| 1 | Thawing and freezing processes of active layer in Wudaoliang region of Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The interaction between permafrost and atmosphere is accomplished through transfer of heat and moisture in the overlay active layer. Thus, the research on the thermal and hydrodynamics of active layer during the thawing and freezing processes was considered a key to revealing the heat and moisture exchanges between permafrost and atmosphere. The monitoring and research on active layer were conducted because permafrost occupies about two thirds of the total area of the Tibetan Plateau. Based on the analysis of the ground temperature data and soil moisture data of monitoring near the Wudaoliang region of the Tibetan Plateau, the thawing and freezing processes of active layer were divided into four stages, i.e. summer thawing stage (ST), autumn freezing stage (AF), winter cooling stage (WC) and spring warming stage (SW). Coupled heat and water flow is much more complicated in ST and AF, and more amount of water is migrating in these two stages. | 4 | Triple Medium Physical Model of Post Fracturing High-Rank Coal Reservoir in Southern Qinshui Basin显示文摘In this paper, influences on the reservoir permeability, the reservoir architecture and the fluid flow pattern caused by hydraulic fracturing are analyzed. Based on the structure and production fluid flow model of post fracturing high-rank coal reservoir, Warren-Root Model is improved. A new physical model that is more suitable for post fracturing high-rank coal reservoir is established. The results show that the width, the flow conductivity and the permeability of hydraulic fractures are much larger than natural fractures in coal bed reservoir. Hydraulic fracture changes the flow pattern of gas and flow channel to wellbore, thus should be treated as an independent medium. Warrant-Root Model has some limitations and can't give a comprehensive interpretation of seepage mechanism in post fracturing high-rank coal reservoir. Modified Warrant-Root Model simplifies coal bed reservoir to an ideal system with hydraulic fracture, orthogonal macroscopic fracture and cuboid matrix. Hydraulic fracture is double wing, vertical and symmetric to wellbore. Coal bed reservoir is divided into cuboids by hydraulic fracture and further by macroscopic fractures. Flow behaviors in coal bed reservoir are simplified to three step flows of gas and two step flows of water. The swap mode of methane between coal matrix and macroscopic fractures is pseudo steady fluid channeling. The flow behaviors of methane to wellbore no longer follow Darcy's Law and are mainly affected by inertia force. The flow pattern of water follows Darcy's Law. | 5 | HSP70L1-mediated intracellular priming of dendritic cell vaccination induces more potent CTL response against cancer显示文摘Heat-shock protein(HSP)-based immunotherapy is established on its adjuvant effects when applied via an extracellular approach to pulse and activate dendritic cells(DCs).Our previous studies indicate that DCs pulsed with recombinant fusion proteins of antigenic fragment and HSP70-like protein 1(HSP70L1)are potent in stimulating antigen-specific Th1 responses.We herein evaluated the cytotoxic T cell(CTL)response by an intracellular approach of priming DCs with transfection of recombinant adenovirus-expressing the fusion gene of the 576–699 fragment of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)and HSP70L1.As compared with DCs pulsed with extracellular fusion protein,the DCs transfected with recombinant adenovirus expressing the fusion gene displayed equivalent mature phenotypes but less inflammatory appearance.However,the transfected DCs were superior to the pulsed DCs in inducing CEA-specific CTLs.Consistently,immunization of HLA-A2.1/H-2Kb transgene mice with the transfected DCs could induce more quantities of HLA-A2.1-restricted CEA-specific CTLs,protecting nude mice more significantly from human CEA-expressing colon tumor challenge when adoptively transferred.Mechanistic investigation indicated that intracellular expression of the fusion protein empowered the transfected DCs by activation of STAT1 possibly via inducing IFN-βand ERK pathways.Therefore,the more potent ability to induce anti-CEA CTL responses enables the DCs,which transfected with recombinant adenovirus expressing the fusion gene of antigenic CEA fragment and Th1 adjuvant,as an alternative promising approach for the immunotherapy of CEA-positive tumors. | Shuxun Liu Lin Yi Ma Ling Jinxia Jiang Lijun Song Juan Liu Xuetao Cao | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,2: | 2 |
| 6 | Numerical study on effects of the cofferdam area in liquefied natural gas storage tank on the leakage and diffusion characteristics of natural gas显示文摘The leakage and diffusion characteristics of natural gas were investigated in the condition of the leakage of liquefied natural gas(LNG) in the storage tank.Fluent was adopted to simulate the process in a series of three-dimension unsteady state calculations.The effects of different heights of the cofferdam(1.0 m, 2.0 m and 3.0 m),wind directions,ambient temperature,leakage location,leakage volume on the diffusion process of natural gas were investigated.The diffusion characteristics of the natural gas clouds over cofferdam were found.Under windless condition,when the gas clouds met,the gas clouds rose due to the collision,which made them easier to cross the cofferdam and spread out.The higher the ambient temperature was,the higher the gas concentration around the cofferdam was,and the smaller the gas concentration difference was.When the leakage occurred,the higher coffe rdam was more beneficial to delay the outward diffusion of gas clouds.However,when the leaka ge stopped,the higher cofferdam went against the dissipation of gas clouds.Under windy condition,the time to form stable leakage flow field was faster than that of windless,and the lower cofferdam further reduced this time.Therefore,considering the effect of barrier and dissipation,it was suggested that the rational height of cofferdam should be designed in the range of 1.0 m to 2.0 m.In case of emergency,the leakage of gas should be deduced reasonably by combining the measurement of gas concentration with the rolling of gas clouds.When windless,the leakage area should be entered between the overflows of gas clouds. | Zirong Lin Shuangfeng Wang Shuxun Fu Jiepeng Huo | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1: | 2 |

| 10 | Intracellular HSP70L1 inhibits human dendritic cell maturation by promoting suppressive H3K27me3 and H2AK119Ub1 histone modifications显示文摘Epigenetic regulation has been attracting increasing attention due to its role in cell differentiation and behaviors.However,the epigenetic mechanisms that regulate human dendritic cell(DC)differentiation and development remain poorly understood.Our previous studies show that extracellular heat shock protein 70-like protein(HSP70L1)is a potent adjuvant of Th1 responses via stimulating DCs when released from cells;however,the role of intracellular HSP70L1 in DC differentiation and maturation remains unknown.Herein,we demonstrate that intracellular HSP70L1 inhibits human DC maturation by suppressing MHC and costimulatory molecule expression,in contrast to the adjuvant activity of extracellular HSP70L1.The stability of intracellular HSP70L1 is dependent on DNAJC2,a known epigenetic regulator.Mechanistically,intracellular HSP70L1 inhibits the recruitment of Ash1l to and maintains the repressive H3K27me3 and H2AK119Ub1 modifications on the promoter regions of costimulatory,MHC and STAT3 genes.Thus,intracellular HSP70L1 is an inhibitor of human DC maturation.Our results provide new insights into the epigenetic regulation of cell development by intracellular HSP70L1. | Lin Yi Zhiqing Li Tianju Hu Juan Liu Nan Li Xuetao Cao Shuxun Liu | 2020 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2020,17,1: | 1 |

| 12 | Thermal property evaluation of a 2.5D integration method with device level microchannel direct cooling for a high-power GaN HEMT device显示文摘Gallium nitride high electron mobility transistor(GaN HEMT)devices have become critical components in the manufacturing of high-performance radio frequency(RF)or power electronic modules due to their superior characteristics,such as high electron saturation speeds and high power densities.However,the high heat characteristics of GaN HEMTs make device level cooling a critical problem to solve since performance degradation or even failure may occur under high temperatures.In this paper,we proposed a 2.5D integration method with devicelevel microchannel direct cooling for a high-power GaN HEMT device.To demonstrate this technological concept,a multigate GaN HEMT device featuring a gate length/width/source drain spacing of 0.5μm/300μm/6μm that underwent in-house backside thinning and metallization was used as the test vehicle.A high-resistivity silicon(HR Si)interposer embedded with four-layer microchannels was designed,having widths/pitches of 30μm/30μm at the top microchannel.The high-power GaN HEMT device was soldered on a Si interposer embedded with open microchannels for heat dissipation.A pair of GSG Pad chips was soldered simultaneously to display the capacity for the heterogeneous integration of other chip types.Thermal property evaluation was conducted with experiments and simulations.The test results showed that the maximum surface temperature of the GaN HEMT device decreased to 93.8°C when it experienced a heat dissipation density of 32 kW/cm^(2) in the gate finger area and an average heat dissipation density of 5 kW/cm^(2) was found in the active area with the DI water coolant at a flow rate of 3 mL/min.To our knowledge,among recently reported works,this finding was the best cooling capacity of heterogeneously integrated microchannels for GaN HEMT devices.In addition,this technology was scalable regarding the numbers of gate fingers or GaN HEMT devices. | Tingting Lian Yanming Xia Zhizheng Wang Xiaofeng Yang Zhiwei Fu Xin Kong Shuxun Lin Shenglin Ma | 2022 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,6: | 0 |

| 15 | Analysis about the influence on the thermal regime in permafrost regions with different underlying surfaces显示文摘In the last several decades, the underlying surface conditions on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau have changed dramatically, causing permafrost degradation due to climate change and human activities. This change severely influenced the cold regions environment and engineering infrastructure built above permafrost. Permafrost is a product of the interaction between the atmosphere and the ground. The formation and change of permafrost are determined by the energy exchange between earth and atmosphere system. Fieldwork was performed in order to learn how land surface change influenced the thermal regime in permafrost regions. In this article, the field data observed in the Fenghuo Mountain regions was used to analyze the thermal conditions under different underlying surfaces on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Results show that underlying surface change may alter the primary energy balance and the thermal conditions of permafrost. The thermal flux in the permafrost regions is also changed, resulting in rising upper soil temperature and thickening active layer. Vegetation could prevent solar radiation from entering the ground, cooling the ground in the warm season. Also, vegetation has heat insulation and heat preservation functions related to the ground surface and may keep the permafrost stable. Plots covered with black plastic film have higher temperatures compared with plots covered by natural vegetation. The reason is that black plastic film has a low albedo, which could increase the absorbed solar radiation, and also decrease evapotranspiration.
