1Automated pavement horizontal curve measurement methods based on inertial measurement unit and 3D profiling data显示文摘Pavement horizontal curve is designed to serve as a transition between straight segments,and its presence may cause a series of driving-related safety issues to motorists and drivers.As is recognized that traditional methods for curve geometry investigation are time consuming,labor intensive,and inaccurate,this study attempts to develop a method that can automatically conduct horizontal curve identification and measurement at network level.The digital highway data vehicle(DHDV) was utilized for data collection,in which three Euler angles,driving speed,and acceleration of survey vehicle were measured with an inertial measurement unit(IMU).The 3D profiling data used for cross slope calibration was obtained with PaveVision3 D Ultra technology at 1 mm resolution.In this study,the curve identification was based on the variation of heading angle,and the curve radius was calculated with kinematic method,geometry method,and lateral acceleration method.In order to verify the accuracy of the three methods,the analysis of variance(ANOVA) test was applied by using the control variable of curve radius measured by field test.Based on the measured curve radius,a curve safety analysis model was used to predict the crash rates and safe driving speeds at horizontal curves.Finally,a case study on 4.35 km road segment demonstrated that the proposed method could efficiently conduct network level analysis.Wenting Luo Lin Li Kelvin C.P.Wang 2016Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2016,3,2:8
2Dendrocalamus latiflorus and its component rutin exhibit glucose-lowering activities by inhibiting hepatic glucose production via AKT activation显示文摘The potential medicinal value of Ma bamboo(Dendrocalamus latiflorus), one of the most popular and economically important bamboo species in China, has been underestimated. In the present study, we found that D. latiflorus leaf extract(DLE) reduced fasting blood glucose levels, body weight,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol with low liver toxicity in db/db mice. In addition, gene expression profiling was performed and pathway enrichment analysis showed that DLE affected metabolic pathways.Importantly, DLE activated the AKT signaling pathway and reduced glucose production by downregulating glucose-6-phosphatase(G6 PC) and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1(PCK1) expression. Moreover, network pharmacology analysis identified rutin as an active component in DLE through targeting insulin growth factor 1 receptor(IGF1 R), an upstream signaling transducer of AKT. 3A genetically encoded ratiometric calcium sensor enables quantitative measurement of the local calcium microdomain in the endoplasmic reticulum显示文摘The local Ca^2+ release from the heterogeneously distributed endoplasmic reticulum (ER) calcium store has a critical role in calcium homeostasis and cellular function. However;single fluorescent proteinbased ER calcium probes experience challenges in quantifying the ER calcium store in differing live cells, and intensity-based measurements make it difficult to detect local calcium microdomains in the ER. Here, we developed a genetically encoded ratiometric ER calcium indicator [GCEPIA1-SNAPer] that can detect the real-time ER calcium store and local calcium microdomains in live cells. GCEPIA1-SNAPer was located in the lumen of the ER and showed a linear;reversible and rapid response to changes in the ER calcium store. The GCEPIA1-SNAPer probe effectively monitored the depletion of the ER calcium store by TG or starvation treatment, and through 让s use we identified heterogeneously distributed calcium microdomains in the ER which were correlated w让h the distribution of STIM1 clusters upon ER calcium store depletion. 4Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane with carbon dioxide over silica molecular sieves supported chromium oxides:Pore size effect显示文摘SBA-15 with varied pore size from 4 to 8 nm were synthesized by tuning the temperature of hydrothermal treatment,the supports were then used to load the active phase Cr Oxthrough a conventional impregnation method.The resulting catalysts were characterized by small/wide angle XRD,N_(2) adsorption/desorption,FT-IR,TEM-EDX,XPS,TPR and CO_(2)-TPD to study the feature of structure,surface chemical state,redox and basicity.It was found from these results that the metal species could be well dispersed on catalysts with larger pore size.Cr^(6+)species could enter into the framework by substituting the Si atoms of SBA-15,and Cr^(3+)mainly exist on extra framework.Pore size had profound effects on reducibility,surface composition and basicity.Cr^(6+)species were necessary to activate the C-H bonds of alkanes,while the basicity played an important role in activating C-O bonds of CO_(2).The best performances were achieved over the sample Cr supported on SBA-15 with a pore diameter of 7 nm in oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane in the presence of CO_(2).Zhibin Deng Xing Ge Wenting Zhang Shizhong Luo Jun Shen Fangli Jing Wei Chu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6:2

8Effect of Avastin on the migration and invasion of pterygium fibroblasts显示文摘Purpose:.To evaluate the effect of Avastin on human pterygium fibroblast migration and invasiveness.Methods:.VEGF secretion was compared between human pterygium fibroblasts and conjunctival fibroblasts by measuring VEGF-A by ELISA. 9Investigation into the tribological behaviors of press hardening steels on the tailored conditions显示文摘There has been a growing demand for safety parts with tailored properties in automobile industry.However,the understanding of tribological behavior of press hardening steels(PHS)on the tailored conditions is highly inadequate.The present work aims at creating new knowledge about the tribological characteristics of PHS on the tailored conditions and bridging this existing gap.The paper proposes an improved hot drawing tribo-simulator to simulate the realistic experimental conditions industry.Investigations were carried out on the condition of different initial heating temperatures,tool temperatures,austenitizing temperatures,cooling rates and microstructures.The presented results show that the whole frictional process is divided into three stages for both coated and uncoated steels.The frictional factor changes a lot and the peak value of frictional factor occurs for serious adhesive wear.The frictional factor rises as the tool temperature and austenitizing temperature rise.The surface morphology of tools indicates that the coating adhering to tool gets thicker as the tool temperature increases.With the increase of cooling rate,the frictional factor declines firstly and then rises to some extent.Flat dies with different temperatures are used to form specimens with different microstructures,which also affects the frictional factor and wear.WANG ZiJian LUO XiaoYu HE WenTing ZHANG YiSheng 2015Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,1:1
10Design and characterization of metallic glass/graphene multilayer with excellent nanowear properties显示文摘The excellent properties of metallic glass(MG)films make them perfect candidates for the use in miniature systems and tools.However,their high coefficients of friction(COFs)and poor wear resistance considerably limit their long-term performance in nanoscale contact.We report the fabrication of a MG/graphene multilayer by the repeated deposition of Cu_(50)Zr_(50) MG with alternating layers of graphene.The microstructure of the multilayer was characterized by the transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Its mechanical and nanotribological properties were studied by nanoindentation and nanoscratch tests,respectively.A molecular dynamics(MD)simulation revealed that the addition of graphene endowed the MG with superelastic recovery,which reduced friction during nanoscratching.In comparison with the monolithic MG film,the multilayer exhibited improved wear resistance and a low COF in repeated nanowear tests owing to the enhanced mechanical properties and lubricating effect caused by the graphene layer.This work is expected to motivate the design of other novel MG films with excellent nanowear properties for engineering applications.Qing ZHOU Dawei LUO Dongpeng HUA Wenting YE Shuo LI Qiguang ZOU Ziqiang CHEN Haifeng WANG 2022Friction2022,10,11:1

13A neuropsin-based optogenetic tool for precise control of Gq signaling显示文摘G_(q)-coupled receptors regulate numerous physiological processes by activating enzymes and inducing intracellular Ca^(2+)signals.There is a strong need for an optogenetic tool that enables powerful experimental control over G_(q) signaling.Here,we present chicken opsin 5(cOpn5)as the long sought-after,single-component optogenetic tool that mediates ultra-sensitive optical control of intracellular G_(q) signaling with high temporal and spatial resolution.Expressing cOpn5 in HEK 293T cells and primary mouse astrocytes enables blue light-triggered,G_(q)-dependent Ca^(2+) release from intracellular stores and protein kinase C activation.Strong Ca^(2+) transients were evoked by brief light pulses of merely 10 ms duration and at 3 orders lower light intensity of that for common optogenetic tools.Photostimulation of cOpn5-expressing cells at the subcellular and single-cell levels generated fast intracellular Ca^(2+)transition,thus demonstrating the high spatial precision of cOpn5 optogenetics.The cOpn5-mediated optogenetics could also be applied to activate neurons and control animal behavior in a circuit-dependent manner.cOpn5 optogenetics may find broad applications in studying the mechanisms and functional relevance of G_(q) signaling in both non-excitable cells and excitable cells in all major organ systems.Ruicheng Dai Tao Yu Danwei Weng Heng Li Yuting Cui Zhaofa Wu Qingchun Guo Haiyue Zou Wenting Wu Xinwei Gao Zhongyang Qi Yuqi Ren Shu Wang Yulong Li Minmin Luo 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,7:0

17Dielectric and ferroelectric properties of CuO-doped lead magnesium niobate-based relaxor ferroelectric ceramics显示文摘In this work,we report the dielectric and ferroelectric properties of CuO-doped(1-x)[0.5573Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-0.4427PbTiO_(3)]-xBa(Zn_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))_(3)(PMNT-xBZN)relaxor ferrielectric ceramic samples with x=0.1725,0.1925,02125 and 0.2325,which were fabricated by a conventional solid-state reaction method.By introducing the CuO into PMNT-xBZN,the sintering temperature of this system is drastically lowered from 1280℃to 1120℃.The second pyrochlore phase,which is often generated during sintering at high temperature,is also inhibited.Meanwhile,broad dielectric peaks with strong dielectric relaxation characteristics are observed from150℃to 100℃.Slim and slanted P-E hysteresis loops and purely electrostrictive strains with V-shape are obtained simultaneously in studied compositions from 30℃to 150℃.These results suggest that CuO could effectively lower the sintering temperature while maintaining the dielectric and ferroelectric properties of PMNT-xBZN relaxor ferroelectric ceramics.Li Jin Jing Pang Yunyao Huang Wenting Luo Xu Lu Xiaoyong Wei 2019Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2019,9,4:0
