2Orbital angular momentum mode logical operation using optical diffractive neural network显示文摘Optical logical operations demonstrate the key role of optical digital computing,which can perform general-purpose calculations and possess fast processing speed,low crosstalk,and high throughput.The logic states usually refer to linear momentums that are distinguished by intensity distributions,which blur the discrimination boundary and limit its sustainable applications.Here,we introduce orbital angular momentum(OAM)mode logical operations performed by optical diffractive neural networks(ODNNs).Using the OAM mode as a logic state not only can improve the parallel processing ability but also enhance the logic distinction and robustness of logical gates owing to the mode infinity and orthogonality.ODNN combining scalar diffraction theory and deep learning technology is designed to independently manipulate the mode and spatial position of multiple OAM modes,which allows for complex multilight modulation functions to respond to logic inputs.We show that few-layer ODNNs successfully implement the logical operations of AND,OR,NOT,NAND,and NOR in simulations.The logic units of XNOR and XOR are obtained by cascading the basic logical gates of AND,OR,and NOT,which can further constitute logical half-adder gates.Our demonstrations may provide a new avenue for optical logical operations and are expected to promote the practical application of optical digital computing.PEIPEI WANG WENJIE XIONG ZEBIN HUANG YANLIANG HE ZHIQIANG XIE JUNMIN LIU HUAPENG YE YING LI DIANYUAN FAN SHUQING CHEN 2021Photonics Research2021,9,10:5
3Dissolution of different zinc salts and Zn uptake by Sedum alfredii and maize in mono-and co-cropping under hydroponic culture显示文摘Previous soil pot and field experiments demonstrated that co-cropping the hyperaccumulator Sedum alfredii with maize increased Zn phytoextraction by S. alfredii and decreased Zn uptake by maize shoots. This hydroponic experiment was conducted to investigate whether the facilitation of Zn phytoextraction by S. alfredii resulted from improved dissolution in this co-cropping system and its relation to root exudates. S. alfredii and maize were mono-and co-cropped (without a root barrier) in nutrient solution spiked with four Zn compounds, ZnS, ZnO, Zn3(PO4)2 and 5ZnO·2CO3·4H2O (represented as ZnCO3 ) at 1000 mg/L Zn for 15 days without renewal of nutrient solution after pre-culture. The root exudates were collected under incomplete sterilization and analyzed. The results indicated that the difference in Zn salts had a greater influence on the Zn concentration in maize than for S. alfredii, varying from 210-2603 mg/kg for maize shoots and 6445-12476 mg/kg for S. alfredii in the same order: ZnCO3 > ZnO >Zn3(PO4)2 > ZnS. For the four kinds of Zn sources in this experiment, co-cropping with maize did not improve Zn phytoextraction by S. alfredii. In most cases, compared to co-cropped and mono-cropped maize, mono-cropped S. alfredii resulted in the highest Zn2+ concentration in the remaining nutrient solution, and also had a higher total concentration of low molecular weight organic acids (LMWOA) and lower pH of root exudation. 4The Enlightenment on Urban Ecological Construction by Research Progress of Sponge City in China Based on Literature Analysis显示文摘To quantitatively analyze main figure,field,agency and level of sponge city research in China,and clear research focus and hot spot in each year,by using the Full Text Database of Chinese Sci-tech Periodicals and other retrieval tools,the statistics and analysis of 3152 research literatures on sponge city published in domestic academic journals of 2004-2016 are conducted based on bibliometrics. It is found that since the concept of ' sponge city' was firstly proposed in 2012,development research of sponge city involves 40 subject fields and is mainly published in 32 kinds of journals,which is dominated by natural science research( 1427 literatures). Researchers are mainly from each college and university,some design institutes and Chinese Academy of Sciences. 5Effect of Intravital Staining on Leaf Surface Coloring and Plant Carbon and Nitrogen Nutrition in Chlorophytum comosum var. variegatum显示文摘Using potted seedlings of Chlorophytum comosum var. variegatum as the experimental materials,the effect of 2. 0 mmol/L methyl orange( Treatment T_1),1. 0 mmol/L methyl violet( Treatment T_2) and 1. 0 mmol/L neutral red( Treatment T_3) on the biomass,root-shoot ratio,leaf color indices,plant carbon and nitrogen nutrition were studied. The results showed that the biomass of Treatment T_3 was significantly greater than that of treatments T_1 and CK. The root-shoot ratio decreased significantly in treatments T_1,T_2 and T_3,and the decrease in T_3 was most obvious. In all the three treatments with coloring agent,a*,b*and L*values were increased gradually,C value were decreased,H_0 and CIRG were increased,and the leaves were pink. In addition,the contents of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,chlorophyll a + b and carotenoid were significantly decreased. The contents of soluble sugar and starch were also decreased,and the decrease in Treatment T_2 was most significant. The contents of soluble protein and total nitrogen were increased,and the increase was most dramatic in Treatment T_3. The carbon to nitrogen ratio was decreased. 6Benefits of Zr addition to oxidation resistance of a single-phase (Ni,Pt)Al coating at 1373 K显示文摘A single-phase (Ni,Pt)Al coating with lean addition of Zr was prepared by co-electroplating of Pt-Zr com posite plating and subsequent gaseous alum inization treatm ents. Isotherm al and cyclic oxidation behavior of the Zr-doped (Ni,Pt)Al coating sam ples was assessed at 1373K in static air in comparison with plain nickel alum inide (NiAl) and norm al (Ni,Pt)Al coatings. Results indicated th at Zr-doped (Ni,Pt)Al coating dem onstrated a lower oxidation rate constant and reduced tendency of oxide scale spallation as well as surface rumpling, in which the enhanced oxidation perform ance was m ainly attributed to the segregation of Zr at oxide scale grain boundaries and the im proved Young's modulus of the coating. 11Systematic Analysis of Gene Expression in Western Flower Thrip( Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande ) before and after Infection with Impatiens Necrotic Spot Virus(INSV)显示文摘Impatiens necrotic spot virus( INSV) is an important plant virus identified in recent years. Western flower thrip( Frankliniella occidentalis) has been confirmed to be the most efficient vector for INSV. In the present study,Illumina's second-generation sequencing technique was used to determine the variation in gene expression at the transcriptome level in western flower thrip before and after infection with INSV. By aligning 168 188 unigenes of western flower thrip to the NCBI protein database,47 558 unigenes were annotated,accounting for 28. 27% of the total. Species classification revealed that 58. 7% of the annotated unigenes of western flower thrip did not match any other species,and 15. 4% of had a match in Zootermopsis navadensis,12. 4% in Mus musculus,7. 3% in Mustela putorius,3. 4% in Theileria parva,and 2. 7% in Tribolium castaneum. By analyzing DEGs between INSV-free and INSV-carrying western flower thrips,we found that 11 genes were upregulated,and 9 genes were downregulated in western flower thrip after INSV infection. 13Study on Endophytic Bacteria Diversity in the Root of Peperomia dindygulensis Miq. by Applying Clone Library Construction Method显示文摘[Objectives] To study the endophytic bacteria diversity in the root of Peperomia dindygulensis Miq. [Methods] The root of P.dindygulensis Miq. was taken as materials,culture-independent method was applied to build 16 S rDNA clone library for endophytic bacteria of P. dindygulensis Miq. [Results] In the 16 S rDNA clone library for endophytic bacteria of P. dindygulensis Miq.,95 clones separately belonged to 46 OTUs,Phylogenetic analysis indicated that these cloning sequences separately belonged to phylum Proteobacteria,phylum Bacteroidetes,phylum Actinobacteria,phylum Nitrospirae,and phylum Gemmatimonadetes. In these,phylum Proteobacteria accounted for 70. 53% of total number of clones,so it was the most dominant group in this library. 14Effects of Plant Secondary Metabolite Nicotine on Growth and Development of Frankliniella occidentalis显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to explore the chemical and molecular mechanisms of Frankliniella occidentalis, an important quarantine pest, against toxic substances. [Method] F. occidentalis were evaluated after continuous exposure to artificial diets containing nicotine from the 2^(nd) and the 3^(rd)instars for five generations, to determine the larval weight, pupal weight, and larval development duration. [Result] The larval development delayed and nicotine treatment significantly inhibited the weight gain of larvae. Compared to the control, the inhibition rates of larval weight and pupal weight were declined from 45% to 20% and from 25% to 4% respectively after feeding the 2^(nd)instars with nicotine for five generations.Nicotine delayed the larval growth and prolonged the generation duration of F. occidentalis. Nicotine showed more significant inhibitory effect on the lower instar larvae. With the increasing generations of secondary culture, the inhibitory effect of nicotine on larval weight and pupal weight was weakened. The developmental period of larvae was shortened, and the generation duration of F. occidentalis was shortened. [Conclusion] Nicotine affects the growth and development of F. occidentalis. 16Recent deveolpment of multifunctional responsive gas-releasing nanoplatforms for tumor therapeutic application显示文摘Gas therapy(GT)exhibits great potential for clinical application due to its high therapeutic efficiency,low systemic side effects,and biosafety,thereinto,a multifunctional nanoplatform is generally needed for controllable gas release and precise delivery to tumor tissue.In this review,the recent development of multifunctional nanoplatforms for efficient tumor delivery of stimuliresponsive gas-releasing molecules(GRMs),which could be triggered by either exogenous physical or endogenous tumor microenvironment(TME)is summarized.The reported therapeutic gas molecules,including oxygen(O_(2)),hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S),nitric oxide(NO),hydrogen(H_(2)),and carbon monoxide(CO),etc.,could directly influence or change the pathological status.Additionally,abundant nanocarriers have been employed for gas delivery into cancer region,such as mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs),metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),two-dimensional(2D)nanomaterials,and liposomes,as well as nonnanocarriers including inorganic and organic nanoparticles.In the end,the outlooks of current challenges of GT and GRMs delivery nanoplatforms as well as the prospects of future clinical applications are proposed.Zebin Yang Hangrong Chen 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0
17Combinatorial Optimization of Physics Parameterization Schemes for Typhoon Simulation Based on a Simple Genetic Algorithm(SGA)显示文摘Each physical process in a numerical weather prediction(NWP)system may have many different parameterization schemes.Early studies have shown that the performance of different physical parameterization schemes varies with the weather situation to be simulated.Thus,it is necessary to select a suitable combination of physical parameterization schemes according to the variation of weather systems.However,it is rather difficult to identify an optimal combination among millions of possible parameterization scheme combinations.This study applied a simple genetic algorithm(SGA)to optimizing the combination of parameterization schemes in NWP models for typhoon forecasting.The feasibility of SGA was verified with the simulation of Typhoon Mujigae(2015)by using the Weather Research and Forecasting(WRF)model and Typhoon Higos(2020)by using the Coupled Ocean–Atmosphere–Wave–Sediment Transport(COAWST)modeling system.The results show that SGA can efficiently obtain the optimal combination of schemes.For Typhoon Mujigae(2015),the optimal combination can be found from the 1,304,576 possible combinations by running only 488 trials.Similar results can be obtained for Typhoon Higos(2020).Compared to the default combination proposed by the COAWST model system,the optimal combination scheme significantly improves the simulation of typhoon track and intensity.This study provides a feasible way to search for the optimal combinations of physical parameterization schemes in WRF and COAWST for more accurate typhoon simulation.This can help provide references for future development of NWP models,and for analyzing the coordination and adaptability of different physical process parameterization schemes under specific weather backgrounds.Zebin LU Jianjun XU Zhiqiang CHEN Jinyi YANG Jeremy Cheuk-Hin LEUNG Daosheng XU Banglin ZHANG 2024Journal of Meteorological Research2024,38,1:0
18Diversity of Moth Community in Wujiatang Wetland Park of Dianchi Lake显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to explore the species and dynamics of moths in Wujiatang wetland park in Dianchi lake. [Method] Moths under lamps in Wujiatang wetland park were investigated and studied regularly in 2016 and 2017, and the relationship among diversity index, indi-vidual number, species richness, evenness and diversity of moth community was analyzed. [Result] A total of 138 species of months belonging to 91 genera and 13 families were collected from Wujiatang wetland park, Dianchi lake, Kunming. The dominant insects were Crambidae and Noctuidae.The relationship between species and abundance relationship of moth community conformed to the niche priority occupation model, and the diversity index was not consistent with the evenness, but consistent with the species richness.
