| 1 | Artificial intelligence in healthcare:past,present and future显示文摘Artificial intelligence(AI)aims to mimic human cognitive functions.It is bringing a paradigm shift to healthcare,powered by increasing availability of healthcare data and rapid progress of analytics techniques.We survey the current status of AI applications in healthcare and discuss its future.AI can be applied to various types of healthcare data(structured and unstructured).Popular AI techniques include machine learning methods for structured data,such as the classical support vector machine and neural network,and the modern deep learning,as well as natural language processing for unstructured data.Major disease areas that use AI tools include cancer,neurology and cardiology.We then review in more details the AI applications in stroke,in the three major areas of early detection and diagnosis,treatment,as well as outcome prediction and prognosis evaluation.We conclude with discussion about pioneer AI systems,such as IBM Watson,and hurdles for real-life deployment of AI. | Fei Jiang Yong Jiang Hui Zhi Yi Dong Hao Li Sufeng Ma Yilong Wang Qiang Dong Haipeng Shen Yongjun Wang | 2017 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2017,2,4: | 76 |
| 2 | Surface Modification and Characterization of PET Fibers显示文摘Improvement in synthetic fiber based composites is a hot topic in the material area.The incompatibility between the surfaces of synthetic fibers is a significant challenge due to fibers hydrophobic property.In this study,PET(polyethylene terephthalate) fibers based on low hydrophilic were slightly treated with NaOH or sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS).SEM images showed that there were some pits on the surface of PET fibers treated by NaOH,while PET fibers treated by SDBS became smoother.The peaks at 3725 cm^(-1) and 3628 cm^(-1) were generated for PET fibers treated by NaOH,which was attributed to—OH produced from the ester group hydrolysis,but no same peak is shown for the treated ones by SDBS.Meanwhile,the crystallinity indices of the treated PET fibers slightly decreased.Compared with original PET fibers,the formation of sheet made from PET fibers treated by NaOH became worse,but that from SDBS treated PET fibers became better. | SuFeng Zhang MeiJuan Zhang ZhaoXia Sun Jing Wan CongCong Chi | 2016 | Paper And Biomaterials2016,1,2: | 4 |
| 3 | The interference opportunity of the fat emboli occurring after fractures of long bone or pelvis显示文摘Objective: To search for the interference oppoaunity of fat emboli after fracture of long bone or pelvis. Methods: 86patients were selected and divided into urine ketone positive group (UKP group) and urine ketone negative group (UKN group).The clinical data (including clinical and sub- clinical fat embolism) of all cases were analyzed. The incidence rate of fat embo-lism and the serum triglyceride (TG) level were compared between the two groups. Results: 7 patients with ketonuria had fat em-bolism, 3 of them had progressive blood sedimentation and platelet abnormality. The incidence rate of fat embolism and the serumTG level in UKP group was higher than that in UKN group. There was a significant difference between the UKP group ( P < 0.05)and the UKN group ( P < 0.01). Conclusion: The results suggested that the patients have a higher risk of fat embolism when theserum TG level is high, and results in ketonuria. | 5 | Analysis of F_1 hybrid and BC_1 monosomic alien addition line plants from Brassica oleracea × Sinapis alba by GISH显示文摘Sterile and semi-fertile F_1 plants were obtained by intergeneric sexual hybridization between paternal Brassica oleracea var. alboglabra (genome CC, 2n=18) and maternal Sinapis alba (genome SS, 2n=24), BC_1 plants were obtained by backcrossing between paternal B. oleracea and ma-ternal semi-fertile F_1 plants. Genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) combined with dual-colour fluorescence in situ hybridization (dcFISH) showed that sterile F_1 plants contained 21 chromosomes consist-ing of one B. oleracea chromosome set and one S. alba chromosome set, belonging to expected hybrids, and semi-fertile F_1 plants contained 30 chromosomes consisting of two B. oleracea chromosome sets and one S. alba chromosome set. It is obvious that the semi-fertile F_1 plants belong to unexpected hybrids. 1―3 trivalents were detected at meiotic metaphase I of semi-fertile F_1 pollen mother cells (PMCs). Different separation ratios of S chromosomes were detected at anaphase I. A monosomic alien addition line (MAAL) was identified by GISH-dcFISH from BC_1 plants; it contained 19 chromosomes consisting of 18 C chromosomes and 1 S chromosome. At meiotic metaphase I, 9 divalents from B. oleracea and one univalent from S. alba could be detected. Sometimes, one putative C-S trivalent could also be detected.
