| 3 | Study on the PTX Parameters and Fractal Characteristics of Ore-Forming Fluids in the East Ore Section of the Pulang Copper Deposit,Southwest China显示文摘In this paper,the east ore section of the Pulang porphyry copper deposit is selected as the research object.The micro-thermometer and laser Raman spectroscopic technique are utilized to study the parameters of ore-forming fluids such as pressure,temperature,and compositions.In the meantime,the fractal models,including the perimeter-area(P-A)model and number-size(N-S)model,are introduced to quantify the shape of fluid inclusions,and distinguish the stages of ore-forming fluids,respectively.The results show that the types of fluid inclusions are diversified,namely two-phase liquid-rich type,two-phase vapor-rich type,three-phase CO2-rich type,three-phase halite-bearing type and pure liquid type.The fluids of main mineralization stage are characterized by medium-high temperature(170.2–421.4°C),medium-high salinity(9.3 wt.%–33.3 wt.%),and low density(0.73–1.06 g/cm3).With the migration and evolution,the temperature,salinity,and pressure of ore-forming fluids gradually decrease,while the density of fluids increases.The liquid-phase compositions mainly include H2O,and the vapor-phase compositions consist of H2O,CH4,N2,and CO2,indicating the characteristics of reducing fluids and the mixing of atmospheric precipitation.In general,the characteristics of ore-forming fluids in the east ore section are similar to those of the first mining area,suggesting that the ore-forming fluids in the east ore section may not migrate from the first mining area.And the east ore section may be a relatively independent metallogenic system.Moreover,the fractal analysis results demonstrate that the shape of fluid inclusions formed in the same hydrothermal activity features self-similarity.The DAPvalues of fluid inclusions in B veins,ED veins,andD veins are 1.04,1.06 and 1.10,respectively,showing a gradually increasing trend from the main stage to the late stage of mineralization.Meanwhile,the shape of fluid inclusions ranging from B veins to D veins becomes increasingly irregular.It also reveals that the homogenization temperature satisfies fractal distribution with four scale-invariant intervals,suggesting that all B veins,ED veins,and D veins have experienced at least four hydrothermal activities.Compared with histogram,the N-S fractal model is able to describe the distribution characteristics of the ore-forming fluids’homogenization temperature more precisely.Therefore,it presents a potential tool for the stage division of ore-forming fluids.This research provides information about the characteristics of ore-forming fluids in the east ore section of the Pulang porphyry copper deposit,which is beneficial for further exploration in this region,and the extension of the application of fractal models in the study of fluid inclusions.However,further testing of fractal models on the fluid inclusion study is warranted to fully determine the universality. | Qinglin Xia Tongfei Li Li Kang Shuai Leng Xiaochen Wang | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2: | 2 |

| 11 | Possible mechanisms associated with immune escape and apoptosis on anti-hepatocellular carcinoma effect of Mu Ji Fang granules显示文摘BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common digestive system cancers with high mortality rates worldwide.The main ingredients in Mu Ji Fang Granules(MJF)are alkaloids,flavonoids,and polysaccharides.MJF has been used in the clinical treatment of hepatitis,cirrhosis and HCC for more than 30 years.Few previous studies have focused on the mechanism of MJF on tumor immunology in the treatment of HCC.AIM To explore the mechanism of action of MJF on tumor immunology in the treatment of HCC.METHODS The absorbable ingredients of MJF were identified using Molecule Network related to High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Electron Spray Ionization-Time of Flight-Mass Spectrometry,and hub potential anti-HCC targets were screened using network pharmacology and pathway enrichment analysis.Forty male mice were randomly divided into the Blank,Model,and MJF groups(1.8,5.4,and 10.8 g/kg/d)following 7 d of oral administration.Average body weight gain,spleen and thymus indices were calculated,tumor tissues were stained with hematoxylin and eosin,and Interferon gamma(IFN-γ),Tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α),Interleukin-2,aspartate aminotransferase,alanine aminotransferase,alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),Fas,and FasL were measured by Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay.Relevant mRNA expression of Bax and Bcl2 was evaluated by Real Time Quantitative PCR(RTqPCR)and protein expression of Transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1)and Mothers against decapentaplegic homolog(SMAD)4 was assessed by Western blotting.The HepG2 cell line was treated with 10 mg/mL,20 mg/mL,30 mg/mL,40 mg/mL of MJF,and another 3 groups were treated with TGF-β1 inhibitor(LY364947)and different doses of MJF.Relevant mRNA expression of TNF-α,IFN-γ,Bax and Bcl2 was evaluated by RT-qPCR and protein expression of TGF-β1,SMAD2,p-SMAD2,SMAD4,and SMAD7 was assessed by Western blotting.RESULTS It was shown that MJF improved body weight gain and tumor inhibition rate in H22 tumorbearing mice,protected immune organs and liver function,reduced the HCC indicator AFP,affected immunity and apoptosis,and up-regulated the TGF-β1/SMAD signaling pathway,by increasing the relative expression of TGF-β1,SMAD2,p-SMAD2 and SMAD4 and decreasing SMAD7,reducing immune factors TNF-αand IFN-γ,decreasing apoptosis cytokines Fas,FasL and Bcl2/Bax,and inhibiting the effect of LY364947 in HepG2 cells.CONCLUSION MJF inhibits HCC by activating the TGF-β1/SMAD signaling pathway,and affecting immune and apoptotic cytokines,which may be due to MJF adjusting immune escape and apoptosis. | Yi-Bing Zhang Yong-Rui Bao Shuai Wang Tian-Jiao Li He Tai Jia-Peng Leng Xin-Xin Yang Bo-Cai Wang Xian-Sheng Meng | 2023 | World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2023,15,3: | 1 |

| 18 | Global,regional,and national burden of kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers and their attributable risk factors,1990–2019显示文摘Background:The burden of kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers has changed in recent decades.This study aims to investigate the global and regional burden of,and attributable risk factors for genitourinary cancers during the past 30 years.Methods:We extracted data of kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers from the Global Burden of Disease 2019 database,including incidence,mortality,disability-adjusted life-years(DALYs),and attributable risk factors from 1990 to 2019.Estimated annual percentage changes(EAPC)were calculated to assess the changes in age-standardized incidence rate,age-standardized mortality rate(ASMR),and age-standardized DALYs rate(ASDR).The associations between cancers burden and socio-demographic index(SDI)were also analyzed.Results:Compared with 1990,the global incident cases in 2019 were higher by 154.78%,123.34%,and 169.11%for kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers,respectively.During the 30-year study period,there was a downward trend in ASMR and ASDR for bladder cancer(EAPC=–0.68 and–0.83,respectively)and prostate cancer(EAPC=–0.75 and–0.71,respectively),but an upward trend for kidney cancer(EAPC=0.35 and 0.12,respectively).Regions and countries with higher SDI had higher incidence,mortality,and DALYs for all three types of cancers.The burden of bladder and prostate cancers was mainly distributed among older men,whereas the burden of kidney cancer increased among middle-aged men.Smoking related mortality and DALYs decreased,but high body mass index(BMI)and high fasting plasma glucose(FPG)related mortality and DALYs increased among kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers during the study period.Conclusions:Kidney,bladder,and prostate cancers remain major global public health challenges,but with distinct trend for different disease entity across different regions and socioeconomic status.More proactive intervention strategies,at both the administrative and academic levels,based on the dynamic changes,are needed. | Hao Zi Shao-Hua He Xie-Yuan Leng Xiao-Feng Xu Qiao Huang Hong Weng Cong Zhu Lu-Yao Li Jia-Min Gu Xu-Hui Li Dao-Jing Ming Xiao-Dong Li Shuai Yuan Xing-Huan Wang Da-Lin He Xian-Tao Zeng | 2022 | Military Medical Research2022,9,3: | 0 |
| 19 | Correlation analysis of serum thyroglobulin,thyroid-stimulating hormone levels,and thyroid-cancer risk in thyroid nodule surgery显示文摘BACKGROUND Thyroglobulin(Tg)is one of the markers of thyroid cancer,and its concentration may be elevated in patients with malignant thyroid tumors.Thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH)is secreted by the pituitary gland,which has a significant impact on thyroid gland function.Excessively high or low TSH levels may be associated with an increased risk of thyroid cancer.Thus,in-depth studies on the association of serum Tg and TSH levels with thyroid cancer risk in patients with thyroid nodules are warranted.This can help determine whether Tg and TSH levels can predict the degree of malignancy of thyroid nodules,which can in turn guide doctors in making accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions.Furthermore,such studies can provide more accurate diagnostic methods for thyroid nodules and help patients become aware of the presence of thyroid cancer as early as possible,thereby improving the success rate of treatment and prognosis.AIM To investigate the association of serum Tg and TSH levels with the risk of thyroid cancer in patients undergoing thyroid nodule surgery.METHODS The clinical data and laboratory examination results of 130 patients who underwent thyroid nodule surgery were retrospectively analyzed.Furthermore,their preoperative serum Tg and TSH levels were recorded.Histopathological examination conducted during follow-up revealed the presence of thyroid cancer.Correlation analysis were used to analyze the association of Tg and TSH levels with the risk of thyroid cancer.RESULTS Of the 130 patients,60 were diagnosed with thyroid cancer.Statistical analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between serum Tg levels and the risk of thyroid cancer(P<0.05).This suggests that high serum Tg levels are associated with an increased risk of thyroid cancer.However,no significant correlation was observed between serum TSH levels and the risk of thyroid cancer(P>0.05).CONCLUSION In patients who underwent thyroid nodule surgery,serum Tg levels exhibited a significant correlation with the risk of thyroid cancer but serum TSH levels did not.These findings suggest that serum Tg can serve as an important biomarker for assessing the risk of thyroid cancer in these patients. | Jin-Hao Shuai Zhao-Fang Leng Peng Wang Yi-Chi Ji | 2023 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2023,11,27: | 0 |
| 20 | Shape memory poly(ether ether ketone)s with tunable chain stiffness,mechanical strength and high transition temperatures显示文摘Shape memory polymers,with intrinsic enhanced strength and high thermal stability,are highly demanded in aerospace,engineering manufacturing,and spatial structures.In this paper,we develop a series of thermoplastic shape memory poly(ether ether ketone)s(PEEKs)for the first time,achieving an excellent shape memory ability,high strength,and great thermal stability via a condensation polymerization.Through tuning the proportion of different bisphenol monomers,the flexibility of molecular main chains is adjusted,resulting in the regulation of transition temperature and mechanical performances.Synthesized PEEKs possess the tunable T_(g) from 143.3°C to 178.6°C,the enhanced tensile strength from 48.4 to 65.1 MPa,and Young’s modulus from 0.45 to 1.8 GPa,in addition to the excellent heat-triggered shape memory effect,as indicated by high recovery ratio(94%–98.9%)and fixity ratio(over 99.5%).Furthermore,after incorporating the magnetocaloric Fe_(3)O_(4) particles,the composites exhibit remotely noncontact magnetic-triggered shape memory behaviors(Fe_(3)O_(4) content over 10 wt%).These synthesized T_(g) tunable shape memory PEEKs and the composites have wide utilization potential in fields of engineering and aerospace structures,owing to the excellent mechanical properties,thermal stability,unique programmable deformation ability,and remote actuation. | Shuai Yang Yang He Jinsong Leng | 2022 | International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2022,13,1: | 0 |
