the RGF1-RGI ligand-receptor pair.Similar to the rgi1/2/3/4/5 quintuple mutant,loss-of-function mutants of MPK3 and MPK6,MKK4 and MKK5,or YDA show a short-root phenotype,which is associated with reduced mitotic activity and lower expression of PLETHORA 1(PLT1)/PLT2 in the RAM.Furthermore,MPK3/MPK6 activation in response to exogenous RGF1 treatment is impaired in the rgi1/2/3/4/5 quintuple,yda single,and mkk4 m kk5 double mutants.Epistatic analyses demonstrated that the expression of constitutively active MKK4,MKK5,or YDA driven by the RGI2 promoter can rescue the short-root phenotype of the rgi1/2/3/4/5 mutant.Taken together,these results suggest that the YDA-MKK4/MKK5-MPK3/MPK6 cascade functions downstream of the RGF1-RGI ligand-receptor pair and upstream of PLT1/PLT2 to modulate the stem cell population and primary root growth in Arabidopsis.Yiming Shao Xinxing Yu Xuwen Xu Yong Li Wenxin Yuan Yan Xu Chuanzao Mao Shuqun Zhang Juan Xu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,11:6
3Rod-shape inorganic biomimetic mutual-reinforcing MnO2-Au nanozymes for catalysis-enhanced hypoxic tumor therapy显示文摘Biomimetic nanozymes possessing natural enzyme-mimetic activities have been extensively applied in nanocatalytic tumor therapy.However,engineering hybrid biomimetic nanozymes to achieve superior nanozyme activity remained to be an intractable challenge in hypoxic tumors.Herein,a rod-like biomimetic hybrid inorganic MnO2-Au nanozymes are developed,where MnO2 and ultrasmall Au nanoparticles(NPs)are successively deposited on the mesoporous silica nanorod to cooperatively improve the O2 content and thermal sensitivity of hypoxic solid tumors guided by multi-modal imaging.Under the catalyzing of MnO2,the intratumoral H2O2 is decomposed to greatly accelerate O2 generation,which could boost the curative effect of radiation therapy(RT)and further enhance the Au-catalyzed glucose oxidation.Mutually,the Au NPs can steadily and efficiently catalyze the oxidation of glucose in harsh tumor microenvironment,thus sensitizing tumor cells to thermal ablation for mild photothermal therapy and further promoting the catalytic efficiency of MnO2 with the self-supplied H2O2/H+.As a result,this mutual-reinforcing cycle can endow the nanoplatform with accelerated O2 generation,thus alleviating hypoxic environment and further boosting RT effect.Furthermore,acute glucose consuming can induce downregulation expression of heat shock protein(HSP),achieving starvation-promoted mild photothermal therapy.This synthesized hybrid nanozymes proves to be a versatile theranostic agent for nanocatalytic cancer therapy.Lifang Yang Chuchu Ren Min Xu Yilin Song Qianglan Lu Yule Wang Yan Zhu Xinxing Wang Nan Li 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:5

5Online adaptive Q-learning method for fully cooperative linear quadratic dynamic games显示文摘A model-based offline policy iteration(PI) algorithm and a model-free online Q-learning algorithm are proposed for solving fully cooperative linear quadratic dynamic games. The PI-based adaptive Q-learning method can learn the feedback Nash equilibrium online using the state samples generated by behavior policies, without sending inquiries to the system model. Unlike the existing Q-learning methods, this novel Q-learning algorithm executes both policy evaluation and policy improvement in an adaptive manner.We prove the convergence of the offline PI algorithm by proving its equivalence to Newton’s method while solving the game algebraic Riccati equation(GARE). Furthermore, we prove that the proposed Q-learning method will converge to the Nash equilibrium under a small learning rate if the method satisfies certain persistence of excitation conditions, which can be easily met by suitable behavior policies. 6Short-working-distance optical imaging system and method for surface detection of underwater structures显示文摘In the surface imaging of underwater structures, long working distance will reduce image quality due to the turbidity of water. To acquire high definition and large field of view(FOV) images for surface detection, a short-working-distance underwater imaging system is proposed based on camera array. A multi-view calibration and rectification method is developed. A look-up table(LUT) method and a multi-resolution spline(MRS) method are applied to stitch array images real-time and seamlessly.Experiments both in the air and in the water are conducted. 7Controllable photonic spin Hall effect with phase function construction显示文摘Photonic spin Hall efect(SHE)provides new opportunities for achieving spin-based photonics applications.However,flexibly manipulating the spin-dependent sltting(SDS)of photonic SHE and imposing extra phase modulation on the two spin components are always a challenge.Here,a controllable SHE mechanism based on phase function construction is reported.It is conduded that the phases with specific functional structures performing a coordinate translation are equivalent to integrating a gradient phase to the original phases.Hence,the original phase can be used for independent phase modulation,and the gradient phase originating from the co-ordinate translation is capable of manipulating the SDS.A metasurface with Pancharatnam-Berry phase that can impose conjugate phases to the two spin components of light is fabricated to verify this mechanism.By shifing the light position,the SDS is continuously manipulated in the visible region,which is successfully used for detecting the polarization llipticity.The extra phase modulation is also performed with the original phase and thus enables measuring singular beams.It is anticipated that the controllable SHE manipulation method may open new avenues in the fields of spin photonics,optical sensing,optical communications,etc.YANLIANG HE ZHIQIANG XIE BO YANG XUEYU CHEN JUNMIN LIU HUAPENG YE XINXING ZHOU YING LI SHUQING CHEN DIANYUAN FAN 2020Photonics Research2020,8,6:3
8Review of the Metallogenic Regularity of Magnesite Deposits in China显示文摘China has abundant reserves of magnesite, making it the world's leading source of this strategic mineral.Sparry magnesite is the main type of magnesite deposit, and is easy to exploit.It occurs mainly as the sedimentary-metamorphic type.Production is centred on eastern Liaoning Province, where a world-class large to super large magnesite ore processing and production facility has been developed.Hydrothermal metasomatic deposits, associated with ultramafic complexes and eluvial deposits produced by weathering, are two other important types found in China.The Western section of the Bangonghu-Nujiang metallogenic belt is an important target region for prospecting lake-sedimentary magnesite deposits.Based on a systematic analysis of material from 62 magnesite production areas, this study investigated the metallogeny of magnesite and delineated 13 magnesite metallogenic belts.Maps were produced showing metallogenic regularities in magnesite deposits, the metallogenic system of the magnesite deposits, and the distribution of the metallogenic belts of Chinese magnesite deposits.It provides a theoretical basis for forecasting the location of potential magnesite resources in China.Finally, it explores some key scientific issues, including the formation processes of ultra magnesite ore-concentrated areas, and their sources of magnesium.ZHAO Zheng CUI Xiaolin WANG Denghong CHEN Yuchuan BAI Ge LI Jiankang LIU Xinxing 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,5:3
9The effect of carbon nanotubes on osteogenic functions of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells in vitro and bone formation in vivo compared with that of nano-hydroxyapatite and the possible mechanism显示文摘It has been well recognized that the development and use of artificial materials with high osteogenic ability is one of the most promising means to replace bone grafting that has exhibited various negative effects.The biomimetic features and unique physiochemical properties of nanomaterials play important roles in stimulating cellular functions and guiding tissue regeneration.But efficacy degree of some nanomaterials to promote specific tissue formation is still not clear.We hereby comparatively studied the osteogenic ability of our treated multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MCNTs)and the main inorganic mineral component of natural bone,nano-hydroxyapatite(nHA)in the same system,and tried to tell the related mechanism.In vitro culture of human adiposederived mesenchymal stem cells(HASCs)on the MCNTs and nHA demonstrated that although there was no significant difference in the cell adhesion amount between on the MCNTs and nHA,the cell attachment strength and proliferation on the MCNTs were better.Most importantly,the MCNTs could induce osteogenic differentiation of the HASCs better than the nHA,the possible mechanism of which was found to be that the MCNTs could activate Notch involved signaling pathways by concentrating more proteins,including specific bone-inducing ones.Moreover,the MCNTs could induce ectopic bone formation in vivo while the nHA could not,which might be because MCNTs could stimulate inducible cells in tissues to form inductive bone better than nHA by concentrating more proteins including specific bone-inducing ones secreted from M2 macrophages.Therefore,MCNTs might be more effective materials for accelerating bone formation even than nHA.Zhipo Du Xinxing Feng Guangxiu Cao Zhending She Rongwei Tan Katerina E.Aifantis Ruihong Zhang Xiaoming Li 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,2:3
10Metabolic regulation of T cell development by Sinl-mTORC2 is mediated by pyruvate kinase M2显示文摘Glucose metabolism plays a key role in thymocyte development. The mammalian target of rapamycin complex 2 (mT0RC2) is a critical regulator of cell growth and metabolism, but its role in early thymocyte development and metabolism has not been fully studied. We show here that genetic ablation of Sinl, an essential component of mTORC2, in T lineage cells results in severely impaired thymocyte development at the CD4^- CD8^- double negative (DN) stages but not at the CD4^+ CD8^+ double positive (DP) or later stages. Notably, Sinl-deficient DN thymocytes show markedly reduced proliferation and glycolysis.Importantly, we discover that the M2 isoform of pyruvate kinase (PKM2) is a novel and crucial Sinl effector in promoting DN thymocyte development and metabolism. At the molecular level, we show that Sinl-mTORC2 controls PKM2 expression through an AKT-dependent PPAR-y nuclear translocation. 11High level architecture evolved modular federation object model显示文摘To improve the agility,dynamics,composability,reusability,and development efficiency restricted by monolithic federation object model(FOM),a modular FOM is proposed by high level architecture(HLA)evolved product development group.This paper reviews the state-of-the-art of HLA evolved modular FOM.In particular, related concepts,the overall impact on HLA standards,extension principles,and merging processes are discussed. 12Analysis of GNSS radio occultation data from satellite ZH-01显示文摘The electromagnetic satellite Zhangheng 01(ZH-01) was successfully launched on February 2, 2018. The GNSS Radio Occultation(GRO) receiver on board the satellite is able to observe the occultation events of GPS and BeiDou navigation satellites. We analyzed the data acquired during the in-orbit testing period. We concludes that the GRO ionosphere inversion results are reasonable,the trend is correct, the satellite can observe about 600 ionosphere occultation events each day. The global coverage of more than 30000 consecutive GRO events in more than two months were analyzed and compared with COSMIC observations: both the GRO and COSMIC occultation can realize global coverage: the Nm F2 and Hm F2 global distributions are similar and change obviously with latitude. 14HPV16E7-HSP70 Hybrid DNA Vaccine Induces E7-Specific Cytotoxic T Cells and Antitumor Immunity显示文摘Using human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16) E7 as an antigen and Heat Shock Protein 70 as adjuvant, we constructed a DNA vaccine by linking HSP70 gene to E7~ C91G gene. Mice, after being immunized with E7~ C91G -HSP70, E7~ C91G /HSP70, E7~ C91G , and wild E7 DNA vaccines respectively, produced E7 specific CD8^+ T-cell precursor frequencies of 280.33±2.52, 144.34±4.04, 164.34±5.13 and 82.33±3.51 respectively within every 1×10~5 mouse splenocytes. This proves that E7~ C91G -HSP70 fusion vaccine can significantly enhance the E7 specific cellular immunity within the mice body(p<0.01). After being immunized with E7~ C91G -HSP70 fusion vaccine, tumor-bearing mice of the group being treated have significantly longer latency and survival periods, comparing with other three categories of E7 vaccines. Experiment shows that this vaccine has a significant effect on enhancing E7 positive tumor-treatment within mice body. After being immunized with E7~ C91G -HSP70 vaccine, there were no pathological changes found in livers, kidneys and spleens of the mice, which proves that the vaccine is quite safe. 16Distributed cache replacement method for geospatial data using spatiotemporal localitybased sequence显示文摘Specific features of tile access patterns can be applied in a cache replacement strategy to a limited distributed high-speed cache for the cloud-based networked geographic information services(NGISs),aiming to adapt to changes in the access distribution of hotspots.By taking advantage of the spatiotemporal locality,the sequential features in tile access patterns,and the cache reading performance in the burst mode,this article proposes a tile sequence replacement method,which involves structuring a Least Recently Used(LRU)stack into three portions for the different functions in cache replacement and deriving an expression for the temporal locality and popularity of the relevant tile to facilitate the replacement process.Based on the spatial characteristics of both the tiles and the cache burst mode with regard to reading data,the proposed method generates multiple tile sequences to reflect spatiotemporal locality in tile access patterns.Then,we measure the caching value by a technique based on a weighted-based method.This technique draws on the recent access popularity and low caching costs of tile sequences,with the aim of balancing the temporal and spatial localities in tile access.It ranks tile sequences in a replacement queue to adapt to the changes in accessed hotspots while reducing the replacement frequency.Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively improves the hit rate and utilization rate for a limited distributed cache while achieving satisfactory response performance and high throughput for users in an NGIS.Therefore,it can be adapted to handle numerous data access requests in NGISs in a cloud-based environment.Rui LI Jiapei FAN Xinxing WANG Zhen ZHOU Huayi WU 2015Geo-Spatial Information Science2015,18,4:1
17Classification of facial nerve aberration in congenital malformation of middle ear:Implications for surgery of hearing restoration显示文摘Objectives: Facial nerve aberration is the most troublesome situation in congenital malformations of middle ear.The aim of our study is to investigate its imaging and clinical features as well as relevant choice of surgical techniques for hearing improvement.Methods: A retrospective study involving review of clinical data of 227 patients(256 ears) with congenital middle ear anomaly was undertaken, including preoperative computed tomography(CT) data, surgical records and videos.Results: Aberration involving intratemporal facial nerve was found in 82/256 ears(32.03%) with congenital middle ear anomaly. The most common forms of aberration included overhanging over the oval window(50/82 ears, 60.98%), bifurcation(3/82 ears, 3.66%) and transverse over the promontory(3/82 ears, 3.66%), counting for 68.29%(56/82) of the cases with facial nerve aberration. Concomitant stapes malformation was found in 76/82 ears(92.68%) and atresia or stenosis of the oval window in 27/82 ears(32.93%). In 9/82 ears(10.98%) both stapes and oval window was absent. Elective surgeries for the purpose of hearing improvement included stapodotomy + piston implantation, labyrinthotomy, labyrinthotomy + total ossicular replacement prosthesis(TORP) implantation and Vibrant Soundbridge(VSB) implantation.Conclusion: The majority of facial nerve aberration in congenital malformation of middle ear involves displacement of facial nerve, in addition to concomitant malformations of the stapes and/or oval window, which may influence the choice of surgery for hearing improvement. 18Expression pattern and regulation of head-to-head genes Vps36 and Ckap2 during chicken follicle development显示文摘Vacuolar protein sorting 36(VPS36),a protein primarily known for its role in the Endosomal Sorting Complex Required for Transport pathway,has recently been shown to be linked to chicken reproduction.Previous research showed that Vps36 is significantly downregulated in sexually mature chicken ovaries compared to immature ones.In this study,using real-time quantitative RT-PCR,we investigated the expression pattern of Vps36 and its head-to-head gene Ckap2 mRNA in chicken follicles.Small white follicles were found to have significantly higher expression of Vps36 and Ckap2 mRNA than any other sized follicles(P<0.05).The expression of Vps36 and Ckap2 mRNA were detected in both granulosa and theca layers of pre-ovulatory follicles,the expression of Ckap2 in theca layers was slightly higher than in granulosa cells.Treatment of small yellow follicles with folliclestimulating hormone and estradiol resulted in a marked decrease of both Vps36 and Ckap2 mRNA(P<0.05);however,progesterone,transforming growth factor-β1 and luteinizing hormone induced no significant changes in Vps36 and Ckap2 mRNA expression in these follicles.These results indicate that the head-to-head genes of Vps36 and Ckap2 exhibit similar expression in chicken follicles and are involved in chicken follicle development.Xinxing CUI Chunhong YANG Li KANG Guiyu ZHU Qingqing WEI Yunliang JIANG 2014Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2014,1,2:1
