1Developing conservation strategies for Pinus koraiensis and Eleutherococcus senticosus by using model-based geographic distributions显示文摘We described potential changes in the geographic distribution and occurrence probability of Pinus koraiensis Sieb. et Zucc. and Eleutherococcus senticosus(Rupr. et Maxim.) Maxim. in the counties of northeast China. This information was used to identify priority areas for protection and provide protection and management recommendations within each studied county. The two species were mapped in 2884 study plots throughout this region over a 4-year period(38 400N–53 300 N, 115 050E–135 020E). We used the species distribution models(Maxent), systematic conservation planning models(Marxan), and Geographic Information Systems(Arc GIS10.0). The distributions of two species were correlated in the study area, enabling unique and economically viable joint conservation measures to be implemented. Three models were combined to identify feasible priority conservation sites. We used local spatial statistics to assess all identified conservation areas in relation to potential climate change based shifts in the geographic distribution of the two species. Model-based conservation strategies were used to identify effective measures to protect and utilize these two tree species in the study region. 2Deep plug-and-play priors for spectral snapshot compressive imaging显示文摘We propose a plug-and-play(Pn P) method that uses deep-learning-based denoisers as regularization priors for spectral snapshot compressive imaging(SCI). Our method is efficient in terms of reconstruction quality and speed trade-off, and flexible enough to be ready to use for different compressive coding mechanisms. We demonstrate the efficiency and flexibility in both simulations and five different spectral SCI systems and show that the proposed deep Pn P prior could achieve state-of-the-art results with a simple plug-in based on the optimization framework. This paves the way for capturing and recovering multi-or hyperspectral information in one snapshot,which might inspire intriguing applications in remote sensing, biomedical science, and material science. 3Study on Commercial Application of FP-DSN Sulfur Transfer Additive in FCC Unit显示文摘The FCC unit with addition of various inventories of the FP-DSN type sulfur transfer additive was tested in a commercial scale. The effect of the sulfur transfer additive was analyzed by investigating the indicators related with the regenerator flue gas composition,the dry gas composition before desulfurization,the LPG composition before desulfurization,the acid gas,and the yield of gasoline and diesel. 7Dynamic phenotypic heterogeneity and the evolution of multiple RNA subtypes in hepatocellular carcinoma:the PLANET study显示文摘Intra-tumor heterogeneity(ITH) is a key challenge in cancer treatment, but previous studies have focused mainly on the genomic alterations without exploring phenotypic(transcriptomic and immune)heterogeneity. Using one of the largest prospective surgical cohorts for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with multi-region sampling, we sequenced whole genomes and paired transcriptomes from 67 HCC patients(331 samples). We found that while genomic ITH was rather constant across stages, phenotypic ITH had a very different trajectory and quickly diversified in stage Ⅱ patients. Most strikingly, 30% of patients were found to contain more than one transcriptomic subtype within a single tumor. Such phenotypic ITH was found to be much more informative in predicting patient survival than genomic ITH and explains the poor efficacy of single-target systemic therapies in HCC. 12Combinatorial screening via high-throughput preparation:Thermoelectric performance optimization for n-type Bi-Te-Se film with high average zT>1显示文摘Thermoelectric materials have drawn extensive interest due to the direct conversion between electricity and heat,however,it is usually a time-consuming process for applying traditional“sequential”meth-ods to grow materials and investigate their properties,especially for thermoelectric films that typically require fine microstructure control.High-throughput experimental approaches can effectively accelerate materials development,but the methods for high-throughput screening of the microstructures require further study.In this work,a combinatorial high-throughput optimization solution of material properties is proposed for the parallel screening and optimizing of composition and microstructure,which involves two distinctive types of high-throughput fabrication approaches for thin films,along with a new portable multiple discrete masks based high-throughput preparation platform.Thus,Bi_(2)Te_(3-x)Se_(x)thin film library with 196 throughputs for locating the optimized composition is obtained in one growth cycle.In addition,another thin film library composed of 31 materials with traceable process parameters is built to further investigate the relationship between microstructure,process,and thermoelectric performance.Through high-throughput screening,the Bi_(2)Te_(2.9)Se_(0.1)film with(00l)orientation is prepared with a peak zT value of 1.303 at 353 K along with a high average zT value of 1.047 in the interval from 313 to 523 K.This method can be also extended to the discovery of other functional thin films with a rapid combinatorial screening of the composition and structure to accelerate material optimization.Guangyu Han Wei Zhu Siming Guo Jie Zhou Yutong Liu Yuan Deng 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,29:0
