| 2 | Russian Nuclear Rocket Engine Design for Mars Exploration显示文摘This paper is to promote investigation into the nuclear rocket engine (NRE) propulsion option that is considered as a key technology for manned Mars exploration. Russian NRE developed since the 1950s in the former Soviet Union to a full-cale prototype by the 1990s is viewed as advantageous and the most suit-able starting point concept for manned Mars mission application study. The main features of Russian het-erogeneous core NRE design are described and the most valuable experimental performance results are summarized. These results have demonstrated the significant specific impulse performance advantage of the NRE over conventional liquid rocket engine (LRE) propulsion technologies. Based on past experience, the recent developments in the field of high-temperature nuclear fuels, and the latest conceptual studies, the developed NRE concept is suggested to be upgraded to the nuclear power and propulsion system (NPPS), more suitable for future manned Mars missions. | 4 | Numerical simulation of a gas pipeline network using computational fluid dynamics simulators显示文摘This article describes numerical simulation of gas pipeline network operation using high-accuracy computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulators of the modes of gas mixture transmission through long, multi-line pipeline systems (CFD-simulator). The approach used in CFD-simulators for modeling gas mixture transmission through long, branched, multi-section pipelines is based on tailoring the full system of fluid dynamics equations to conditions of unsteady, non-isothermal processes of the gas mixture flow. Identification, in a CFD-simulator, of safe parameters for gas transmission through compressor stations amounts to finding the interior points of admissible sets described by systems of nonlinear algebraic equalities and inequalities. Such systems of equalities and inequalities comprise a formal statement of technological, design, operational and other constraints to which operation of the network equipment is subject. | 6 | The influence of freeze-thaw cycles on the granulometric composition of Moscow morainic clay显示文摘The freeze-thaw cycling process considerably changes the composition,structure,and properties of soils.Since the grain size is the most important factor in determining soil characteristics,our current research primarily aims to investigate dynamic changes of the soil fraction when exposed to freeze-thaw conditions.We observed two series of Moscow morainic clayey specimens(g QmII):(I) the original series,and(II) the remolded series.We subjected each series of soil specimens to different frequencies of freeze-thaw cycles(3,6,20,and 40 cycles),and we used granulometric tests to analyze both series before and after exposure to freeze-thaw conditions.As a result of our experiments,the granulometric compositions tended to be distributed evenly after 40 freeze-thaw processes(i.e.,content of fraction for 0.1–0.05 mm was increased after 40 freeze-thaw cycles) because the division of coarse grains and the aggregation of fine grains were synchronized during the freeze-thaw process.The soil grains in both series changed bi-directionally.In the original series,changes of the sand grains were conjugated with the clay grains,and in the remolded series,changes of the sand grains were conjugated with the silt grains,because potential energy difference caused the division and aggregation processes to relate to the counteraction process.The even distribution of soil grain size indicated the state of equilibrium or balance.The granulometric compositions were altered the most during the sixth freeze-thaw cycle,because the coefficient of the intensity variation of the grain fineness(Kvar) had its maximum value at that time. | Ze Zhang Vadim V.Pendin WenJie Feng ZhongQiong Zhang | 2015 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2015,7,3: | 7 |

| 10 | 利用WGCNA筛选马铃薯块茎发育候选基因显示文摘块茎是马铃薯的主要经济器官,解析其形成和发育机制对于马铃薯高产育种具有重要意义。虽然结薯相关基因已有报道,但仍有大量参与结薯的基因有待进一步挖掘和鉴定。随着测序技术的不断革新和发展,转录组数据愈加丰富和繁杂,利用加权共表达网络分析(weighted gene co-expression network analysis,WGCNA)筛选特定性状、组织或发育阶段相关基因的方法被广泛应用。本研究利用WGCNA分别对马铃薯DM 1-3516 R44(DM)材料以及RH89-039-16(RH)材料各15个组织器官的转录组数据进行分析,构建共表达网络,筛选与块茎发育相关的共表达模块。对筛选表达模块中的基因进行GO(Gene Ontology)和KEGG(Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes)通路富集分析。以模块中连通度前10的基因为核心基因,用PGSC数据库和NCBI数据库进行注释,并利用qRT-PCR进行验证。通过WGCNA分析,在DM和RH材料中均得到13个共表达模块,其中DM材料的Cyan模块和RH材料的Black模块与块茎显著相关。分析表明,2个模块的基因显著富集在激素代谢、淀粉和蔗糖代谢以及细胞形成等相关过程中。此外,在Cyan中注释到已被证实与块茎发育相关的基因StGA2ox1,并且在共表达分析中StGA2ox1与模块中10个核心基因均相互关联。核心基因的qRT-PCR结果与RNA-Seq的结果基本一致。本研究运用WGCNA方法鉴别了2个块茎发育相关的共表达模块,筛选出多个与块茎发育相关的候选基因,为马铃薯高产育种奠定基础。 | 荐红举 张梅花 尚丽娜 王季春 胡柏耿 Vadim Khassanov 吕典秋 | 2022 | 作物学报2022,48,7: | 5 |

| 12 | 马铃薯PIF家族成员鉴定及其对高温胁迫的响应分析显示文摘植物光敏色素作用因子(phytochrome interacting factors,PIFs)属于碱性-螺旋-环-螺旋(basic helix-loop-helix,bHLH)转录因子家族,通过将光和温度等外部环境信号与植物体内源信号途径相整合,进而形成复杂的信号转导网络来精密调控植物的生长发育进程。目前,关于马铃薯PIF家族基因的研究较少,鉴定和分析StPIF家族成员有助于进一步提高马铃薯的产量和品质。本研究运用生物信息学方法,以拟南芥PIF家族成员蛋白序列作为源序列,通过在马铃薯基因组数据库中进行BlastP分析鉴定出7个StPIFs家族成员,并对其进行系统进化、染色体分布、复制事件、蛋白理化性质、基因结构、Motif预测、启动子顺式作用元件、基因表达模式以及对高温胁迫的响应分析。结果显示,StPIF家族所有成员均含有Motif 1(bHLH结构域)、Motif 2(APB结构域)基序;在StPIF基因的启动子区域预测到多个参与光响应、激素、干旱、低温、昼夜节律以及防御和应激反应调控元件;基因表达模式和现蕾期高温胁迫响应分析表明,家族成员具有明显的组织表达特异性,基因存在功能分化,且大部分StPIF成员对生物胁迫和高温等非生物胁迫具有明显响应。以上研究结果极大丰富了我们对StPIF家族的认识,为进一步探究StPIF基因在马铃薯生长期应对生物胁迫以及在结薯期应对高温等非生物胁迫中发挥的功能奠定了理论基础。 | 荐红举 尚丽娜 金中辉 丁艺 李燕 王季春 胡柏耿 Vadim Khassanov 吕典秋 | 2022 | 作物学报2022,48,1: | 4 |

| 16 | Gold mineralisation and orogenic metamorphism in the Lena province of Siberia as assessed from Chertovo Koryto and Sukhoi Log deposits显示文摘The Chertovo Koryto gold deposit(80 t Au at 1.84 g/t) in the Lena world-class province,Siberia,is hosted in a metamorphosed sequence of the Paleoproterozoic Mikhailovsk Formation that comprises the oldest black shale strata of the Baikal-Patom region.The mineralisation is confined to the thrust zone complicated with a conjugate anticline fold,zones of shearing and dislocation.The struaural position of the mineralisation is similar to that at the giant Sukhoi Log deposit in the neighbouring Mama-Bodaibo zone.In the latter,the isotope age data suggest that Khomolkho black shales,hosts to Sukhoi Log mineralisation,are of Ediacaran age and underwent prograde metamorphism during early Paleozoic.The geochemical composition of the terrigenous rocks that host Sukhoi Log,Chertovo Koryto,and a number of other deposits at the various stratigraphic levels throughout the Proterozoic sequence have much in common.They do not show elevated metal contents above the common black shale abundances,except for Au and As,which is at variance with the accepted view on diagenetic enrichment of black shales in the Lena province.The occurrence of sagenitic rutile in quartz and chlorite pseudomorphs after biotite and other petrographic observations provide evidence on a retrograde nature of the metamorphic mineral assemblages in the Mikhailovsk rocks.The sulphides are pyrrhotite and arsenopyrite with very minor pyrite at Chertovo Koryto,whereas pyrite is the predominant sulphide in the Sukhoi Log ore.Fluid inclusion data on both deposits emphasise a high-temperature nature of the mineralisation albeit revealing great contrast in the fluid composition.Sukhoi Log mineralisation was formed at mixing between low-salinity aqueous solutions and dense gaseous carbonic fluids,which facilitated effective gold scavenging and precipitation,as demonstrated by thermodynamic simulation.The precursory devolatilisation of the Mikhailovsk sediments at the prograde stage results in the paucity of gaseous carbonic fluid during retrograde metamorphism and mineralisation.The similarity in the styles and chemical parameters of mineralisation,and the predominant structural control of ore localisation within the same Precambrian regional tectonic unit support an idea that orogenic gold mineralisation in the Lena province was produced during a single early Paleozoic event. | Marina A.Yudovskaya Vadim V.Distler Vsevolod Yu.Prokofiev Nickolay N.Akinfiev | 2016 | Geoscience Frontiers2016,7,3: | 3 |
| 17 | Risk factors and urinary biomarkers of non-albuminuric and albuminuric chronic kidney disease in patients with type 2 diabetes显示文摘BACKGROUND A number of recent studies indicate a transformation in the natural course of chronic kidney disease(CKD)in type 2 diabetes(T2D)patients:an increasing prevalence of declined renal function without proceeding to the accompanying elevation of albuminuria.It has been suggested that albuminuric and nonalbuminuric CKD patterns could be different in their phenotypes and pathogenic mechanisms.AIM To identify the risk factors and biomarkers of albuminuric and non-albuminuric patterns of CKD in patients with T2D.METHODS Three hundred sixty patients with T2D duration≥10 years were included in this observational cross-sectional study.The associations of a panel of demographic and clinical characteristics,complications,comorbidities,and metabolic and hematology parameters with albuminuric and non-albuminuric CKD patterns were analyzed.The urinary excretion of nephrin and podocin,two podocytespecific markers,and WAP-four-disulfide core domain protein 2(WFDC-2),a marker of tubulointerstitial fibrosis,was determined by ELISA in comparison with healthy controls.RESULTS Non-albuminuric CKD was associated with age≥65 years(P=0.0001),female sex(P=0.04),diabetes duration≥15 years(P=0.0009),and the use of diuretics(P=0.0005).Male sex(P=0.01),smoking(P=0.01),waist-to-hip ratio>1.0(P=0.01)and hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)>8.0%(P=0.005)were risk factors for elevated albuminuria not accompanied by a decrease in estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR).Duration of diabetes≥15 years and the use of calcium channel blockers were risk factors for albuminuria with decreased eGFR(both P=0.01).In multivariate logistic regression analysis,age,HbA1c,female sex and diuretics were significant predictors for reduced eGFR,while waist-to-hip ratio,HbA1c and male sex were associated with elevated urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio(UACR).Excretion of nephrin and podocin was increased in patients with albuminuria,regardless of decline in renal function(P<0.001),correlating positively with UACR.The urinary excretion of WFDC-2 was markedly higher in men than in women(P<0.000001).Men with T2D demonstrated increased WFDC-2 levels independently of the CKD pattern(all P<0.05).In T2D women,WFDC-2 excretion was increased in those with reduced renal function(P≤0.01),correlating negatively with eGFR.CONCLUSION The data provide further evidence that albuminuric and non-albuminuric CKD phenotypes correspond to different pathways of diabetic kidney disease progression. | Anton I Korbut Vadim V Klimontov Ilya V Vinogradov Vyacheslav V Romanov | 2019 | World Journal of Diabetes2019,10,11: | 3 |
| 18 | SPH-BEM simulation of underwater explosion and bubble dynamics near rigid wall显示文摘A process of underwater explosion of a charge near a rigid wall includes three main stages: charge detonation, bubble pulsation and jet formation. A smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) method has natural advantages in solving problems with large deformations and is suitable for simulation of processes of charge detonation and jet formation. On the other hand, a boundary element method(BEM) is highly efficient for modelling of the bubble pulsation process. In this paper, a hybrid algorithm, fully utilizing advantages of both SPH and BEM, was applied to simulate the entire process of free and near-field underwater explosions. First, a numerical model of the free-field underwater explosion was developed, and the entire explosion process–from the charge detonation to the jet formation–was analysed. Second, the obtained numerical results were compared with the original experimental data in order to verify the validity of the presented method. Third, a SPH model of underwater explosion for a column charge near a rigid wall was developed to simulate the detonation process. The results for propagation of a shock wave are in good accordance with the physical observations. After that, the SPH results were employed as initial conditions for the BEM to simulate the bubble pulsation. The obtained numerical results show that the bubble expanded at first and then shrunk due to a differences of pressure levels inside and outside it. Here, a good agreement between the numerical and experimental results for the shapes, the maximum radius and the movement of the bubble proved the effectiveness of the developed numerical model. Finally, the BEM results for a stage when an initial jet was formed were used as initial conditions for the SPH method to simulate the process of jet formation and its impact on the rigid wall. The numerical results agreed well with the experimental data, verifying the feasibility and suitability of the hybrid algorithm.
