| 2 | Dissolution of different zinc salts and Zn uptake by Sedum alfredii and maize in mono-and co-cropping under hydroponic culture显示文摘Previous soil pot and field experiments demonstrated that co-cropping the hyperaccumulator Sedum alfredii with maize increased Zn phytoextraction by S. alfredii and decreased Zn uptake by maize shoots. This hydroponic experiment was conducted to investigate whether the facilitation of Zn phytoextraction by S. alfredii resulted from improved dissolution in this co-cropping system and its relation to root exudates. S. alfredii and maize were mono-and co-cropped (without a root barrier) in nutrient solution spiked with four Zn compounds, ZnS, ZnO, Zn3(PO4)2 and 5ZnO·2CO3·4H2O (represented as ZnCO3 ) at 1000 mg/L Zn for 15 days without renewal of nutrient solution after pre-culture. The root exudates were collected under incomplete sterilization and analyzed. The results indicated that the difference in Zn salts had a greater influence on the Zn concentration in maize than for S. alfredii, varying from 210-2603 mg/kg for maize shoots and 6445-12476 mg/kg for S. alfredii in the same order: ZnCO3 > ZnO >Zn3(PO4)2 > ZnS. For the four kinds of Zn sources in this experiment, co-cropping with maize did not improve Zn phytoextraction by S. alfredii. In most cases, compared to co-cropped and mono-cropped maize, mono-cropped S. alfredii resulted in the highest Zn2+ concentration in the remaining nutrient solution, and also had a higher total concentration of low molecular weight organic acids (LMWOA) and lower pH of root exudation. | 5 | A Novel Supervised Method for Hyperspectral Image Classification with Spectral-Spatial Constraints显示文摘In this paper, a new supervised classification method, combining spectral and spatial information,is proposed. The method is based on the two following facts. First, a hyperspectral pixel can be sparsely represented by a linear combination of the dictionary consists of a few labeled samples. If any unknown hyperspectral pixel lies in the subspace spanned by some labeled-class samples, it will be classified to this labeled-class. And this is to solve a fully constrained sparse unmixing problem with the l2 regularization and the criterion of classification is relaxed to be determined by the largest value of sparse vector whose nonzero entries correspond to the weights of the labeled samples. Second, since the nearest neighbors probably belong to the same class, a spatial constraint is introduced. Alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM) and the graph cut based method are then used to solve the spectral-spatial model. Finally, two real hyperspectral data sets are used to validate our proposed method. | 7 | Sewage sludge ditch for recovering heavy metals can improve crop yield and soil environmental quality显示文摘The treatment and disposal of municipal sewage sludge(MSS)is an urgent problem to be resolved in many countries.Safely using the nutrients within MSS to increase crop yield and enhance the fertility of poor soil could contribute to achieving sustainable development.An indirect use of MSS in ditches alongside Pennisetum hybridum plants was studied in field plots for 30 months and the contents of heavy metals and macronutrients were monitored in soil,sludge and plant samples.We found that the yield of P.hybridum was significantly increased by 2.39 to 2.80 times and the treated plants had higher N content compared with no sludge.In addition,the organic matter(OM)and N contents in the planted soil increased significantly compared with the initial soil.The OM content in the planted soil of the MSS treatment was 2.9 to 5.2 times higher than that with no sludge,and N increased by 2.0 to 3.8 times.However,MSS had no significant effect on the N,P and K contents in the soil at the bottom of the MSS ditch,and the content of heavy metals(Cd,Pb,Cu and Zn)were also within the safe range.Moreover,the moisture content and phytotoxicity of MSS after this indirect use were reduced and the heavy metal contents changed little,which is favorable to the further disposal of recovered MSS.Therefore,this indirect use of MSS is beneficial to agricultural production,soil quality and environmental sustainability. | Xianke Lin Xiaohong Chen Sichang Li Yangmei Chen Zebin Wei Qitang Wu | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,2: | 0 |

| 9 | Analyses on Community Composition and Diversity of Endophytic Bacteria in Different Tissues of Anoectochilus roxburghii显示文摘[Objective] T his study aimed to investigate the diversity of community composition and diversity of endophytic bacteria in Anoectochilus roxburghii.[Method]By using Illumina MiSeq high-throughput sequencing technology,the 16S rDNA-V4 region of endophytic bacteria in A. roxburghii was sequenced. Qiime and Mothur software packages were used to sort and count the number of sequences and operational taxonomic units(OTUs) and analyze the species abundance and distribution,Alpha diversity and differences of species abundance among samples. [Result] The number of effective sequences / OTUs for each sample was110485 /247(stem) and 98524 /259(leaf),respectively. The rarefaction curve showed that adequate sampling was performed. The number of OTUs had almost reached a saturation point. Endophytic bacteria in A. roxburghii mainly belonged to the genera Acidovorax,Pseudomonas,Sphingomonas and Halomonas. | 10 | Root cell walls and phytochelatins in low-cadmium cultivar of Brassica parachinensis显示文摘‘Lvbao-701’ is a cultivar of Chinese flowering cabbage(Brassica parachinensis) that exhibits low cadmium(Cd) accumulation and high Cd tolerance.In this study, this cultivar was compared with a high-Cd accumulating cultivar, ‘Chixin-4’, to characterize the mechanisms influencing Cd accumulation in B. parachinensis. Root cell walls were isolated by dissolving the cytoplasm with an organic solvent, and root Cd and phytochelatin(PC) contents were analyzed. In addition, a PC synthase gene fragment was cloned and expressed under Cd stress conditions. The proportions of Cd bound to root cell walls were higher in the ‘Lvbao-701’ plants(68.32%–76.80%) than in the ‘Chixin-4’ plants(35.36%–54.18%) after exposure to Cd stress. The proportions of Cd bound to root cell walls measured using cell walls isolated with a non-destructive method were higher than those obtained using a conventional method that required grinding and centrifugation. Exposure to Cd stress induced the PC production and resulted in higher PC contents in the ‘Lvbao-701’ plants than in the ‘Chixin-4’ plants. Cloning and expression analysis of a B. parachinensis PC synthase cDNA fragment indicated that PC synthase gene expression was induced by Cd and occurred mainly in the roots of both ‘Lvbao-701’ and ‘Chixin-4’ plants. However, the PC synthase gene expression level was higher in the‘Lvbao-701’ roots than in the ‘Chixin-4’ roots. | 11 | Debris cloud structure and hazardous fragments distribution under hypervelocity yaw impact显示文摘This study investigates how the debris cloud structure and hazardous fragment distribution vary with attack angle by simulating a circular cylinder projectile hypervelocity impinging on a thin plate using the finite element-smoothed particle hydrodynamics(FE-SPH)adaptive method.Based on the comparison and analysis of the experimental and simulation results,the FE-SPH adaptive method was applied to address the hypervelocity yaw impact problem,and the variation law of the debris cloud structure with the attack angle was obtained.The screening criterion of the hazardous fragment at yaw impact is given by analyzing the debris formation obtained by the FE-SPH adaptive method,and the distribution characteristics of hazardous fragments and their relationship with the attack angle are given.Moreover,the velocity space was used to evaluate the distribution range and damage capability of asymmetric hazardous fragments.The maximum velocity angle was extended from fully symmetrical working conditions to asymmetrical cases to describe the asymmetrical debris cloud distribution range.In this range,the energy density was calculated to quantitatively analyze how much damage hazardous fragments inflict on the rear plate.The results showed that the number of hazardous fragments generated by the case near the 35°attack angle was the largest,the distribution range was the smallest,and the energy density was the largest.These results suggest that in this case,debris cloud generated by the impact had the strongest damage to the rear plate. | Chenyang Wu Qi-Guang He Xiaowei Chen Chunbo Zhang Zebin Shen | 2023 | Defence Technology(防务技术)2023,27,9: | 0 |

| 13 | Improving superficial microstructure and properties of the laser-processed ultrathin kerf in Ti-6Al-4V alloy by water-jet guiding显示文摘In the present research,the gas-assisted laser(GAL)and water-jet guided laser(WGL)processing technologies were applied to machine the ultrathin kerf in the wrought Ti-6Al-4V alloy.The microstructure,microhardness,and wear properties of the superficial layer were investigated.The results reveal that the GAL processing could machine the kerf with a high depth-to-width ratio of 12–15,but the increased processing times enhance the depth little.Due to the oxygen entrainment and relatively low heat and mass transferring efficiency,the assisted gas promotes the formation of a scaled recast layer containingβ-Ti phase and oxides,which increases the roughness to 20μm.The WGL processed kerf has a low depth-to-width ratio with a value of 1.9–2.5 and the depth could be increased by increasing the WGL processing times.With the assistance of the water jet,the remelted debris and heat could be eliminated immediately,which restrains the formation of the recast layer and heat-affected zone.The ultrathin oxide outer layer with hundreds of nanometers and ultrafineα-Ti grain inner layer are formed on the surface,which decreases the roughness to 12μm.Compared with the as-received Ti-6Al-4V alloy,the microhardness of GAL processed kerf surface is increased to 382.8 HV accompanied by residual tensile stress,while the microhardness of WGL processed kerf surface is increased to 481.6 HV accompanying with residual compressive stress.In addition,the GAL processing increases the wear rate at room temperature but decreases the wear rate at high temperatures.Comparatively,the WGL processing decreases the wear rate at room and high temperatures,simultaneously.Such wear behaviors could be ascribed to their different superficial microstructures and phase constituents. | Yang Chao Yuezhuan Liu Zifa Xu Weixin Xie Li Zhang Wentai Ouyang Haichen Wu Zebin Pan Junke Jiao Shujun Li Guangyi Zhang Wenwu Zhang Liyuan Sheng | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,25: | 0 |

This study investigated the biological characteristics of the 15 ornamental vegetables by introduction trial and grey correlation analysis. In addition,we discussed the application of ornamental vegetables in urban agriculture. [Results]The grey correlation values of 11 ornamental vegetables were greater than 0. 6. The grey correlation values of other four ornamental vegetables were less than 0. 5. Among them,the grey correlation of Beta vulgaris L. var. cicla L. was 0. 94,which have the highest appreciation evaluation. The second appreciation evaluation belonged to rainbow leafy Beta vulgaris L. var. cicla L. with grey correlation of 0. 88. | 15 | Coupling and evolution mechanism of infrastructure mega-projects complex ecosystem: Case study on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge显示文摘Infrastructure mega-projects(IMP), which involve complex interactions and feedback, have more significant impact on economic, social, and other systems.This paper proposes a concept—the IMP complex ecosystem—to analyze IMP from a broad perspective of organic links across engineering, social, economic, and resource environments. Moreover, this paper proposes the theoretical concept, framework, and functions for the IMP complex ecosystem based on complex ecosystem theory.First, the coupling process between IMP complex ecosystem subsystems is analyzed through material flows, energy flows, information flows, and value streams.Second, a logistic model of the IMP complex ecosystem is proposed by analyzing the evolution conditions and motivations. Third, the evolution pattern of the IMP complex ecosystem is determined. Fourth, the positive evolution strategy of the IMP complex ecosystem based on dissipative structure theory and the influencing factors of the evolutionary process is introduced. Finally, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Sousa chinensis are used as the case study.
