| 1 | Evaluation of a granulated formula for the nerve root type and vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis:a multicenter,single-blind,randomized,controlled,phase Ⅲ clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of cervical spondylosis formula granules in reducing the symptoms of patients with the nerve root type and the vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis.METHODS:This was a multicenter, single-blind,randomized, controlled trial.From April 2002 to November 2003, 499 patients were randomly assigned to either the treatment or the control group.The treatment group was orally administered granules prepared with a formula for cervical spondylosis, while the control group was given Jingfukang granules.The treatment course was 1 month for both groups.RESULTS:In patients with the nerve root type of cervical spondylosis, the total effect rate in the treatment group(87.21%) was significantly higher than that in the control group(80.70%, P < 0.01).After the treatment period in both groups, the treatment group had a significantly greater rate of resolution of pain, numbness of the upper limbs, muscle strength of the upper limbs, and fatigue than the control group(all P < 0.05).In patients with the vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis, the total effect rate in the treatment group(82.07%) was similar to that in the control group(71.21%, P >0.05).After the treatment period in both groups,the treatment group had a significantly greater rate of resolution of weakness of the waist and knees than the control group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:The cervical spondylosis formula granules significantly improve numbness, muscle strength, and fatigue, and reduce pain in patients with the nerve root type of cervical spondylosis,and improve the weakness of the waist and knees in patients with the vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis. | Luo Xiaodong Wang Peng Li Zhe Liang De Huang Feng Liu Jinwen Chen Xinyu Hu Guoheng Fang Suting Zhang Huajian | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2: | 28 |

| 4 | Kinetic Limits of Graphite Anode for Fast‑Charging Lithium‑Ion Batteries显示文摘Fast-charging lithium-ion batteries are highly required,especially in reducing the mileage anxiety of the widespread electric vehicles.One of the biggest bottlenecks lies in the sluggish kinetics of the Li^(+)intercalation into the graphite anode;slow intercalation will lead to lithium metal plating,severe side reactions,and safety concerns.The premise to solve these problems is to fully understand the reaction pathways and rate-determining steps of graphite during fast Li^(+)intercalation.Herein,we compare the Li^(+)diffusion through the graphite particle,interface,and electrode,uncover the structure of the lithiated graphite at high current densities,and correlate them with the reaction kinetics and electrochemical performances.It is found that the rate-determining steps are highly dependent on the particle size,interphase property,and electrode configuration.Insufficient Li^(+)diffusion leads to high polarization,incomplete intercalation,and the coexistence of several staging structures.Interfacial Li^(+)diffusion and electrode transportation are the main rate-determining steps if the particle size is less than 10μm.The former is highly dependent on the electrolyte chemistry and can be enhanced by constructing a fluorinated interphase.Our findings enrich the understanding of the graphite structural evolution during rapid Li^(+)intercalation,decipher the bottleneck for the sluggish reaction kinetics,and provide strategic guidelines to boost the fast-charging performance of graphite anode. | Suting Weng Gaojing Yang Simeng Zhang Xiaozhi Liu Xiao Zhang Zepeng Liu Mengyan Cao Mehmet Nurullah Ateş Yejing Li Liquan Chen Zhaoxiang Wang Xuefeng Wang | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11: | 1 |
| 5 | Deciphering the Role of Fluoroethylene Carbonate towards Highly Reversible Sodium Metal Anodes显示文摘Sodium metal anodes(SMAs)sufer from extremely low reversibility(<20%)in carbonate based clectrolytes-this piece of knowledge gained from previous studics has ruled out the application of carbonate solvents for sodium metal batteries.Here,we overturn this conclusion by incorporating fluoroethylene carbonate(FEC)as cosolvent that renders a Na plating/stripping fficiency of>95%with conventional NaPF。salt at a regular concentration(1.0M).The peculiar role of FEC is firstly.unraveled via its involvement into the solvation structure,where a threshold FEC concentration with a coordination number>1.2 is needed in guaranteeing high Na reversibility over the long-term.Specifially,by incorporating an average number of 1.2 FEC molecules into the primary Na*solvation sheath,lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)levels of such Nat-FEC solvates undergo further decrease,with spin electrons residing either on the O=C 0(O)moiety of FEC or sharing between Na*and its C=:O bond,which ensures a prior FEC decomposition in passivating the Na surface against other carbonate molecules.Further,by adopting cryogenic tranmission electron microscopy(cryo-TEM),we found that the Na filaments grow into substantially larger diameter from-400nm to>1 pum with addition of FEC upon the threshold value.A.highly crstalline and much thiner(-40 nm)slid-electrolyte interphase(SED)is consequently observed to uniformly wrap the Na surface,in contrast to the severely corroded Na as retrieved from the blank electrolyte.The potence of FEC is further demonstrated in a series of'corrosive solvents'such as ethy!l acetate(EA)。trimethyl phosphate(TMP),and actonitrile(AN)enabling highly reversible SMAs in the otherwise unusable solvent systems. | Xueying Zheng Suting Weng Wei Luo Bo Chen Xiao Zhang Zhenyi Gu Haotian Wang Xiaolu Ye Xuyang Liu Liqiang Huang Xinglong Wu Xuefeng Wang Yunhui Huang | 2022 | Research2022,,2: | 1 |

| 8 | MSF-Net: A Multilevel Spatiotemporal Feature Fusion Network Combines Attention for Action Recognition显示文摘An action recognition network that combines multi-level spatiotemporal feature fusion with an attention mechanism is proposed as a solution to the issues of single spatiotemporal feature scale extraction,information redundancy,and insufficient extraction of frequency domain information in channels in 3D convolutional neural networks.Firstly,based on 3D CNN,this paper designs a new multilevel spatiotemporal feature fusion(MSF)structure,which is embedded in the network model,mainly through multilevel spatiotemporal feature separation,splicing and fusion,to achieve the fusion of spatial perceptual fields and short-medium-long time series information at different scales with reduced network parameters;In the second step,a multi-frequency channel and spatiotemporal attention module(FSAM)is introduced to assign different frequency features and spatiotemporal features in the channels are assigned corresponding weights to reduce the information redundancy of the feature maps.Finally,we embed the proposed method into the R3D model,which replaced the 2D convolutional filters in the 2D Resnet with 3D convolutional filters and conduct extensive experimental validation on the small and medium-sized dataset UCF101 and the largesized dataset Kinetics-400.The findings revealed that our model increased the recognition accuracy on both datasets.Results on the UCF101 dataset,in particular,demonstrate that our model outperforms R3D in terms of a maximum recognition accuracy improvement of 7.2%while using 34.2%fewer parameters.The MSF and FSAM are migrated to another traditional 3D action recognition model named C3D for application testing.The test results based on UCF101 show that the recognition accuracy is improved by 8.9%,proving the strong generalization ability and universality of the method in this paper. | Mengmeng Yan Chuang Zhang Jinqi Chu Haichao Zhang Tao Ge Suting Chen | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,11: | 0 |

| 10 | Evaluation of Lo"wenstein-Jensen Medium Culture,MGIT 960 Culture and Different Specimen Types inDiagnosis of Bone and Joint Tuberculosis显示文摘Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate L-J (Lo"wenstein-Jensen) medium culture, MGIT 960 culture anddifferent specimen types in diagnosis of BJTB (bone and joint tuberculosis). Methods:: Specimens of pus, caseous necrosis,tuberculous granuloma and sequestrum were collected from 52 BJTB patients. All specimens were cultured using both MGIT 960system and L-J medium; and all pus were amplified using real-time PCR to detect the presence of M. tuberculosis DNA. KeyFindings: A total of 191 specimens were collected. Granuloma had better chance to produce positive outcomes by L-J mediumculture, while for sequestrum MGIT 960 culture had higher yield, but there was no significant difference in the recovery rates amongdifferent types of specimen either by L-J culture (Z2 = 0.638, P = 0.888) or by MGIT960 culture (Z2 = 1.399, P = 0.706). MGIT960culture had significantly higher recovery rate than L-J culture, With a combined culture and PCR-based test, the recovery rate of pusspecimen was significantly higher than that of either method alone (P 〈 0.05).
