1Laser-induced white-light emission from graphene ceramics–opening a band gap in graphene显示文摘Recent theoretical and experimental studies have indicated the existence of a new stable phase of carbon with mixed sp^(2) and sp^(3) hybridized bonds—diaphite.Such a two-layered structure with sp^(2)/sp^(3) bonds may be observed after the photostimulation of highly oriented pyrolytic graphene with femtosecond laser pulses.This hidden multistability of graphene may be used to create a semiconducting phase immersed in the semimetallic continuum,resulting in bandgap opening.We demonstrate that bandgap opening and light emission from graphene is possible using continuous-wave laser beams with wavelengths from the visible(405 nm)to the near-infrared range(975 nm).We demonstrate that without the application of cooling,the effective temperature of the emitting sample remains lower than 900 K,which is far below the value predicted by the theory of black-body radiation.Moreover,light emission from a graphene sample may be observed at temperatures as low as 10 K.Wieslaw Strek Bartlomiej Cichy Lukasz Radosinski Pawel Gluchowski Lukasz Marciniak Mikolaj Lukaszewicz Dariusz Hreniak 2015Light(Science & Applications)2015,4,1:6
2Influence of concentration and sintering temperature on luminescence properties of Eu^(3+):SnO_2 nanocrystallites显示文摘The nanopowders of SnO2 doped with different Eu3+ concentrations were synthesized using the modified Pechini method. The Eu3+ concentrations were high above solubility limit. The average size of crystallites was controlled by the sintering temperatures. The structure and the morphology of obtained powders were examined using the XRD (X-ray diffraction) and TEM (transmission electron microscopy) analyses. The Eu2Sn2O7 phase separation was observed at relatively high concentration of Eu3+ ions. The ZnS:Ag micropowders were mixed with the Eu3+:SnO2 powders and their normalized emission was used to measure a relative efficiency of Eu3+:SnO2. The photoluminescence spectra of mixed powders were measured in function of Eu3+ concentration and average size of nanocrystallites. The reference peak method was used for comparison of intensities of the samples and selection of optimal one. The influence of the average grain size and Eu3+ concen-tration on the phosphor's efficiency was discussed. 3Laser induced broadband white emission of Y2Si2O7 nanocrystals显示文摘The generation of broadband white emission of theα-Y2Si2O7 nanocrystals was observed upon excitation by focused beam ofCW lasers operating in near infrared,visible and blue regions.The influence of excitation energy on order of process is presented.The temperature of sample emitting laser induced white emission(LIWE)was determined by luminescence nanothermometry technique.It is found that the temperature is much lower than that predicted by blackbody model characterized with the same energy.It is shown that the LIWE is accompanied by efficient photocurrent.An origin of white emission is discussed in terms of multiphoton ionization process leading to the inter valence charge transfer emission.Robert Tomala Dariusz Hreniak Wieslaw Strek 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,11:2
4Synthesis and characterization of core/shell structured nanophosphors CePO_4:Tb@LaPO_4 by solvothermal method显示文摘Core/shell structured CePO4:Tb(III) @LaPO4 and CePO4:Tb(III) were successfully synthesized in tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate(TEHP) and diethylene glycol(DEG) solvents for comparison of the two techniques in open air and closed reaction vessel.Morphology and crystal structure of the core/shell nanophosphors were determined by using X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) ,which showed that nanophosphors had diameter of about 5-10 nm with the monoclinic monazite phase.The nanophosphors obtained by close vessel procedure showed smaller size,more homogeneity and pure crystallite.The luminescent measurements were done upon the different excitation wavelengths in ultraviolet region and at room temperature to elucidate the influences of the used solvents and the reaction temperatures.It was found that CePO4:Tb@LaPO4 prepared by the close vessel synthesis showed the intensity of green band of the transfer from 5D4 to 7F5 energy level,which was strongly increased,and the luminescent decay time was 3.2 ms,which was longer than that of naked CePO4:Tb phosphor.Dinh Xuan Loc Tran Thi Kim Chi Tran Thu Huong Nguyen Vu Tran Kim Anh Wieslaw Strek Le Quoc Minh 2011Journal of Rare Earths2011,29,12:2
5Synthesis and characterization of monodisperse Eu^3+ doped gadolinium oxysulfide nanocrystals显示文摘Gd_2O_2S:Eu^(3+) nanoparticles were synthesized using two step process consisting of sulfuration of basic carbonates obtained by homogenous precipitation.Annealing of lanthanide nitrates at total concentration of 5×10^(-3) mol/L in a water solution containing relatively high,three molar concentration of urea ensured the optimal conditions for the reproducible preparation of uniform and small spherical particles.During sulfuration step elemental sulfur was mixed with precursor which eliminated necessity of using an auxiliary furnace and provided sulfur-reach reaction atmosphere.Such optimized protocol afforded synthesis of spherical and non-agglomerated nanoparticles with diameter smaller than 100 nm.The precursors morphology was maintained,but particles size was reduced by 15%-20%during sulfuration.The results indicated that higher emission intensity was observed for Gd_2O_2S:Eu^(3+)(8%)oxysulfide sample synthesized using crystalline Gd(CO_3)OH precursor,than for that obtained from amorphous Gd_2(OH)_2(CO_3)_2·H_2O precursor,although some further efforts to improve morphology of the former are still required.J. 6Upconversion luminescence of Gd2O3:Er3+and Gd2O3:Er3+/silica nanophosphors fabricated by EDTA combustion method显示文摘Gd2O3:Er^3+nanophosphors were fabricated by the combustion method in presence of Na2 ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid(EDTA-Na2)as fuel at not high temperature(≤350℃)within a very short time of 5 min.The added concentration of Er^3+ions in Gd2O3 matrix was changed from 0.5 mol%to 5.0 mol%.The X-ray diffraction pattern of samples indicates the monoclinic structure of Gd2O3:Er^3+.The morphology and chemical composition analysis of the Gd2O3:Er^3+samples are characterized by a field emission scanning electron microscope(FESEM)and a Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR).The photoluminescence(PL),photo luminescence excitation(PLE)and upconversion(UC)at room temperature of the prepared materials with different concentrations of Er^3+were investigated.The PL of Gd2O3:Er^3+nanomaterials are shown in visible at 545,594,623,648,688 nm under excitation at 275 nm.The emission bands from transitions of Er^3+from 2P3/2 to 4F9/2 are observed,UC luminescent spectra of the Gd2O3:Er^3+/silica nanocomposites under 976 nm excitation show the bands at 548 and 670 nm.The influence of excitation power at 980 nm for transitions were measured and calculated.The results indicate that the upconversion process of Gd2O3:Er^3+/silica is two photons absorption mechanism.The low temperature dependence of UC luminescent intensities of the main bands of Gd2O3:Er^3+was investigated towards development of a nanotemperature sensor in the range of 10-300 K.Le Quoc Minh Tran Kim Anh Nguyen Duy Hung Pham Thi Minh Chau Nguyen Thi Quy Hai Ho Van Tuyen Vu Thi Thai Ha Vu Duc Tu Wieslaw Strek 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,11:2
