| 1 | Microbial community structure in an integrated A/O reactor treating diluted livestock wastewater during start-up period显示文摘In order to investigate the correlation between reactor performance and the microorganisms,an integrated A/O reactor was operated for 72 days to treat diluted livestock wastewater.Chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal efficiency increased from 79% to 94%,with total nitrogen (TN) removal efficiency from 37% to 50% (HRT 7.4 hr) when the influent COD and TN were ca.1500 mg/L and 95 mg/L,respectively,and the outlet COD concentration was less than 100 mg/L at the end.Microbial community was monitored during start-up period by denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) based on 16S rRNA gene.DGGE profiles showed that microbial community had changed significantly during the start-up and these shifts were in accordance with the reactor performance.UPGMA clustering analysis showed that 14 anaerobic samples fell into five main groups and so did the aerobic ones,but the grouping patterns were different.Phylogenetic analysis indicated that microbial populations in the anaerobic compartment belonged to Firmicutes,Proteobacteria,Chloroflexi and Bacteroidetes,while Proteobacteria,Bacteroidetes,Firmicutes,Verrucomicrobiae and Nitrospira were present in the aerobic compartment.In the anaerobic compartment,more fermentative and acetogenic bacteria were detected during the start-up while denitrifying bacteria faded away.Two functional populations such as Nitrospira defluvii and Dechloromonas denitrificans were observed when nitrogen removal was high,indicating that simultaneous nitrification and denitrification occurred in the aerobic compartment. | Lijiao Ren,Yining Wu,Nanqi Ren,Kun Zhang,Defeng Xing State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resource and Environment,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150090,China. | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,5: | 14 |

| 3 | Phase Residual Estimations for PCVs of Spaceborne GPS Receiver Antenna and Their Impacts on Precise Orbit Determination of GRACE Satellites显示文摘In-flight phase center systematic errors of global positioning system(GPS) receiver antenna are the main restriction for improving the precision of precise orbit determination using dual-frequency GPS.Residual approach is one of the valid methods for in-flight calibration of GPS receiver antenna phase center variations(PCVs) from ground calibration.In this paper,followed by the correction model of spaceborne GPS receiver antenna phase center,ionosphere-free PCVs can be directly estimated by ionosphere-free carrier phase post-fit residuals of reduced dynamic orbit determination.By the data processing of gravity recovery and climate experiment(GRACE) satellites,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly,the distributions of ionosphere-free carrier phase post-fit residuals from different periods have the similar systematic characteristics.Secondly,simulations show that the influence of phase residual estimations for ionosphere-free PCVs on orbit determination can reach the centimeter level.Finally,it is shown by in-flight data processing that phase residual estimations of current period could not only be used for the calibration for GPS receiver antenna phase center of foretime and current period,but also be used for the forecast of ionosphere-free PCVs in future period,and the accuracy of orbit determination can be well improved. | TU Jia GU Defeng WU Yi YI Dongyun | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2012,25,4: | 4 |
| 4 | Age assignment and geological significance of the “Budate Group” in the Hailar Basin显示文摘Age and nature of the Budate Group in the Hailar Basin are of great significance in studying the evolution of the Hailar Basin and the Xing'an-Mongolian Orogenic Belt(XMOB).Zircon U-Pb ages of eight volcanic rocks from the Budate Group and two basement granites in the Hailar Basin were reported in this study.The dating results indicated that the formation of these volcanic rocks was consistent with the emplacement of Late Paleozoic basement granite in age(356-290 Ma),i.e.,Early Carboniferous to Early Permian rather than Early Mesozoic.Combined with regional geology,it was concluded that the Budate Group is the component of the basement of the Hailar Basin,and these volcanic rocks were formed at an active continental margin,which is related to the closure of the Hegen Mountains suture zone.The captured Neoproterozoic zircons(814-873 Ma) were probably derived from the Neoproterozoic basement materials in the Ergun Block,implying the close genetic relationships between the Ergun Block(including the Hailar Basin) and the Siberian Block. | MENG Qi'An WAN ChuanBiao ZHU DeFeng ZHANG YanLong GE WenChun WU FuYuan | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,6: | 4 |
| 5 | Estimating soil ammonium adsorption using pedotransfer functions in an irrigation district of the North China Plain显示文摘Extensive use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture can induce high concentration of ammonium nitrogen(NH4^(+)_(-)N) in soil. Desorption and leaching of NH4^(+)_(-)N has led to pollution of natural waters. The adsorption of NH4^(+)_(-)N in soil plays an important role in the fate of the NH4^(+)_(-)N. Understanding the adsorption characteristics of NH4^(+)_(-)N is necessary to ascertain and predict its fate in the soil-water environment, and pedotransfer functions(PTFs) could be a convenient method for quantification of the adsorption parameters. Ammonium nitrogen adsorption capacity, isotherms, and their influencing factors were investigated for various soils in an irrigation district of the North China Plain. Fourteen agricultural soils with three types of texture(silt, silty loam, and sandy loam) were collected from topsoil to perform batch experiments. Silt and silty loam soils had higher NH4^(+)_(-)N adsorption capacity than sandy loam soils.Clay and silt contents significantly affected the adsorption capacity of NH4^(+)_(-)N in the different soils. The adsorption isotherms of NH4^(+)_(-)N in the 14 soils fit well using the Freundlich, Langmuir, and Temkin models. The models’ adsorption parameters were significantly related to soil properties including clay,silt, and organic carbon contents and Fe^(2+) and Fe^(3+) ion concentrations in the groundwater. The PTFs that relate soil and groundwater properties to soil NH4^(+)_(-)N adsorption isotherms were derived using multiple regressions where the coefficients were predicted using the Bayesian method. | 7 | Finite element modelling on microstructure evolution during multi-pass hot compression for AZ31 alloys using incremental method显示文摘Based on the principle of piecewise linearization, the incremental forms of microstructure evolution models were integrated into the thermo-mechanical coupled finite element(FE) model to simulate nonlinear microstructure evolution during multi-pass hot deformation. This is an unsteady-state deformation where dynamic recrystallization(DRX), meta-dynamic recrystallization(MDRX), static recrystallization(SRX) and grain growth(GG) take place during hot deformation or deformation interval. The distributions of deformation and microstructure for cylindrical AZ31 sample during single-pass and double-pass hot compressions were quantitatively calculated and compared with the metallographic observation. It is shown that both the deformation and microstructure are non-uniformly distributed due to the presence of friction between the die and the flat end of sample. | 8 | Effects of Combined Organic-inorganic Fertilization on Quality and Water Use Efficiency of Spring Maize under Equal Nitrogen Fertilization显示文摘The experiment was conducted in the abandoned land of Liangjia Village,Huayin City,Shaanxi Province from April to September 2019.The experimental crop was spring maize.A total of six treatments were set up in a randomized block design.The moisture content of the top 0-60 cm soil was determined regularly,and the yield and quality indices of maize at maturity were checked.The results show that:(i)combined organic-inorganic fertilization increased the yield of spring maize by 3%-8%.(ii)Compared with CK,fertilization treatments significantly improved the water use efficiency of spring maize,with an increase of 59.2%.The average water use efficiency of three combined organic-inorganic fertilization treatments was 27.81 kg/(ha·mm).Compared with CON,combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers significantly improved the water use efficiency of spring maize,with an increase of 12.5%.(iii)The combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizers increased the moisture,total starch,crude protein and crude fat contents,and reduced crude fiber content of maize kernels.However,with the increase of the proportion of organic fertilizer,the crude protein content of maize kernels decreased.(iv)Yield of spring maize showed a significant parabolic relationship with soil water consumption.In summary,70%inorganic fertilizer+30%organic fertilizer is a scientific and reasonable way of fertilization. | Defeng WU | 2020 | Asian Agricultural Research2020,12,5: | 2 |
