On morphology, the new species is distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following characters:(1) small body size with SVL < 39.2 mm in male and SVL < 40.4 mm in female;(2) vomerine teeth absent;(3) tongue not notched behind;(4) a small horn-like tubercle at the edge of each upper eyelid;(5) tympanum distinctly visible, rounded;(6) two or three metacarpal tubercles in hand;(7) relative finger lengths: Ⅰ< Ⅱ< Ⅴ< Ⅲ;(8) toes without webbing;(9) heels overlapped when thighs are positioned at right angles to the body;(10) tibiotarsal articulation reaching tympanum to eye when leg stretched forward;(11) an internal single subgular vocal sac in male;(12) in breeding male, the nuptial pads with black nuptial spines on the dorsal bases of the first and second fingers.Jing LIU Shize LI Gang WEI Ning XU Yanlin CHENG Bin WANG Jun WU 2020Asian Herpetological Research2020,11,1:4
Recent development of studies on the mechanism of resistive memories in several metal oxides显示文摘Resistive switching random access memories(RRAM)have been considered to be promising for future information technology with applications for non-volatile memory, logic circuits and neuromorphic computing.Key performances of those resistive devices are approaching the realistic levels for production. In this paper,we review the progress of valence change type memories, including relevant work reported by our group. Both electrode engineering and in-situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM)high-resolution observation have been implemented to reveal the influence of migration of oxygen anions/vacancies on the resistive switching effect. The understanding of resistive memory mechanism is significantly important for device applications.TIAN XueZeng WANG LiFen LI XiaoMin WEI JiaKe YANG ShiZe XU Zhi WANG WenLong BAI XueDong 2013Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2013,56,12:2
Effects of Water Quality on the Distribution of Chinese Giant Salamander(Andrias davidianus)in Guizhou Province,China显示文摘13 water quality parameters were tested from 38 reaches of 34 counties in Guizhou where Chinese giant salamander(Andrias davidianus) distributed over the past 30 years. Dissolved oxygen and p H were found to be significant determinants of the species distribution in recent years(P<0.05). There was no Chinese giant salamander distribution in the recent five years in rivers with dissolved solids of greater than 415 mg/L, conductivity of greater than 639 us/cm, salinity of greater than 0.31 ppt and total hardness of greater than 150 mg/L. Sensitive to environment, the Chinese giant salamander is an important indicator for environmental quality, so it could be used as one of the environmental indicator. Eutrophication, chemical fertilizer, pesticides and inorganic pollutants may be one of reasons driving wild CGS into extinction.Xue LI Jingcai LV Shize LI Ning XU Gang WEI 2017Agricultural Science & Technology2017,18,8:1

Description of a New Species of the Asian Newt Genus Tylototriton sensu lato(Amphibia:Urodela:Salamandridae) from Southwest China显示文摘The newt genus Tylototriton sensu lato is widely distributed in Eastern,Southeastern and Southern Asia.Previous studies indicated that there still has been several cryptic species in the group. Here,we describe a new species of the genus from Guizhou Province,China.Phylogenetic analyses based on mitochondrial DNA supported that the new species was resolved as an independent clade nested into the Tylototriton sensu lato clade. On morphology, the new species could be distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following characters:large body size(SVL 76.8-85.2 mm in male and 76.3-87.4 mm in female);head longer than wide;snout truncate in dorsal view;tail length longer than the snout-vent length in males;the distal digit ends, ventral digits, peripheral area of cloaca and the tail s lower margin are orange;relative length of toesⅢ> Ⅳ> Ⅱ> Ⅰ> Ⅴ;the distal tips of the limbs greatly overlapping when the fore and hind limbs are pressed along the trunk;fingertips reach the level beyond the snout when the forelimbs are stretched forward.Shize LI Gang WEI Yanlin CHENG Baowei ZHANG Bin WANG 2020Asian Herpetological Research2020,11,4:1
Integrated metabolism and epigenetic modifications in the macrophages of mice in responses to cold stress显示文摘The negative effects of low temperature can readily induce a variety of diseases. We sought to understand the reasons why cold stress induces disease by studying the mechanisms of fine-tuning in macrophages following cold exposure. We found that cold stress triggers increased macrophage activation accompanied by metabolic reprogramming of aerobic glycolysis. The discovery,by genome-wide RNA sequencing,of defective mitochondria in mice macrophages following cold exposure indicated that mitochondrial defects may contribute to this process. In addition, changes in metabolism drive the differentiation of macrophages by affecting histone modifications. Finally,we showed that histone acetylation and lactylation are modulators of macrophage differentiation following cold exposure.Collectively,metabolism-related epigenetic modifications are essential for the differentiation of macrophages in cold-stressed mice, and the regulation of metabolism may be crucial for alleviating the harm induced by cold stress.Jingjing LU Shoupeng FU Jie DAI Jianwen HU Shize LI Hong JI Zhiquan WANG Jiahong YU Jiming BAO Bin XU Jingru GUO Huanmin YANG 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,6:0
Collected Data of Local Ecological Knowledge to Predict Current Status and Potential Threats of salamander(Andrias davidianusin)in Zhengan County of Guizhou Province,China显示文摘Chinese giant salamander(CGS, Andrias davidianus) is experiencing the threat of extinction. It is disappearing gradually, because of overharvesting, environmental pollution, specially river pollution, activity of human exploitation, and so on. We conducted community interview fieldworks to collect respondent data from Xieba Country(not reserve) situated in Zhengan County of Guizhou Province, where one of the places known by historical giant salamander records in Guizhou. Through the analysis of the collected data, we created quantitative data of use for conservation management on the local status of salamander populations, and we compared our data with those available data of Y. Pan et al., who investigated the status of CGS in 3 reserves in Guizhou Province in 2015.The conclusions have a similar trend, which proved that the collected data were creditable. Through statistical analysis of the comparison data, the number of wild CGS decreased actually followed the increase of artificial framing.Because of the source of breeding to catch wild CGS, overharvesting was likely the most reason to make wild CGS decline.Zijing SU Jingcai LYU Shize LI Gang WEI 2017Agricultural Science & Technology2017,18,8:0
A top–down strategy to realize the synthesis of small-sized L10 - platinum-based intermetallic compounds for selective hydrogenation显示文摘The synthesis of Pt-based nanoparticles(NPs)with ultrasmall feature and tailored structure is of great importance for catalysis yet challenging. In this work,we demonstrate a facile top–down strategy for the fabrication of small-sized Pt-based intermetallic compounds(IMCs)with L10 structure through the evaporation of Cd under high temperature.Impressively, such thermal treatment can be used as a versatile strategy for creating binary, ternary, quaternary, quinary, and senary L10-Pt-based IMCs.Moreover, the small-sized Pt-based IMCs display high stability against high temperature of 700℃,which can serve as active and selective catalyst for the selective hydrogenation of 4-nitrophenylacetylene.This work may not only provide a versatile top–down strategy for fabricating highly stable small-sized Pt-based NPs with L10 structure, but also promote their extensive applications in catalysis and beyond.Yu Jin Guomian Ren Yonggang Feng Shize Geng Ling Li Xing Zhu Jun Guo Qi Shao Yong Xu Xiaoqing Huang Jianmei Lu 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
Switching CO_(2) Electroreduction Selectivity Between C_(1) and C_(2) Hydrocarbons on Cu Gas-Diffusion Electrodes显示文摘Regulating the selectivity toward a target hydrocarbon product is still the focus of CO_(2)electroreduction.Here,we discover that the original surface Cu species in Cu gas-diffusion electrodes plays a more important role than the surface roughness, local pH,and facet in governing the selectivity toward C_(1)or C_(2)hydrocarbons.The selectivity toward C_(2)H_(4) progressively increases, while CH_(4) decreases steadily upon lowering the Cu oxidation species fraction. At a relatively low electrodeposition voltage of 1.5 V,the Cu gas-diffusion electrode with the highest Cu^(δ+)/Cu^(0)ratio favors the pathways of∗CO hydrogenation to form CH_(4) with maximum Faradaic efficiency of 65.4%and partial current density of 228 mA cm^(−2)at−0.83 V vs RHE.At 2.0 V,the Cu gas-diffusion electrode with the lowest Cu^(δ+)/Cu^(0)ratio prefers C-C coupling to form C_(2)+products with Faradaic efficiency topping 80.1%at−0.75 V vs RHE,where the Faradaic efficiency of C_(2)H_(4) accounts for 46.4%and the partial current density of C_(2)H_(4) achieves 279 mA cm^(−2).This work demonstrates that the selectivity from CH_(4) to C_(2)H_(4) is switchable by tuning surface Cu species composition of Cu gas-diffusion electrodes.Jianfang Zhang Zhengyuan Li Rui Cai Tianyu Zhang Shize Yang Lu Ma Yan Wang Yucheng Wu Jingjie Wu 2023Energy & Environmental Materials2023,6,2:0
Application of DSAPSO Algorithm in Distribution Network Reconfiguration with Distributed Generation显示文摘With the current integration of distributed energy resources into the grid, the structure of distribution networks is becoming more complex. This complexity significantly expands the solution space in the optimization process for network reconstruction using intelligent algorithms.Consequently, traditional intelligent algorithms frequently encounter insufficient search accuracy and become trapped in local optima. To tackle this issue,a more advanced particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed. To address the varying emphases at different stages of the optimization process,a dynamic strategy is implemented to regulate the social and self-learning factors. The Metropolis criterion is introduced into the simulated annealing algorithm to occasionally accept suboptimal solutions, thereby mitigating premature convergence in the population optimization process. The inertia weight is adjusted using the logistic mapping technique to maintain a balance between the algorithm’s global and local search abilities. The incorporation of the Pareto principle involves the consideration of network losses and voltage deviations as objective functions.A fuzzy membership function is employed for selecting the results.Simulation analysis is carried out on the restructuring of the distribution network, using the IEEE-33 node system and the IEEE-69 node system as examples,in conjunction with the integration of distributed energy resources. The findings demonstrate that,in comparison to other intelligent optimization algorithms, the proposed enhanced algorithm demonstrates a shorter convergence time and effectively reduces active power losses within the network.Furthermore,it enhances the amplitude of node voltages, thereby improving the stability of distribution network operations and power supply quality.Additionally, the algorithm exhibits a high level of generality and applicability.Caixia Tao Shize Yang Taiguo Li 2024Energy Engineering2024,121,1:0
