| 1 | Influence of surface modification of SrFe12O19 particles with oleic acid on magnetic microsphere preparation显示文摘Oleic acid was used as surface modification agent to improve the hydrophobicity of magnetic strontium hexaferrite particles.The structure and properties of treated magnetic particles were characterized by scanning electronic microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectra(FTIR),powder X-ray diffraction(XRD) and magnetic property measurement system(MPMS).The results show that oleic acid is chemically enwrapped on the surface of SrFe12O19 particles.Magnetic particles modified by oleic acid are highly dispersible and strongly responsive to magnetism but with slight decrease in saturated magnetization.The affinity between magnetic particles and monomers is improved by surface modification,resulting in increased particle incorporation in magnetic polymeric microspheres.The surface modification mechanism of magnetic particles by oleic acid is addressed in this work. | Sifang Kong Peipei Zhang Xiufang Wen Pihui Pi Jiang Cheng Zhuoru Yang Jing Hai | 2008 | Particuology2008,6,3: | 7 |
| 2 | Preparation of Mg,N-co-doped lignin adsorbents for enhanced selectivity and high adsorption capacity of As(Ⅴ) from wastewater显示文摘Among various environmental problems,water pollution has drawn more and more attention.To develop an adsorbent with enhanced selectivity and high capacity for As(V)oxyanion,a novel lignin-based adsorbent was prepared by doping with N and modifying with Mg^(2+),using thiethylenetetramine(TETA)and MgCl_(2) as the source of N and Mg^(2+),respectively.N-doped lignin(NL)shows a high selectivity for As(Ⅴ),which is further enhanced by modifying with Mg^(2+)(MNL).MNL shows an excellent reusability.The adsorption isotherms and kinetics of MNL for As(Ⅴ)follow Langmuir isotherms model and pseudo-second-order kinetics model,respectively.The adsorption of MNL for As(Ⅴ)achieved a maximum adsorption capacity of 687.46 mg g^(−1) and the equilibrium was established within 30 min.This study offers a novel idea on the recycle of the waste of paper industry and provides a new technology for As(Ⅴ)adsorption from wastewater. | Xiaofeng Shi Junmao Hong Chao Wang Sifang Kong Junhua Li Duo Pan Jing Lin Qinglong Jiang Zhanhu Guo | 2021 | Particuology2021,19,5: | 2 |
| 3 | Identification of a novel PHGDH covalent inhibitor by chemical proteomics and phenotypic profiling显示文摘The first rate-limiting enzyme of the serine synthesis pathway(SSP), phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase(PHGDH), is hyperactive in multiple tumors, which leads to the activation of SSP and promotes tumorigenesis. However, only a few inhibitors of PHGDH have been discovered to date, especially the covalent inhibitors of PHGDH. Here, we identified withangulatin A(WA), a natural small molecule,as a novel covalent inhibitor of PHGDH. Affinity-based protein profiling identified that WA could directly bind to PHGDH and inactivate the enzyme activity of PHGDH. Biolayer interferometry and LC-MS/MS analysis further demonstrated the selective covalent binding of WA to the cysteine 295 residue(Cys295)of PHGDH. With the covalent modification of Cys295, WA blocked the substrate-binding domain(SBD)of PHGDH and exerted an allosteric effect to induce PHGDH inactivation. | 6 | Origin of the Fanjingshan Mafic-Ultramafic Rocks, Western Jiangnan Orogen, South China: Implications for PGE Fractionation and Mineralization显示文摘The Fanjingshan mafic-ultramafic rocks in the west Jiangnan Orogen of South China are considered to be a potential target for mineral exploration. However, the petrogenesis and magma evolution of these rocks are not yet clearly constrained, let along their economic significance. The compositions of platinum group elements(PGE) in the Fanjingshan mafic-ultramafic rocks can provide particular insight into the generation and evolution of the mantle-derived magma and thus the potential of Cu-Ni-PGE sulphide mineralization. The Fanjingshan mafic-ultramafic rocks have relatively high Pd-subgroup PGE(PPGE) relative to Ir-subgroup PGE(IPGE) in the primitive mantle-normalized diagrams. Meanwhile, the Fanjingshan mafic-ultramafic rocks have low Pd/Ir(11–28) ratios, implying relatively low degree of partial melting in the mantle. Low Cu/Pd ratios(545–5 216) and high Cu/Zr ratios(0.4–5.8 with the majority greater than 1) of Fanjingshan ultramafic rocks indicate that the S-undersaturated parental magma with relatively high PGE was formed. Although the Fanjingshan mafic rocks have remarkably higher Cu/Pd ratios(8 913–107 016) likely resulting from sulphide segregation, the degree of sulphide removal is insignificant. Fractionation of olivine rather than chromite and platinum group minerals or alloys governed the fractionation of PGE and produced depletion of IPGE(Os, Ir and Ru) relative to PPGE(Rh, Pt and Pd), as supported by the positive correlation between Pd/Ir and V, Y and REE. Collectively, original S-undersaturated magma and insignificant crustal contamination during magma ascent and emplacement result in the separation of immiscible sulphide impossible and thus impede the formation of economic CuNi-PGE sulphide mineralization within the Fanjingshan mafic-ultramafic rocks. | Sifang Huang Wei Wang | 2019 | Journal of Earth Science2019,30,2: | 1 |

| 18 | An Experimental Validation Study on Ferrofuid Evaporation显示文摘The current research on the evaporation of ferrofuids mainly focuses on the characterization of ultra-low vapor pressure ferrofuids in vacuum and the theoretical analysis of the evaporation process.Few studies have focused on the experimental validation of the proposed evaporation rate equations and on the comparison of the diferences in ferrofuid evaporation.In this study,based on the Bolotov’s model,an evaporation rate equation is deduced from the experimental model.The experimental study included a comparison of the evaporation,magnetic particle volume fraction,temperature,height of the fuid surface from the outlet,and magnetic feld of a kerosene-based ferrofuid and its base carrier liquid.The prepared sample was evaporated in a test tube,and the evaporation rate was calculated by measuring the weight loss of the sample.The experimental results show that the evaporation rate of the base carrier liquid is higher than that of the ferrofuid.The smaller the volume fraction of the magnetic particles,the greater the evaporation rate.The magnetic particles play a key role in preventing evaporation of the base liquid.The higher the temperature,the smaller the deviation of the evaporation rate from the predicted value.The evaporation rates obtained by the two control groups at the height of the fuid surface from the outlet were lower than the predict value.The magnetic feld had a certain promotional efect on the evaporation of the ferrofuid.The experimental results were consistent with the results obtained using Bolotov’s model.This research validates Bolotov’s model and shows that the model is somewhat biased but still responds well to diferent variables. | Wenjuan Yu Decai Li Sifang Niu | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2022,35,4: | 0 |
| 19 | Neoarchean granitic rocks from the Jiamiao area of the Dabie orogen:Implications on the formation and early evolution of the Yangtze Craton显示文摘Archean rock exposures in the Yangtze Craton of South China are scarce and have been only studied in small-scale outcrops for understanding its early crustal evolution.Geological investigations have been carried out for three Neoarchean gneissic granitic plutons from the Dabie orogen in the northeastern margin of the Yangtze Craton.Zircon U-Pb geochronology constrains the emplacement of high-K monzogranite at 2645±30 Ma,high-K syenogranite at 2630±37 Ma and Na-rich granodiorite at 2497±29 Ma.These findings provide direct evidence for the existence of∼2.7-2.5 Ga rocks in the Dabie orogen,which significantly contribute to the distribution and evolution of Neoarchean basement rocks in the Yangtze Craton.Zircon crystals from the three granite samples giveεHf(t)values of−0.9 to 3.7,−4.2 to−0.4 and−4.7 to 0.1,respectively,corresponding to T_(DM2) ages of 3186-2909,3372-3141 and 3297-3005 Ma.The magmatic zircons have δ^(18)O values of 5.06±0.27‰to 5.79±0.30‰(average 5.59‰),6.14±0.24 to 7.35±0.26‰(average 6.87‰)and 5.95±0.17‰to 7.09±0.17‰(average 6.55‰),respectively.Considering the possible decrease of δ^(18)O value due to the lead loss during post-crystallization alteration,the primary δ^(18)O values might be substantially higher than those of the normal mantle zircon value(δ^(18)O=5.3±0.6‰).These isotopic data indicate that the Jiamiao Neoarchean granites were largely generated through reworking of Paleo-Mesoarchean basement rocks with a minor contribution of supracrustal material.Integrating our findings with previous results,we infer that the Archean-Paleoproterozoic complexes/terranes of the Yangtze Craton have distinct petrogenesis and the timings of the transition from Na-rich to high-K granites,crustal growth,and tectonothermal evolution before∼2.0 Ga.However,all of them underwent metamorphism at about 2.0 Ga.These observations also reveal that the Yangtze Craton might comprise several microcontinents that evolved individually and collided to form a unified craton at∼2.0 Ga,synchronous with the assembly of the Columbia supercontinent.However,the lack of relevant data from the southeastern Yangtze Craton may have a critical influence on this conclusion and should be solved in the future. | Yang TIAN Wei WANG Wei JIN Yuanbao WU Jing WANG Xin DENG Sifang HUANG | 2022 | Science China Earth Sciences2022,65,8: | 0 |
