It can be induced by a variety of events such as hypoxia, nutrient-starvation, and mechanical damage. Many neurological disorders such Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, cerebral ischemia, and acute spinal cord injury (ASCI), are closely related to autophagy. 3The development of blood-retinal barrier during the interaction of astrocytes with vascular wall cells显示文摘Astrocytes are intimately involved in the formation and development of retinal vessels.Astrocyte dysfunction is a major cause of blood-retinal barrier injury and other retinal vascular diseases.In this study,the development of the retinal vascular system and the formation of the blood-retinal barrier in mice were investigated using immunofluorescence staining,gelatin-ink perfusion,and transmission electron microscopy.The results showed that the retinal vascular system of mice develops from the optic disc after birth,and radiates out gradually to cover the entire retina,taking the papilla optica as the center.First,the superficial vasculature is formed on the inner retinal layer; then,the vasculature extends into the inner and outer edges of the retinal inner nuclear layer,forming the deep vasculature that is parallel to the superficial vasculature.The blood-retinal barrier is mainly composed of endothelium,basal lamina and the end-feet of astrocytes,which become mature during mouse development.Initially,the naive endothelial cells were immature with few organelles and many microvilli.The basal lamina was uniform in thickness,and the glial end-feet surrounded the outer basal lamina incompletely.In the end,the blood-retinal barrier matures with smooth endothelia connected through tight junctions,relatively thin and even basal lamina,and relatively thin glial cell end-feet.These findings indicate that the development of the vasculature in the retina follows the rules of 'center to periphery' and 'superficial layer to deep layers'.Its development and maturation are spatially and temporally consistent with the functional performance of retinal neurons and photosensitivity.The blood-retinal barrier gradually becomes mature via the process of interactions between astrocytes and blood vessel cells.Huanling Yao Tianshi Wang Jiexin Deng Ding Liu Xiaofei Li Jinbo Deng 2014Neural Regeneration Research2014,9,10:6

6Correlation of gut microbiota and neurotransmitters in a rat model of post-traumatic stress disorder显示文摘Objective:To determine the effect of gut microbiota on a rat model of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)and explore the correlation of gut microbiota with behavior and neurotransmitters.Methods:We established a single prolonged stress(SPS)model to examine the pathogenesis of PTSD on rat behavior,gut microbiota,and neurotransmitter levels.Rats were separated into control and model groups,and neurotransmitter levels were measured using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.Then,16 S rRNA sequencing was used to compare the gut microbiota between the control and model groups.Results:Compared with those in the control group,freezing time significantly increased,while number of standing upright,crossing frequency,time spent in the central arena,and total distance traveled were significantly reduced in the model group after exposure to SPS(all P<.05).Meanwhile,serotonin,or 5-hydroxytryptamine,levels in the brain in the model group were significantly lower than those the control group(P紏.0332).In addition,changes were observed in the gut microbiota diversity and relative abundances of bacterial phyla,orders,families,and genera in the model group.Especially,changes in Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,Cyanobacteria,and Proteobacteria levels were most pronounced after SPS exposure.Correlation analysis showed that the strongest positive correlation was found between Bacteroidaceae and 5-HT(P?.0009).Moreover,RF32 abundance was the most negatively related to 5-HT(P?.0009),crossing frequency(P?.0007),and total distance(P?.0003).Conclusion:Our results suggest that SPS model rats showed differences in behavior,neurotransmitter levels,and gut microbiota with control rats.Moreover,Firmicutes,Bacteroidetes,Cyanobacteria,and Proteobacteria were most relevant to the exhibited fear-like and anxiety-like behaviors and significant serotonin content reduction in SPS model rats.Qin Zhou Tianshi Sun Fengzhi Wu Feng Li Yan Liu Weihong Li Ning Dai Libo Tan Tenghui Li Yuehan Song 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,4:1

9OTFSmodulation performance in a satellite-to-ground channel at sub-6-GHz and millimeter-wave bands with high mobility显示文摘Orthogonal time frequency space(OTFS)modulation has been widely considered for high-mobility scenarios.Satellite-to-ground communications have recently received much attention as a typical high-mobility scenario and face great challenges due to the high Doppler shift.To enable reliable communications and high spectral efficiency in satellite mobile communications,we evaluate OTFS modulation performance for geostationary Earth orbit and low Earth orbit satellite-to-ground channels at sub-6-GHz and millimeter-wave bands in both lineof-sight and non-line-of-sight cases.The minimum mean squared error with successive detection(MMSE-SD)is used to improve the bit error rate performance.The adaptability of OTFS and the signal detection technologies in satellite-to-ground channels are analyzed.Simulation results confirm the feasibility of applying OTFS modulation to satellite-to-ground communications with high mobility.Because full diversity in the delay-Doppler domain can be explored,different terminal movement velocities do not have a significant impact on the performance of OTFS modulation,and OTFS modulation can achieve better performance compared with classical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing in satellite-to-ground channels.It is found that MMSE-SD can improve the performance of OTFS modulation compared with an MMSE equalizer.Tianshi LI Ruisi HE Bo AI Mi YANG Zhangdui ZHONG Haoxiang ZHANG 2021Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2021,22,4:1
10A family of oligo(p-phenylenevinylene)derivative aggregation-induced emission probes:Ultrasensitive,rapid,and anti-interfering fluorescent sensing of perchlorate via precise alkyl chain length modulation显示文摘The precise regulation of interactions provided by aggregation-induced emission(AIE)probes is of considerable significance for improving the sensing performance in the field of on-site detection.Here,a highly sensitive perchlorate detection probe was designed by precisely modulating the van der Waals interactions by adjusting the length of the alkyl chain.The optimized AIE probe demonstrated superior perchlorate detection performance owing to its strong van der Waals interactions with perchlorate,including a low detection limit(53.81 nM),rapid response(<5 s),and excellent specificity even in the presence of 16 interfering anions.In addition,a hydrogel-based device loaded with the probe was constructed to achieve ultrasensitive recognition of perchlorate particles with a detection limit as low as 15 fg under a fluorescence microscope.Moreover,the practicality of the probe was further verified by employing a sensing chip in a portable detector,and thus the probe has been proven to be highly promising for trace perchlorate monitoring in real scenarios.We expect the present study to be of great value for the efficient design of high-performance fluorescent probes.Fangfang Xiao Yushu Li Jiguang Li Da Lei Guangfa Wang Tianshi Zhang Xiaoyun Hu Xincun Dou 2023Aggregate2023,4,2:0

13Three-in-one fire-retardant poly(phosphate)-based fast ion-conductor for all-solid-state lithium batteries显示文摘The development of flame retardant or nonflammable electrolytes is the key to improve the safety of lithium batteries,owing to inflammable organic solvents and polymer matrix in common liquid and polymer electrolytes regarded as the main cause of battery fire.Herein,a series of solid-state polyphosphate oligomers(SPPO)as a three-in-one electrolyte that integrated the roles of lithium salt,dissociation matrix,and flame retardant were synthesized.The well-designed SPPO electrolytes showed an optimal ionic conductivity of 5.5×10^(-4)S cm-1at 30℃,an acceptable electrochemical window up to 4.0 V vs.Li/Li+,and lithium ion transference number of 0.547.Stable Li-ion stripping/plating behavior for 500 h of charge-discharge cycles without internal short-circuit in a Li|SPPO|Li cell was confirmed,together with outstanding interface compatibility between the SPPO electrolyte and lithium foil.The optimal Li|SPPO|LiFePO4cell presented good reversible discharge capacity of 149.4 mA h g-1at 0.1 C and Coulombic efficiency of 96.4%after 120 cycles.More importantly,the prepared SPPO cannot be ignited by the lighter fire and show a limited-oxygen-index value as high as 35.5%,indicating splendid nonflammable nature.The SPPO could be a promising candidate as a three-in-one solid-state electrolyte for the improved safety of rechargeable lithium batteries.Jiaying Xie Sibo Qiao Yuyang Wang Jiefei Sui Lixia Bao He Zhou Tianshi Li Jiliang Wang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,5:0
14Organic fast ion-conductor with ordered Li-ion conductive nano-pathways and high ionic conductivity for electrochemical energy storage显示文摘Solid electrolyte(SE)is the most crucial factor to fabricate safe and high-performance all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries.However,the most commonly reported SE,including solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)and inorganic oxides and sulfides,suffer problems of low ionic conductivity at room temperature for SPE and large interfacial impedance with electrodes for inorganic electrolytes.Here we for the first time demonstrate a novel ionic plastic crystal lithium salt solid electrolyte(OLiSSE)fast ion-conductor dilithium(1,3-diethyl-4,5-dicarboxylate)imidazole bromide with ordered Li-ion conductive nanopathways and an exceptional ionic conductivity of 4.4×10^(−3)Scm^(−1)at 30℃.The prepared OLiSSE exhibits apparent characters of typical ionic plastic crystals in the temperature range of−20 to 70℃,and shows remarkable thermal stability and electrochemical stability below 150℃ and 4.7 V,respectively.No lithium dendrite or short circuit behavior is detected for the Li|OLiSSE|Li cell after the galvanostatic charge-discharge test for 500 h.The fabricated Li|OLiSSE|LiFePO_(4) all-solid-state cell without using any separator and liquid plasticizer directly delivers an initial discharge capacity of 151.4 mAh g^(−1) at the discharge rate of 0.1 C,and shows excellent charge-discharge cycle stability,implying large potential application in the next generation of safe and flexible all-solid-state lithium batteries.Yibin Yang He Zhou Jiaying Xie Lixia Bao Tianshi Li Jingxin Lei Jiliang Wang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3:0
