1Atomic Fe-Zn dual-metal sites for high-efficiency pH-universal oxygen reduction catalysis显示文摘An effective electrocatalyst being highly active in all pH range for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is crucial for energy conversion and storage devices.However,most of the high-efficiency ORR catalysis was reported in alkaline conditions.Herein,we demonstrated the preparation of atomically dispersed Fe-Zn pairs anchored on porous N-doped carbon frameworks(Fe-Zn-SA/NC),which works efficiently as ORR catalyst in the whole pH range.It achieves high half-wave potentials of 0.78,0.85 and 0.72 V in 0.1 M HClO4,0.1 M KOH and 0.1 M phosphate buffer saline(PBS)solutions,respectively,as well as respectable stability.The performances are even comparable to Pt/C.Furthermore,when assembled into a Zn-air battery,the high power density of 167.2 mWcm−2 and 120 h durability reveal the feasibility of Fe-Zn-SA/NC in real energy-related devices.Theoretical calculations demonstrate that the superior catalytic activity of Fe-Zn-SA/NC can be contributed to the lower energy barriers of ORR at the Fe-Zn-N6 centers.This work demonstrates the potential of Fe-Zn pairs as alternatives to the Pt catalysts for efficient catalytic ORR and provides new insights of dual-atom catalysts for other energy conversion related catalytic reactions.Jie Xu Shuhua Lai Defeng Qi Min Hu Xianyun Peng Yifan Liu Wei Liu Guangzhi Hu Heng Xu Fan Li Chao Li Jia He Longchao Zhuo Jiaqiang Sun Yuan Qiu Shusheng Zhang Jun Luo Xijun Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,5:6
2Effect of puerarin on myocardial perfusion and ventricular wall motion in patients with acute coronary syndrome显示文摘Objective To investigate the effects of puerarin (Pur) on myocardial perfusion and ventricular wall motion in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods Thirty-seven patients with ACS were randomly divided into two groups:conventional treatment group (n= 17,11 males,range of age:32-80 years,average age:60.9±4.9 years) and Pur treatment group (n=20,12 males,range of age:40-76 years,average age:62.7±3.5 years).Patients in the conventional treatment group received standard treatment according to the current guidelines,while patients in the Pur treatment group received intravenous administration of Pur (500 mg/day) for 10 days plus conventional treatment.Real-time myocardial contrast echocardiography (RT-MCE) was performed to evaluate the change in myocardial perfusion index (MPI) and ventricular wall motion index (VWMI) at admission and 10 days after treatment.Results At 10 days after treatment,MPI was significantly higher (P<0.01) and VWMI significantly lower (P<0.01) in the Pur group comparing with those in the conventional group.Conclusions Puerarin might improve myocardial microcirculation perfusion and ventricular wall motion in patients with ACS.Ling Niu Dongye Li Yong Xia Defeng Pan Xiaoping Wang Yan Yan Li Liang Tongda Xu Cardiovascular Institute of Xuzhou Medical College, Department of Cardiology, Affiliated Hospital, Xuzhou Medical College, Xuzhou, Jiangsu 221002, China 2008Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2008,5,3:3

9A hypothesis of 3D rainfall tomography using satellite signals显示文摘The attenuation of microwave signals due to rainfall,known as rain attenuation,can be used to measure rain.Similar to using X-ray to carry out human-body CT scans,the microwave signals of low earth and/or medium earth orbit satellites are proposed for carrying out 3D(Three Dimensional)rainfall tomography in this paper.The proposed method will not only complement the three major rain measurement methods in use today(i.e.rain gauge,weather radar,and weather satellite)but also potentially achieve 3D rainfall measurements with precision and coverage unachievable before.Along with the deployment of low earth orbit satellite constellations(e.g.the OneWeb constellation)for global broadband Internet services,small satellite receivers of the size of a pizza box may be used to achieve 3D rainfall tomography anywhere on the Earth,thereby paving the way for many practical applications and atmospheric research that are associated with rainfall.HUANG Defeng(David) XU Lu FENG Xuxiang WANG Wanyu 2016Journal of Communications and Information Networks2016,1,1:1

11Morphology control and photocatalytic characterization of WO_3 nanofiber bundles显示文摘The design and fabrication of semiconductor photocatalysts have attracted much attention. Herein, the effect of pH value and soluble salt additives on crystal structure, morphology and photocatalytic properties of WO_3 was investigated in detail. It was found that the phase structure of WO_3 changed from monoclinic to hexagonal phase when pH value of the solution increased. The ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra show that the monoclinic and hexagonal WO_3 had absorbance from 600 nm to the ultraviolet-visible region. Hexagonal WO_3 with nanofiber bundle morphology was successfully synthesized through Na_2 SO_4 and Zn(CH_3 COO)_2·2 H_2 O-assisted hydrothermal method when pH value was 0.8. It exhibits the highest photocatalytic efficiency and better than that of cubic-shaped monoclinic W03. The shuttle-like hexagonal WO_3 prepared at pH 1.4 gives much lower activity. 12Superposition model for analyzing the dynamic ground subsidence in mining area of thick loose layer显示文摘The dynamic ground subsidence due to underground mining is a complicated time-dependent and ratedependent process. Based on the theory of rock rheology and probability integral method, this study developed the superposition model for the prediction and analysis of the ground dynamic subsidence in mining area of thick loose layer. The model consists of two parts(the prediction of overlying bedrock and the prediction of thick loose layer). The overlying bedrock is regarded as visco-elastic beam, of which the dynamic subsidence is predicted by the Kelvin visco-elastic rheological model. The thick loose layer is regarded as random medium and the ground dynamic subsidence is predicted by the probability integral model. At last, the two prediction models are vertically stacked in the same coordinate system, and the bedrock dynamic subsidence is regarded as a variable mining thickness input into the prediction model of ground dynamic subsidence. The prediction results obtained were compared with actual movement and deformation data from Zhao I and Zhao II mine, central China. 14High-energy-density plasma in femtosecond-laser-irradiated nanowire-array targets for nuclear reactions显示文摘In this work,the high-energy-density plasmas(HEDP)evolved from joule-class-femtosecond-laser-irradiated nanowire-array(NWA)targets were numerically and experimentally studied.The results of particle-in-cell simulations indicate that ions accelerated in the sheath field around the surfaces of the nanowires are eventually confined in a plasma,contributing most to the high energy densities.The protons emitted from the front surfaces of the NWA targets provide rich information about the interactions that occur.We give the electron and ion energy densities for broad target parameter ranges.The ion energy densities from NWA targets were found to be an order of magnitude higher than those from planar targets,and the volume of the HEDP was several-fold greater.At optimal target parameters,8%of the laser energy can be converted to confined protons,and this results in ion energy densities at the GJ/cm^(3) level.In the experiments,the measured energy of the emitted protons reached 4 MeV,and the changes in energy with the NWA’s parameters were found to fit the simulation results well.Experimental measurements of neutrons from 2H(d,n)3He fusion with a yield of(24±18)×10^(6)/J from deuterated polyethylene NWA targets also confirmed these results.Defeng Kong Guoqiang Zhang Yinren Shou Shirui Xu Zhusong Mei Zhengxuan Cao Zhuo Pan Pengjie Wang Guijun Qi Yao Lou Zhiguo Ma Haoyang Lan Wenzhao Wang Yunhui Li Peter Rubovic Martin Veselsky Aldo Bonasera Jiarui Zhao Yixing Geng Yanying Zhao Changbo Fu Wen Luo Yugang Ma Xueqing Yan Wenjun Ma 2022Matter and Radiation at Extremes2022,7,6:1

18Overlapped Tray Seedling Raising Model for Mechanical Transplanting of Rice显示文摘With the development of China's social economy,transfer of rural labors,and rise of labor costs,the rice production technologies are changing from manual operation to mechanical operation.The core of mechanical rice production is mechanical planting,while the key to mechanical planting is the seedling raising.On the basis of analyzing and studying the problems and experience of traditional mechanical transplanting of rice,a new overlapped tray seedling raising model was introduced.Main features of this model: substrate seedling raising and overlapped seedling tray.The seedling trays for seeding line are overlapped,and the overlapped trays are moved into the seedling room with controlled temperature and humidity.The temperature of the seedling room is controlled at 30-32℃,and the humidity of the seedling room is controlled at above 90%.After about 48 h,when the seedling height reaches 0.5 cm,move the seedling trays to the nursery.This model consists of one seeding center( seedling raising center) and N nurseries,to realize 1 + N seedling raising for mechanical transplanting of rice.One seeding center can provide seedlings for several hundred to several thousand hectares of mechanical transplanting of rice,and provide a new model for social services.This model could improve the quality of seedlings,increase the seedling survival rate by about 20%,reduce the seedling raising costs by 15%-20%,reduce the seedling raising risks,and greatly increase the utilization rate of the site and equipment of seedling raising center.Defeng ZHU Yuejun WANG Huizhe CHEN Yicheng XU Yiping CHEN 2019Asian Agricultural Research2019,11,1:0

20Effect of pharmaceutical intervention on AT_1R, AT_2R, ERK and JNK activity in chronic hibernating myocardium in rabbits显示文摘Objective:To investigate in chronic hibernating myocardium in rabbits and the influence and significance of captopril, betaloc, valsartan in angiotensin Ⅱ subtype 1 receptor(AT1R), angiotensin Ⅱ subtype 2 receptor(AT2R), extracellular signal regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2), c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK). Methods: The model of chronic hibernating myocardium(CHM) was established. The changes of AT1R, AT2R, ERK1/2, JNK in different groups were assessed by western blotting and immunohistochemistry. Results: The amount of AT1R decreased while AT2R increased in the CON group compared with in sham group, and both AT1R and AT2R decreased in drug groups compared with the CON group. The content of ERK had no change in each group, while that of'expression' p-ERK increased in CON group compared with in sham group, and was lower in drug intervention groups than in CON and sham groups. The contents of JNK and p-JNK decreased in CON and drug intervention groups compared with in sham group. The protein levels of JNK, p-JNK in drug intervention groups were lower than in the CON group. Three drugs can inhibit interstitial fibrosis and reduce apoptotic cells. The expression levels in the groups(with different doses) had statistical difference as well as between groups of captopril and other drugs; however the results between betaloc and valsartan had no significant difference. Conclusion: AT1R, AT2R may be the upper stream receptor of ERK and JNK and may participate in generation and evolution of CHM.
