1Solubility of RE_2O_3(RE=La and Nd) in light rare earth fluoride molten salts显示文摘The chemical reaction and dissolution processes of RE_2 O_3 in REF_3-LiF(RE = La and Nd) molten salts were studied by X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis and chemical analysis. Firstly, RE_2 O_3 disperses in molten salts and reacts with REF_3 and LiF, which lead to the generation of a new phase REOF, resulting in the dissociation or formation of complex ions by part of REOF, and the sedimentation of excessive REOF at the bottom. The RE contents in molten salts were used to determine the solubility of RE_2 O_3. The results show that with 20 mol%-40 mol% of REF_3, the solubility ranges from 1.79 to 3.05 g RE_2 O_3 per100 g electrolyte and the corresponding mole concentration is 0.33%-0.87%. RE_2 O_3 solubility increases with increasing temperature and REF_3 concentration. The natural logarithm of the RE_2 O_3 solubility is plotted against 1/T and can be interpreted by linear relationship. 9Electrical conductivity of REF3-LiF(RE=La and Nd) molten salts显示文摘The electrical conductivity of REF3-LiF(RE=La and Nd) molten salts(xREF3=5 mol%-40 mol%) was systematically measured over the temperature range from 1223 to 1423 K by using continuously varying cell constant(CVCC) method.Electrical conductivity values of LaF3-LiF and NdF3-LiF molten salts within the studied ranges are 4.11-9.39 and 3.62-9.51 S/cm,respectively.The composition and temperature dependences of electrical conductivity and the factor of RE2 O3 on electrical conductivity were investigated.The electrical conductivity nonlinearly decreases with the increasing mole percent of REF3 for the changing of structural ion in molten salts.A good linear relationship between the natural logarithm of electrical conductivity(lnκ) and the reciprocal of the absolute temperature(T-1) can be interpreted by the trend that electrical conductivity linearly increases with increasing temperature.Although it is an important factor of RE2 O3 on electrical conductivity,the influence of RE2 O3 on conductivity is small for the very limited solubility of RE2 O3 in REF3-LiF molten salts.The results of this work supplement the present electrical conductivity data of rare earth fluoride electrolyte.Xiaoping Zhu Shuchen Sun Ting Sun Chuan Liu Ganfeng Tu Jiayue Zhang 2020Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,6:1

16Comparative analysis of plastomes in Oxalidaceae:Phylogenetic relationships and potential molecular markers显示文摘The wood sorrel family,Oxalidaceae,is mainly composed of annual or perennial herbs,a few shrubs,and trees distributed from temperate to tropical zones.Members of Oxalidaceae are of high medicinal,ornamental,and economic value.Despite the rich diversity and value of Oxalidaceae,few molecular markers or plastomes are available for phylogenetic analysis of the family.Here,we reported four new whole plastomes of Oxalidaceae and compared them with plastomes of three species in the family,as well as the plastome of Rourea microphylla in the closely related family Connaraceae.The eight plastomes ranged in length from 150,673 bp(Biophytum sensitivum)to 156,609 bp(R.microphylla).Genome annotations revealed a total of 129e131 genes,including 83e84 protein-coding genes,eight rRNA genes,37 tRNA genes,and two to three pseudogenes.Comparative analyses showed that the plastomes of these species have minor variations at the gene level.The smaller plastomes of herbs B.sensitivum and three Oxalis species are associated with variations in IR region sizes,intergenic region variation,and gene or intron loss.We identified sequences with high variation that may serve as molecular markers in taxonomic studies of Oxalidaceae.The phylogenetic trees of selected superrosid representatives based on 76 protein-coding genes corroborated the Oxalidaceae position in Oxalidales and supported it as a sister to Connaraceae.Our research also supported the monophyly of the COM(Celastrales,Oxalidales,and Malpighiales)clade.Xiaoping Li Yamei Zhao Xiongde Tu Chengru Li Yating Zhu Hui Zhong Zhong-Jian Liu Shasha Wu Junwen Zhai 2021Plant Diversity2021,43,4:0
17Host Genetic Background Impacts Microbiome Composition in Newborn Alligator显示文摘Genetic factors play a key role in determination of the structure of the cloacal flora for newborn Chinese Alligators.We collected the cloacal microbiomes for 24 newborn Chinese Alligators from three different genetic backgrounds for 16S gene amplicon sequencing.The number of cloacal flora for the Chinese Alligators from different groups was comparable but differed structurally.There were variations in proportions of floral compositions at the phylum and family levels;however,the main difference was at the genus level.There were two significant differences in richness and evenness among the three groups.Non-metric multidimensional scaling NMDS analysis revealed that the 24 samples could be clearly divided into three categories based on their genetic backgrounds(stress=0.0244).Thus,we postulated that newborn Chinese Alligators with different genetic backgrounds have different immune strengths,which affects individual responses to environmental microorganisms.In summary,newborn Chinese Alligators from different genetic backgrounds exhibit variations in cloacal microbiome.Huabin ZHANG Wengang LI Genjun TU Ke SUN Liuyang YANG Ziyi WANG Zirui WU Yongkang ZHOU Song ZHANG Hao SUN Changshun SHENG Xiaoping WANG Rongjun ZHANG Xiaobing WU Tao PAN 2023Asian Herpetological Research2023,14,3:0
