1Patterns of antiemetic prophylaxis for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting in China显示文摘Background: Few studies have attempted to evaluate the use of antiemetic therapy for chemotherapyinduced nausea and vomiting(CINV) at a national level in China or to assess how treatment regimens adhere to current guidelines. Methods: We searched the China Health Insurance Research Association(CHIRA) Database to identify patients with cancer who were ≥18 years old and received either moderately or highly emetogenic chemotherapy(MEC and HEC, respectively) between 2008 and 2012. Patients' characteristics as well as usage of specific antiemetic regimens were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: Of the 14,548 patients included in the study, 6,477 received HEC while 8,071 were treated with MEC. Approximately 89.9% used antiemetics prophylactically to prevent acute CINV and 71.5% for delayed CINV while 9.0% were prescribed antiemetics as rescue therapy. A significantly lower proportion of patients treated with HEC received prophylactic antiemetic therapy for delayed CINV as compared to those treated with MEC(59.4% vs. 81.3%; P<0.001). The HEC group had a slightly lower proportion of patients using a mixed regimen containing a 5-HT3 antagonist to prevent both acute and delayed CINV than the MEC group(P≤0.012); however, a higher proportion received a mixed regimen containing corticosteroids(P≤0.007). Although more than half of the patients in the HEC group took three antiemetics to prevent acute and delayed CINV, these rates were significantly lower than those of the MEC group(both P<0.001). Finally, analysis of the regimens used revealed that there is over-utilization of drugs within the same class of antiemetic. 2Optimal Planning of AC-DC Hybrid Transmission and Distributed Energy Resource System: Review and Prospects显示文摘With the highly-extensive integration of distributed renewable energy resources(DER)into the grid,the power distribution system has changed greatly in the structure,function and operating characteristics.On this ground,An AC-DC hybrid DER system becomes necessary for effective management and control over DER.This paper first summarizes the physical characteristics and morphological evolution of AC-DC hybrid DER system.The impact of these new features on system configuration planning is analyzed with respect to its flexible networking,rich operation control modes,and tight sourcenetwork-load-storage coupling.Then,based on a review of the existing research,problems and technical difficulties are figured out in terms of converter modeling,steady-state analysis,power flow calculation,operating scenarios management,and optimization model solution.In light of the problems and difficulties,a framework for the configuration optimization of AC-DC hybrid DER systems is proposed.At last,the paper provides a prospect of key technologies from six aspects including morphology forecasting,coupling interaction analysis,uncertainty modeling,operation simulation,optimization model solving algorithm and comprehensive scheme evaluation.Xianglong Liu Youbo Liu Junyong Liu Yue Xiang Xiaodong Yuan 2019CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2019,5,3:13
3Isolation,identification and characterization of an algicidal bacterium from Lake Taihu and preliminary studies on its algicidal compounds显示文摘In an effort to identify a bio-agent capable of controlling cyanobacterial blooms,we isolated a bacterial strain,A27,which exhibited strong algicidal activity against the dominant bloom-forming species of Microcystis aeruginosa in Lake Taihu.Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis,this strain belongs to the genus Exiguobacterium.This is the first report of an algicidal bacterial strain belonging to the genus Exiguobacterium.Strain A27 exhibited algicidal activity against a broad range of cyanobacteria,but elicited little or no algicidal activity against the two green algal strains tested.The algicidal activity of strain A27 was shown to be dependent on the density of the bacteria and to have a threshold density of 1.5×10 6 CFU/mL.Our data also showed that the algicidal activity of strain A27 depended on different growth stages of Microcystis aeruginosa(exponential ≈ lag phase > early stationary) rather than that of the bacterium itself.Our results also suggested the algicidal activity of strain A27 occurred via the production of extracellular algicidal compounds.Investigation of the algicidal compounds revealed that there were at least two different algicidal compounds produced by strain A27.These results indicated that strain A27 has great potential for use in the control of outbreaks of cyanobacterial blooms in Lake Taihu.Chuan Tian Xianglong Liu Jing Tan Shengqin Lin Daotang Li Hong Yang 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,10:13
4Sedimentary records of eutrophication in the Changjiang Estuary upwelling area over last 100 a显示文摘The upwelling area in the Changjiang Estuary was selected to collect the core, where the red tide occurred frequently and hypoxic existed. The total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN), biogenic silica (BSi) and stable organic carbon isotopic ratios(δ13 Corg) were determined on the 210Pb-dated sediment core. The concentrations of TOC, TN, BSi as well as their sedimentation fluxes have increased to some extent since the 1970s. TOC and TN fluxes increased about 45%, 36% respectively. The average δ13 Corg value in the core was -23.67×10-3 which remained nearly constant before the 20 century. The δ13 Corg values increased after the 1900s, two marked increases were observed from the 1950s and the 1970s. A simple δ13 Corg model was used to estimate the contribution of terrigenous and marine organic matter inputs for the sediment, which indicated the increase in accumulation since the 1970s has been almost exclusively marine. The increasing of marine organic matter accumulation (TOC, TN and BSi) was corresponding with the increasing of fertilizer consumption and the NO3-N budgets from the Changjiang River. The riverine runoff of fertilizers and nutrients stimulated the algae blooming. Enhanced primary production resulted in an enrichment of organic matter in the sediment. 5Distribution, features, and influence factors of the submarine topographic boundaries of the Okinawa Trough显示文摘Based on multiple types of data, the topographical features of the Okinawa Trough(OT) have been characterized and a computation method has been proposed to determine the break point of continental shelf(BOS), foot point of the continental slope(FOS), the central axial point, and the maximum depth point. A total of 48 topographical profiles that crosscut the continental slope have been used to determine the trends of the BOS and FOS(the BOS and FOS lines) in the East China Sea(ECS). The trend of central axial points in the OT has been similarly determined by analyzing 39 topographical profiles across the axis of the trough. The BOS line forms the boundary between the continental shelf and slope. In the ECS, the BOS line roughly follows the 200 m isobath, continuously in the northern and middle parts of the OT, but jumping about somewhat in the south. The FOS line is the boundary between the continental slope and the bottom of the trough. The depth of the FOS increases gradually from north to south in the OT. Intense incisions by canyons into the slope in the southern part of the trough have led to the complex distribution of FOS. Topographical profiles crosscutting the northern, middle, and southern parts of the OT exhibit features that include: a single W-shape, a composite W-shape, and a U-shape, respectively, which suggests that in the middle and northern parts of the trough the central axial points are always located on seamount peaks or ridges associated with linear seamounts, whereas in the south they are found in the center of en echelon depressions. The line formed by the central axial points is the east-west dividing line of the OT, which indicates that the trough is a natural gap that prevents the extension of ECS continental shelf to the east. 6Linear sand ridges on the outer shelf of the East China Sea显示文摘Based on the latest full-coverage high-resolu- tion multi-beam sounding data, the distribution of the linear sand ridges on the outer shelf of the East China Sea (ECS) is studied with quantitative statistical analysis. The study area can be divided into the northeastern part and the southwest-ern part. Sand ridges in the northeastern area, trending 116°N, show obvious linear character and shrink to the inner shelf. Sand ridges in the southwestern area, trending 120°N-146°N, tend to have net form. Sand ridges gradually be-come sand sheets in the center part of study area. Sand ridges are distributed landward to the isobath of 60m, dis-tributed seaward to the water depth of 120 m in the north-east and 150 m in the southwest. Immature sand ridges are observed at water depth of 130-180 m in the southwestern depressions. The acoustic reflection properties of the internal high-angle inclined beddings of the sand ridges are analyzed based on the typical seismic profiles close to the research area. Lithological analysis and dating of 4 boreholes and 12 cores indicate that the widely distributed transgressive sand layer with high content of shell debris which was formed in the early-middle Holocene is the main composition of the linear sand ridges on the outer shelf of the ECS. The domi-nating factor in formation, developing and burying of the sand ridges is the variation of water depth caused by sea- level change and the rate of sediment supply. 7Distribution,formation and evolution of sand ridges on the East China Sea shelf显示文摘Based on the integrated results of multiple data types including MBES (Multi-Beam Echo Sounding) and historical topography maps,the LSR (Linear Sand Ridges) on the ECS (East China Sea) shelf are identified,divided into subareas,and classified.The distribution of sand ridge crests is also established.The strikes of the LSR on the ECS shelf fall in a normal distribution with the center point being 155° azimuth with additional peak points at 125°,130°,140°,and 180° azimuth.The distribution of the ECS shelf sand ridges is congested in the central area,sparse in the south and north ends,divergent and bifurcated in the eastern area,and densely convergent in the western area.The LSR are divided into seven subzones according to the strikes and distribution of the sand ridges;estuary mouth ridges and open shelf sand ridges are identified and marked out.The high amplitude change of sea level resulting from the glacial-interglacial cycle is the main cause of the vast development of sand ridges on the ECS shelf.Abundant sediments on the shelf carried by the PYR (Paleo-Yangtze River) are the material source for the LSR formation,and the negative seafloor topography influences the strikes of LSR.Based on the effects of LSR distribution,change of sea level,and the simulation of ancient tidal currents,the evolution of the LSR on the ECS shelf is divided into four main stages:Stage Ⅰ before 14.5 ka BP,Stage Ⅱ between 12 and 14 ka BP,Stage Ⅲ from 1.5 to 9.5 ka BP,and Stage Ⅳ after 9 ka BP.WU ZiYin JIN XiangLong CAO ZhenYi LI JiaBiao ZHENG YuLong SHANG JiHong 2010Science China Earth Sciences2010,53,1:9
8Analysis of key microbial community during the start-up of anaerobic ammonium oxidation process with paddy soil as inoculated sludge显示文摘A sequencing batch reactor(SBR)-anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox) system was started up with the paddy soil as inoculated sludge. The key microbial community structure in the system along with the enrichment time was investigated by using molecular biology methods(e.g., high-throughput 16 S r RNA gene sequencing and quantitative PCR). Meanwhile,the influent and effluent water quality was continuously monitored during the whole start-up stage. The results showed that the microbial diversity decreased as the operation time initially and increased afterwards, and the microbial niches in the system were redistributed. The anammox bacterial community structure in the SBR-anammox system shifted during the enrichment, the most dominant anammox bacteria were Candidatus Jettenia. 9ZBP1(DAI/DLM-1) promotes osteogenic differentiation while inhibiting adipogenic differentiation in mesenchymal stem cells through a positive feedback loop of Wnt/β-catenin signaling显示文摘The lineage specification of mesenchymal stem/stromal cells(MSCs) is tightly regulated by a wide range of factors. Recently, the versatile functions of ZBP1(also known as DAI or DLM-1) have been reported in the blood circulation and immune systems.However, the biological function of ZBP1 during the lineage specification of MSCs is still unknown. In the present study, we found that ZBP1 was upregulated during osteogenesis but downregulated during adipogenesis in mouse bone marrow-derived MSCs(m BMSCs). ZBP1 was highly expressed in osteoblasts but expressed at a relatively low level in marrow adipocytes. Knockdown of ZBP1 inhibited alkaline phosphataseactivity, extracellular matrix mineralization, and osteogenesis-related gene expression in vitro and reduced ectopic bone formation in vivo. Knockdown of ZBP1 also promoted adipogenesis in MSCs in vitro. Conversely, the overexpression of ZBP1 increased the osteogenesis but suppressed the adipogenesis of MSCs. When the expression of ZBP1 was rescued, the osteogenic capacity of ZBP1-depleted m BMSCs was restored at both the molecular and phenotypic levels.Furthermore, we demonstrated that ZBP1, a newly identified target of Wnt/β-catenin signaling, was required for β-catenin translocation into nuclei. 12The existence of propagated sensation along the meridian proved by neuroelectrophysiology显示文摘Propagated sensation along the meridian can occur when acupoints are stimulated by acupuncture or electrical impulses.In this study,participants with notable propagated sensation along the meridian were given electro-acupuncture at the Jianyu(LI15)acupoint of the large intestine meridian.When participants stated that the sensation reached the back of their hand,regular nervous system action discharge was examined using a physiological recording electrode placed on the superficial branch of the radial nerve.The topographical maps of brain-evoked potential in the primary cortical somatosensory area were also detected.When Guangming(GB37)acupoint in the lower limb and Hegu(LI4)acupoint in the upper limb were stimulated,subjects without propagated sensation along the meridian exhibited a high potential reaction in the corresponding area of the brain cortical somatosensory area.For subjects with a notable propagated sensation along the meridian,the reaction area was larger and extended into the face representative area.These electrophysiological measures directly prove the existence of propagated sensation along the meridian,and the peripheral stimulated site is consistent with the corresponding primary cortical somatosensory area,which presents a high potential reaction.Jinsen Xu Shuxia Zheng Xiaohua Pan Xiaoxiang Zhu Xianglong Hu 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,28:7
13Rapid in-situ reaction synthesis of novel TiC and carbon nanotubes reinforced titanium matrix composites显示文摘In-situ TiC and remained multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) reinforced Ti composites were synthesized using vacuum hot-press sintering and hot rolling. The effect of weight fraction of MWCNTs on microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of the Ti composites was investigated. The results indicated that both proportion and particle size of TiC increased in proportion to MWCNTs content, which resulted in different matrix microstructure, and the grains were obviously refined after rolling deformation. The hardness tests indicated that MWCNTs addition could make the composites harden, and 18.4%improvement in hardness was obtained after hot rolling. The significant improvement in both strength and hardness could be attributed to grain refinement, solid solution strengthening of carbon and dispersion strengthening of TiC particles and remained MWCNTs. 14Role of primary Zr-rich particles on microstructure and magnetic properties of 2:17-type Sm-Co-Fe-Cu-Zr permanent magnets显示文摘Trace Zr addition is essential for achieving desired cellular nanostructure and large coercivity in the pinning-controlled 2:17-type Sm-Co-Fe-Cu-Zr magnets that have served as the strongest high temperature permanent magnets for over 40 years.However,accompanying this is the formation of Zr-rich particles that may deteriorate the hard magnetic properties.Besides the formerly-reported 1:3R Zr-rich platelets,in this work,1–2μm sized Zr6(Co,Fe)23(6:23)particles(Fm 3 m)and 100–200 nm sized 1:3R Zr-rich particles were also found based on combined structural identifications and element mapping analysis.Around such particles,the desired 1:5H cell wall precipitates that provide the strongest pinning force of magnetic domain wall motions are rare,forming the precipitate-free-zones(PFZs).The 1:5H-PFZs and the soft magnetism of both 6:23 and 1:3R Zr-rich particles act as local weak pinning points,which are unfavorable to retain the large magnetization in strong opposite fields and lead to poor squareness.As observed in a Sm25Co45.9Fe19.5Cu5.6Zr4.0(wt.%)magnet,the co-existence of such Zr-rich particles and the associated 1:5H-PFZs leads to a pretty low squareness factor of only 52.89%given the large coercivity of 29.04 kOe.Our findings suggest that careful controlling the Zr content and avoiding its aggregation to form harmful 6:23 and 1:3R Zr-rich particles are essential for achieving high squareness as well as large energy product in the Sm-Co-Fe-Cu-Zr permanent magnets.Tao Yuan Xin Song Xianglong Zhou Wentao Jia Munzali Musa Jingdong Wang Tianyu Ma 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,52,18:6

16Wavelength-switchable vortex beams based on a polarization-dependent microknot resonator显示文摘We experimentally demonstrated a method of generating continuously wavelength-switchable optical vortex beams(OVBs) in an all-fiber laser. A polarization-dependent microknot resonator(MKR) functions as comb filter and accounts for the narrow linewidth(0.018 nm) of multiwavelength channels. The wavelength interval corresponds to the free spectral range of the MKR. We exploit a fused SMF–FMF(single mode fiber–few mode fiber) mode coupler to obtain broadband mode conversion and successfully achieve multiwavelength switchable OVBs. As far as we know, this is the first report about identical multiwavelength vortex beams with topological charges of 1. It has been verified that each channel of the vortex beams preserves the same orbital angular momentum(OAM) properties through their clear spiral interferograms. 18Effect of system parameters on the size distributions of hollow nickel microspheres produced by an ultrasound-aided electrical discharge machining process显示文摘Ultrasound-aided electric discharge machining(EDM) is an emerging technology for producing hollow nickel microspheres.This technology combines traditional EDM with the cavitation and vibration effects of ultrasound to produce hollow microspheres.In this paper,ultrasound-aided EDM was carried out in a kerosene medium(the working solution).The effects of various parameters on the sizes of microspheres were investigated using scanning electronic microscopy(SEM).Smileview software was used to measure the sizes of the microspheres.Originpro software was used for statistical analysis to determine the size distributions of the microspheres.To study the effects of the system parameters on the sizes of the microspheres,we first investigated the necessity of using an ultrasonic wave with EDM.After comparing the experimental results with and without the ultrasonic field,we found that ultrasound-induced cavitation and vibration effects reduced the diameters of the microspheres.We then studied the effects of several electrical parameters,including the arc current,pulse width,and gap voltage,on the sizes of the microspheres at an ultrasound frequency of 40 kHz.Smaller microspheres could be obtained by lowering the arc current,pulse width,and gap voltage.Yifan Liu Xianglong Li Fushi Bai Jian Chen Yantao Wang Nan Liu 2014Particuology2014,12,6:4

20The spatial multiscale variability of heavy metals based on factorial kriging analysis: A case study in the northeastern Beibu Gulf显示文摘Factorial kriging analysis is applied to the research on the spatial multiscale variability of heavy metals in submarine. It is used to analyze the multiscale spatial structures of seven heavy metals, Ni, Cu, Zn, Pb, Cr, As and Cd in the surface sediment from the northeastern of Beibu Gulf, identify and separate spatial variations at different scales of heavy metals, and discuss the provenance of heavy metals and the influencing factors. The results show that the existence of three-scale spatial variations those consist of nugget effect, a spherical structure with range of 30 km(short-range scale) and a spherical structure with range of 140 km(long-range scale) in the linear model of coregionalization fitted. The spatial distribution features of seven heavy metals at short-range scale reflect 'spot-like' or 'stripe-like' local-scale spatial variations; the spatial distribution features of the seven heavy metals at long-range scale represent 'slice-like' regional-scale spatial variations. At local scale, Zn, Cr, Ni,Cu, Pb and Cd are derived primarily from parent materials of Hainan Island, Leizhou Peninsula and Guangxi land, whose spatial distribution characteristics are controlled by granularity of sediments, while As is influenced dominantly by human pollution components from Hainan Island and Leizhou Peninsula. At regional scale, Zn,Cr, Ni and Cu originate primarily from parent rock materials of Leizhou Peninsula and Hainan Island, secondly from Guangxi land; As originated primarily from parent rock materials from Hainan Island, secondly from Leizhou Peninsula and Guangxi land. These metals are transported and migrated with sediments dominated by the anticlockwise circulation of Beibu Gulf year-round, deposited in 'convergence center', forming the whole sedimentary pattern in direction of NWW-NNW at regional scale.
