1Diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal spore communities and its relations to plants under increased temperature and precipitation in a natural grassland显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)form mutualisms with most plant species,and therefore,understanding how AMF communities will respond to climate change is essential for predictions of changes in plant communities.To evaluate the impact of global climate change on AMFs and plant-AMF interactions in a natural grassland in Inner Mongolia,both artificial warming and watering treatments were assigned to experimental plots.Our results indicate that(1)warming and precipitation significantly affected the relative spore abundance of abundant sporulating AMF species;(2)the relative abundance of weak sporulating AMF species and AMF diversity decreased under experimental warming;(3)evidence was found that the composition of the AMF community in a given year might be correlated with plant community composition in the following year;and(4)grasses and forbs showing different preferences to Claroideoglomus etunicatum or Ambispora gerdemannii dominated plots.Our results imply that climate change appears to induce changes in AMF assemblages with knock-on effects on grassland plant communities.AMF communities may play a much more important role than we have thought in the responses of ecosystem to global climate changes.SUN XiuFeng SU YuanYing ZHANG Ying WU MingYu ZHANG Zhe PEI KeQuan SUN LiFu WAN ShiQiang LIANG Yu 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,33:6
2A New Species of the Genus Tylototriton(Amphibia: Urodela: Salamandridae) from the Southern Dabie Mountains in Anhui Province显示文摘A new species of the genus Tylototriton is described,from Yuexi county,Anhui province,in the south of the Dabie Mountains.It is based on morphological and molecular analysis.The new species is identified as belonging to the Tylototriton asperrimus group and shares a number of similarities with T.wenxianensis,T.broadoridgus and T.dabienicus.The diagnostic characteristics of the new species are as follows: the head length is greater than the width of the head; bony ridges on the head are prominent and necked-in; the distal digit ends,ventral digits,peripheral area of the cloaca and the tail's lower edge are orange.The result from the molecular analysis of the genus Tylototriton(including the type specimen of the new species) based on three mitochondrial genes(ND1,ND2 and CYTB) indicated that the new species was close to T.wenxianensis,T.dabienicus,and T.broadoridgus,but formed an independent clade.This result was consistent with the morphological analysis above,which supports the theory that the population distributed in the south of the Dabie Mountains,namely in from Yuexi county,Anhui province,represented a distinct species,Tylototriton anhuiensis sp.nov.Lifu QIAN Xiaonan SUN Jiaqi LI Weibo GUO Tao PAN Xing KANG Hui WANG Jianping JIANG Jun WU Baowei ZHANG 2017Asian Herpetological Research2017,18,3:6
3A New Species of the Genus Rhacophorus (Anura: Rhacophoridae) from Dabie Mountains in East China显示文摘A new species of rhacophorid of the genus Rhacophorus is described from the Dabie Mountains of west Anhui,east China.The new species,Rhacophorus zhoukaiyae sp.nov.is distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following characters: 1) the ventral surface and front-and-rear of the femur is paler yellowish and decorated with irregular grayish blotching,and without obvious spots on the dorsum of the hand and foot webbing; 2) the outer metatarsal tubercle is small; 3) outer fingers are half-webbed and outer toes two third webbed; 4) the skin on the dorsum is smooth and without compressed warts; 5) the throat,chest and belly are pure paler yellowish; 6) the dorsal part of the fingers and toes are grayish-white; 7) the iris is golden-yellow.In addition,the phylogenetic tree showed that all the individuals of R.zhoukaiyae sp.nov.clustered into one distinct clade which suggested the validity of this species.This results could also be used to the support of species delimitation.Currently,this species is known only from mid-elevation montane evergreen forest in the Dabie Mountains of west Anhui,China.Tao PAN Yanan ZHANG Hui WANG Jun WU Xing KANG Lifu QIAN Kai LI Yu ZHANG Jinyun CHEN Dingqi RAO Jianping JIANG Baowei ZHANG 2017Asian Herpetological Research2017,18,1:5
4Bi-prism-based single-lens three dimensional digital image correlation system with a long working distance: Methodology and application in extreme high temperature deformation test显示文摘As a novel three dimensional digital image correlation(3 D DIC) method, the bi-prism-based single lens(BSL) 3 D DIC method has been proposed and developed in recent years. Making use of a bi-prism, this method is able to perform a 3 D DIC measurement using only a single camera. Thus, the integration level of a BSL 3 D DIC system could be much higher than that of the double-camera3 D DIC system. In this paper, using a small-angle bi-prism and a camera with a longer focal length, a special BSL 3 D DIC system with a long working distance is designed for measurements in extreme environments. The principle of the system is first studied,and practical methods are then proposed for the system set-up and the determination of system parameters. Then, feasibility of the measurement system is verified by out-of-plane rigid-body translation tests. 6Heteropolyacids-Immobilized Graphitic Carbon Nitride:Highly Efficient Photo-Oxidation of Benzyl Alcohol in the Aqueous Phase显示文摘Benzaldehyde is a highly desirable chemical due to its extensive application in medicine,chemical synthesis and food sector among others.However,its production generally involves hazardous solvents such as trifluorotoluene or acetonitrile,and its conversion,especially selectivity in the aqueous phase,is still not up to expectations.Hence,developing an environmentally benign,synthetic process for benzaldehyde production is of paramount importance.Herein,we report the preparation of a photocatalyst(PW_(12)-P-UCNS,where PW_(12)is H3PW_(12)O_(40)xH_(2)O and P-UCNS is phosphoric acid-modified unstack graphitic carbon nitride)by incorporating phosphotungstic acid on phosphoric acid-functionalised graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))nanosheets.The performance of PW_(12)-P-UCNS was tested using the benzyl alcohol photo-oxidation reaction to produce benzaldehyde in H_(2)O,at room temperature(20℃).The asprepared PW12-P-UCNS photocatalyst showed excellent photocatalytic performance with 58.3%conversion and 99.5%selectivity within 2 h.Moreover,the catalyst could be reused for at least five times without significant activity loss.Most importantly,a proposed Z-scheme mechanism of the PW_(12)-P-UCNScatalysed model reaction was revealed.We carefully investigated its transient photocurrent and electrochemical impedance,and identified superoxide radicals and photogenerated holes as the main active species through electron spin-resonance spectroscopy and scavenger experiments.Results show that the designed PW_(12)-P-UCNS photocatalyst is a highly promising candidate for benzaldehyde production through the photo-oxidation reaction in aqueous phase,under mild conditions.Lifu Wu Sai An Yu-Fei Song 2021Engineering2021,7,1:3

16Controlling the surface buckling wrinkles by patterning the material system of hard-nano-film/soft-matter-substrate显示文摘Wrinkling and buckling of nano-films on the compliant substrate are always induced due to thermal deformation mismatch.This paper proposes effective means to control the surface wrinkling of thin film on the compliant substrate,which exploits the curvatures of the curve cracks designed on the stiff film.The procedures of the method are summarized as:1)curve patterns are fabricated on the surface of PDMS(Polydimethylsiloxane)substrate and then the aluminum film with the thickness of several hundred nano-meters is deposited on the substrate;2)the curve patterns are transferred onto the aluminum film and lead to cracking of the film along the curves.The cracking redistributes the stress in the compressed film on the substrate;3)on the concave side of the curve,the wrinkling of the film surface is suppressed to be identified as shielding effect and on the convex side the wrinkling of the film surface is induced to be identified as inductive effect.The shielding and inductive effects make the dis-ordered wrinkling and buckling controllable.This phenomenon provides a potential application in the fabrication of flexible electronic devices.WU Dan YIN YaJun XIE HuiMin SHANG YuanFang LI ChuanWei WU LiFu DAI XiangLu 2014Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2014,57,4:0
17A novel biological sources consistency evaluation method reveals high level of biodiversity within wild natural medicine:A case study of Amynthas earthworms as'Guang Dilong'显示文摘For wild natural medicine,unanticipated biodiversity as species or varieties with similar morphological characteristics and sympatric distribution may co-exist in a single batch of medical materials,which affects the efficacy and safety of clinical medication.DNA barcoding as an effective species identification tool is limited by its low sample throughput nature.In this study,combining DNA minibarcode,DNA metabarcoding and species delimitation method,a novel biological sources consistency evaluation strategy was proposed,and high level of interspecific and intraspecific variations were observed and validated among 5376 Amynthas samples from 19 sampling points regarded as'Guang Dilong'and 25 batches of proprietary Chinese medicines.Besides Amynthas aspergillum as the authentic source,8 other Molecular Operational Taxonomic Units(MOTUs)were elucidated.Significantly,even the subgroups within A.aspergillum revealed here differ significantly on chemical compositions and biological activity.Fortunately,this biodiversity could be controlled when the collection was limited to designated areas,as proved by 2796'decoction pieces'samples.This batch biological identification method should be introduced as a novel concept regarding natural medicine quality control,and to offer guidelines for in-situ conservation and breeding bases construction of wild natural medicine.Zhimei Xing Han Gao Dan Wang Ye Shang Tenukeguli Tuliebieke Jibao Jiang Chunxiao Li Hong Wang Zhenguo Li Lifu Jia Yongsheng Wu Dandan Wang Wenzhi Yang Yanxu Chang Xiaoying Zhang Liuwei Xu Chao Jiang Luqi Huang Xiaoxuan Tian 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4:0
