| 1 | The point mutation of p53 gene exon7 in hepatocellular carcinoma from Anhui Province,a non HCC prevalent area in China显示文摘AIM:In hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)prevalent areas of China,the point mutation of p53 exon7 is highly correlated with hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection and aflatoxin B intake While in non-HCC_prevalent areas of China,these factors are not so important in the etiology of HCC.Therefore,the point mutation of p53 exon7 may also be different than that in HCC-pervalent areas of China.The aim of this study is to investigate the status and carcinogenic role of the point mutation of p53 gene exon7 in hepatocellular carcinoma from Anhui Province,a non-HCC-prevalent area in China.METHODS:RCR,PCR-SSCP and PCR-RFLP were applied to analyze the homozygous deletion and point mutation of p53 exon7 in HCC samples from Anhui,which were confimed by DNA sequencing and Genbak comparison.RESULTS:In the 38 samples of hepatocellular carcinoma,no homozygous deletion of p53 exon7 was detected and point mutations of p53 exon7 were found in 4 cases,which were found to be heterozygous mutation of codon 249 with a mutation rate of 10.53%(4/38).The third base mutation(G→T)of p53 codon 249 was found by DNA sequencing and Genbank comparison.CONCLUSION:The incidence of point mutation of p53 codon 249 is lower in hepatocellular carcinoma and the heterozygous mutation of p53 exon7 found in these patients only indicate that they have genetic susceptibility to HCC p53 codon 249 is a hotspot of p53 exon7 point mutation suggesting that the point mutation of p53 exon 7 may not play a majuor role in the carcinogenesis of HCC in Anhui Province,a non-HCC-prevalent area in China. | LiuH WangY 等 | 2002 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2002,8,3: | 13 |

| 4 | MRF model and FRAME model-based unsupervised image segmentation显示文摘This paper presents a method for unsupervised segmentation of images consisting of multiple textures. The images under study are modeled by a proposed hierarchical random field model, which has two layers. The first layer is modeled as a Markov Random Field (MRF) representing an unobservable region image and the second layer uses 'Filters, Random and Maximum Entropy (Abb. FRAME)' model to represent multiple textures which cover each region. Compared with the traditional Hierarchical Markov Random Field (HMRF), the FRAME can use a bigger neighborhood system and model more complex patterns. The segmentation problem is formulated as Maximum a Posteriori (MAP) estimation according to the Bayesian rule. The iterated conditional modes (ICM) algorithm is carried out to find the solution of the MAP estimation. An algorithm based on the local entropy rate is proposed to simplify the estimation of the parameters of MRF. The parameters of FRAME are estimated by the ExpectationMaximum (EM) algorithm. | 5 | MSA in Beijing aerosol显示文摘Methane sulphonate (MSA) and sulfate (SO4^2-),the main oxidation products of dirnethyl sulfide (DMS), arethe target of atmospheric chemistry study, as sulfate aerosolwould have important impact on the global climate change. It is widely believed that DMS is rnainly emitted from phyto-plankton production in marine boundary layer (MBL), andMSA is usually used as the tracer of non-sea-salt sulfate (nss-SO4^2-) in marine and coastal areas/MSA/SO4^2- = 1/18) Manyobservations of MSA were in marine and coastal aerosols. Toour surprise, MSA was frequently (>60%) deteeted in BeijingTSP. PM10, and PM2.5 aerosols, even in the samples collectedduring the dust storm period. The concentrations of MSAwere higher than those measured in marine aerosols. Factoranalysis, correlation analysis and meteorology analysis indi-cated that there was no obvious marine influence on Beljiagaerosols. DMS from terrestrial emissions and dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) from industrial wastes could be the twopossible precursors of MSA. Warm and low-pressure airmasses and long time radiation were beneficial to the forma-tion of MSA. Anthropogenlc pollution from regional andlocal sources might be the dominant contributor to MSA inBeijing aerosol. This was the first report of MSA in aerosolscollected in an inland site in China. | 6 | Environmental and biogeo- chemical process of accumula- tion of iron-phosphorus in marine sediments显示文摘This paper discusses the environmental and biogeochemical process of accumulation of iron-phosphorus in marine sediments for the north aktian of the South China Sea and analyzes the relationships between the contents of iron, phosphorus and calcium carbonate as well as their ex-istent characteristics. The results show that the variances of phosphorus and calcium carbonate contents with depths are opposite and those of iron and calcium carbonate contents are almost accordant. It is not only related to the biogeo-chemical process of accumulation of biogenous calcium car-bonate in sediments, which resulted from the fact that the marine primary productivity was stimulated by part of ter-rigenous phosphorus dissolved into seawater due to decline of superficial water temperature and increase of carbon di-oxide content in the glacial period, but also related to iron impelled oxidation and accelerated deposit by the dissolved oxygen from the atmosphere and the photosynthesis of hy-drophytes in seawater.
