1Global assessment of promoter methylation in a mouse model of cancer identifies ID4 as a putative tumor-suppressor gene in human leukemia显示文摘DNA methylation is associated with malignant transformation, but limitations imposed by genetic variability, tumor heterogeneity, availability of paired normal tissues and methodologies for global assessment of DNA methylation have limited progress in understanding the extent of epigenetic events in the initiation and progression of human cancer and in identifying genes that undergo methylation during cancer. We developed a mouse model of T/natural killer acute lymphoblastic leukemia that is always preceded by polyclonal lymphocyte expansion to determine how aberrant promoter DNA methylation and consequent gene silencing might be contributing to leukemic transformation. We used restriction landmark genomic scanning with this mouse model of preleukemia reproducibly progressing to leukemia to show that specific genomic methylation is associated with only the leukemic phase and is not random. 2Petrogenesis of Shangyu gabbro-diorites in western Shandong:Geochronological and geochemical evidence显示文摘Chronology and geochemistry of the Shangyu gabbro-diorite in western Shandong were studied to understand their petrogenesis and the nature of the Mesozoic lithospheric mantle. The Shangyu intru-sion is mainly composed of a suite of gabbro-diorite. Zircons from the intrusion display eu-hedral-subhedral in shape and have high Th/U ratios (1.23―2.87), implying their magmatic origin. LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results for two samples indicate that they were formed in the Early Cre-taceous, yielding weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages of 129±1Ma and 134±2Ma, respectively. Except for early cumulate such as sample QT-19, their SiO2 and MgO contents range from 50.12% to 56.37% and from 3.52% to 6.37%, respectively. Moreover, the gabbro-diorites are characterized by high Mg# (0.54―0.63), enrichment in Na (Na2O/K2O ratios more than 1), Cr (73×10-6―217×10-6) and Ni (34×10-6―241×10-6), and intensive enrichments in light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs) and depletion in high field strength elements (HFSEs). Their initial 87Sr/86Sr ratios and ε Nd(t) values range from 0.70962 to 0.71081 and from-16.60 to-13.04, respectively. Taken together with the Early Creta-ceous high-Mg diorites and the mantle xenoliths from the Tietonggou and Jinling as well as basalts from the Fangcheng and Feixian, it is suggested that the primary magma for the Shangyu gab-bro-diorites should be derived from the enriched lithospheric mantle intensively modified by conti-nental crust. The Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic compositions for the Early Cretaceous high-Mg diorites in western Shandong display a trend of spatial variations, i.e., initial 87Sr/86Sr, 207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/204Pb ratios de-creasing and ε Nd(t) values increasing from southeast to northwest in western Shandong, which is con-sistent with the tectonic model that the Yangtze Craton subducted beneath the North China Craton oriented in north-west direction in the Early Mesozoic.YANG ChengHai XU WenLiang YANG DeBin WANG Wei WANG WeiDe LIU JinMin 2008Science China Earth Sciences2008,51,4:24

4Distribution of cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 2 in human traumatic brain injury and brain tumors显示文摘Aim: To determine the distribution of cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 2 (CysLT2),one of the cysteinyl leukotriene receptors, in human brains with traumatic injury and tumors. Methods: Brain specimens were obtained from patients who underwent brain surgery. CysLT2 in brain tissues was examined using immunohistochemical analysis. Results: CysLT2 was expressed in the smooth muscle cells (not in the endothelial cells) of arteries and veins. CysLT2 was also expressed in the granulocytes in both vessels and in the brain parenchyma. In addition, CysLT2 was detected in neuron- and glial-appearing cells in either the late stages of traumatic injury or in the area surrounding the tumors. 7Transfection of p27^(kip1) enhances radiosensitivity induced by ^(60)Co γ-irradiation in hepatocellular carcinoma HepG_2 cell line显示文摘AIM: To study the cell cycle alterations of human hepatoma cell line HepG2 in vitro after ^60Co γ-irradiation and further to examine the mechanisms underlying the enhancement of radiosensitivity to γ-irradiation in HepG2 transiently transfected with wild type p27^kip1. METHODS: The proliferation of HepG2 cells was evaluated with MTT assay, and the cell cycle profile and apoptosis were assessed by cell morphology, DNA fragmentation analysis and flow cytometry. HepG2 cells were transfectedwith p27^kip1 wild type by using Lipofectamine (LF2000), and the expression and subcellular localization of p27^kip1 in HepG2 were detected by immunocytochemistry.RESULTS: ^60Co γ-irradiation inhibited the growth of HepG2 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Apoptosis of HepG2 cells was induced 48 h after ~, ray exposure. Furthermore research was carried out to induce exogenous expression of p27^kip1 in HepG2. The expression of p27^kip1 induced G0/G1 phase arrest in HepG2 cells. The overexpression of p27^kip1 enhanced ^60Co γ-irradiation-induced radiosensitivity in HepG2 cells. 8Ultra-high extinction-ratio light modulation by electrically tunable metasurface using dual epsilon-near-zero resonances显示文摘The lossy nature of indium tin oxide(ITO) at epsilon-near-zero(ENZ) wavelength is used to design an electrically tunable metasurface absorber. The metasurface unit cell is constructed of a circular resonator comprising two ITO discs and a high dielectric constant perovskite barium strontium titanate(BST) film. The ENZ wavelength in the accumulation and depletion layers of ITO discs is controlled by applying a single bias voltage. The coupling of magnetic dipole resonance with the ENZ wavelength inside the accumulation layer of ITO film causes total absorption of reflected light. The reflection amplitude can achieve ~84 d B or ~99.99% modulation depth in the operation wavelength of 820 nm at a bias voltage of-2.5 V. 9Exploring porous zeolitic imidazolate frame work-8(ZIF-8)as an efficient filler for high-performance poly(ethyleneoxide)-based solid polymer electrolytes显示文摘Nano Research volume 13,pages2259–2267(2020)Cite this article 277 Accesses 1 Altmetric Metrics details Abstract The incorporation of inorganic fillers into poly(ethyleneoxide)(PEO)-based solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs)is well known as a low-cost and effective method to improve their mechanical and electrochemical properties.Porous zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8)is firstly used as the filler for PEO-based SPEs in this work.Due to the introduction of ZIF-8,an ionic conductivity of 2.2×10^−5 S/cm(30℃)is achieved for the composite SPE,which is one order of magnitude higher than that of the pure PEO.ZIF-8 also accounts for the broader electrochemical stability window and lithium ion transference number(0.36 at 60℃)of the composite SPE.Moreover,the improved mechanism of ZIF-8 to the composite SPE is investigated by zeta potential and Fourier transform infrared spectrograph characterizations.The stability at the composite SPE/lithium interface is greatly enhanced.The LiFePO4||Li cells using the composite SPE exhibit high capacity and excellent cycling performance at 60℃,i.e.,85%capacity retention with 111 mA·h/g capacity retained after 350 cycles at 0.5 C.In comparison,the cells using the pure PEO show fast capacity decay to 74 mA·h/g maintaining only 68 capacity.These results indicate that the PEO-based SPEs with ZIF-8 are of great promise for the application in solid-state lithium metal batteries.Zhiwen Lei Jinlai Shen Weide Zhang Qingrong Wang Jun Wang Yonghong Deng Chaoyang Wang 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:5
10Cloned goats (Gapra hircus) from foetal fibroblast cell lines显示文摘Mammalian cloning has been one of the most active research topics in the world. Cioning with in vitro culured foetal fibroblast cells, in comparison with embryonic cells, can be used not only to theoretically study the embryonic or cellular development and differentiation in mammals, but also to utilize the unlimited fibroblast cells to produce large numbers of clonings. The preliminary results are as follows: (i) The division and development of the cloned embryos with embryonic donor cells and goat foetal fibroblast donor cells were 55%, 77% and 35%, 31%, respectively. There is no significant statistical difference between them. (? These studies result in the birth of two cloned goats derived from two 30-day foetal fibroblast celi lines, which are the first cloned mammals from somatic cells in China. 11An Innovated Integrated Model Using Singular Spectrum Analysis and Support Vector Regression Optimized by Intelligent Algorithm for Rainfall Forecasting显示文摘Rainfall forecasting is becoming more and more significant and precipitation anomalies would lead to droughts and floods disasters.However,because of the complexity and non-stationary of rainfall data,it is difficult to forecast.In this paper,a novel hybrid model to forecast rainfall is developed by incorporating singular spectrum analysis (SSA) and dragonfly algorithm (DA) into support vector regression (SVR) method.Firstly,SSA is used for extracting the trend components of the hydrological data.Then,SVR is utilized to deal with the volatility and irregularity of the precipitation series.Finally,the parameter of SVR is optimized by DA.The proposed SSA-DA-SVR method is used to forecast the monthly precipitation for Songbai,Panshui,Lanma and Jiulongchi stations.To validate the efficiency of the method,four compared models,DA-SVR,SSA-GWO-SVR,SSA-PSO-SVR and SSA-CS-SVR are established.The result shows that the proposed method has the best performance among all five models,and its prediction has high precision and accuracy.Weide Li Juan Zhang 2019Journal of Autonomous Intelligence2019,2,1:4

14An expression profile of human α-lactalbumin in the milk of transgenic mouse显示文摘Five female transgenic mice were produced by microinjection using a construct made up of a 7.3-kb-5′ flanking region and a 2.0-kb coding region of human a-lactalbumin, as well as a 227-bp 3′-flanking region from bovine growth hormone gene. A founder female ex-pressed human a-lactalbumin as much as 0.3 g per liter of its milk, approximately a 3-fold in-crease in the total a-lactalbumin concentration of the transgenic mouse milk. Compared with the normal mice, the expression profile of the ha-Lac transgene in the transgenics is different during the lactation, showing low level in the first 3 days and becoming increased from day 4, then gradually reaching and stabilizing at the highest level from day 13. 16Morphological MRI and T2 mapping of cartilage repair tissue after mosaicplasty with tissue-engineered cartilage in a pig model显示文摘The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of mosaicplasty with tissue-engineered cartilage for the treatment of osteochondral defects in a pig model with advanced MR technique.Eight adolescent miniature pigs were used.The right knee underwent mosaicplasty with tissue-engineered cartilage for treatment of focal osteochondral defects,while the left knee was repaired via single mosaicplasty as controls.At 6,12,18 and 26 weeks after surgery,repair tissue was evaluated by magnetic resonance imaging(MSI)with the cartilage repair tissue(MOCART)scoring system and T2mapping.Then,the results of MRI for 26 weeks were compared with findings of macroscopic and histologic studies.The MOCART scores showed that the repaired tissue of the tissue-engineered cartilage group was statistically better than mat of controls(P<0.001).A significant correlation was found between macroscopic and MOCART scores(P<0.001).Comparable mean T2 values were found between adjacent cartilage and repair tissue in the experimental group(P>0.05).For zonal T2 value evaluation,there were no significant zonal T2 differences for repair tissue in controls(P>0.05).For the experimental group,zonal T2 variation was found in repair tissue(P<0.05).MRI,macroscopy and histology showed better repair results and bony incorporation in mosaicplasty with the tissue-engineered cartilage group than those of the single mosaicplasty group.Mosaicplasty with the tissue-engineered cartilage is a promising approach to repair osteochodndral defects.Morphological MRI and T2 mapping provide a non-invasive method for monitoring the maturation and integration of cartilage repair tissue in vivo.Qichun Chen Qiang Zuo Qianqian Hu Yang Feng Weiding Cui Weimin Fan Yuefen Zou 2014The Journal of Biomedical Research2014,28,4:2
