| 1 | Prognostic factors for transarterial chemoembolization combined with sustained oxaliplatin-based hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy of colorectal cancer liver metastasis显示文摘Objective: To investigate the prognostic factors in chemorefractory colorectal cancer liver metastasis(CRCLM)patients treated by transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) and sustained hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC).Methods: Between 2006 and 2015, 162 patients who underwent 763 TACE and HAIC in total were enrolled in this retrospective study, including 110 males and 52 females, with a median age of 60(range, 26–83) years.Prognostic factors were assessed with Log-rank test, Cox univariate and multivariate analyses.Results: The median survival time(MST) and median progression-free survival(PFS) of the 162 patients from first TACE/HAIC were 15.6 months and 5.5 months respectively. Normal serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9, <37 U/m L)(P<0.001) and carbohydrate antigen 72-4(CA72-4, <6.7 U/m L)(P=0.026), combination with other local treatment(liver radiotherapy or liver radiofrequency ablation)(P=0.034) and response to TACE/HAIC(P<0.001) were significant factors related to survival after TACE/HAIC in univariate analysis. A multivariate analysis revealed that normal serum CA19-9(P<0.001), response to TACE/HAIC(P<0.001) and combination with other local treatment(P=0.001) were independent factors among them.Conclusions: Our findings indicate that serum CA19-9 <37 U/m L and response to TACE/HAIC are significant prognostic indicators for this combined treatment, and treated with other local treatment could reach a considerable survival benefit for CRCLM. | 4 | Optimal observation configuration of UAVs based on angle and range measurements and cooperative target tracking in three-dimensional space显示文摘This article investigates the optimal observation configuration of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs) based on angle and range measurements, and generalizes predecessors' researches in two dimensions into three dimensions. The relative geometry of the UAVs-target will significantly affect the state estimation performance of the target, the cost function based on the Fisher information matrix(FIM) is used to derive the FIM determinant of UAVs' observation in three-dimensional space, and the optimal observation geometric configuration that maximizes the determinant of the FIM is obtained. It is shown that the optimal observation configuration of the UAVs-target is usually not unique, and the optimal observation configuration is proved for two UAVs and three UAVs in three-dimension. The long-range over-the-horizon target tracking is simulated and analyzed based on the analysis of optimal observation configuration for two UAVs. The simulation results show that the theoretical analysis and control algorithm can effectively improve the positioning accuracy of the target. | 5 | Ethylenediamine promoted the hydrogenative coupling of nitroarenes over Ni/C catalyst显示文摘Azobenzene and its derivatives are key raw materials and it is an environmentally friendly method for the preparation of azobenzene by hydrogenative coupling of nitrobenzene. The development of nickel based catalyst for organic transformations is of importance because of its relatively low cost and toxicity. In this work, we found that ethylenediamine can enrich the electron state of Ni and make the azobenzene easily desorb from the surface of the catalyst, which inhibits the hydrogenation of azobenzene to aniline. The selectivity of azobenzene is greatly improved. | 7 | Regulating the growth of lithium dendrite by coating an ultra-thin layer of gold on separator for improving the fast-charging ability of graphite anode显示文摘With the ever-growing application of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), their fast-charging technology has attracted great interests of scientists. However, growth of lithium dendrites during fast charge of the bat teries with high energy density may pose great threats to the operation and cause serious safety issues Herein, we prepared a functional separator with an ultra-thin(20 nm) layer of Au nanoparticles deposited by evaporation coating method which could regulate growth direction and morphology of the lithium dendrites, owing to nearly zero overpotential of lithium meal nucleation on lithiated Au. Once the Li den drites are about to form on the graphite anode during fast charging(or lithiation), they plate predomi nantly on the Au deposited separator rather than on the graphite. Such selective deposition does no compromise the electrochemical performance of batteries under normal cycling. More importantly, i enables the better cycling stability of batteries at fast charge condition. The Li/Graphite cells with Au nanoparticles coated separator could cycle stably with a high areal capacity retention of 90.5% over 95 cycles at the current density of 0.72 m A cm^(-2). | 8 | Degradation of metronidazole by dielectric barrier discharge in an aqueous solution显示文摘Degradation of metronidazole (MNZ) which is a representative and stable antibiotic by dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) in an aqueous solution has been studied. Effects of initial MNZ concentration, solution pH and coexisting organics on the degradation were investigated. The results illustrated that increasing the input power and the discharge frequency can improve the removal of MNZ. At low initial concentration, the removal of MNZ can reach up to 99.1%. Acidic and neutral conditions are more favorable for MNZ removal than alkaline condition in the early stage of degradation. However, the difference in MNZ removal between those in acidic or neutral media and that in alkaline one could be neglected with prolonging of the treatment time. Therefore, this method can be applied to MNZ degradation with a wide pH range. Coexisting organic matter in water can attenuate the removal to some extent. | 14 | Commonalities and characteristics of aqueous extracts from three Uighur medicines were analyzed by using three-stage infrared spectroscopy combined with ultra-performance liquid chromatography-time of flight-mass spectra显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To establish a method to analyze the commonalities and characteristics of the aqueous extracts from three Uighur medicines.METHODS: In this study, a combination method of three-stage infrared spectroscopy and ultra-performance liquid chromatography-time of flight-mass spectra(UPLC-TOF-MS) method was used to analyze the commonalities and characteristics of the aqueous extracts from Hezi(Fructus Chebulae),Maohezi(Terminalia Belliricae Fructus) and Xiqingguo(Chebulae Fructus Immaturus).RESULTS: In Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy spectra, all three samples showed the characteristic absorption peaks of tannins similarly. According to UPLC-TOF-MS data analysis, the difference of the position and intensity of the peaks at 1713-1707 cm^(-1) in the three samples were related to the difference in the relative content of tannin and pentacyclic triterpenoids. In second derivative infrared spectroscopy spectra, further analysis of the differences in the infrared spectra of the three samples was performed by increasing the apparent resolution. In combination with UPLC-TOF-MS data, some features infrared absorption peaks were assigned.The absorption peaks at 1032-1030 cm^(-1) assigned to the stretching vibration of C-O-C(ether bond)groups of tannins; 1164-1163, 1063-1062, 1009-1005, 904 cm^(-1) attributed to the stretching vibration of C-O(ether bond) and C-O-C groups of glycosidic compounds. 1385-1383 cm^(-1) attributed to the bending vibration of C-H(alkyl hydrogen) of methoxyl group of pentacyclic triterpenoids. Peak 835 cm^(-1) was assigned to the characteristic absorption peak of bending vibration of = C-H groups of pentacyclic triterpenoids. The two dimensional correlation infrared spectroscopy could further quickly distinguish three samples through the dynamic structural information of their chemical components and discrepancy of auto-peaks and cross-peaks intuitively in the range of 1720-419 cm^(-1).CONCLUSION: By comparing the intensity of the infrared characteristic absorption peaks, the main chemical components were assigned, which significantly enriched and perfected the data analysis of the infrared spectra of three Uighur Medicines. Isoforsythiaside(IFY)is a phenylethanoid glycoside isolated from the dried fruit of Forsythia suspensa(Thunb.)Vahl that has been confirmed to improve the memory and cognitive abilities of APP/PS1 mice in our previous study. The purpose of this study was to explore the anti-ferroptosis and anti-neuroinflammatory properties of IFY-mediated neuroprotection. In APP/PS1 mice, erastin-damaged HT22 cells, and LPS-exposed BV2 cells, the neuroprotective effects against ferroptosis and neuroinflammation were investigated using immunohistochemistry, label-free proteomics, western blot, ELISA, MTT, fluorescence, and TEM. IFY alleviated the expression levels of NO, IL-6, and IL-1β in LPS-exposed BV2 cells and improved the morphology of mitochondria in erastin-damaged HT22 cells. Additionally, IFY upregulated the expression levels of GPX4, FTH, FTL, p-GSK-3β, Nrf2, and NQO1, and downregulated the expression of TFR1, DMT1, p-Fyn, GFAP, p-IKKα+β, p-IκBα, p-NF-κB, and pro-inflammatory factors in the brains of APP/PS1 mice and erastin-damaged HT22 cells. In conclusion, IFY inhibits ferroptosis and neuroinflammation in erastin-damaged HT22 cells and APP/PS1 mice, at least partially by regulating the activation of Nrf2 and NF-κB signaling. | 18 | N-vinyl pyrrolidone promoted aqueous-phase dehydrogenation of formic acid over PVP-stabilized Ru nanoclusters显示文摘In this work, we fabricated the poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone)(PVP)-stabilized ruthenium(0) nanoclusters by reduction of RuCl_3 using different reducing agents, and studied their catalytic activity in hydrogen generation from the decomposition of formic acid.It was demonstrated that N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone(NVP), which is a monomer of PVP, could promote the reaction by coordination with Ru nanoparticles. The Ru nanoparticles catalyst reduced by sodium borohydride(NaBH_4) exhibited highest catalytic activity for the decomposition of formic acid into H_2 and CO_2. The turnover of numenber(TOF) value could reach 26113 h^(–1) at 80 °C.
