| 1 | Optimal dynamic spectrum allocation-assisted latency minimization for multiuser mobile edge computing显示文摘Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)has been envisioned as an efficient solution to provide computation-intensive yet latency-sensitive services for wireless devices.In this paper,we investigate the optimal dynamic spectrum allocation-assisted multiuser computation offloading in MEC for overall latency minimization.Specifically,we first focus on a static multiuser computation offloading scenario and jointly optimize users'offloading decisions,transmission durations,and Edge Servers'(ESs)resource allocations.Owing to the nonconvexity of our joint optimization problem,we identify its layered structure and decompose it into two problems:a subproblem and a top problem.For the subproblem,we propose a bisection search-based algorithm to efficiently find the optimal users'offloading decisions and ESs’resource allocations under a given transmission duration.Second,we use a linear search-based algorithm for solving the top problem to obtain the optimal transmission duration based on the result of the subproblem.Further,after solving the static scenario,we consider a dynamic scenario of multiuser computation offloading with time-varying channels and workload.To efficiently address this dynamic scenario,we propose a deep reinforcement learning-based online algorithm to determine the near-optimal transmission duration in a real-time manner.Numerical results are provided to validate our proposed algorithms for minimizing the overall latency in both static and dynamic offloading scenarios.We also demonstrate the advantages of our proposed algorithms compared to the conventional multiuser computation offloading schemes. | Yang Li Tianshun Wang Yuan Wu Weijia Jia | 2022 | Digital Communications and Networks2022,8,3: | 2 |

| 5 | The Interannual and Decadal Variability of the Sea Level in the Japan/East Sea显示文摘Sea level observed by altimeter during the 1993–2007 period and the thermosteric sea level from 1945 through 2005 obtained by using the global ocean temperature data sets recently published are used to investigate the interannual and decadal variability of the sea level in the Japan/East Sea (JES) and its response to El Nio and Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Both the interannual variations of the sea level observed by altimeter and those of the thermosteric sea level obtained from reanalyzed data in the JES are closely related to ENSO. As a result, one important consequence is that the sea level trends are mainly caused by the thermal expansion in the JES. An ‘enigma’ is revealed that the correlation between the thermosteric sea level and ENSO during the PDO (Pacific Decadal Oscillation) warm phase (post mid-1970s) is inconsistent with that during the cold phase (pre mid-1970s) in the JES. The thermosteric sea level trends and the Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) suggest a strong negative correlation during the period 1977–1998, whereas there appears a relatively weak positive correlation during the period 1945–1976 in the JES. Based on the SODA (Simple Oceanographic Data Assimilation) datasets, possible mechanisms of the interannual and decadal variability of the sea level in the JES are discussed. Comprehensive analysis reveals that the negative anomalies of SOI correspond to the positive anomalies of the southeast wind stress, the net advective heat flux and the sea level in the JES during the PDO warm phase. | 7 | Delay Minimization for Intelligent Reflecting Surface Assisted Federated Learning显示文摘Federated learning(FL), which allows multiple mobile devices to cooperatively train a machine learning model without sharing their data with the central server, has received widespread attention.However, the process of FL involves frequent communications between the server and mobile devices,which incurs a long latency. Intelligent reflecting surface(IRS) provides a promising technology to address this issue, thanks to its capacity to reconfigure the wireless propagation environment. In this paper, we exploit the advantage of IRS to reduce the latency of FL. Specifically, we formulate a latency minimization problem for the IRS assisted FL system, by optimizing the communication resource allocations including the devices’ transmit-powers, the uploading time, the downloading time, the multi-user decomposition matrix and the phase shift matrix of IRS. To solve this non-convex problem, we propose an efficient algorithm which is based on the Block Coordinate Descent(BCD) and the penalty difference of convex(DC) algorithm to compute the solution. Numerical results are provided to validate the efficiency of our proposed algorithm and demonstrate the benefit of deploying IRS for reducing the latency of FL. | 8 | Residue of Organphosphorus Pesticides in Chewing Cane Juices Detected by QuEChERS and GC-NPD Method显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to establish a quick detection method for residue of organphosphorus pesticides in chewing cane juices and provide guarantee for edible safety of chewing juice.[Method] By using QuEChERS and GC-NPD method,a rapid analysis method for residue of six kinds of organphosphorus pesticides( dichlorvos,chlorpyrifos-methyl,malathion,fenthion,chlorpyrifos and triazophos) in sugarcane juices was established.[Result] QuEChERS method was significantly superior to traditional extraction method and could extract six kinds of organphosphorus pesticides from chewing cane juices effectively,which greatly saved organic reagent and time.Good linearity was found in different standard curves;when the concentration of pesticides was from 0.020 to 0.100 mg/L,the recovery rate was from 68.58% to 92.85%,and relative standard deviation( RSD) was ranged from 2.16% to 9.89%.[Conclusion] The sensitivity,accuracy and precision of QuEChERS method were consistent with the technical requirements of pesticide residue determination.It not only could shorten sample processing cycle effectively,but also ensure that no impurity was in the sample peak and the recovery rate was also consistent with the requirements of residual analysis. | Fan Yegeng Liao Jie Liang Jun Mo Leixing Wang Tianshun Ya Yu Liang Qiang Li Song | 2013 | Plant Diseases and Pests2013,4,4: | 1 |
