| 1 | Improvement of center segregation in high-carbon steel billets using soft reduction显示文摘Center segregation is the main reason for cup fracture of high-carbon wire rod during drawing. Therefore, to continuously produce cast billets with very low center segregation is an important objective. The soft reduction technology is considered to be an effective method to minimize center segregation. To elucidate the effect of soft reduction on the internal quality of high-carbon steel billets, soft reduction was applied with different solid fractions in the core area of billets in a laboratory casting machine. A coupled temperature/displacement finite element model was developed to calculate the solid fraction using the commercial software ABAQUS.Center segregation, center porosity, homogeneity of elements, and equiaxed crystal zone were obviously improved by applying soft reduction, especially when the solid fraction was less than 1.0. | 2 | Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Mg–3Al–Zn Magnesium Alloy Sheet by Hot Shear Spinning显示文摘Hot shear spinning experiments with Mg–3.0 Al–1.0 Zn–0.5 Mn(AZ31 B, wt%) magnesium alloy sheets were conducted at various temperatures, spindle speeds and feed ratios to investigate the effects of these processing parameters on the microstructure, crystallographic texture and mechanical properties. The AZ31 B sheet displayed good shear formability at temperatures from 473 to 673 K, spindle speeds from 300 to 600 rev/min and feed ratios from 0.1 to 0.5 mm/rev. During the dynamic recrystallization process, the grain size and texture were affected by the deformation temperature of the hot shear spinning process. Each of the spun sheets presented a strong basal texture, and the c-axis of most of the grains was parallel to the normal direction. The optimal hot shear spinning parameters were determined to be a temperature of 473 K, a spindle speed of 300 rev/min and a feed ratio of 0.1 mm/rev. The yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and elongation in the rolled direction reached 221 MPa, 288 MPa and 14.1%, and those in the transverse direction reached 205 MPa, 280 MPa and 12.4%, respectively. | 3 | miR-7/TGF-β2 axis sustains acidic tumor microenvironment-induced lung cancer metastasis显示文摘Acidosis,regardless of hypoxia involvement,is recognized as a chronic and harsh tumor microenvironment(TME)that educates malignant cells to thrive and metastasize.Although overwhelming evidence supports an acidic environment as a driver or ubiquitous hallmark of cancer progression,the unrevealed core mechanisms underlying the direct effect of acidification on tumorigenesis have hindered the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and clinical therapy.Here,chemical-induced and transgenic mouse models for colon,liver and lung cancer were established,respectively.miR-7 and TGF-β2 expressions were examined in clinical tissues(n=184).RNA-seq,miRNA-seq,proteomics,biosynthesis analyses and functional studies were performed to validate the mechanisms involved in the acidic TME-induced lung cancer metastasis.Our data show that lung cancer is sensitive to the increased acidification of TME,and acidic TME-induced lung cancer metastasis via inhibition of miR-7-5 p.TGF-β2 is a direct target of miR-7-5 p.The reduced expression of miR-7-5 p subsequently increases the expression of TGF-β2 which enhances the metastatic potential of the lung cancer.Indeed,overexpression of miR-7-5 p reduces the acidic p H-enhanced lung cancer metastasis.Furthermore,the human lung tumor samples also show a reduced miR-7-5 p expression but an elevated level of activated TGF-β2;the expressions of both miR-7-5 p and TGF-β2 are correlated with patients’survival.We are the first to identify the role of the miR-7/TGF-β2 axis in acidic p H-enhanced lung cancer metastasis.Our study not only delineates how acidification directly affects tumorigenesis,but also suggests miR-7 is a novel reliable biomarker for acidic TME and a novel therapeutic target for non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)treatment.Our study opens an avenue to explore the p H-sensitive subcellular components as novel therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. | Tao Su Suchao Huang Yanmin Zhang Yajuan Guo Shuwei Zhang Jiaji Guan Mingjing Meng Linxin Liu Caiyan Wang Dihua Yu Hiu-Yee Kwan Zhiying Huang Qiuju Huang Elaine Lai-Han Leung Ming Hu Ying Wang Zhongqiu Liu Linlin Lu | 2022 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,2: | 2 |
| 4 | Effect of tumor necrosis factor inhibitors on rheumatoid arthritis-induced peripheral neuropathy A cohort study显示文摘In this historical cohort study,236 patients with primary rheumatoid arthritis were treated with the tumor necrosis factor inhibitors,etanercept or infliximab(n = 80),or by conventional methods(n = 156).Results revealed that 11 patients developed varying types of peripheral neuropathy at 1-2 years post-treatment(mean 16 months).The incidence of peripheral neuropathy in the tumor necrosis factor inhibitors treatment group was 8.8%(7/80),which was significantly higher than the conventional treatment group(2.6%;4/156).The relative risk of developing peripheral neuropathy in the tumor necrosis factor inhibitors treatment group was 3.41(95% confidence interval:1.03-11.31).Comparison of the tumor necrosis factor inhibitors revealed that etanercept and infliximab had no significant difference in terms of inducing peripheral neuropathy.Experimental findings indicate that tumor necrosis factor inhibitors may increase the risk of peripheral neuropathy. | Naizhi Wang Yingying Guo Lili Yang Wenyi Fu Yanbing Xu Linxin Hou Shuai Zhao Ning Zhang | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,11: | 2 |

| 7 | Formation of internal cracks in steel billets during soft reduction显示文摘To investigate the formation of internal cracks in steel billets during soft reduction, fully coupled thermo-mechanical finite element models were developed using the commercial software ABAQUS, also casting and soft reduction tests were carried out in a laboratory strand casting machine. With the finite element models, the temperature distribution, the stress and strain states in the bil-let were calculated. The relation between internal cracks and equivalent plastic strain, as well as maximal principal stress was ana-lyzed. The results indicate that tensile stresses can develop in the mushy zone during soft reduction and the equivalent strain nearby the zero ductility temperature (ZDT) increases with decreasing solid fraction. | 13 | Quaternized chitosan-assisted in situ synthesized CuS/cellulose nanofibers conductive paper for flexible electrode显示文摘Cellulose nanofibers(CNF)are considered to be a potential substrate of energy material for energy storage devices due to the foldable,lightweight,recyclable and environmentally friendly feature.However,the energy materials tend to distribute unevenly or fall off from CNF easily,resulting in the decrease of the devices’overall performance.Here,for the first time,we used quaternized chitosan(QCS)as stabilizer and adhesive to in situ synthesize and deposite copper sulfide nanocrystals(CuS-NCs)on CNF and further obtained the conductive paper for flexible supercapacitors.In the presence of QCS,CuS-NCs deposited in situ on CNF can be capped and stabilized by the QCS molecular chains for uniform distribution,which is conducive to the capacitive behavior and electrochemical stability of composite paper.The result shows that the specific capacitance of the composite paper was as high as 314.3 F/g at a current density of 1 A/g,a high rate capacitance of 252.6 F/g was achieved even at a high current density of 10 A/g.It reveals that the composite paper exhibited better electrochemical performance than many other CuS-based electrode materials for supercapacitor.More importantly,the composite paper performed well in various folding state without changing much electrochemical performance.Therefore,this work provides a novel strategy to in situ fabricate paper-based electrode for nextgeneration flexible energy-storage system. | Xiujie Huang Bichong Luo Chuanfu Liu Linxin Zhong Dongdong Ye Xiaoying Wang | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,7: | 0 |
