1A New Species of the Asian Toad Genus Megophrys sensu lato(Amphibia: Anura: Megophryidae) from Guizhou Province, China显示文摘We describe a new species of the genus Megophrys sensu lato from Guizhou Province, China. Molecular phylogenetic analyses based on mitochondrial DNA and nuclear DNA sequences all strongly supported the new species as an independent lineage in Megophrys(Panophrys) clade. The new species is distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following morphological characteristics:(1) small body size with SVL < 38.8 mm in male and SVL < 42.3 mm in female;(2) vomerine teeth absent;(3) tongue not notched behind;(4) a small horn-like tubercle at the edge of each upper eyelid;(5) tympanum distinctly visible, rounded;(6) two metacarpal tubercles in hand;(7) relative finger lengths: II < I < V < III;(8) toes with rudimentary webbing at bases;(9) heels overlapping when thighs are positioned at right angles to the body;(10) tibiotarsal articulation reaching the level between tympanum to eye when leg stretched forward;(11) an internal single subgular vocal sac in male;(12) in breeding male, the nuptial pads with black nuptial spines on the dorsal bases of the first and second fingers.Shize LI Ning XU Jing LIU Jianping JIANG Gang WEI Bin WANG 2018Asian Herpetological Research2018,9,4:10

8Fault-Propagate Pattern Based DFA on PRESENT and PRINTcipher显示文摘This article proposes an enhanced differential fault analysis(DFA) method named as fault-propagation pattern-based DFA(FPP-DFA).The main idea of FPP-DFA is using the FPP of the ciphertext difference to predict the fault location and the fault-propagation path.It shows that FPP-DFA is very effective on SPN structure block ciphers using bitwise permutation,which is applied to two block ciphers.The first is PRESENT with the substitution permutation sequence.With the fault model of injecting one nibble fault into the r-2nd round,on average 8 and 16 faults can reduce the key search space of PRESENT-80/128 to 214.7 and 221.1,respectively.The second is PRINTcipher with the permutation substitution sequence.For the first time,it shows that although the permutation of PRINTcipher is secret key dependent,FPP-DFA still works well on it.With the fault model of injecting one nibble fault into the r-2nd round,12 and 24 effective faults can reduce the key search space of PRINTcipher-48/96 to 213.7 and 222.8,respectively.ZHAO Xinjie GUO Shize WANG Tao ZHANG Fan SHI Zhijie 2012Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2012,17,6:2

12Effects of Water Quality on the Distribution of Chinese Giant Salamander(Andrias davidianus)in Guizhou Province,China显示文摘13 water quality parameters were tested from 38 reaches of 34 counties in Guizhou where Chinese giant salamander(Andrias davidianus) distributed over the past 30 years. Dissolved oxygen and p H were found to be significant determinants of the species distribution in recent years(P<0.05). There was no Chinese giant salamander distribution in the recent five years in rivers with dissolved solids of greater than 415 mg/L, conductivity of greater than 639 us/cm, salinity of greater than 0.31 ppt and total hardness of greater than 150 mg/L. Sensitive to environment, the Chinese giant salamander is an important indicator for environmental quality, so it could be used as one of the environmental indicator. 20Ultrasound-driven fabrication of high-entropy alloy nanocatalysts promoted by alcoholic ionic liquids显示文摘High-entropy alloy nanoparticles(HEA-NPs)are highly underutilized in heterogeneous catalysis due to the absence of a reliable,sustainable,and facile synthetic method.Herein,we report a facile synthesis of HEA nanocatalysts realized via an ultrasounddriven wet chemistry method promoted by alcoholic ionic liquids(AILs).Owing to the intrinsic reducing ability of the hydroxyl group,AILs were synthesized and utilized as environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional reducing agents and volatile organic solvents in the synthetic process.Under high-intensity ultrasound irradiation,Au^(3+),Pd^(2+),Pt^(2+),Rh^(3+),and Ru^(3+)ions were coreduced and transformed into single-phase HEA(AuPdPtRhRu)nanocrystals without calcination.Characterization results reveal that the as-synthesized nanocrystals are composed of elements of Au,Pd,Pt,Rh,and Ru as expected.Compared to the monometallic counterparts such as Pd-NPs,the carbon-supported HEA nanocatalysts show superior catalytic performance for selective hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanone in terms of yield and selectivity.Our synthetic strategy provides an improved and facile methodology for the sustainable synthesis of multicomponent alloys for catalysis and other applications.Francis Okejiri Zhenzhen Yang Hao Chen Chi-Linh Do-Thanh Tao Wang Shize Yang Sheng Dai 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1
