| 2 | Effects of annealing treatment on the microstructure and electrochemical properties of low-Co hydrogen storage alloys containing Cu and Fe显示文摘The effects of annealing treatment on the microstructure and electrochemical properties of low-Co LaNi 3.55 Mn 0.35 Co 0.20 Al 0.20 Cu 0.75 Fe 0.10 hydrogen storage alloys were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicated that annealing treatment remarkably reduced the lattice strain and defects, and increased the unit-cell volume. The optical microscope analysis showed that the as-cast alloy had a crass dendrite microstructure with noticeable composition segregation, which gradually disappeared with increasing annealing temperature, and the micro-structure changed to an equiaxed structure after annealing the alloy at 1233 K. The electrochemical tests indicated that the annealed alloys demonstrated much better cycling stability compared with the as-cast one. The capacity retention at the 100th cycle increased from 90.0% (as-cast) to 94.7% (1273 K). The annealing treatment also improved the discharge capacity. | 3 | Design and parameter optimization of flexible comb-type grass seed metering device显示文摘In order to optimize the structure schema of flexible comb-type grass seeder,the effects of combing teeth gap L,rotation speed of comb shaft N,seed metering device inclining angle α and groove strip inclining angle θ on the rate and uniformity of seeding were observed by test and analyzed,then the coefficient of seeding stability variation was explored in the simulating planting environment on the soil tank test bed based on the above four influencing factors,with Festuca arundinacea seeds as example.According to the results of regression analysis,the model fits well with the actual situation.L,N,α,and the interaction term of N and θ are significant,and the interaction term of θ and α is extremely significant.The analysis of interaction factor effect shows that the variation coefficient responds to the interaction of N and θ in the same manner as that responds to the interaction of θ and α,showing ‘saddle’ variation tendency.Suppose the acceptable maximum value of coefficient of seeding uniformity variation is 4%,then the inverse proportion relationship between factors is inferred according to the change trend of the above interaction factors and derivation of regression equation.Then the regression equation was simplified according to the inverse proportion equation,and four groups of parameters were obtained.Each parameter group was tested,and the test results agreed with the regression equation's predicting value,with the correlation coefficient 0.726.This research can provide reference for the development of seed metering devices and grass seeders. | Yang Song Zhang Shumin | 2015 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,1: | 5 |

| 6 | Optimizing pH-sensitive and time-dependent polymer formula of colonic pH-responsive pellets to achieve precise drug release显示文摘Time-sensitive and pH-dependent polymers are generally employed to prepare colon-site delivery system, and their coating thickness and order are very important in controlling the drug release. The traditional colon-site delivery systems consist of time-dependent polymers as inner layer and pH-sensitive polymers as outer layer. However, they suffer from low drug-loading rate and immature drug release. In this study, total alkaloids of sophora alopecuroides(TASA)-loaded pellets were prepared by extrusion-spheronization method and coated with Eudragit RS30D and Eudragit S100. Pellets using Eudragit RS30D as inner layer and Eudragit S100 as outer layer were named as ERS-ES100 TCO, while pellets with Eudragit S100 as inner layer and Eudragit RS30D as outer layer were ES100-ERS NCO. Both types of formulations with varying coating ratios and orders of Eudragit S100 and Eudragit RS30D were designed and prepared. The following in vitro drug release and SEM studies indicated that ERS-ES100 TCO(F2) with 12.8% Eudragit RS30D as inner layer and 21% Eudragit S100 as outer layer released up to 42% drug in 5 h. Interestingly, ES100-ERS NCO(F4) coated with 12.8% Eudragit S100 and 14.8% Eudragit RS30D showed optimal drug release in colon. In conclusion, ES100-ERS NCO colonic delivery system achieved reduced coating thickness and improved colonic targeting compared with traditional delivery system(ERS-ES100 TCO). | 8 | Improvement of the chirality near avoided resonance crossing in optical microcavity显示文摘Chirality is one of the important phenomena at the vicinity of exceptional point(EP). The conventional understanding is that the chirality is determined by asymmetrical scattering efficiency(?), which reaches to zero only when the resonance approaches EP. Here we study the possibility to enhance the chirality in open systems with a more robust mechanism. By combining chirality with avoided resonance crossing, we show that the chirality and ? can be dramatically modified. Taking a spiral shaped annular cavity as an example, we show that the chirality of optical resonances can be significantly improved when two sets of chiral states approach each other. The imbalance between counterclockwise(CCW) components and clockwise(CW) components has been enhanced by more than an order of magnitude. | 9 | Relationship of serum GDF11 levels with bone mineral density and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women显示文摘Growth differentiation factor 11(GDF11) is an important circulating factor that regulates aging.However,the role of GDF11 in bone metabolism remains unclear.The present study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between serum GDF11 level,bone mass,and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women.Serum GDF11 level,bone turnover biochemical markers,and bone mineral density(BMD) were determined in 169 postmenopausal Chinese women(47–78 years old).GDF11 serum levels increased with aging.There were negative correlations between GDF11 and BMD at the various skeletal sites.After adjusting for age and body mass index(BMI),the correlations remained statistically significant.In the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis,age or years since menopause,BMI,GDF11,and estradiol were independent predictors of BMD.A significant negative correlation between GDF11 and bone alkaline phosphatase(BAP) was identified and remained significant after adjusting for age and BMI.No significant correlation was noted between cross-linked N-telopeptides of type I collagen(NTX) and GDF11.In conclusion,GDF11 is an independent negative predictor of BMD and correlates with a biomarker of bone formation,BAP,in postmenopausal Chinese women.GDF11 potentially exerts a negative effect on bone mass by regulating bone formation. | Yusi Chen Qi Guo Min Zhang Shumin Song Tonggui Quan Tiepeng Zhao Hongliang Li Lijuan Guo Tiejian Jiang Guangwei Wang | 2016 | Bone Research2016,4,1: | 1 |

| 11 | Discovery of small molecule Gαq/11 protein inhibitors against uveal melanoma显示文摘Constitutively activated G proteins caused by specific mutations mediate the development of multiple malignancies. The mutated Gaq/11 are perceived as oncogenic drivers in the vast majority of uveal melanoma(UM) cases, making directly targeting Gaq/11 to be a promising strategy for combating UM. Herein, we report the optimization of imidazopiperazine derivatives as Gaq/11 inhibitors, and identified GQ262 with improved Gaq/11 inhibitory activity and drug-like properties. GQ262 efficiently blocked UM cell proliferation and migration in vitro. Analysis of the apoptosis-related proteins, extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK), and yes-associated protein(YAP) demonstrated that GQ262 distinctly induced UM cells apoptosis and disrupted the downstream effectors by targeting Gaq/11directly. Significantly, GQ262 showed outstanding antitumor efficacy in vivo with good safety at the testing dose. | 13 | Mechanism of high-concentration electrolyte inhibiting the destructive effect of Mn(Ⅱ)on the performance of lithium-ion batteries显示文摘By optimizing electrolyte formulation to inhibit the deposition of transition metal ions(TMIs) on the surface of the graphite anode is an effective way to improve the electrochemical performance of lithium-ion batteries.At present,it is generally believed the formation of an effective interfacial film on the surface of the anode electrode is the leading factor in reducing the dissolution of TMIs and prevent TMIs from being embedded in the electrode.It ignores the influence of the solvation structures in the electrolyte system with different composition,and is not conducive to the design of the electrolyte formulation from the perspective of changing the concentration and the preferred solvent to inhibit the degradation of battery performance caused by TMIs deposition.In this work,by analyzing the special solvation structures of the high-concentra tion electrolyte,we study the main reason why high-concentration electrolyte inhibits the destructive effect of Mn(Ⅱ) on the electrochemical performance of LIBs.By combining the potentialresolved in-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technology(PRIs-EIS) and density functional theory(DFT) calculation,we find that Mn(Ⅱ) mainly exists in the form of contact ions pairs(CIPs) and aggregates(AGGs) in high-concentration electrolyte.These solvation structures can reduce the destructive effect of Mn(Ⅱ) on battery performance from two aspects:on the one hand,it can rise the lowest unoccupied orbital(LUMO) value of the solvation structures of Mn(Ⅱ),thereby reducing the chance of its reduction;on the other hand,the decrease of Mn2+ions reduction can reduce the deposition of metallic manganese in the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI),thereby avoiding the continuous growth of the SEI.This study can be provided inspiration for the design of electrolytes to inhibit the destructive effect of TMls on LIBs. | Xiaoling Cui Jinlong Sun Dongni Zhao Jingjing Zhang Jie Wang Hong Dong Peng Wang Junwei Zhang Shumin Wu Linhu Song Ningshuang Zhang Chunlei Li Shiyou Li | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3: | 1 |

| 17 | A candy-like photocatalyst by wrapping Co, N-co-doped hollow carbon sphere with ultrathin mesoporous carbon nitride for boosted photocatalytic hydrogen evolution显示文摘Hierarchical carbon material is used as a star cocatalyst in the field of photocatalysis due to its excellent catalytic properties. In this work, mesoporous carbon nitride sheet(MCNS) photocatalyst introduced nitrogen-doped hollow carbon spheres assembled with cobalt nanoparticles(Co@NHC) is synthesized by electrostatic adsorption. A series of characterizations are analyzed to display the structures, morphologies and optical properties of as-prepared materials. The photocatalytic activity of Co@NHC/MCNS material is evaluated with hydrogen evolution under visible light irradiation. The results indicate that 5 wt%Co@NHC/MCNS material reveals higher photocatalytic activity of hydrogen evolution rate of 3675 μmol/g with 4 h reaction time, which is 159 times than that of pure MCNS material. The carbon material with excellent charge transport properties can effectively accelerate the charge transfer from ultrathin MCNS to cobalt nanoparticles. The goal of improving the photocatalytic performance of Co@NHC/MCNS material is achieved. | 19 | Short-Term Wind Power Prediction Based on ICEEMDAN-SE-LSTM Neural Network Model with Classifying Seasonal显示文摘Wind power prediction is very important for the economic dispatching of power systems containing wind power.In this work,a novel short-term wind power prediction method based on improved complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise(ICEEMDAN)and(long short-term memory)LSTM neural network is proposed and studied.First,the original data is prepossessed including removing outliers and filling in the gaps.Then,the random forest algorithm is used to sort the importance of each meteorological factor and determine the input climate characteristics of the forecast model.In addition,this study conducts seasonal classification of the annual data where ICEEMDAN is adopted to divide the original wind power sequence into numerous modal components according to different seasons.On this basis,sample entropy is used to calculate the complexity of each component and reconstruct them into trend components,oscillation components,and random components.Then,these three components are input into the LSTM neural network,respectively.Combined with the predicted values of the three components,the overall power prediction results are obtained.The simulation shows that ICEEMDAN-SE-LSTM achieves higher prediction accuracy ranging from 1.57%to 9.46%than other traditional models,which indicates the reliability and effectiveness of the proposed method for power prediction. | Shumin Sun Peng Yu Jiawei Xing Yan Cheng Song Yang Qian Ai | 2023 | Energy Engineering2023,120,12: | 0 |
| 20 | Temporal-spatial Generation of Astrocytes in the Developing Diencephalon显示文摘tAstrocytes are the largest glial population in the mammalian brain.However,we have a minimal understanding of astrocyte development,especially fate specification in different regions of the brain.Through lineage tracing of the progenitors of the third ventricle(3V)wall via in-utero electroporation in the embryonic mouse brain,we show the fate specification and migration pattern of astrocytes derived from radial glia along the 3V wall.Unexpectedly,radial glia located in different regions along the 3V wall of the diencephalon produce distinct cell types:radial glia in the upper region produce astrocytes and those in the lower region produce neurons in the diencephalon.With genetic fate mapping analysis,we reveal that the first population of astrocytes appears along the zona incerta in the diencephalon.Astrogenesis occurs at an early time point in the dorsal region relative to that in the ventral region of the developing diencephalon.With transcriptomic analysis of the region-specific 3V wall and lateral ventricle(LV)wall,we identified cohorts of differentially-expressed genes in the dorsal 3V wall compared to the ventral 3V wall and LV wall that may regulate astrogenesis in the dorsal diencephalon.Together,these results demonstrate that the generation of astrocytes shows a spatiotemporal pattern in the developing mouse diencephalon. | Wentong Hong Pifang Gong Xinjie Pan Zhonggan Ren Yitong Liu Guibo Qi Jun-Liszt Li Wenzhi Sun Woo-Ping Ge Chun-Li Zhang Shumin Duan Song Qin | 2024 | Neuroscience Bulletin2024,40,1: | 0 |
