3In situ optical backpropagation training of diffractive optical neural networks显示文摘Training an artificial neural network with backpropagation algorithms to perform advanced machine learning tasks requires an extensive computational process.This paper proposes to implement the backpropagation algorithm optically for in situ training of both linear and nonlinear diffractive optical neural networlks,which enables the acceleration of training speed and improvement in energy efficiency on core computing modules.We demonstrate that the gradient of a loss function with respect to the weights of diffractive layers can be accurately calculated by measuring the forward and backward propagated optical fields based on light reciprocity and phase conjunction principles.The diffractive modulation weights are updated by programming a high-speed spatial light modulator to minimize the error between prediction and target output and perform inference tasks at the speed of light.We numerically validate the effectiveness of our approach on simulated networks for various applications.The proposed in situ optical learning architecture achieves accuracy comparable to in silico training with an electronic computer on the tasks of object dlassification and matrix-vector multiplication,which further allows the diffractive optical neural network to adapt to system imperfections.Also,the self-adaptive property of our approach facilitates the novel application of the network for all-optical imaging through scattering media.The proposed approach paves the way for robust implementation of large-scale difractive neural networks to perform distinctive tasks all-optically.TIANKUANG ZHOU LU FANG TAO YAN JIAMIN WU YIPENG LI JINGTAO FAN HUAQIANG WU XING LIN QIONGHAI DA 2020Photonics Research2020,8,6:11
4A 12-year cohort study on the efficacy of plasmaderived hepatitis B vaccine in rural newborns显示文摘AIM To understand the anti-HBs persistenceand the long-term preventive efficacy in ruralnewborns after vaccination with plasma-derivedhepatitis B vaccine.METHODS In the time of expanded program onimmunization(EPI),the newborns werevaccinated with 10μg×3 doses of hepatitis Bvaccine and 762 newborns who were HBsAgnegative after primary immunization wereselected for cohort observation from 1986 to1998.Their serum samples were detectedqualitatively and quantitatively for hepatitis Binfecting markers,including HBsAg,anti-HBsand anti-HBc by SPRIA Kits.The annual HBsAgpositive conversion rate was counted by life-table method.RESULTS①The anti-HBs positive rate was94.44% for the babies born to HBsAg negativemothers and 84.21% for those born to HBsAgpositive mothers in the 1st year afterimmunization,and dropped to 51.31% and52.50% in the 12th year respectively.GMT valuewas dropped from 31.62 to 3.13 and 23.99 to 3.65in the 2nd to the 12th year respectively.Therewas a marked drop in GMT at the 3rd to the 5thyear,and in anti-HBs positive rate at the 9th tothe 10th year.②In the period of 12 yearsobservation,the person-year HBsAg positive conversion rates were 0.12%(5/4150.0)innewborns born to HBsAg negative mothers and0.20%(1/508.0)in those born to HBsAgpositive mothers,and none of the HBsAgpositive converted children became HBsAgchronic carriers.Compared with the baselinebefore immunization,the protective rates were97.19% and 95.32% respectively.CONCLUSION The protective efficacy ofplasma-derived hepatitis B vaccine persisted atleast 12 years,and a booster dose seems notnecessary within at least 12 years after theprimary three-doses immunization to newbornsborn to HBsAg negative mothers.Hong Bin Liu Zong Da Meng Jing Chen Ma Chang Quan Han Ying Lin Zhang Zhan Chun Xing Yu Wei Zhang Yu Zhong Liu Hui Lin Cao 2000World Journal of Gastroenterology2000,6,3:11

6A Novel Semiconductor CIGS Photovoltaic Material and Thin-Film ED Technology显示文摘In order to achieve low cost high efficiency thin film solar cells,a novel Semiconductor Photovoltaic (PV) active material CuIn 1-x Ga x Se 2 (CIGS) and thin film Electro Deposition (ED) technology is explored.Firstly,the PV materials and technologies is investigated,then the detailed experimental processes of CIGS/Mo/glass structure by using the novel ED technology and the results are reported.These results shows that high quality CIGS polycrystalline thin films can be obtained by the ED method,in which the polycrystalline CIGS is definitely identified by the (112),(204,220) characteristic peaks of the tetragonal structure,the continuous CIGS thin film layers with particle average size of about 2μm of length and around 1 6μm of thickness.The thickness and solar grade quality of CIGS thin films can be produced with good repeatability.Discussion and analysis on the ED technique,CIGS energy band and sodium (Na) impurity properties,were also performed.The alloy CIGS exhibits not only increasing band gap with increasing x ,but also a change in material properties that is relevant to the device operation.The beneficial impurity Na originating from the low cost soda lime glass substrate becomes one prerequisite for high quality CIGS films.These novel material and technology are very useful for low cost high efficiency thin film solar cells and other devices.ZHENG Guang fu 1,YANG Hong xing 1,MAN Cheuk ho 1,WONG Wing lok 2, AN Da wei 1 and John BURNETT 1(1 Centre for Development of Solar Energy Technology,Department of Building Services Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University,Hong Kong,C 2001Journal of Semiconductors2001,22,11:10
7Applying the China-PAR Risk Algorithm to Assess 10-year Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in Populations Receiving Routine Physical Examinations in Eastern China显示文摘Objective To assess the 10-year Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease(ASCVD) risk score among adults in eastern China using the China-PAR equation which formulated primarily for the Chinese population. Methods Data from 72,129 individuals from 35-74 years old who received routine physical examinations in eastern China were analyzed in this study. The 10-year risk scores were calculated using the China-PAR equation. The chi-square test and logistic regression were then performed to evaluate the association between the selected risk factors and overall CVD risk. Results The mean 10-year ASCVD risk scores were 3.82% ± 3.76% in men and 1.30% ± 1.65% in women based on the China-PAR equation. Overall, 20% of men and 3.5% of women were intermediate-risk, and 7.3% of men and 0.3% of women were high-risk. Waist to hip ratio(WHR) [OR = 1.16(CI 95% = 1.06-1.26)], waist to height ratio(WHtR) [OR = 1.16(CI 95% = 1.05-1.28)], non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(non-HDL-C) [OR = 1.23(CI 95% = 1.09-1.39)], and total cholesterol(TC)/HDL-C [OR = 1.68(CI 95% = 1.46-1.94)] were more strongly associated with CVD risk than body-mass index(BMI), waist circumference(WC), and TC alone. Conclusion Male-specific prevention and treatment strategies for ASCVD are needed in eastern China. 9An action-based Markov chain modeling approach for predicting the window operating behavior in office spaces显示文摘Reliable energy and performance prediction for building design and planning is important for newly-designed or retrofitted buildings.Window operating behavior has an important influence on the ventilation and energy consumption of these buildings under different realistic scenarios.Therefore,quantitatively describing this behavior and constructing a prediction model are important.In this work,an action-based Markov chain modeling approach for predicting window operating behavior in office spaces was proposed.Two summer measurement data(2016 and 2018)were used to verify the accuracy and validity of the modeling approach.The opening rate,outdoor temperature,time distribution,and on-off curve were proposed as four inspection standards.This study also compared the prediction performance between the action-based Markov chain modeling approach with the state-based Markov chain modeling approach,which is the most popular modeling approach to model occupant window operating behavior.This study proved that the yearly variation of occupants’behavior performed a form of action that remained unchanged during a certain period.Meanwhile,the results also proved that the action-based Markov chain modeling approach can reflect the actual window operating behavior accurately within an open-plan office,which is a beneficial supplement for energy-consumption simulation software in a window-state prediction module.The state-based Markov chain modeling approach showed better stability and accuracy in terms of the opening rate,whereas the action-based Markov chain modeling approach showed good consistency with the measurement data in the on-off curves and in situations with little data.For the on-off curves,the accuracy of action-based modeling approach in the prediction of window open-state is 20%higher.Xin Zhou Tiance Liu Da Yan Xing Shi Xing Jin 2021Building Simulation2021,14,2:7

15High sensitive detection of presenilin-1 point mutation based on electrochemilumi-nescence显示文摘Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) is a high- sensitive detection method with broad biological applications. Ruthenium (Ⅱ) tris (bipyridyl) 2+3(Ru(bpy)) and tripro-pylamine (TPA) are most commomly used combination of the reactive species in ECL. The redox of 2+3Ru(bpy) with excess TPA at the surface of an electrode produces a highly efficient and stable light emission due to a rapid cycle of the reactions. This rapid, highly sensitive and accurate method has been applied to gene quantification. In this work, an ECL detection system is designed and applied in detection of presenilin-1 (PS-1) gene mutation. The results show that given the same polymerase chain reaction (PCR) cycle num-ber, the ECL intensities from the digested and the undigested wild-type samples are nearly identical, but the difference in ECL intensities between the digested and the undigested mutant samples is distinctive. 17Defect-rich titanium nitride nanoparticle with high microwaveacoustic conversion efficiency for thermoacoustic imaging-guided deep tumor therapy显示文摘Pulse microwave excite thermoacoustic(TA)shockwave to destroy tumor cells in situ.This has promising applications for precise tumor therapy in deep tissue.Nanoparticle(NP)with high microwave-acoustic conversion is the key to enhance the efficiency of therapy.In this study,we firstly developed defect-rich titanium nitride nanoparticles(TiN NPs)for pulse microwave excited thermoacoustic(MTA)therapy.Due to a large number of local structural defects and charge carriers,TiN NPs exhibit excellent electromagnetic absorption through the dual mechanisms of dielectric loss and resistive loss.With pulsed microwave irradiation,it efficiently converts the microwave energy into shockwave via thermocavitation effect,achieving localized mechanical damage of mitochondria in the tumor cell and yielding a precise antitumor effect.In addition to the therapeutic function,the NP-mediated TA process also generates images that provide valuable information,including tumor size,shape,and location for treatment planning and monitoring.The experimental results showed that the TiN NPs could be efficiently accumulated in the tumor via intravenous infusion.With the deep tissue penetration characteristics of microwave,the proposed TiN-mediated MTA therapy effectively and precisely cures tumors in deep tissue without any detectable side effects.The results indicated that defect-rich TiN NPs are promising candidates for tumor therapy.Zhujun Wu Fanchu Zeng Le Zhang Shuxiang Zhao Linghua Wu Huan Qin Da Xing 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:4
18Synchronous detection of glutathione/hydrogen peroxide for monitoring redox status in vivo with a ratiometric upconverting nanoprobe显示文摘Cellular redox status presents broad implications with diverse physiological and pathological processes. Simultaneous detection of both the oxidative and reductive species of redox couples, especially the most representative pair glutathione/hydrogen peroxide (GSH/H2O2), is crucial to accurately map the cellular redox status. However, it still remains challenging to synchronously detect GSH/H2O2 in vivo due to lack of a reliable measuring tool. Herein, a ratiometric nanoprobe (UCNP-TB) possessing simultaneous delectability of GSH/H2O2 is established based on a multi-spectral upconverti ng nano phosphor (UCNP-OA) as the lumin esce nee res onance energy tran sfer (LRET) donor and two dye molecules as the acceptors, including a GSH-sensitive dye (TCG) and a H2O2-sensitive dye (BCH). With the as-prepared UCNP-TB, real-time and synchronous monitoring the variation of GSH and H2O2 in vitro and in living mice can be achieved using the ratio of the upcon versi on lumin esce nee (UCL) at 540 and 650 nm to that at 800 nm as the detecti on sign al, respectively, providi ng highly inhere nt reliability of the sensing results by self-calibrati on. Moreover, the nan oprobe is capable of mappi ng the redox status within the drug-resista nt tumor and the drug-induced hepatotoxic liver via ratiometric UCL imaging. 19Sensitive monitoring of RNA transcription levels using a graphene oxide fluorescence switch显示文摘Catalytic transfer of genetic information from DNA to RNA is very important in life activities. The unconventional RNA transcription level may be related to the source of genetic diseases. At present, conventional methods for detection of RNA transcripts usually involve cumbersome preparative steps, or require sophisticated laboratory equipments. In this study, we presented a rapid, sensitive nano-detection platform for monitoring of RNA transcript levels. T7 RNA polymerase transcription reaction is employed as the example to test the feasibility of this method. In this design, in vitro synthesized RNA products can be hybridized to the FAM labeled single strand DNA (ssDNA) probes which can be adsorbed onto the graphene oxide (GO) surface. Using GO as the fluorescence switch, excellent capacity of the signal-on fluorescence platform for detection of RNA transcripts level is demonstrated. Transcription levels sensing with this nano-platform achieved a sensitivity of 5 pmol/L transcription template. 20Effect of long-term fertilization on soil nitrate distribution显示文摘A thirteen years long term field fertilizer experiment was conducted to monitor the effect of different fertilization on soil nitrate distribution. The results showed: (1) Applying relative excessive N fertilizer could result large quantities of NO - 3 residue and NO - 3 movement downward in soil profiles; amending phosphate fertilizer or organic manure with nitrogen fertilizer together could significantly improve the status of NO - 3 leaching downward due to the balanced uptake of nutrients by crops. (2) Appropriate amounts of nitrogen fertilizer which was equal or smaller than the optimal fertilization rate could not result in more NO - 3 leaching in Northern China.
