| 1 | Influence of Internal Channel Geometry of Gas Turbine Blade on Flow Structure and Heat Transfer显示文摘This paper presents the study of the influence of channel geometry on the flow structure and heat transfer, and also their correlations on all the walls of a radial cooling passage model of a gas turbine blade. The investigations focus on the heat transfer and aerodynamic measurements in the channel, which is an accurate representation of the configuration used in aeroengines. Correlations for the heat transfer coefficient and the pressure drop used in the design of internal cooling passages are often developed from simplified models. It is important to note that real engine passages do not have perfect rectangular cross sections, but include a corner fillets, ribs with fillet radii and a special orientation. | 6 | Flow Control Effect on Unsteadiness of Shock Wave Induced Separation显示文摘In usual cases of significant pressure gradients and strong shocks, the front shock takes a fixed location along the wall, at which separation starts. Usually the rear shock is responding to vortex sheding by its deflection angle. In consequence main shock and rear shocks are moving whilst front shock is stable. The goal of the measurements presented here is to find out how the-foot behaves during shock oscillations in the case when front shock is not fixed by the pressure gradient.Unsteady shock behaviour is also investigated when air jet vortex generators(AJVG) are used. | 16 | Measurements of Water-Air Flow Phenomena in a Chamber with a Rotating Shaft显示文摘The paper concerns the phenomena of the fluid film that occurs in the bearing chamber of an aircraft engine.The geometry of the system includes two concentric cylinders,between which there is a mixture of oil and air.The fluid circulates in a closed circuit.The rotary movement of the inner cylinder causes creation of the fluid film on the walls of the chamber.The article proposes a measurement method that is allowing observation of this fluid film and,in particular,analysis of the movement of the air bubbles occurring in the film.An own model of the bearing chamber with transparent walls was constructed for the research.For the investigation,water was used instead of oil.Observation of the behaviour of the flow was possible thanks to video recordings made with the use of a fast-capture camera.The results presented in the paper include velocity magnitudes of the air bubbles in the fluid film in dependence on the rotational speed of the shaft and water volume fraction and with a range from 0.37 to 0.91 m/s.The results presented in this article can be used for the bearing chamber numerical models validation. | TIUTIURSKI Paweł HERCEL Paulina TELEGA Janusz KARDAŚDariusz | 2021 | Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,1: | 0 |
| 17 | Resolution of Crohn's disease and complex regional pain syndrome following treatment of paratuberculosis显示文摘A cohort of family members with various chronic diseases including Crohn's disease, asthma, complex regional pain syndrome, hypothyroidism, type 1 diabetes mellitus, and lymphangiomatosis and/or evidence of infection by Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis(MAP) are described in this series of case reports. MAP was cultured from the blood of three members affected by the first five diseases and there was accompanying elevated anti-MAP Ig G in two members. The patient affected by the sixth disease has a markedly elevated anti-MAP titer. The two patients affected by the first four diseases have been treated with a combination of anti-MAP antibiotics and ultraviolet blood irradiation therapy with resolution of the disease symptomatology and inability to culture MAP in post treatment blood samples.
