| 1 | Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. | 3 | The remedial effect of soluble interleukin-1 receptor type Ⅱ on endometriosis in the nude mouse model显示文摘Objective:Recent studies have shown that the local expression of soluble interleukin(IL)-1 receptor typeⅡ (sIL-1 RⅡ)in endometrial tissue of women with endometriosis is decreased,and the depression of IL-1 RⅡwas more significant in infertile women than that in fertile women with endometriosis.In this research,we investigated the remedial effect of sIL-1-RⅡadministration on endometriosis in the nude mouse model.Methods: Nineteen nude model mice with endometriosis were randomly divided into three groups:group A was treated by intraperitoneal administration with only sIL-1 RⅡfor two weeks,group B was similarly treated with only IL- 1,and group C(control)was administered saline.After 2 weeks,the size of the ectopic endometrial lesions was calculated,and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and B-cell lymphoma leukemia-2(Bcl- 2)were detected by immunohistochemistry.The IL-8 and VEGF levels in the peritoneal fluid(PF)and serum were also measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results:The mean size of ectopic endometrial lesion did not differ between the three groups(P>0.05).Compared with the control,the expression of VEGF and Bcl-2 was significantly lower in group A,and higher in group B.In the three groups,the levels of IL-8 in the PF and serum were highest in group A,and lowest in group B.Conclusion:sIL-1 RⅡmay suppresse hyperplasia of ectopic endometriosis,perhaps by reducing the expression of certain cytokines,such as VEGF,IL-8,and Bcl-2, which could provide a new clinical strategy for the treatment of endometriosis. | Liying Gao Liang Sun Yugui Cui Zhen Hou Li Gao Jing Zhou Yundong Mao Suping Han Jiayin Liu | 2010 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2010,24,1: | 1 |

| 5 | Characteristics of Self-Healing Microcapsules for Cementitious Composites显示文摘Urea formaldehyde/epoxy resin microcapsules were prepared by an in situ polymerization method and the effect of emulsifier on the syntheses process of the microcapsules was discussed. The surface morphology of the microcapsules was observed by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Chemical structure was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR). Thermal stability was obtained using simultaneous thermal analysis(STA). The microcapsules were composed of urea-formaldehyde resin shell and epoxy resin core. Emulsifier played an important role in the polymerization process when the core material was packed by pre-polymer, so the effects of different emulsifiers(OP-10, SDS and SDBS) were discussed respectively. Results showed that the particle size of the microcapsules was uniform when SDBS as an emulsifier. Microcapsules showed good thermal stability below 240 ℃ and the initial decomposition temperature of the microcapsules was 265 ℃. The core materials released after microcapsules rupturing, which could be proven by the images of SEM. | 7 | Relation of Damage Variable and Gas Permeability Coefficient of Concrete under Stress显示文摘Compressive stress and tensile stress were applied to concrete specimens using test rigs designed by RILEM TC 246-TDC. Ultrasonic wave velocity and autoclam permeability system were used to characterize the damage variable and gas permeability coefficient of concrete, respectively. The experimental results show that the strain value of concrete increases with the increasing of stress level and loading time. The damage variable and gas permeability coefficient of concrete under compressive stress decrease at first and increase after a threshold value between 0 and 0.6. When the concrete is under tensile load, the damage variable and gas permeability coefficient increase with tensile stress, with a significant increase from 0.3 to 0.6 tensile stress. | 8 | Influence of Characteristics of Alumina-silicate Raw Materials on the Formation Process of Clinker显示文摘The traditional alumina-silicate raw materials, for example, clays, in the precalcining technique of cement production, have been replaced by low grade and high silica content sandstones, shales, and industrial waste residues, including fl y ashes, slag, and others. The results are the change of compositions and characteristics of raw materials applied and a great effect on cement calcination process and clinker formation. In this work, the cement clinker formation process of different alumina-silicate raw materials to replace clay raw material was studied by chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, and high temperature microscope based on the characteristics of the alumina-silicate raw materials. The formation heat of the clinker was determined by the acid dissolution method. Infl uence of different alumina-silicate raw materials on the clinker burnability and formation process was studied. The results show that the changing of aluminasilicate raw materials, especially using industrial waste residues, can reduce the formation temperature of high temperature liquid phases, improve the burnability of raw materials, reduce the formation temperature and formation heat of clinker. | 9 | Coalbed methane desorption characteristics controlled by coalification and its implication on gas co-production from multiple coal seams显示文摘In this work,CH4 isothermal adsorption measurements were carried out on 64 coal samples collected from western Guizhou Province of China,and the coalbed methane(CBM)desorption processes were quantitatively analyzed.The results show that the Langmuir volume and the Langmuir pressure are controlled by coalification,and tend to increase as the vitrinite reflectance changes from 0.98% to 4.3%.Based on a division method of CBM desorption stages,the CBM desorption process were divided into four stages(inefficient,slow,fast and sensitive desorption stages)by three key pressure nodes(the initial,turning and sensitive pressures).The fast and sensitive desorption stages with high desorption efficiency are the key for achieving high gas production.A theoretical chart of the critical desorption pressure(P_(cd))and its relationship with different pressure nodes was established.The higher-rank coals have the higher initial,turning and sensitive pressures,with larger difference between pressure nodes.Most CBM wells only undergo partial desorption stages due to the differences in P_(cd) caused by the present-gas content.Under the same gas content conditions,the higher the coal rank,the less desorption stages that CBM needs to go through.During coalbed methane co-production from multiple coal seams within vertically superposed pressure systems,the reservoir pressure,the P_(cd),the initial working liquid level(WLL)height,and coal depth are key factors for evaluating whether coal seams can produce CBM simultaneously.It must be ensured that each production layer enters at least the fast desorption stage prior to that the WLL was lower than the depth of each layer.Only on this basis can all layers achieve the maximum gas production. | Bin ZHANG Yafei ZHANG Suping ZHAO Wei HE Shu TAO Zhejun PAN Yi CUI | 2023 | Frontiers of Earth Science2023,17,1: | 0 |
