1Advances on strategies for searching for next generation thermal barrier coating materials显示文摘Thermal barrier coating(TBC) materials play important roles in gas turbine engines to protect the Nibased super-alloys from the high temperature airflow damage. High melting point, ultra-low thermal conductivity, large thermal expansion coefficient, excellent damage tolerance and moderate mechanical properties are the main requirements of promising TBC materials. In order to improve the efficiency of jet and/or gas turbine engines, which is the key of improved thrust-to-weight ratios and the energysaving, significant efforts have been made on searching for enhanced TBC materials. Theoretically, density functional theory has been successfully used in scanning the structure and properties of materials, and at the same time predicting the mechanical and thermal properties of promising TBC materials for high and ultrahigh temperature applications, which are validated by subsequent experiments. Experimentally,doping and/or alloying are also widely applied to further decrease their thermal conductivities. Now, the strategy through combining theoretical calculations and experiments on searching for next generation thermal insulator materials is widely adopted. 2New composite grouting materials:Modified urea-formaldehyde resin with cement显示文摘A new composite two component grout comprised of modified urea-formaldehyde resin and cement was formulated to take account of the advantages and disadvantages of both the cement grout and the chemical grout.The new grout is designed for water blocking by reinforcing as well as seepage control by bore grouting.The A component consists of a modified urea-formaldehyde resin A component,some cement,and some water.The B component is an alkaline coagulant.An orthogonal test of four factors at three levels showed that gel time increased with increased water content and with urea-formaldehyde resin content.Gel time decreased at increased levels of alkaline coagulant.The A component of this new composite grout is stable over time.A mixed cross-over test showed that as the volume ratio of A to B increases the gel time falls at first but then increases.The solid strength decreases with increasing levels of the B component.The solid strength increases over time and becomes stable by the 28th day after mixing.The viscosity increases with increasing levels of resin A component.The increase is exponential and may be fit to:l = 8.162e0.0286x.Duan Hongfei Jiang Zhenquan Zhu Shuyun Yao Pu Sun Qiang 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2:22
3SHRIMP zircon U-Pb ages and tectonic implications for Indosinian granitoids of southern Zhuguangshan granitic composite, South China显示文摘The large southern Zhuguangshan granitic batholith composite consists of granites with ages varying from the Caledonian through Indosinian to Yanshanian. Based on K-Ar dating data, the ages of the major parts of this composite were previously regarded as Yanshanian. In this study, the SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating method has been adopted for six plutons, Ledong, Longhuashan, Dawozi, Zhaidi, Baiyun and Jiangnan, in the southern Zhuguangshan composite, in which the four plutons other than Baiyun and Jiangnan were previously regarded as Yanshanian granites. Magmatic zircons from these six plutons, dated by this study, have yielded ages of 239±5 Ma (MSWD = 2.5), 239±5 Ma (MSWD = 2.5), 239±2 Ma (MSWD = 1.7), 239±4 Ma (MSWD = 3.2), 231±2 Ma (MSWD = 0.81) and 231±3 Ma (MSWD = 1.8), respectively. The results indicate that these plutons were formed by early Indosinian magmatism. Geochemical characteristics suggest that these granites were formed in an extensional tectonic environment. 4A Study of Sr, Nd and O Isotopes of the K-rich Melanocratic Dykes in the Late Mesozoic Gold Field in the Jiaodong Peninsula显示文摘Geologic, petrographic and petrochemical studies of the lateMesozoic K-rich melanocratic dykes, including lamprophyres, andesite porphyrites and dacite-porphyry in the gold field system in the Jiaodong Peninsula, China, have shown that these dykes are characterized by rich potassium and alkali but poor titanium. They belong to an ultra-high potassic, shoshonitic and high potassic calc-alkaline rock series. The parental magma has relatively high initial strontium ratios ((87Sr/86Sr)i-0.70895-0.71140) and low (143Nd/144Nd)i ratios (varying from 0.51135 to 0.51231); and its δ18OsMow. whole rock values vary from +5.8‰ to +10.6‰ with a mean of +7.1‰. These features suggest that the source region of the magma is an enriched mantle wedge transformed from a continental lithosphere mantle which has experienced me tasomatism by mantle-derived fluids with H2O-dominated fluids that were provided during the underthrusting of an ocean crust. The initial magma was generated by low-degree partial melting of the enriched mantle in its mature stage in the back-arc spreading environment. The evolution of magmas is associated with two trends, i.e., fractional crystallization and mixing with or intensive contamination by palaeo-crust materials or metamorphic rocks. The former process is evident in the gold field system of quartz-vein type, whereas the latter is dominated in the gold field system of the altered-rock type. 5Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. 6Convolutional neural networks for expert recommendation in community question answering显示文摘Community Question Answering(CQA) is becoming an increasingly important web service for people to search for expertise and to share their own. With lots of questions being solved, CQA have built a massive, freely accessible knowledge repository, which can provide valuable information for the broader society rather than just satisfy the question askers. It is critically important for CQA services to get high quality answers in order to maximize the benefit of this process. However, people are considered as experts only in their own specialized areas. This paper is concerned with the problem of expert recommendation for a newly posed question, which will reduce the questioner's waiting time and improve the quality of the answer, so as to improve the satisfaction of the whole community. We propose an approach based on convolutional neural networks(CNN) to resolve this issue. 8The Lanshantou Kyanite-bearing Eclogite with Coesite Inclusions in the Sulu Ultrahigh-Pressure Metamorphic Belt and Its PTt Path显示文摘Coesite inclusions are found in kyanite from the Lanshantoueclogite in the Sulu ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) metamorphic belt. This discovery extends the stable region of kyanite to over 2.4 GPa. As an important UHP metamorphic belt in China, the Sulu eclogite belt is the product of A-subduction induced by strong compression of the Yellow Sea terrane to the Jiaodong-northereastem Jiangsu terrane during the interaction of the Eurasian plate and Palaeo-Pacific plate in the Indosinian. It stretches about 350 km and contains over 1000 eclogite bodies. Most eclogites in this belt belong to Groups B and C in the classification of Coleman et al., and commonly contain kyanite, while the Lanshantou eclogite belongs to Group A and contains coesite. 13Sciatic nerve repair using adhesive bonding and a modified conduit显示文摘When repairing nerves with adhesives, most researchers place glue directly on the nerve stumps, but this method does not fix the nerve ends well and allows glue to easily invade the nerve ends. In this study, we established a rat model of completely transected sciatic nerve injury and repaired it using a modified 1 cm-length conduit with inner diameter of 1.5 mm. Each end of the cylindrical conduit contains a short linear channel, while the enclosed central tube protects the nerve ends well. Nerves were repaired with 2-octyl-cyanoacrylate and suture, which complement the function of the modified conduit. The results demonstrated that for the same conduit, the average operation time using the adhesive method was much shorter than with the suture method. No significant differences were found between the two groups in sciatic function index, motor evoked potential latency, motor evoked potential amplitude, muscular recovery rate, number of medullated nerve fibers, axon diameter, or medullary sheath thickness. 14Gut,metabolism and nutritional Support for COVID-19:Experiences from China显示文摘There is little research that focuses on the relationship between the gut,metabolism,nutritional support and COVID-19.As a group of Chinese physicians,nutritionists and scientists working on the frontline treating COVID-19 patients,we aim to integrate our experiences and the current clinical evidence to address this pressing issue in this article.Based on our clinical observations and available evidence,we recommend the following practice.Firstly,the Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 tool should be used routinely and periodically;for patients with a score≥3,oral nutritional supplements should be given immediately.Secondly,for patients receiving the antiviral agents lopinavir/ritonavir,gastrointestinal side effects should be monitored for and timely intervention provided.Thirdly,for feeding,the enteral route should be the first choice.In patients undergoing mechanical ventilation,establishing a jejunal route as early as possible can guarantee the feeding target being achieved if gastric dilatation occurs.Fourthly,we suggest a permissive underfeeding strategy for severe/critical patients admitted to the intensive care unit during the first week of admission,with the energy target no more than 20 kcal/kg/day(for those on mechanical ventilation,this target may be lowered to 10–15 kcal/kg/day)and the protein target around 1.0–1.2 g/kg/day.If the inflammatory condition is significantly alleviated,the energy target may be gradually increased to 25–30 kcal/kg/day and the protein target to 1.2–1.5 g/kg/day.Fifthly,supplemental parenteral nutrition should be used with caution.Lastly,omega-3 fatty acids may be used as immunoregulators,intravenous administration of omega-3 fatty emulsion(10 g/day)at an early stage may help to reduce the inflammatory reaction.Ting Yuanand Wei Chen Hua Jiang Jian-Cheng Zhang Jun Zeng Lu Wang Yu Wang Charles Damien Lu Lei Deng Hongfei Deng Kai Wang Ming-Wei Sun Ping Zhou Ting Yuan Wei Chen 2020Burns & Trauma2020,8,1:2

16A Review of Durable Flame‑Retardant Fabrics by Finishing:Fabrication Strategies and Challenges显示文摘Fabrics with durable flame retardancy are of great importance for preventing potential fire threats in daily life.This review presents a comprehensive discussion of advances in durable flame-retardant fabrics by finishing over the decade.The environmentally sustainable and toxicologically acceptable strategies for improving the durable flame retardancy of fabrics are classified into six types:.(i)the formation of covalent bonds,(ii)the formation of crosslinking networks,(iii)the formation of water-insoluble products,(iv)the use of adhesive layers,(v)the construction of hydrophobic layers,and(vi)the intercalation of flame-retardants into fibres.The design principles,methodologies,and existing problems of different fabrication strategies for imparting durable flame retardancy are summarized and reviewed.The advantages and disadvantages of each strategy are critically discussed.The current challenges and future opportunities are also proposed based on the current market requirements and state-of-the-art technologies.Many recent methodologies have great potential for replacing the conventional durable flame-retardant processes of cellulosic textiles.Peng Qi Feng Chen Yuchun Li Hongfei Li Xiaoyu Gu Jun Sun Sheng Zhang 2023Advanced Fiber Materials2023,5,3:2

18Novel 2H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]hexahydropyridine derivatives: Synthesis, crystal structure, fluorescence properties and cytotoxicity evaluation against human breast cancer cells显示文摘A series of novel 2H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]hexahydropyridine derivatives (II) have been designed and synthesized. The target compounds have been identified by elemental analysis and spectral ( 1 H NMR, IR, and MS) data and the absolute configuration of compound (II 1 ) was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The cytotoxicity of the target compounds have been evalu- ated in vitro against two human breast cancer cell lines MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 by MTT assay. Most compounds exhibited good inhibition, and compounds II 21 (IC 50=4.7μM for MCF-7 and IC 50=9.3μM for MDA-MB-231), II 33 (IC 50=2.4μM for MCF-7 and IC 50=4.2μM for MDA-MB-231) and II 40 (IC 50=3.3μM for MCF-7 and IC 50 =8.6μM for MDA-MB-231) displayed better inhibitory activity than 5-fluorouracil (IC 50=4.8μM for MCF-7 and IC 50=9.6μM for MDA-MB-231, respectively). Flow cytometric analysis and DNA fragmentation suggest that II 33 is cytotoxic and able to induce the apoptosis of MCF-7 cells. 20Tuning exsolution of nanoparticles in defect engineered layered perovskite oxides for efficient CO_(2) electrolysis显示文摘Solid oxide electrolysis cell(SOEC) could be a potential technology to afford chemical storage of renewable electricity by converting water and carbon dioxide.In this work,we present the Ni-doped layered perovskite oxides,(La_(4)Sr_(n-4))_(0.9)Ti_(0.9n)Ni_(0.1n)O_(3n+2) with n=5,8,and 12(LSTNn) for application as catalysts of CO_(2) electrolysis with the exsolution of Ni nanoparticles through a simple in-situ growth method.It is found that the density,size,and distribution of exsolved Ni nanoparticles are determined by the number of n in LSTNn due to the different stack structures of TiO_6 octahedra along the c axis.The Ni doping in LSTNn significantly improved the electrochemical activity by increasing oxygen vacancies,and the Ni metallic nanoparticles afford much more active sites.The results show that LSTNn cathodes can successfully be manipulated the activity by controlling both the n number and Ni exsolution.Among these LSTNn(n=5,8,and 12),LSTN8 renders a higher activity for electrolysis of CO_(2) with a current density of 1.50A cm^(-2)@2.0 V at 800℃ It is clear from these results that the number of n in(La_(4)Sr_(n-4))_(0.9)Ti_(0.9n)Ni_(0.1n)O_(3n+2)with Ni-doping is a key factor in controlling the electrochemical performance and catalytic activity in SOEC.Zhengrong Liu Jun Zhou Yueyue Sun Xiangling Yue Jiaming Yang Lei Fu Qinyuan Deng Hongfei Zhao Chaofan Yin Kai Wu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:1
