| 8 | Relationships between childhood trauma and dissociative,psychotic symptoms in patients with schizophrenia:a case-control study显示文摘Background Childhood trauma(CT)is an important risk factor in the emergence and clinical course of psychiatric disorders.In the latest literature,an association exists between CT and patients with schizophrenia.There is also a strong relationship between the dissociative symptoms of schizophrenia and the presence of CT.Aims The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between CT and dissociative,positive and negative symptoms in patients with schizophrenia.Methods One hundred patients with schizophrenia and 100 healthy volunteers were included in the study.The Sociodemographic Data Form,Dissociative Experiences Scale(DES),Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS),and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ)were administered to all participants.Results The CTQ and DES scores of the schizophrenia group were significantly higher than those of the control group.In patients with schizophrenia,a positive association was found between positive symptoms and DES scores.In terms of negative symptoms,a positive association was found between apathetic social withdrawal and CTQ-emotional neglect(EN),CTQ-physical neglect(PN)and CTQ total scores.There was a significant positive correlation between CTQ-EN scores and negative symptoms and PANSS scores.No significant relationship was found between negative symptoms and DES scores.Conclusions High rates of CT and dissociative symptoms are seen in patients with schizophrenia.In addition,the findings of the relationship between CT and dissociative,positive and negative symptoms are also noteworthy.Therefore,it may be important for clinicians to assess trauma history during the psychiatric evaluation of patients with schizophrenia. | Tugce Taskin Uyan Mehmet Baltacioglu Cicek Hocaoglu | 2022 | General Psychiatry2022,35,1: | 1 |

| 15 | Tribological performance of iron- and nickel-base self-lubricating claddings containing metal sulfides at high temperature显示文摘Iron-based coatings with the incorporation of solid lubricants have been prepared by means of laser cladding,in an effort to control friction and decrease tool wear at high temperatures during metal forming applications.The choice of a Fe-based powder has been considered advantageous,as it can lead to decreased costs compared to nickel-based claddings previously studied by the authors,in addition to having a lower environmental impact.In particular,the incorporation of transition metal dichalcogenides such as MoS_(2) as precursors leads to the encapsulation of silver in Fe-based self-lubricating claddings,resulting in a uniform distribution of the soft metal across the thickness of the coating.Subsequent tribological evaluation of the claddings at high temperatures shows that the addition of lubricious compounds leads to lower friction at room temperature and significantly decreased wear up to 600℃ compared to the unmodified iron-based reference alloy,although higher than similar self-lubricating Ni-based claddings.In order to cast light into these observed differences,the corresponding microstructures,phase composition,and self-lubricating mechanisms have been studied and compared for Fe-and Ni-based claddings having both of them the addition of silver and MoS_(2).The results suggest a key role of the formation of protective tribolayers on the counter body during high temperature sliding contact.Additional simulation of the phase evolution during solidification reveals that the formation of different chromium-and nickel-based metal sulfides in Fe-and Ni-claddings during laser cladding by the decomposition of MoS_(2) plays a key role in determining their tribological behaviour at high temperatures. | Hector TORRES Tugce CAYKARA Jens HARDELL Janne NURMINEN Braham PRAKASH Manel RODRIGUEZ RIPOLL | 2022 | Friction2022,10,12: | 0 |
| 16 | Fast clogging problem of open check dams and a new type suggestion:curved footed type open check dam显示文摘Driftwood is one of the important physical components in mountainous rivers which causes severe hazards due to the clogging of bridges,culverts,and narrow sections during floods.Therefore,the understanding of driftwood dynamics and mitigation measures are crucial for managing wood in rivers.Open check dams are the most commonly used engineering measure for preventing driftwood from reaching downstream areas.Nevertheless,these open check dams frequently lose their sediment transport function when they are blocked by sediment and driftwood,especially during major flood events.This paper proposes a new type of open check dam for preventing from clogging.Thus,flume experiments were conducted to examine the influence of different types of open check dams on the characteristics of driftwood deposition.For the model with wood length(LWD)=16.5 cm,wood diameter(D)=15 mm,and wood number(N)=172,the highest trapping efficiency was observed with 90.1%and 87.2%retention rates for the classical debris flow breaker and curved footed open check dams,respectively.Laboratory tests showed that through this proposed design,woody debris blockage in a very short time was prevented from the accumulation of woods beside the dam.In addition to this,most of the sediment passed through the check dam and most of the driftwood got trapped.It can be briefly stated that the geometrical design of the structure plays an important role and can be chosen carefully to optimize trapping efficiency.By designing this type of open check dams in mountain river basins,it may provide a better understanding of the driftwood accumulation and basis for the optimal design of these structures.Further development of the solution proposed in this work can pave the way for designing different types of open check dams for effective flood management. | ANILAN Tugce AKCALI Emre | 2023 | Journal of Mountain Science2023,20,5: | 0 |

| 18 | Ground movement patterns and shallow foundation performance in Iskenderun coastline during the 2023 Kahramanmaras earthquake sequence显示文摘This study focuses on the field reconnaissance efforts for investigating ground deformation behavior and building foundation performance in Iskenderun.Many structures experienced significant damage or collapsed due to strong ground shaking in the coastal Iskenderun district of Hatay during the 2023 Kahramanmaras earthquake sequence.Many buildings were also impacted by ground failure due to liquefaction of deposits in the area.Preliminary information regarding the general subsurface profile and post-earthquake data collected during the reconnaissance was used to perform simplified liquefaction and lateral spreading analyses.The empirical methods provide first order estimations of settlements and lateral spreading but are not sufficient when the nature of the structure-soil-structure interaction and earthquake sequence is considered.Measurements of vertical displacements and building tilt,liquefaction manifestations,and structural and foundation parameters potentially affecting foundation settlements including foundation geometry,building contact pressure,and building elastic period were used to evaluate seismic response of the ground and the structures through empirical procedures.Most of the buildings exhibited poor to mediocre foundation performance due to liquefaction-prone subsurface profiles,especially on the coastline.Ongoing field and numerical research will reveal the cause of significant ground failure in the area as well as refined estimates for the seismic deformations. | Tugce Baser Kamran Nawaz Albert Chung Seikh Faysal Ozgun Alp Numanoglu | 2023 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2023,22,4: | 0 |

| 20 | Role of serological rapid antibody test in the management of possible COVID-19 cases显示文摘Although the detection of viral particles by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)is the gold standard diagnostic test for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),the false-negative results constitute a big challenge.AIM To examine a group of patients diagnosed and treated as possible COVID-19 pneumonia whose multiple nasopharyngeal swab samples were negative for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)by RT-PCR but then serological immunoglobulin M/immunoglobulin G(IgM/IgG)antibody against SARS-CoV-2 were detected by rapid antibody test.METHODS Eighty possible COVID-19 patients who had at least two negative consecutive COVID-19 RT-PCR test and were subjected to serological rapid antibody test were evaluated in this study.RESULTS The specific serological total IgM/IgG antibody against SARS-CoV-2 was detected in twenty-two patients.The mean age of this patient group was 63.2±13.1-yearsold with a male/female ratio of 11/11.Cough was the most common symptom(90.9%).The most common presenting chest computed tomography findings were bilateral ground glass opacities(77.2%)and alveolar consolidations(50.1%).The mean duration of time from appearance of first symptoms to hospital admission,to hospital admission,to treatment duration and to serological positivity were 8.6 d,11.2 d,7.9 d,and 24 d,respectively.Compared with reference laboratory values,serologically positive patients have shown increased levels of acute phase reactants,such as C-reactive protein,ferritin,and procalcitonin and higher inflammatory markers,such as erythrocyte sedimentation rate,lactate dehydrogenase enzyme,and fibrin end-products,such as D-dimer.A left shift on white blood cell differential was observed with increased neutrophil counts and decreased lymphocytes.CONCLUSION Our study demonstrated the feasibility of a COVID-19 diagnosis based on rapid antibody test in the cases of patients whose RT-PCR samples were negative.Detection of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 with rapid antibody test should be included in the diagnostic algorithm in patients with possible COVID-19 pneumonia. | Fatma Yıldırım Pinar Yildiz Gulhan Ozlem Ercen Diken Aylin Capraz Meltem Simsek Berna Botan Yildirim Muhammet Ridvan Taysi Sakine Yilmaz Ozturk Nurcan Demirtas Julide Ergil Adem Dirican Tugce Uzar Irem Karaman Sevket Ozkaya | 2021 | World Journal of Experimental Medicine2021,11,4: | 0 |
