13D-printable supramolecular hydrogels with shear-thinning property: fabricating strength tunable bioink via dual crosslinking显示文摘3-dimensional(3D)bioprinting technology provides promising strategy in the fabrication of artificial tissues and organs.As the fundamental element in bioprinting process,preparation of bioink with ideal mechanical properties without sacrifice of biocompatibility is a great challenge.In this study,a supramolecular hydrogel-based bioink is prepared by polyethylene glycol(PEG)grafted chitosan,α-cyclodextrin(α-CD)and gelatin.It has a primary crosslinking structure through the aggregation of the pseudo-polyrotaxane-like side chains,which are formed from the host-guest interactions betweenα-CD and PEG side chain.Apparent viscosity measurement shows the shear-shinning property of this bioink,which might be due to the reversibility of the physical crosslinking.Moreover,withβ-glycerophosphate at different concentrations as the secondary crosslinking agent,the printed constructs demonstrate different Young's modulus(p<0.001).They could also maintain the Young's modulus in cell culture condition for at least 21 days(p<0.05).By co-culturing each component with fibroblasts,CCK-8 assay demonstrate cellular viability is higher than 80%.After bioprinting and culturing,immunofluorescence staining with quantification indicate the expression of Ki-67,Paxillin,and N-cadherin is higher in day 14 than those in day 3(p<0.05).Oil red O and Nissl body specific staining reflect strength tunable bioink may have impact on the cell fate of mesenchymal stem cells(p<0.05).This work might provide new idea for advanced bioink in the application of re-establishing complicated tissues and organs.Tian Hu Xiaoliang Cui Meng Zhu Man Wu Ye Tian Bin Yao Wei Song Zhongwei Niu Sha Huang Xiaobing Fu 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,4:3
2Image Super-Resolution Based on Generative Adversarial Networks: A Brief Review显示文摘Single image super resolution(SISR)is an important research content in the field of computer vision and image processing.With the rapid development of deep neural networks,different image super-resolution models have emerged.Compared to some traditional SISR methods,deep learning-based methods can complete the super-resolution tasks through a single image.In addition,compared with the SISR methods using traditional convolutional neural networks,SISR based on generative adversarial networks(GAN)has achieved the most advanced visual performance.In this review,we first explore the challenges faced by SISR and introduce some common datasets and evaluation metrics.Then,we review the improved network structures and loss functions of GAN-based perceptual SISR.Subsequently,the advantages and disadvantages of different networks are analyzed by multiple comparative experiments.Finally,we summarize the paper and look forward to the future development trends of GAN-based perceptual SISR.Kui Fu Jiansheng Peng Hanxiao Zhang Xiaoliang Wang Frank Jiang 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,9:1
3Fat Embolism as a Rare Complication of Large‑volume Liposuction in a Plastic Patient显示文摘Fat embolism is a dreaded complication in of procedures of multiple disciplines including plastic surgery.As the popularity of liposuction increases,cases of pulmonary embolism after liposuction are increasingly reported.However,documents of cerebral embolism after liposuction are rarely presented.The degree of disability with respect to Fat fat Embolism embolism Symdrome syndrome(FES)is a Gordian Knot in the evaluation of legal medicine.Therefore,it is of great significance for us to that we report the case of a 30‑year‑old woman who underwent a large‑volume liposuction that resulted in serious complications,especially cerebral embolism.Untypical symptoms of fat embolism hamper the clinical diagnosis,particularly after a surgical procedure such as liposuction.Such a seldom‑seen case would easily trigger medical disputes,especially in countries like China suffering increasing claims of medical malpractice and,medical negligences and lawsuits.Detailed descriptions of this case are presented below along with the discussion of the clinical symptoms and the diagnostic approaches to fat embolism.Xiaoliang Fu Shang Gao Zhenyu Hu Yadong Guo Jifeng Cai 2015Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2015,1,1:0
4Causes of progressive stamping die damage and retooling measures to reduce carbide punch fracture显示文摘We investigated the reasons for frequently appearing early failure of carbide punches in a progressive stamping die when they were used to produce magnetic shielding steel parts.The failure modes of the carbide punches were statistically classified.Edge chipping and shoulder fracturing were the two types of failure modes that were found.The composition,hardness,and microstructure of the punches were analyzed.The cobalt content was found to be too low to ensure sufficient toughness.The brittle phase of tungsten carbide(WC) was prone to breaking off during the shear cutting process,and resulted in edge chipping.In addition,the material chips were easily bonded to the punch edge when there was a lack of press oil lubricity.It resulted in an uneven blanking clearance,which caused a lateral force and finally resulted in shoulder fracturing of the punches.Improvement measures were introduced to address the abovementioned issues.By using the carbide punches with greater toughness and shear cutting oil with high lubricity,the early damage problems of the punches are effectively solved,which ensures normal production of the magnetic shielding steel parts.LIANG Gaofei YAN Yuanyuan LUO Xiaoliang LIN Changqing FU Yan'an SHAO Zongqiang 2016Baosteel Technical Research2016,10,4:0
5Atomically Thin 2D TiO_(2) Nanosheets with Ligand Modified Surface for Ultra-sensitive Humidity Sensor显示文摘As a kind of two-dimensional(2D)nanostructured materials,metal oxide nanosheets(MONS)are attractive and promising humidity sensing materials due to their considerable surface area,good charge carrier transportation,and designable surface functional groups properties.Nevertheless,the ultra-thin MONS modified with active functional groups for humidity sensing are still rare.As a proof of concept,the atomically thin TiO_(2)nanosheets with high surface area and electron-donating amino groups are prepared by a structure-maintained post-ligand modification strategy.The fabricated TiO_(2)-based sensors demonstrate superior humidity sensing performance with high response,short response time,narrow hysteresis,and ultra-low theoretical limit of detection of about 15 ppm.Additionally,the possible mechanism is proposed from the AC complex impedance measurements and DC instantaneous reverse polarity experiments.This work provides a possible path for developing the high-performance 2D nanostructured metal oxides-based humidity materials through the surface chemical method.Jianze Xiao Zhihua Fu Guane Wang Xiaoliang Ye Gang Xu 2022Chinese Journal of Structural Chemistry2022,41,4:0
6The Validation of Goldeneye^(™)DNA ID 22NC kit and the Genetic Polymorphism of 21 Short Tandem Reeat Loci in the Chinese Hunan Han Population显示文摘Goldeneye™DNA ID 22NC Kit is a novel short tandem repeat(STR)genotyping system that investigate 20 non-CODIS loci(D4S2366,D6S477,D22GATA198B05,D15S659,D8S1132,D3S3045,D14S608,D17S1290,D3S1744,D2S441,D18S535,D13S325,D7S1517,D1OS1435,D11S236&D19S253,D1S1656,D7S3O4&D10S14&and D5S2500),a CODIS locus(D3S1358),and a sex-determining locus amelogenin in one assay.In the present study,this STR genotyping system was validated according to the guidelines of'Wlidation Guidelines for DNA Analysis Methods(2016)'updated by the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods.A series of tests,such as polymerase chain reaction-based studies,sensitivity,inhibitors,DNA mixture,species specificity,precision and accuracy evaluation,stutter percentage,and peak height ratio,was conducted.The genetic polymorphism of 21 STR loci that included in the 22NC system was also investigated in the Chinese Hunan Han population.The validation results demonstrated that Goldeneye™DNA ID 22NC Kit is a robust and reliable identification assay as required for genotyping in kinship analysis and forensic investigation.The 21 STR loci in this kit also showed a high level of genetic polymorphism for the Hunan Han population.Therefore,it can be used for forensic applications and population studies.Xiaoliang Fu Shule Sun Yanfang Liu Jing He Jifeng Cai Zha 2018Journal of Forensic Science and Medicine2018,4,3:0

8Effects of Zr substitution on soot combustion over cubic fluorite-structured nanoceria:Soot-ceria contact and interfacial oxygen evolution显示文摘Ceria is widely used as a catalyst for soot combustion,but effects of Zr substitution on the reaction mechanism is ambiguous.The present work elucidates effects of Zr substitution on soot combustion over cubic fluorite-structured nanoceria.The nanostructured CeO_(2),Ce_(0.92)Zr_(0.08)O_(2),and Ce_(0.84)Zr_(0.16)O_(2)composed of 5-6 nm crystallites display T_(m-CO2)(the temperature at maximum CO_2 yield)at 383,355,and 375℃under 10 vol.%O_(2)/N_(2),respectively.The size of agglomerate decreases from 165.5 to 51.9-57.3 nm,which is beneficial for the sootceria contact.Moreover,Zr increases the amount of surface oxygen vacancies,generating more active oxygen(O_(2)^-and O^(-))for soot oxidation.Thus,the activities of Ce_(0.92)Zr_(0.08)O_(2)and Ce_(0.84)Zr_(0.16)O_(2)in soot combustion are better than that of CeO_(2).Although oxygen vacancies promote the migration of lattice O~(2-),the enriched surface Zr also inhibits the mobility of lattice O^(2-).Therefore,the T_(m-CO2)of Ce_(0.84)Zr_(0.1)6 O_(2)is higher than that of Ce_(0.92)Zr_(0.08)O_(2).Based on reaction kinetic study,soot in direct contact with ceria preferentially decomposes with low activation energy,while the oxidation of isolated soot occurs through diffusion with high activation energy.The obtained findings provide new understanding on the soot combustion over nanoceria.Peng Liu Xiaoliang Liang Yanliu Dang Junkai He Alireza Shirazi-Amin Laura A.Achola Shanka Dissanayake Hanlin Chen Mingli Fu Daiqi Ye Steven L.Suib 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,3:0
